Tcode PPCI : please help
Hi all,
i need to create a new PD infotype so i searched some informations about that.
I recovered the following document :

I created my structure : HRI9100 and activate it. Now go into the tcode PPCI, i put the infotype number and a description, i click on create button. Help SAP : "The infotype copier generates all of the Repository objects that are required for the infotype.". In my case, i obtain a popup with the text "Infotype 9100 cannot be created. Please look at the following log."
Ok i do this. In dictionnary section, only the structure HRI9100 exists, the structure P9100 has not been created, and the table HRP9100 has not been created etc. Nothing has been created automatically.

Enter the transaction code PPCI
Enter a four digit infotype number (9nnn) and an infotype name.
Select Field Infotype
Choose Infotype Create.
Choose Check environment to maintain the required entry in table T777I (Infotypes per object type).
Choose the Entry 'T777I' under the list of 'Table Entries' (This list is produced when you choose 'Check' on the First screen of the Transaction PPCI.
Press the 'Change' button and you will be taken to the 'Maintain Table Views' Transaction (SM30).
Press the Maintain button.
From the list of Infotypes locate the custom infotype created and select the entry for that.
Click on the 'Time Constraint' folder appearing on the left hand corner of the screen.
The screen for Change View Time Constraint would appear.
In the object type field put in: O,P,S whatever is relevant to your requirement.Also add the time constraint.
Save it and double click on the 'Infotypes per object type' folder (on the left hand side again).
Create a new entry here for your infotype and save it.
also.....
First create the structure HRI9nnn for field infotypes and PTnnnn for table infotypes in the dictionary using SE11 tcode.
Activate structures....!!!!

Adobe PDF forms using tcode SFP - Nested tables... Please help
Hi Friends,
I have some strange issues when I am trying to create a nested dynamic table with SAP DATA in Adobe Designer.
In the context, under the MAIN node
I had dragged the header table. Under the header table I had dragged the item table and had created a WHERE condition to link the HEADER and ITEM table.
Now my layout is pretty complicated..
I want to result to be as below:
header row.... with 0001 Customer name
item row with 0001 0010 price qty
0001 0020 price qty
0001 0030 price qty
header row... field4
(field4 from the header table has to be displayed after the item table has generated all the items and this process should repeat for all header data)
My design in layout is as below
subform1 for headerdata
( set as positioned and has set to 'Repeat form for each data item')
headerdata fields for subform1 (field1, field2, field3)
subform2 for itemdata
(set as folowed)
subform3 for itemdata
(set as positioned, 'Allow page breaks within content' and had set 'Repeat form for each data item')
itemdata fields in subform3
subform4 for headerrow field4
but when I activated and execute the form, the result was wrong.
The result should be like below...

but it is printed like below and field4 is overlapped with the item rows if the item rows are more...

2) If I have more item data, all the item rows are overlapped with the field4 (which I had explained in my layout) and the item rows are not moved to the next page, but still it is continued in the same page, meaning that if the page can fill 20 lines and my item row are more than 20 lines, 20 lines are printed and the remaining items are not moved to the next page... it is invisible...
How can I solve this issue?

Can you please help with any pointers / links to documents describing best practices for "who should be creating" the GRC request in below workflow of ARM in GRC 10.0??
Create GRC request -> role approver -> risk manager -> security team
options are : end user / Manager / Functional super users / security team.
End user and manager not possible- we can not train so many people. Functional team is refusing since its a lot of work. Please help me with pointers to any best practices documents.

In order for the managers to comprehend the new process, you should create a separate "Role Catalog" that describes what abilities each role enables. This Role Catalog needs to be taught to the department Managers, and they need to fully understand what tcodes and abilities are inside of each role. From your workflow design, it looks like Role Owners should be brought into these workshops.
You might consider a Role Catalog that the manager could filter on and make selections from. For example, an AP manager could select "Accounts Payable" roles, and then choose from a smaller list of AP-related roles. You could map business functions or tasks to specific technical roles. The design flaw here, of course, is the way your technical roles have been designed.
The point being, GRC AC 10 is not business-user friendly, so using an intuitive "Role Catalog" really helps the managers understand which technical roles they should be selecting in GRC ARs. They can use this catalog to spit out a list of technical role names that they can then search for within the GRC Access Request.
At all costs, avoid having end-users create ARs. They usually select the wrong access, and the process then becomes very long and drawn out because the role owners or security stages need to mix and match the access after the fact. You should choose a Requestor who has the highest chance of requesting the correct access. This is usually the user's Manager, but you need to propose this solution in a way that won't scare off the manager - at the end of the day, they do NOT want to take on more work.
If you are using SAP HR, then you can attempt HR Triggers for New User Access Requests, which automatically fill out and submit the GRC AR upon a specific HR action (New Hire, or Termination). I do not recommend going down this path, however. It is very confusing, time consuming, and difficult to integrate properly.

