Tax_recovery_rate column mapping in R12 tax tables

Hi ,
Can anyone pleasehelp me out. I am trying to remediate a view which originally in 11i was consisting of the following columns:
org_id,
tax_id,
name,
tax_rate,
tax_recovery_rate,
offset_tax_code_id,
start_date,
inactive_date end_date,
enabled_flag enabled
(table used: ap_tax_codes_all)
I was able to map the coluumns using the zx_rates_b and zx_accounts as
internal_organization_id org_id,
source_id tax_id,
zrb.tax_rate_code name,
percentage_rate tax_rate,
zrb.tax_rate_id offset_tax_code_id,
effective_from start_date,
effective_to end_date,
active_flag enabled
except for the tax_recovery_rate column.
Can anyone please explain how this column is mapped in r12 tables?

You can create SQL connection and use Datareader to read from SQL.Firs create a connection string and put this string in web application web.config file of your sharepoint site.
Now use below code to call your connectionstring in your webpart.

Link between ZX tax tables and gl_code_combinations table in R12

Hi All,
I am new to Oracle apps. We are upgrading from EBS 11i to R12.1.3. In it, ar_vat_tax is obolete. I know its replacement is ZX_rates_b table. But in 11i, they are connected using
ar_vat_tax.tax_account_id = gl_code_combinations.code_combination_id
Now I am not able to find the join between zx tax tables and gl_code_combinations. Can anyone please help how to link these ZX tax table to gl_code_combinations???

Resolved the issue.
There is a table called ZX_ACCOUNTS. Use the column tax_account_ccid in it. Link ZX_ACCOUNTS.tax_account_entity_id to ZX_RATES_B.tax_rate_id.

OBIEE 10g repository - Business model - logical table to physical table, column mapping is empty

Hi, I am really new to OBIEE 10g.
I already set up a SQL Server 2005 database in Physical and import a view vw_Dim_retail_branch.
The view has 3 columns: branch_id, branch_code, branch_desc.
Now I want to set up the Business model to map this physical table (view).
I created a new Business model
Added new logical table Dim_retail_branch
In the sources, added the vw_Dim_retail_branch as source table.
But in the Logical table source window, column mapping tab, it's blank. I thought it should be able to identify all the columns from vw_Dim_retail_branch, but not. The show mapped columns is ticked.
What should I do here? Manually type each column?

Just you can drag and drop the columns from physical layer to BMM layer.
Select the 3 columns and drag and drop it to the created logical column in BMM layer.

Mapping column names stored in a table to one data table dynamically

Hi everyone,
Can someone help me - I am trying to import different file types (CSV, TXT, XLS) into a common table.
The column mapping for the input files is mapped in a look up table - so file 1.txt can have columns order as 12345 while file 2.csv can have columns order 54321.
How would I dynamically set up the correct mapping depending on which file I am busy with in my foreach loop. (an example would be much appreciated - I am relatively new to SSIS and have a deadline coming up)

Pretty sure not possible with available transformations...
You can try script tasks/component and standardize the input file one by one by using a bunch of loops/if-else codes and collect your data into one table.
Otherwise, you would need to create different connections/DF for each types of files.

Migrating CMP EJB mapped to SQL Server table with identity column from WL

I want to migrate an application from Weblogic to SAP Netweaver 2004s (7.0). We had successfully migrated this application to an earlier version of Netweaver. I have a number of CMP EJBs which are mapped to SQL Server tables with the PK as identity columns(autogenerated by SQL Server). I am having difficulty mapping the same in persistant.xml. This scenario works perfectly well in Weblogic and worked by using ejb-pk in an earlier version of Netweaver.
Please let me know how to proceed.

I suspect it is the security as specified in the message. E.g .your DBA set the ID columns so no user can override values in it.
And I suggest you 1st put the data into a staging table, then push it to the destination, this does not resolve the issue, but ensures better processing.

When I upload a cvs file not all the column display in the Data / Table Mapping screen

1. I have created application using Apex Data Loading wizard. There when I am trying to load data from .csv file, but not all the columns display in the "Data / Table Mapping" screen. But if I go through AQL --> Utility --> Data Workshop, there all column display in "Data / Table Mapping" page. I want to get same thing in application I created. How will get all columns display in the screen?
2. Is there any way to select target table dynamically during runtime. So that in appication we can select different target tables with different source file to load data.

if you have access to the HANA Live RDS documentation which comes as part of the so called Step-by-Step Guide you can find a document RDS_SHL_HANA10V5_Technical_Content_Mapping_EN_XX.xls in the folder structure. To get to this file you need to drill down this path:..RDS SBS Guides\HANA Live\V5\Serv_Enabled\RDS
In that file you find all the tables used in all the RDS content.

