Tcode S_ALR_87012301 Report RFSUSA00 after upg ecc 605 without page break

Hi !
This G/L account balances report (Tcode S_ALR_87012301 : Report RFSUSA00 ), in version 4.6C, have a page break by the subtotals level defined at the selection screen.
Now after the upgrade with ecc 605, the output is continuous...
I checked the possibilities of changing the output layout, but didn't find anything to define a pagebreak by the 3 levels at the selection screen....
Does anyone knows if there is a solution for this?

HI,
If I understood your issue correctly then in the report S_ALR_87012085 is a field "Summarization level (0-4)" in the output controls.
You just have to set this field to the value '2'.
When you set the field to two, the page break will first executed, when the page is "full".
If you want to see information about the "Summarization level (0-4)" field, you just have to set the cursor in it, and press F1.
I believe this answer solve your problem.

Page breaks appear in the spool output of report when run in the background

Hi All,
Report is using fm 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' to display the report. parameters passed to this fm for display are :it_fieldcat,is_layout,it_events,t_outtab.
Page breaks appear in the spool output when report is run in the background.These page breaks needs to be removed. When executed in the background, the excel extract should be the same as if pulling directly from the report itself.
How to remove the page breaks in background?

Avoid page break in back ground execution of report

Hi Friends,
Normally when we execute any report in back ground it will have page break. eg: FL3N
But we dont see this in foreground execution of a report.
may i know how to avoid this page break when we execute in background.

Hi Badari,
when you set the Background Job via <b>SM36</b>, you can mention the Variant. and set the time , so that the report will run for every 5 minutes with the mentioned variant. Check it.

Set page break after a number of rows

I am trying to set the page break of a table to occur every 200 rows. By default it generates a page break once the report size grows larger than the page length. When I set the property KeepTogether = true, it no longer generates the page breaks but then I have the issue of over 2000 lines on a single page.
I created a group based on the following function:
=CInt(Ceiling(RowNumber(Nothing)/200))
I added a page break between each group instance. The first page now shows 200 lines but all remaining pages continue to page break once the length of the page has been hit (around 22 rows).

Creating report using reportpainter in ECC 6.0 version for finance

Hi Experts,
1.In my report i have to include check number from fchn into standard t code fagll03 based on document number in both tcodes
for this i don't know what i have to fill in library , report and copy from in " Report painter: create report" screen.
2.I want report painter material for ECC 6.0 version for creating finance reports because i am confused what to enter in" report" option and "copy from" option regarding my issue in ECC 6.0 version where as in 4.7 there is no such kind of option in initial screen of creating reports.
3. please guide me what necessary steps to take in my issue

You can just ignore this warning in EPC
as this FORM USER_COMMAND is always called indirectly only
But check the Output and see?

2. try your program execution
   thru SE38
   to know if there is some error in the
   program or not !
3. After running in se38,
   use the menu
   SYSTEM --> STATUS
   to confirm the screen number 1000.

CRYSTAL REPORT FOR ENTERPRISE ON ECC

Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to connect Crystal Report for Enterprise over ECC via universe as we don't have option
to connect CR4E directly to ECC.
So, I have made a universe in IDT and published it in repository.
Now, when I am using that universe in WebI Report and DashBoard then it is working fine but the same is throwing
the error while I am trying to connect with CR4E 'Failed to execute query: 'Fail to create an instance of Job : com/businessobjects/i18n/locale/BoLocale'.
The same error 'Fail to create an instance of Job : com/businessobjects/i18n/locale/BoLocale' was also coming when we try to save the IDT with Secure Connections is set to Server Middleware(Window -> Preferences->Information Design Tool ->Secured Connections ->Server Middleware).

Report against BW and ECC for reconciliation

Hello Everyone,
I would need some advice on crystal report design for a requirement where I have to use an existing query on BW to build a crystal report and then create a report on top of table in ECC and then do a reconciliation between these two data sets.
So, Once I create the crystal reports individually for each of the systems is there a way to create a third report which would allow me to do a difference between the values from two reports previously generated to do the reconciliation.

