Technical system in client SLD is not updated in master SLD

Hi,
We are running on PI 7.0. We have 2 SLDs in (system A and system B) and both the SLD's are connected with additional SLD (system C). System C' SLD dont have system B's technical system for Web AS JAVA at all and Web AS ABAP only last updated on 03/05/2009. What and where I should check on the configurations if anything is missing. System A's techincal system are being updated daily to system C's SLD.

may be you can check whether the sld data supplier is updating the data or not

Local SLD not updating a central SLD

Hi,
In my company landscape, I have
SolMan7.1 with Central SLD (Let's call this SLDA)
Portal 7.02 with local SLD (Let's call this SLDB)
ECC6
Both the Portal and ECC systems are updating SLDB, so I can see both technical systems in SLDB.
SolMan is updating SLDA, so I can see SolMan technical system in SLDA.
I linked SLDB to SLDA via
From SLDB> administration> data suppliers --> add SLDA
For this setting, I use the user SLDDSUSER, which have a role LcrInstanceWriterAll.
The problem now is SLDA does not get the data from SLDB. In SLDA, I see only the SolMan Technical System.
How often does SLDB update SLDA? Can we manually trigger an update SLDB->SDLA?
How can we troubleshoot the SLDB -> SLDA update?
What else needs to be configured other than "From SLDB> administration> data suppliers --> add SLDA" ?

yes I have done those steps. Very short and easy setup steps to link to another SLD.
OK, just one thing to confirm here.
After Add SLD, the SLD URL syntax should be http://host:port correct?
I have tried all sorts of entires for the URL
http://host:port
http://host:port/sld
http://host:port/
All not working
Checked the user, user is ok, even tried giving the user Administrator role and still not working

Not Updating in Central SLD

Hello,
Upon performing our daily system checks, one of the item is to monitor the sending of SLD data of the installed systems in the System Landscape to the Central SLD which in our case is the XI box. Four of our systems having Java stack did not update. With that, i performed the necessary steps to trigger it so that it'll update in both Web AS ABAP and Web AS Java. With regards to ABAP, i triggered and activated the system to collect and send SLD data via RZ70. As for the Java Systems, i triggered and activated it in the SLD Data Supplier in the visual admin. I performed the CIMOM test and it was a success. Furthermore, i've triggered the send SLD data. In order to check whether it worked or not, i've checked the respective local SLDs of the systems and viewed that it is updated there for both ABAP and JAVA. Furthermore, i've checked the system landscape and viewed the systems are updated for both ABAP and JAVA except for our APO system, both ABAP and JAVA as well. As another step, i reconfigured the Data supplier in the administration of the SLD of APO in order to make sure that the password of xisuper is correct or something. However, until now, it has yet to be updated.

System status NTUP (Dates are not updated)

Hi Guys,
WBS Element has the system status NTUP (Dates are not updated) the option to untick this is greyed out and it is preventing the posting of a journal.
Could you please let me know how to remove this system status.

WBS is released and there is no user status as well but besides NTUP another system status is there i.e ACPT(Order accepted) is this is causing any problem for genral postings?
Could you please also let me know how status NTUP got activated when i am checking in the change log it is not showing any name.

Two other things to try -
Power your iPad off for a minute and then back on again.
Double tap the Home button, locate the updating apps (one by one) in the bottom task bar, press on it until the red minus sign comes up and click it. Repeat for the remaining apps. Try the updates again but do them one by one rather than Update All.

AS JAVA technical system not updated/registered in SLD

We have setup the SLD bridge connection from our SLD with 7.0 SAP J2EE
server which is our local SLD to SLD with 6.40 SAP J2EE server which is the master or central SLD. Actually we have this set up, that we have configured a local SLD for our Netweaver 2004s SR2 or Netweaver 7.0 system and connect it to the central SLD which is also a Netweaver system but of lower release, Netweaver 2004 SR1.
Since Netweaver contains both ABAP and Java, I can see that our WAS ABAP technical system (of the SLD 7.0) was
succesfully registered and updated on the central SLD 6.40 but I cannot
register or update the WAS JAVA technical system (of the SLD 7.0) in the central SLD 6.40, but it can be updated in our local SLD which is then connected to the central SLD as mentioned.
Since my update for the WAS ABAP was already working and its updated
in the central SLD 6.40, what can we do to achieve the same result for the WAS
JAVA? Because if it works with WAS ABAP, what is wrong then with WAS JAVA? What might be the cause or some other configurations to be made?
Also can we synchronize the CIM updated with all the SLD? We want to
see if we can just update the CIM content of SLD 6.40 and pushed this
with the other SLD on the system e.g. SLD of 7.0.

