Team Calendar for Parent & Child Org. Unit Display

Hi Experts, We have a requirment to show child org. unit employees which is associated with parent org. unit. When a employee is in parent org. unit he should be able to see the employees in child org. unit in the team calendar, this is the requirment. In V_PTREQ_TEAM we are maintaing 00000001 SAP Standard 01.01.1800 31.12.9999 Team View Mode View Group (MSS) ESS_LEA_EE In V_TWPC_OBJSEL    Object Selection : ESS_LEA_EE_DIR Rule for Objects :ESS_LEA_RULE1 Rule for Target Objects : ESS_LEA_RULE5 In VC_TWPC_OBJSELRULE ESS_LEA_RULE1 is for Org. Unit with evaluation path PTXSSORG ESS_LEA_RULE5 is for Person with evaluation path PTXSSDIR But I have tried here with coster evaluation path and other evaluation path, But desired result is not achieved. Do we have to use here any specific funtion module here  in VC_TWPC_OBJSELRULE. Please advise. • Process control inheritence to child org units - GRC 10.0

    Hi All,
    We created few process controls in Parent Org Unit - X. We assigned mitigation control ID and access risks to these controls along with control owners. These process controls are being used as Standard Global Controls
    We created another Child Org Unit - Y and copied the sub-process and then selected only 1 or 2 controls which are applicable to the Child Org Unit. This will allow us to use few Global controls and create local controls if required.
    Now the issue we observed that the Child Org Unit does not carry the Mit. Ctrl ID & Access Risks & Owners from the same control of Parent Org Unit. When we tried to provide the same Mit. Ctrl ID it is stating Mit. Ctrl is not UNIQUE.
    Our requirement is we would like to have the same Mit. Ctrl ID for Global Controls both at Parent & Child Org Unit and different Mit. ID for local controls at Child org unit. This will be easy to identify controls which are from Global & Local for testing and other reporting purposes.
    We understood that since we are copying the sub-process to Child Unit it is taking only Process control details, not the access control information as it is provided in Org Unit
    Can somebody please guide how to acheive the above requirement. How to inherit all the controls from Parent to Child Org unit reflecting Mit. Ctrl ID, Access Risks and Owners
    We are on PC 10.0 - SP07
    Thanks and Best Regards,

  • I have to find the 10,000 levels below the Child Org unit based on Parent o

    Hi,
    My requirements is that Use enters a Root organisation in the selection screen , based on which I have to find out and display
    the Child org units upto 10,000 levels. Can anyone pls tell me how to proceed ??.

    You can use SAP function 'RH_STRUCT_GET'with objectype = 'O', objid = provided org, evaluation path (ACT_WEGID) = 'A002', depth (ACT_TDEPTH) = 1000 .

  • Parent Child Dimension Not displaying Name value.

    I have a parent Child attribute in my dimension.  It show the correct ID value in the reports but when I change the value from the NameColumn to be something else it still only shows the ID value.
    I have an identical case in another dimension and it is working correctly.  However this dimension for some reason does not seem to work and I believe they are built the same way I must be missing something.  I have tried to show the OrgNodeID
    and tried to display the OrgNodename but neither displays all it displays is the intdimParentOrgNodeID.
    My dimension table looks something like this
    intdimOrgNodeID int Key (surreget key)
    intOrgNodeID int (Actual ID)
    intDimParentOrgNodeID
    intOrgNodeName
    In the Propertys I have set
    KeyColumns  = tbldimOrgNode.intDimParentOrgNodeID
    NameColumn = tbldimOrgNode.intOrgNodeID
    Parent-child values
    =NonLeafDataVisible
    =*(Direct)
    =
    =ParentIsBlankSelfOrMissing
    =(none)
    Ken Craig