Thanks for replying back to the question. I apologize for the questions (am new to crystal reports, so am trying to get my hands around it for reconciliation report)
I created two crystal reports
1. Report on top of BW
      Fields:
         A. Company Code
         B. Vendor
         C. Local Currency
         D. Total Amount
2. Report on top of ECC
     Fields:
        A. Company Code
        B. Vendor
        C. Local Currency
        D. Total Amount (This is a formula, as I used the total amount and debit/credit indicator to get the negative sign for amount)
Once I have created these two reports,
The first question is,
            In the second report for the combination of the three characteristics mentioned above I have multiple rows, how can I aggregate them similar to BW where I have one row for a given combination.
The second question is,
            I created a third report and I used the option you mentioned earlier "Insert --> Sub-report". When I used this option I selected the first report on top of BW and inserted it into Data Field and then used the same option to insert the second report on top of ECC and inserted it in Data field below the first report.
Once I had these reports inserted, I created formula fields in the third report for the following fields
1. Company Code
2. Vendor
3. Local Currency
4. Total Amount
From here on, I am not sure how can I link the fields from the above reports to the third report and also how can I do reconciliation between these two reports.

when m trying to create a tcode for report painter through se93 its show erre for D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT parameter,m felling the parameter with the value gatting from table TKEB1,-APPLCLASS /SUBCLASS /TABNAME 23 space / REPID.error is do not use blank char. Suggest Please and please give some idea about how to copy a stand. report painter and change the Z according to client requirement.

I will suggest you to execute the transaction START_REPORT and put the report type report and ext. name. If it executes well over here then you can create a transaction using SE93
Something like this
Default value for transaction ‘START_REPORT’
In    bellow default value section insert default value
SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE      = AQ      "Parameter    indicating Abap Query
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT           = ZY_CS_ALLSLS   "Query    User group
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT= ZY_SLS_MST_001     "Query name

Please go to Confirm goods/services tab then selct the GR which you want to delete then click on delete button ..so system will post the revere GR with movement type 101...
Please go to "enter invoces and credit memos tab then select the invocie which you want cancel and then clcik on cancel button so ssytem will post the credit memo ..
We can not delete PO in SRM where in classic scenario....

Refresh Webi reports automatically after BI data loads ?

Hello,
We are about to install BOE X.1 on top of BI 701.
The idea would be that the users would perform their WebI daily reporting, but obviously only after SAP BI night batch scheduling is finished, and the BI infoproviders filled.
I've read that BOE ofers you the ability to refresh the reports upfront.
We were wondering if there is a way to easily implement this logical dependance : to refresh the Webi Report only after the end of BI data loads.
There is off course, the possibility to use an external scheduler, but we have checked the licencing and it's quite expensive.
Is there another way to do so ?

First , we create an event in the CMC and connect it to a file location
Then we schedule the document and add the file event : do you mean schedule the webi report ?
Finally create the file as part of the Bex query refresh process : how exactly do we do that, in the BI process chains ?

ACS 5.5 favorite reports dissapear after DB purge

Hi everybody,
I have an ACS 5.5 view server running 5.5 patch 4. I have quite a large deployment, so the database is purged on a regular basis.
I noticed that when I or other users create favorite reports these reports disappear after the DB purge. I can reproduce it on the view server, when I create a favorite reporte, start purge manually, after the purge is finished there is no entry any longer under favorites.
I can restore any other report, however the favorite reports that I created never show up again.
I have a test ACS where I cannot reproduce it. The size of the DB on the productive server is around 60 GB.

Description
Symptom:
Favorite Reports disappear after db purge.
Conditions:
Report is created by web gui user that is from external identity store (like AD), not created in ACS local admins.
Workaround:
Create local ACS admin user with the same username as external identity store user.
Further Problem Description:
It happens because purge job is checking the list of local ACS admins and if user that created favorite report is not found on that list, reports created by this user are being deleted.
Documentation needs to be updated on this behavior.
