Is there any Tcode to check for enterprise structure inconsistency? I think someone mentioned here but i cannot find it now.

Please use the T-code --> OVX8N for checking the consistency level of enterprise structure affiliated to SD.
Here you will have the option to check the organisation unit like Sales orgnisation, Distribution channel, Division, Sales Group, Sales Office, Plant and Shipping Point.

Compile class file, check for code structure quality

now i am trying to develop a system for my college final year project..the main function is to help the lecturer to mark the student java assignment
any way to compile the java file..just to check for the error? if got error then 0 mark..no error got mark..and then check for the code structure and so...base on that ..to decide the student mark..like if good structure 20 mark..bad? 5 mark and so.
is it possible to do so?

Checking for errors is easy, just write a script to check if javac completed successfully. You can use similar approaches (possibly needing to parse the output) for jlint/PMD/whatever to check code structure. If there's any custom checks you want to do, though, I suggest you grab a parser (possibly witgh semantic analysis; I've found the Eclipse one is rather easily extracted and is good for this stuff) and write manual checks. It might be easier to write PMD rules, but you won't have the flexibility.

Names and codes for enterprise structure

I would like to know the right procedure for giving the naming conventions for the enterprise structure. whether should crete with alpha numeric or numeric or only alphabets are also accepted.
Let point of time if we go for upgrades, will there be any problem.
Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Numeric / Alphabetical / Alphenumeric which ever is good for your client. All are supported in SAP and upgrades.
Numeric is most widely used.

Extended syntax check for include structure

Hello Everyone,
While declaring the internal table as:
TYPES: BEGIN OF t_data.
INCLUDE STRUCTURE mara.
TYPES: END OF t_data.
DATA: it_data TYPE table of t_data.
When performing extended check, i get following error:
The current ABAP command is obsolete and problematic, especially so in ABAP
Objects
Within classes and interfaces, you can only use "TYPE" to refer to ABAP Dictionary
types, not "LIKE" or "STRUCTURE".
I am using 4.7 version.
Any clue how to avoid this error during extended check.

With WAS 6.20 you should not declare internal tables with header line or using the old syntax as they are not compatible with OO ABAP.
So, you either declare a TYPE the way you have done, in case you want additional fields apart from the INCLUDE structure, or declare the table directly like the way I have shown.
Good thing, you can even specify the type of internal table that you want to create using this - STANDARD, SORTED, HASH. These tables will help you with the performance issues.

     Error in the SAP kernel.
     The current ABAP "SAPLMCEX" program had to be terminated because the

     There is an internal system error.
     eliminated with ABAP/4.
How to correct the error
     The internal system error cannot be fixed by ABAP means only.
     You may be able to find a solution in the SAP note system. If you have
     access to the SAP note system, try searching for the following terms:
      "DDIC_TYPE_INCONSISTENCY" " "
      "SAPLMCEX" or "LMCEXTOP"
I can see there is error on Table MC02M_0ITM:
Table MC02M_0ITM could not be activated (E- Field ZZUNDTSORT in table MC02M_0ITM is specified twice. Please check )
when I run the program RSDDCHECK in your system, for check the structure "MC02M_0ITM".
There is som error.
Any Idea how can I solve this kind of error. Is it some repport for help this?

Hi gurus,
I started with SP stack upgrade to 10(Install SAP EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Stack 10 with Kernel 7.20).
--First i did kernel upgrade from 701 patch 111 to 720 patch 105 which was successfull.
--Now when i tried to upgrade the stack it gives me below error:

Is Kernel upgrade to 720 really required for Support package stack upgrade ?
because information clearly states "Error in the SAP kernel" rather i would suggest to upgrade your SAP system kernel to latest of 701 patch level 150
Once you revert kernel to 701 , then try applying Support packages via client 000.

We are in ECC 6.0. After inputting plan data for GL using TCode GP12N, I am trying to run the report F.01. However the system is giving the error "Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure "FAGLPOSX"". Has anyone faced this problem before? Do I have to activate something before I start planning? Do help if you have a solution for the same.

Hi,
Solved!! I had incorrectly added EBELN in the additional fields for line item display config. This resulted in the EBELN field appearing twice in FAGLPOSX and hence the error.