    I have been pulling my hair out for days to find this and what I finally found that resolved this shocked me and I am still not sure why it would matter.  You can see below my table and then dimension info.  Although I agree my OrgNode ID attribute
    is really not needed in AS and could be removed.   In places where that is used we could instead rename the key column Dim OrgNode ID to OrgNode ID.    However why the key attribute must have the name column set to intOrgNodeID
    instead of just using the Key value of intdimOrgNodeID is what I am lost at.
    Outside of this parent dimension I have never seen issues with this.  I want to say sometimes in the past I have seen duplicates if I use the surreget key to display the actual ID so I have normally left that as a key and just added another attribute
    to house the actual ID, like I did below.
    Can someone explain to me this and what is the best suggested practice here.
    My table is like this
    intdimOrgNodeID int Key (surreget key)
    intOrgNodeID int (Actual ID from source and used by customers)
    intDimParentOrgNodeID (ID used for parent child (it is the Parent intOrgNodeID surreget
    key intdimOrgNodeID))
    intOrgNodeName (Source Name)
    My AS dimension is like below
    Dim OrgNode ID
    AttributeHierarchyVisible=False
    KeyColumns = tbldimOrgNode.intDimOrgNodeID (Integer)
    NameColumns= tbldimOrgNode.intDimOrgNodeID (Integer)
    OrgNode ID
    AttributeHierarchyVisible=True
    KeyColumns = tbldimOrgNode.intOrgNodeID (Integer)
    NameColumns= tbldimOrgNode.intOrgNodeID (Integer)
    OrgNode Hierarchy ID
    Usage=Parent
    AttributeHierarchyVisible=True
    KeyColumns = tbldimOrgNode.intDimParentOrgNodeID
    NameColumns= tbldimOrgNode.intOrgNodeID (WChar)
    Change I had to make was this
    Dim OrgNode ID
    From     NameColumns= tbldimOrgNode.intDimOrgNodeID (Integer)
    to
    NameColumns= tbldimOrgNode.intOrgNodeID (Integer)

  • CATS - How to enter times of an employee who works for 2 different Org Unit

    Hi,
    I am able to successfully enter times for an employee and do the approval process (CAT4) and CAT6 and I can see the records getting updated in PA30.
    Scenario :
    Employee works for 2 different Org Units and should be able to enter his time through Timesheet. Eg: Employee A spends 6 Hours working in Department B1  &  3 Hours in Dept B2.
    The Manager of B1 should only be able to approve 6 Hours of Employee A
    The Manager of B2 should only be able to approve 6 Hours of Employee A
    Can somebody help me out how this can be achieved?
    Regards,
    Mamta

    Hi Sameer,
    Thank you for the response. Yes, when I report the times for 2 different org units I would also want the cost for that employee distributed between org units.
    I tried your solution-> by entering times in CAT2 for Employee A for 2 different Cost Centers that I created.
    For Department B1 --> In CAT2 I entered   Cost center C1 :  6 Hours
    For Department B2  -->In CAT2 I entered   Cost center C2 :  4 Hours
    When I go to CAT4 and try to select the employee for approval and search the employee-A Org unit wise he is displayed only in his original Department -> B1 with 10 hours (6+4). What else do you think needs to be done?
    Is this anything to be done with Sender Receiver Cost Centers because the cost center C1,C2 that I created for Org Units B1 & B2 respectively are just Cost Centers. I dont know the difference between Costcenter and Sender Costcenter/Receiver Costcenter.
    I will try to explain the scenario again in case I was not clear :
    u2022Each employee has their home OU.  However these employees may be working with multiple OU each day or the week.  So potentially, the time sheet may have to be approved by multiple managers.

    Mamta

  • Teamviewer - All positions in Org Unit display depth between EP5 and EP6

    We are in the process of upgrading our HR Portal from Version 5 to Version 6 (SP14) and have encountered an issue with the Team viewer functionality.
    In our EP5 system when the user selects the dropdown option for 'All positions in org unit' it is picking up our Configuration limiting it to showing only 3 structure levels and when an attempt is made to display lower levels the expander changes but no more levels are shown (e.g. Expander icon changes but does not render the lower level).
    In our EP6 system when the user selects the dropdown option for 'All positions in org unit' it is ignoring the same Configuration and lets the user select down to the bottom of the organisation. This will obviously have serious performance implications and so must be corrected if we are to implement this upgrade.
    To test the situation we deployed the following par files from our EP5 system to our EP6 system and found that we achieved the required result of only allowing the configured levels to be shown:
    com.sap,pct.hcm.objectanddatprovider.par
    com.sap,pct.hcm.orgmanagementeventing.par
    com.sap,pct.hcm.teamviewer.par
    This points to an issue between these files from the EP5 version to the EP6 version.
    Has anyone else experienced an issue with how the EP6 teamviewer handles the 'All positions in Org Unit' selection, and if so can you let me know any solution you have to it?
    (Note: This selection used Eval Path MDTSBESX)