I think you should certain configurations for your system to be listed under SAp Java systems.
1.Go to visual admin,c:\usr\sap\SID\JCxx\j2ee\admin
run go.bat.
Then go to services-----SLD Data supplier.
go to Http settins under that,enter the details of central SLD you want to connect,
hostname,http port,sld admin user and password.save it.
go to CIM client settings,enter the same details there and save.
Then check CIM client generation test.it should be sucessfull.
then trigger SLD data transfer at the top left corner.
it also should be sucessfull.
Then your system will be listed.
2.may be you have to create a role called Lcr administrator with all Lcr* actions assigned to it.
then this Lcr administrator role should be assigned to ur administrator user.

Technical System Not reporting to Master SLD

We have multiple SLDs in our landscape for each landscape. We have a Central SLD in our Solutiion Manager systems. All the SLDs are configured to transfer the data to the master SLD through the Data Bride which reports everyday.
One of the SLD reports only ABAP systems to the master SLD. I dont see any java systems reporting to the master SLD from. The other SLDs reports both ABAP and JAVA systems well. SO I am wondering what could be the reaon for not reporting only Java systems that to onlyfrom one SLD system.

Hi Mahesh,
There is a lil difference. For a double stack target system, on the ABAP side, we maintain SLD connection details in RZ70, SLDAPICUST and RFCs LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI. Likewise, in Java side of the target system, the SLD Data Supplier entry in Visual admin needs to be maintained too. This will ensure the correct functioning of SLD for both ABAP and Java stack.
Once the above configurations are maintained correctly, in SLD-> Technical systems-> dropdown WEB AS ABAP will have the ABAP entry and WEB AS java dropdown will have the Java entries.

After 10.5.4 update, mac osx system proxy client (HTTPS) does not work!!!

after 10.5.4 update (some minutes ago) i can't go on https web pages with browser safari and the other applications that uses the system proxy client (for example google notifier). i'm connecting to internet trough my macbook pro cable lan adapter into a LAN with a proxy server (before the update the mac osx system proxy client does work right).
Help me!!!

I am sorry to be simplistic, but Apple cannot possibly be responsible for Safari (or any other software product) working in every possible environment. In my business life I used several methods to seamlessly link with my corporate servers from home or on the road. In each case, it was possible, but not without the help of my excellent IT people.

Data not Updated Automatically in SLD to XI Integration Builder

I am trying to create a new software component in the SLD for use with our XI machine. However, when I do this, the component does not appear in the XI Integration Builder.
I have looked at the Automatically Updated Data page of the central SLD, and noticed that our XI J2EE system has not Auto-Updated with the SLD for quite some time, if ever.
Can somebody please give me some pointers how to sheck/configure this? Also, is there a way to update the information between the SLD and the XI system manually?

I think the problem is the system cannot actually see the SLD for some reason.
If I try to access the SLD using the DNS name, I am unable to do so:
http://dnsname:52300/sld/index.html
However, if I use the IP address direct, I can do so:
http://192.xxx.xxx.xxx:52300/sld/index.html
I notice that when I try to access the SLD from the XI start page, the link is using the http://dnsname:52300/sld/index.html form, which isn't working.
Also, when I try to Import Software Component Versions from the Integration Builder menu, I get the error:
com.sap.aii.ibrep.client.swc.ExtSwcAccessException: Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory "dnsname:52300"
So I'm thinking this may be some kind of DNS error, but I don't know how to resolve it.
Any clues?