Hi can anyone tell me the name of the tax table which generates the tax CCID for accounting segments....

Resolved the issue.
There is a table called ZX_ACCOUNTS. Use the column tax_account_ccid in it. Link ZX_ACCOUNTS.tax_account_entity_id to ZX_RATES_B.tax_rate_id.

Since the printed Purchase order default report does not include tax in it, i want to make a customized report which i have done so
The Ebusiness suite taxations etup has been done BUT i cant find the tables which hold the tax information due to which my customized report is pending

One way of getting the table/column name is from the application. Navigate to the form where the tax field is located; open the form, and query the record, and use of the following:
- Enable trace
- Help > Record History
- Help > Diagnostics > Examine
- Use SYSTEM.LAST_QUERY

How map to my particular table to the fact table in obiee 11g...

I did this simple report in obiee 11g(i.e)
"NATIONALITY COUNT IN DEPARTMENT WISE"
For that i used the following tables:
per_all_assignments_f----->fact table
hr_all_organization_units----->dim table(containing departments)
per_all_people_f---------------->dim table(containing nationality)
I made all the mappings in the physical diagram, as also viewed my report in BI answers
It shows the following results like
NATIONALITY---------------------------------------------------------------------COUNT(NATIONALITY)
AUS------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------24
AFR------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------25
PHQ_VB-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------40
SH_VT----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------4
The problem is for me it is showing the above results, but the nationality column is of various codes of the country.
Since i doesnt want the code of the nationalitian to display in the results..i need the meaning of each and every nationality..
like,
AUS------------------------Australian
AFR-------------------------African
PHQ_VB----------------------Germanian(assigned)
Since i know that the meaning for the nationalitian is available in "FND_LOOKUP_VALUES"...okay..
I can import "FND_LOOKUP_VALUES" table to the physical layer...but how i can able to give the mapping to the fact table in my physical diagram...
In my report the fact table is "per_all_assignments_f"
As my fact table doesnt contains any matching column corresponding to the dimension table "FND_LOOKUP_VALUES".....
Then how i can give mappings to the fact column???? for viewing the full meaning of the nationalitian in my report.....Help me friends...

*) I saved the query that i executed in toad with the columns showing country codes and country meaning to the excel sheet...
This is the query that i executed in toad and copied data s in excel sheet..

if so, again im not giving key connection to my fact table..
I think again the same error will occur that no logical mapping is not made to fact so again repository is inconsistent...

Table2: m_id,description,col4,col5. Primay key - (m_id,col4).
The relationship I specified is table1-has-many-table2. This is a 1 to m relation
and

I specified the following column-map
<column-map>
<foreign-key-column>m_id</foreign-key-column>
<key-column>id</key-column>
</column-map>
But the server is throwing an exception that all the columns in table2 should
me mapped.
But in this case, I can join the tables with just id only. What should I specify
for col4 map?.
I can just reverse the mapping, but I am trying to test the boundaries of weblogic
server.
Is this case handled in weblogic server implementation?.
I am testing relationship-role-map for ejb2.0 on weblogic server8.1 beta version.

SSIS 2012 - Importing multiple files with different columns (where columns are stored in a table)

Hi everyone,
I have been tasked to upgrade an existing DTS package into an SSIS package.
The old package uses 3 tables.
Table 1) Has a list of file names
Table 2) Has a list of columns per file
Table 3) Is the data destination.
So what is supposed to happen is:
Step 1) the package should load the files into a resultset
Step 2) for each file in the resultset, the package should get the related columns
Step 3) the package should now map the columns to the destination table (variable column numbers here)
Step 4) the import should take place.
I have gotten to step 2 but am not sure how to dynamically map the columns to the destination table.
Any pointers anyone?

What’s the nature of Table 2, does it only store the column names for each file? I don’t know how it is implemented in DTS package, however, in SSIS package, dynamic columns mapping is not supported. To work around this issue, we need to use Script component
to do the columns mapping. You can refer to Sorna’s script above or have a look at the following blogs:

use one of the following based on your requirement
Bind the header text to a context attribute and access this attribute from code when clicked on the column.
Or use parameter mapping.