1 & 2. Once u define G/L accounts in valuation class it is applicable for the movement types under the valuation class. for tcode:0MWB or menu path:

SMARTFORMS STEPS.
1. In Tcode se11 Create a structure(struct) same like the Internal table that you are going to use in your report.
2. Create Table type(t_struct) of stracture in se11.
3. In your program declare Internal table(Itab) type table of structure(struct).
4. Define work area(wa) like line of internal table.
5. Open Tcode Smartforms
6. In form Global setting , forminterface Import parameter define Internal table(Itab) like table type of stracture(t_struct).
7. In form Global setting , Global definitions , in Global data define Work area(wa) like type stracture(struct).
8. In form pages and window, create Page node by default Page1 is available.
9. In page node you can create numbers of secondary window. But in form there is only one Main window.
10. By right click on page you can create windows or Go to Edit, Node, Create.
11. After creating the window right click on window create table for displaying the data that you are passing through internal table.
12. In the table Data parameter, loop internal internal table (Itab) into work area(wa).
13. In table there are three areas Header, Main Area, Footer.
14. Right click on the Main area create table line by default line type1 is there select it.
15. Divide line into cells according to your need then for each cell create Text node.
16. In text node general attribute. Write down fields of your work area(wa) or write any thing you want to display.
17. Save form and activate it.
18. Then go to Environment, function module name, there you get the name of function module copy it.
19. In your program call the function module that you have copied from your form.
20. In your program in exporting parameter of function pass the internal table(itab).
SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.
You can check individual nodes as well as the entire form and find any existing errors in the tree structure. The data flow analysis checks whether all fields (variables) have a defined value at the moment they are displayed.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to include graphics, which you can display either as part of the form or as background graphics. You use background graphics to copy the layout of an existing (scanned) form or to lend forms a company-specific look. During printout, you can suppress the background graphic, if desired.

You design a form using the graphical Form Painter and the graphical Table Painter. The form logic is represented by a hierarchy structure (tree structure) that consists of individual nodes, such as nodes for global settings, nodes for texts, nodes for output tables, or nodes for graphics.
To make changes, use Drag & Drop, Copy & Paste, and select different attributes.

Parameters of a Function Module.Please help
Hi guys,
Am using the FM ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_SERVER to take an file from the presentation server i.e local PC to an application server.
In this Fm the parameters are source path and destination path,source path being the path to the file in the PC and destination path the path where the file needs to go in the appn server.
To find the directory in appn server I logged on to Tcode AL11 where I goit the SAP directories.
I wanna put my file in one of thedse directories.What should I give my file path in the FM as.
For eg. /usr/sap/BS7/DVEBMGS01/work
is what I find in AL11 but what path to give in the FM.Will giving this suffice.
Please help.

You cannot post the data anywhere in the application server. Just ask path to your client or your onsite coordinator. They will give you the path.

Using flat file to upload in ABAP. Please help. Urgent
Hi all,
I am using a CSV excel file to upload some data to my ABAP program. Thje file contains material numbers as one of the fields. But if I enter the material number 11910892E80, excel converts it to 1.19E+87. Since I am using this file in the program to extract some fields from MARA, i am getting an error 'Material number does not exist'.
I know that we can avoid this problem by changing the format type of the cell to 'text' in excel. I want to know if there is any other way to rectify this problem. I have to use an excel file for upload. Notepad will not do.
Please help me solve this problem. It is urgent.

If it is comma delimited file (CSV format) you can directly read the whole file and into a table with one field.
Loop at that table.
Use split a comma into fields of your internal table.

Question on security in ABAP. Please help!
Hi Experts,
I have a question on security in ABAP program.
I have a ABAP program which has a transaction attached.
I have added authorization check in ABAP program(Progran level security).
I have also attached the authorization object to the transaction.(Transaction level security)
If an end user runs the transactionm, then which authorization check will fire first? Will it be transaction level?
If I have web enabled my ABAP program via SICF (in other words, ITS). Then when I try to run my ITS service in the browser will the transaction level authorization fire? or Will the program level authorization fire?
Please help me understand this security aspect.