    Hello Sandeep,
    Unfortunately the only standard functionality is to change the rankings of the positions within transaction ppome. Therefore you have the buttons 'Move up in rank' and 'Move down in rank' in the overview area of the ppome. As you know if the field PRIOX in the table hrp1001 is empty, the transaction sorts the positions by OBJID. So perhaps you could create a abap program to change this standard functionality to insert values into field PRIOX for the corresponding relationship in HRP1001 that you want to sort.

  • Team Calendar for non-manager in Leave Request

    Hi ,
    It seems like only Manager can see the Team Calendar in Leave Request or others ? Can a non Manager also see the Team Calendar , so he can see who is in the office and who is out .
    Any help will be appreciated .
    Thank you .

    In the SAP standard, the evaluation path SAP_MANG is used to determine
    the root objects. This evaluation path determines root objects whose
    manager holds a chief position (please take a look at the F1
    documentation of the field "Eval.Path for Root Objects" on the detail
    screen in the view V_TWPC_V "View Definition" for further information on
    this topic).
    In your case, however, chief positions are not used and thus you'll
    need to use a different evaluation path to determine the root objects
    (e.g. WF_ORGUN) in the above-mentioned view.
    Since you are seeing in leave request application.
    You can use the report RHSTRU00
    1. The DC pcui_gp/tecl had to be deployed to J2EE engine.
    2. Note 704604 has to be implemented.
    3. The Org.Unit conif has to be correct for the employee
    4. View group has to be maintained in V_TWPC_VG.
    5. Leave req. application has to work

  • Siebel BIP Integration Objec for Parent, Child and Grand Child

    Hi,
    I 'm trying to create a one report for displaying Parent, Child and Grand Child.
    Service Request
    - Quote
    - Quote Item.
    Successfully create the BIP Integration object and generated the xml file. problem here is when trying to include the fields in BIP desktop word, not able to see the grand child fields, could see only the parent and child fileds and for grand child only 'ListOfQuoteItem' text.
    Could some one please let me know the reason for this behavoir and wherther BIP supports 3 levels.
    Is there any Out of Box Siebel report showing parent, child and grandchild.
    Thanks,
    Ravi kanth

    One Siebel Adapter Upsert operation should be sufficient to insert the parent and child. In the Integration object definition, you define the Template child instances with the Parent of Template. i.e
    You define Template first as an Integration Component and then define
    Template child instances to have a Parent as Template.

  • Org Unit Display

    How do everyone,
    I have a selection screen with the following select option:
    SELECT-OPTIONS: so_orgid   FOR p0001-ORGEH.
    This works fines and displays a pop up containing all the org. units and their

  • Orgchart org unit display order

    Hello,
    We are implementing Orgchart Accelerated.  Our customer would like to arrange the display order of organizational units based on a criteria and not alphabetically by org unit name, like it is done in the standard version of the product.
    Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Laurent

    Yes.  Are you doing this in live or staged?
    If you want to sort by a field already available in the field set then you can do this via the Administrator console (note this only allows for sorting by asc order).  To sort descending you will need to make a small change in the AppResources.xml  ... look for attribute "defaultsort=" and change from default value of asc to desc in relevant hierarchy configuration.
    If the field isn't available then doing it in live will be tricky ... doing it staged will involve extract the field you want to sort on and sorting based on this. If it is an order based on a combination of fields then previously I've added a "sort order" column and populated using SQL statements then used this in the application to sort on.

  • No data for Parent-child hierarchy column in Pivot table view

    Hi all,
    I used OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 Version.
    I drag one Parent-child hierarchy column and one measure and show result with a pivot table view.
    But when I click "+" icon to show detail level data,
    It messaged that: "*the layout of this view combined with the data,selections,drills,or prompt values chosen resulted in no data*."
    But it can show every-level data when I used table view.
    It was so strange..
    Did anybody meet this before?
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    Anne

    Hi,
    Yes, I have the same problem with pivot table for hierarchy dimension.
    If you use a normal table (not pivot) it seem to work. Unfortunatley with restrictions as normal table view have.
    Same problem still exist in 11.1.1.6.5
    I have logged a SR to Oracle about this.