Outlook 2007 client reacurrance calendar not updating in mailbox

Hello,
Using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007 client. User has access to a shared Calendar in Public Folder. She makes an Recurrence Appt in Public Folder and invites herself to Appt. If she changes one of the future apt (Location change or something like that) it
updates the Public Folder but not hers. I added myself to this apt and I am using Outlook 2013 and my apt does indeed update. I also can see in "Outlook Web Access" has updated, so just the Outlook 2007 client not updated.
Any thought into why? Unable to Upgrade to user to Outlook 2013 until New year for other reasons.

Please first make sure she has installed all available updates for Outlook 2007.
In addition, please have the user temporarily turn off his antivirus and test again.
If still no luck, we may try testing with a new Outlook profile. See:

I had similar issues with another dll which was not compatible with the "regi.exe". I had also the exact same problem as mentioned in this discussion but after doing the following for the "regi.exe" the "
SAPNewDBMDXProvider.dll" also disappeared. You may also try the followings considering "SAPNewDBMDXProvider.dll" as the target dll:
1. use the tool www.dependencywalker.com/ to find out exaclty which dlls are missing/not the right version/not compatible by opening the target program (SAPNewDBMDXProvider.dll)
2. find out the right dlls from the right source. In my case it was part of the windows visual c++ 2010 x64 redistributatble package. so i downloaded the package.
3. before you install the right dll make sure that you uninstall preveously installed dlls/packages with the same name. in my case i had to uninstall c++ 2008 / 2005 redistributable packages x86.
4. then install
5. do not forget to reboot your machine
6.if the problem still persists you may forcfully register the new dll by the command
regsvr32.exe "the target dll"

SCCM 2012 agent Deployed on clients SCEP in not update and shown inactive on cosole

OK, a couple of things for you. First off, if a client had not sent in Heartbeat DDR, then the console would not reflect "Yes" in the "Client" column. Yours does, so you have had at least one Heartbeat DDR received and processed by the client. If you want
to see when it was, you can view the Properties for that client, and in the Properties dialog, look at the AgentTime attribute. Very likely (always has been in my experience) it will be the very last time listed (you likely will have three or four 'agents'
that have discovered this client, and thus reported time.
The "Client Activity" column can be updated when you Refresh Client Status (on the Client Status node in the Monitoring workspace). It will happen automatically, but you can force it with this action.
Lastly, none of this has anything to do with the fact that the Endpoint Protection menu option is unavailable. I don't even have it enabled in my test site (the current snapshot that I'm testing on), and the menu item still appears. My guess there is that
you are logged on with a user that does not have rights to that action. So more likely a security issue rather than clients not reporting properly.

Client Installing, but not updating in SCCM

I have SCCM 2012 SP1. When I push out a SCCM client, to Server 2003; the client gets installed. On the 2003 Server, is shows "Configuration Manager" in Control Panel, and when I do a "Find Site" it finds
the Site just fine...
However, in SCCM it shows that the server doesn't have the client installed.
I have the correct boundary set, and BITS 2.5 installed on Server 2003.
Any reason why SCCM would say, the client isn't installed ?

This sounds a little like this machine is not correctly communicating with the MP.
Is the machine "healthy"? Patched? Firewalled?
Outbound networking from this machine, to your network (specifically where the MP resides), is otherwise ok?
Check other logs (CCM logs and general Windows logs) - I smell a rat..

SLD info not updated in Web Dynpro Content Admin of NW CE 7.1 EHP1

Hello Everyone,
I have installed the CE 7.1 on my PC and am having this problem. I have created the destinations SLD_DataSupplier and SLD_Guest in NWA and uploaded using SLD Data Supplier service. The Java WAS is now reflected in the SLD as a TS and a Datasupplier. I have also performed all the SLD Initilization and config. However the SLD is still not reflected in the Web Dynpro content admin. When I press the Check SLD Connection button all the values are blank.
Am I missing anything, Should I be doing any config in the Configtool? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

SLD-Bridge / Data Supplier Bridge and new technical systems

Hi,
The data supplier (data collection process) periodically sends data to the SLD bridge. This SLD bridge provides this information to the SLD.
My question: Will new technical systems be created(!) and updated automatically in the SLD by using SLD bridge??
Or do I have to create new technical systems allways manually by SLD browser??

I am confused of the idea of the SLD bridge. The idea sounds great to me, but how is the link between the technical systems and all these collected data passed to the SLD realized??
The online documentation is not very helpful...