I have a ABAP program which has a transaction attached.
I have added authorization check in ABAP program(Progran level security).
I have also attached the authorization object to the transaction.(Transaction level security)
If an end user runs the transactionm, then which authorization check will fire first? Will it be transaction level?
If I have web enabled my ABAP program via SICF (in other words, ITS). Then when I try to run my ITS service in the browser will the transaction level authorization fire? or Will the program level authorization fire?
Please help me understand this security aspect.

i assume you have coded call authority within the program.

if he calls the transaction, then first authorization attached to the transaction will be checked.
but if he executes the program attached to the transaction, then the authorization attached to the transaction dosent help here, the one coded in side the program is checked.

it depends,
if you are calling your transaction like
webgui/?~transaction=<tcode> then first tcode level authorization.
if you generate the templates for the program and callign the same, then i guess its progam level. (i need to check this)

CRM order giving the document could not be saved exception! Please help!

The function BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_SAVE is returning error: The document could not be saved in it_return. I am not getting any other details. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

The SPRO settings seems to be fine.
The problem is that the order is not getting saved whenever there is backward status change. However if I see the item status via tcode "crmd_order" then it actually shows the new status. In other words status is changing but still order is not getting saved.
When I debugged the code I found that first It has successfully executed the FM CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN and then when CRM_ORDER SAVE is called the parameter et_saved_objects is empty. I am passing header Guid in it_objects_to_save. If order is saved properly then et_saved_objects should be filled with order guid.

Please help about Report Printer and PS tables-objects . ..
Hi everybody
I'm in trouble. I have a requirement in PS módule related with reports created by the Report Printer tool. I don't have any idea about these topics.
My requirement is to create a report (not with Report Printer) with the structure for projects, with all the structure Project-WBS-Network-Activity and with some values like Budget, Commit, Actual, Paid, etc.
The functional consultant only tells me about some reports created with Report Printer wich have the columns required, some report has the Budget, other one has the Commit, etc. For example, one report is the tcode S_ALR_87013532; i don't know if this transaction exists in all the SAP implementations or if it was created only for my company.
These reports only show two levels (Project-Network) so i i have to investigate:
1. How to get all the structure levels (project-WBS-network-activity)
2. How to 'translate' in code some value showed in a report created with Report Printer, i guess these values are created with formules and objects.
3. How to get the same values showed in these reports, but for the Networks and Activities.
I do not know anything about PS module and Report Printer and i really don't have any idea about how to make my development.
4. I think the functional consultant could be able to create the report himself with the Report Printer, but he tells me he does not manage this tool so good and he wants to send SAP mails with the reports, and he say the reports created with Report Printer can not send mails. Is this true ? and then, would be easier for me to learn Report Printer and create the report myself instead to develop it ?
Does somebody can help me ? Any idea ?

Please help: Message no. M7090/Accounting data not yet maintained
To whom it may concern-
I am currently a student attending LSU working on an SAP project worth a very significant portion of our grade. The following is a detailed description of the problem, which should hopefully help you put your finger on a solution.
My problem is that when I try to hit the accept button on PP10 for a goods issue, I get an error message "Accounting data not yet maintained" (please refer to attached screenshot #1). When I click the help button, I get a vague solution (please refer to attached picture #2). I have tried and "change" my material master record for Cushion 065 by going back to MM06/create material master for trading goods (please refer to attached picture #3), but I don't have the understanding of SAP to manipulate the information at this point. It is just giving me the ability to manipulate views and it is only letting me choose the following views (please refer to attached picture #4).
Please help me find a more useful pathway so I can proceed. If whoever is helping me needs me detailed information, please let me know. Also, if someone could direct me to a user support function where I can talk to a representative in real time, I would appreciate that.

0FI_AP_4 - Delta Extraction Problem - Please help
Hi,
I activated the business content ODS 0FIAP_O03 and the relevant infosource for Accounts Payable and also did the init. In R/3 I created an Invoice using FB60 transaction and Posted the payment using F-53 transaction. I can see the document in BSAK table which the 0FI_AP_4 extractor is using but when I see the delta queue in RSA7 there are 0 records for the extractor 0FI_AP_4 which means the new changes are not pushed to the delta queue. Please help.

Try running a delta load 0FI_AP_4 using the tcode RSA3 in your R/3 system? Are you seeing your document there?
I would also check RAS7 in R/3, and to make sure the delta init has taken properly. You can also check for your document there.