    Whether its possible to transfer the characteristics values of the batch from parent materia (MOM Materials)l to Child Materials
    Edited by: Mayank MEHROTRA on Jul 30, 2010 2:19 PM

    Hi Mayank,
    We had the same issue in one project. What we did, we develped a z- transaction and program for that.
    We had child batches, for eg, 1234561,1234562,1234563,1234564. here the mother batch is 123456. so we recorded value for this mother batch in MSC1N. In developed z transaction, we had a field called "mother batch" and next two fields as "from child batch" and "to child batch". So make entry in these fields and execute. Data will be populated automatically.
    Sit with a good ABAPer, he will be able to develop the same.

  • SQL for Parent-Child Hierarchy

    Please suggest which would be best way to achieve the below logic.
    SQL to pick up parent child relationship within same table with a certain logic.
    Example:
    mod_product_number     Product_Hierarchy
    H555888     PH05678
    H888987     H555888
    H8889     H555888
    H9955     H555888
    H999999     H555888
    P6666     H999999
    P5555     H999999
    Example: I expect the rows with H8889,H9955 & P6666 & P5555 to be sub-category values value for product hierarchy H555888.
    If there are rows with H8888987 as Product_hierarchy, we will pull up those rows too for product hierarchy H555888.
    The extra condition is we drill down only on 7 character mod_prod_number not on 5 character mod_prod_number. We pull out all sub category mod_prod_number for all distinct Product hierarchy.

    You can use Hierarchical Queries
    See.. http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10592/queries003.htm

      connect by prior trim(t.mod_product_number) = trim(t.product_hierarchy);
    .     PROD          Path                    LEVEL
    1     H555888          /PH05678                1
    2       H8889          /PH05678 /H555888           2

  • Do the custom rollup member formulas work recursively for parent child dimension?

    Hi
    We have custom rollup set up for Account dimension which is parent child.
    It seems to work fine when the custom member formula refers to a base account member i.e. if the formula for MemberKey4 is (MemberKey1 + MemberKey2) then it shows the sum of the underlying members 1 and 2.
    But if the formula for MemberKey10 is (MemberKey3 + MemberKey4) then it should evaluate the value for MemberKey4 first and then add to it value for MemberKey3 to come up with final number for MemberKey10.
    Do the custom rollup work fine with the recursive calculations? Is this recursion limited to some level?
    Thanks
    Shailesh

    Hi Jorg,
    Thanks for your input.
    Actually the hierarhcy is more determined by the parent child relationship. So we cannot move the members as per the formula. And further the formulas are not always additive, there are divisions and multiplactions happening also.
    Further the calculated members (account members) are used in different places, the usage level of calculated members could be 3 in some cases i.e. MemberKey15 = (calculated using MemberKey10 = (calculated using MemberKey7 = (Calculated using MemberKey4 = (calculated using base members)))). Now inserting the base members in place of a calcuated member becomes more of string manipulation.
    And on the top of above complexity, the formulas are not static and they are more user defined, they may change between time periods, which forces us to write a dynamic procedure to translate the 'business formula' into SSAS formula. We expect the custom rollup to work as expected (i.e. if the formula contains a calculation involving the calculated member, it should resolve that first and so on) and we have written generic procedure to replace the Account Code in the 'business formula' with the accont key value with the account hierarchy char string.
    In the link http://doc.ddart.net/mssql/sql2000/html/olapdmad/agmdxadvanced_6jn7.htm for AS2000, it talks about the calculation pass deapth, it says:
    .......If a cube has custom rollup formulas or custom rollup operators, a second calculation pass is performed to handle the computations needed to calculate these features.......
    Now from the above, it is obvious that the OLAP engine will automatically go into recursion if the formula contains a cacluated member and it knows that the calculated member has to be resolved first before calculating the final formula result. The above article also talks about 'Calculation Pass Number' property in the AdvanceCube Editor (AS2000), which can be set to the value depending on the expected number of passes required in a given scenario. I don't find such an equivalent peoperty for SSAS 2005.
    Would anybody please throw some more ideas / insights on this issue?
    Jorg, thanks  again for your input...
    Shailesh