How to disable checking for updates on Mac Silverlight for enterprise environment

Hi Guys,
We are trying to create a package for our enterprise environment to push the install of Silverlight for the Mac and have it not automatically check for updates.
What is the best way to do that?
I found the setting in the com.microsoft.silverlight.plist file that was in the user profile/library/preferences folder.
Is there a way to have this UpdateMode key set to the desired setting regardless of which user is logged onto the mac?

Can't you install Silverlight and the plugin for all users rather than a specific one?
I would guess/hope/expect there'd then be one plist file for everyone?

Validation check for Tcode FB10 and FB60 - FICO.

I have an issue in validation check for Tcode 'FB60' and 'FB10'.
there are two exits coded for these transactions through transaction 'GGB0'.
details for the two exits.
exit 1.
when posting a vendor invoice, the network status is checked whether it is completed or not - if status is completed error message is raised.
exit 2.
when posting vendor invoice - for G/L Account in 60000 - 69999 series network should not be posted. if posted error message is raised.
when these two exits are entered via a prerequisites in code 'KGB' a code is generated automatically to call these exits- when transaction 'FB10' 'FB60' is executed.
Issue:
for code 'FB10' is executed with network with status completed and with G/LP account in 60000 - 69999 series -
error message is raised in sequence i.e. exit 1 is raised and then exit 2 is raised.
but for code 'FB60' if condition for exit 2 is not satisfied then exit 1 message is raised.
but it should be in sequence in raising the error message i.e. exit 1 and then exit.
Even though for both the transaction the auto generated code is similar and even exits are similar - but it is execution in raising the error message is diffrent.
- Since it is auto generated code i am able to figure out the issue.
i would appreciate if any one could help me out in this issue.

Dear All,
Please guide me on how the enterprise structure should be made for the following holding and subsidiary consolidation.
Company A (Business Group)
Company B (100% subsidiary of Company A)
Company C (74% subsidiary of Company A)
Company D (100% subsidiary of Company B)
Company E (51% subsidiary of Company B)
Company F ( 100% subsidiary of Company C)
Company G (50:50 JV Between Company F and some other company outside the group)
Company H (50:50 JV Between Company D and some other company outside the group)
All the above companies are separate legal entities and need separate financial statements for external reporting.Consolidated Financial sattements needs to be drawn not only for the group but also for each holding compony and JV as per the requirements of accounting standards.

You need to define each legal entity as a Compnay code.
You need to create all these as Companies also.
The detailed share holding pattern is important only at the time of consolidation and at the time of consolidating investments.

Here the business case like this "We are implementing SAP for construction company , i have some doubt in enterprise structure becaue in construction company they don't have any perticular manufactureing Plant , there will be have different project site and these go on changeing as per the project period . 1) Each project you can consider as a plant ( where u can valuate the stock at plant level),
2) and difeerent storage locations under plants depends on your material types like ROH,HALB,ERSA,FERT...ect
3)purchase organisations like if have a contracts create one referance pur.org and if require create one more pur.org at local purchases
4)PS consultant has to create each project as WBS element ,under WBS element networks, under networs activities
5) PS-MM integration
When ever Project people requires material as per their planning, they required to accocate the material to particulat activity say if they want cement they need to allocate cement to particulat activity ,
system intern will raise PR at activity level and reservation at newwork level ( item categoty should be L in PS)
base on the PR , purchasing people can create RFQ or PO ,GR,IR Like MM standard Procedure (PR account assignment will be Q orP)
based on the resevation GI will be done (m.type 281 Q)

As SAP PM enterprise structure comprises of Company, Maintenance Planning plant & Maintenance Plant. Company will be defined in Financial Accounting. Production plant will be the maintenance plant. Seperate plant would be created as Maintenance Planning Plant. All the plants (Maintenance Planning plant & Maintenance Plant) should be assigned to the company. All the maintenance plants should be assigned to Maintenance Planning Plant. For all the Maintenance Plants, technical objects would be created.
Company --> Maintenance Planning Plant --> Maintenance Plant.
Relation between Maintenance Planning Plant & Maintenance Plant will be 1:1 or 1:n or n:1.
