Technical system not available in Integration tab of Busines System SLD

Hi ,
I am creating a Business System in SLD(on Solution Manager) for XI system but not able to see any technical system from Integration tab of Business system.
I have already created a technical system in SLD.
Please suggest what other settings I need to check.

Hi,
Clear the cache and try again.
Go to Environment -
> Click on Clear SLD data cache.
If you still din't get then In the SLD goto technical system, in the dropdown box select your Technical system type(web as Java/....) and cleck on display, if it is there then it was created other wise it wasn't created.

Calendar not appearing in sync tab on MobileMe System Preferences

The Calendar check box is not appearing in sync tab on MobileMe System Preferences.
When I opened SP, MobileMe and sync tab, I can Calendar showing up and disappearing right away. What is this?
I am sorry if it was already discussed, but I could not find it. I can see topics about iCal bug and syncs but not specificaly this one.

Mario,
The calendar sync has been removed from the MobileMe Sync preference pane, but I have seen the problem you have described, and can invoke it by accessing the "Open MobileMe Preferences...> selction through the sync icon menu item (Option + Click):
Then I am presented with this:
The "Calendars" choice disappears when I access the sync preference directly from System Preferences.
Seems like a bug to me.

I have written an outbound client proxy for my interface . I am using XI to File Adapter scenerio .
When I run the zprogram in R3 then I get the error
System not configured as Integration Engine ...

Go to SXMB_ADM->Configuration->Integration Engine COnfiguration->Choose your R/3 system as Application System

I was trying to simulate the following scenario in SAP XI:
HTTP--> SAP XI --> (RFC/BAPI)SAP R/3
Let me clear what i did.
I have to call a BAPI using RFC adapter in XI to display some information on a request of some Http app.
1. I have Imported the RFC BAPI into IR.
2. I have created the XSD files for http Re and res messages.
3. I have created the XSLT mapping programs and put them in a zip file and imported into IR.
4. I have created a Interface mapping and assign the created messages and mapping programs.
5. In ID i have created a Business service for my web application.
6. Receiver determination created in Id and Interface determination and receiver agreement in ID and activated the changes.
7. I have tested the same by sending the request from my web application to xi plain http adapter as follows:
http://grserver:8000/sap/xi/adapter_plain?bs=XIWS_web&namespace=urn%3Axi%3Asap%3Awebapp&interface=HTTP_out&qos=BE
and in the result i have got the following error:
"System not configured as Integration Engine"
but i have tried it many times and some times it gives me correct results but after that the same error ios coming.
so can you tell me what could be wrong in the configuration of XI of what is the solution for this problem.

Hi,
What is the version of XI you are using? If u are usign XI2.0, ur URL is correct. But if you are using XI3.0 then use service=<SENDERSERVICE>instead of
bs=<SENDERSERVICE> parameter in your URL.
bs is replaced by service in XI3.0
Your URL will be http://grserver:8000/sap/xi/adapter_plain?service=XIWS_web&namespace=urn%3Axi%3Asap%3Awebapp&interface=HTTP_out&qos=BE

Source system not available error

If the error message is teling as source system not available
so what can be the reasons for that and tell me the solution also.
data cllection is incorrect
so what can i do i have checked trfc connections every thing but every thing is fine
so any body help me out in this.

Hi Vikram,
Try the below mentioned steps:
1. Check the connections on BW sysetem and R/3 system.
Use the tcodes: sm58 and sm59. On the context menu of the source system created, check the option for conections. If connections are not fine, contact the basis team
2. Go to 'source systems' select you source system and right click and select 'Repicate Data Sources' , then try replicating the the infosource for that
appilication at the top node level as a whole, the try replicating the Data source
with in your infoarea..

Z partner function not available in details tab of PCUI

Hi gurus,
I have created a Z partner function in GUI and included in the determination procedure as well as in the z transaction type for opportunity. Included in the user interface setings as well.
In the details tab(PCUI) there are only 3 standard partner functions and the z partner functions are not appearing.
Can some one explain the procedure for getting those z partner functions in PCUI details tab.
Full points will be awarded if the solution solves the problem.

If you add a Z partner function in your partner determination procedure, you will have it available in the partner tab but not on the information tab.
There is no 'customizing' way to replace the existing partner funcition (account, contact, employee) by a Z partner function or to add it.
To add it, you have to:
- create an append to the screen structure with the fields you want to display
- add coding in the read method of your MAC to display the value
- add coding in the modify method of your MAC to modify the value.
So, adding the fields in the structure is not enough. Moreover, you can add tehm in the tab linked to the screen structure but not anywhere on the application.

System not available for selection in Maintenance Optimizer

Hello,
When planning the maintenance in MOPZ I choose product version and the system displays a list of systems assigned to the Product Version. However, the list only shows one of the two systems assigned to the logical component (prod system). I have looked at the logical component in SMSY listed under SAP ERP -> SAP ECC Server -> Z_SAP ERP and both systems are listed and are "green". A Consistency Check of the logical component shows no errors.

There is no 'display filter' on the screen you are referring to, Change Management -> Maintenance Optimizer -> Create New Maintenance Transaction. This is the initial screen of the maintenance transaction where it shows the 5 steps of the maintenance transaction. The following selectable fields are available:
Priority
Short Text
Product version
When I make a selection for the product version an additional selectable table is available where I can select the systems. I should be able to see all the systems assigned to the logical component, however I only see one of the two systems.
I have checked two other Solution Manager systems and there is no 'display filter' or 'hide filter' button either.

ABAP System not available in SLD?

Hello,
We're having a very strange problem with one of our systems in that it will not register in the SLD. It is a BW 7.0 system and RZ70 and SLDAPICUST are both configured correctly and SLDCHECK shows that everything is working as expected. Yet, when you log onto the SLD, the system simply is not there in the Technical ABAP Systems. But, the Java side is working fine in that it does show up under Technical Java Systems.
Any ideas of what might be happening?

Just an update. When I try to maually register the system in the SLD, I get an error at the end that says: CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS... It sounds like it is doing the self registration, but just isn't visible for some reason.
edit - well, it appears that the process of trying to manually register the system, eventhough it failed, tweaked something such that the system is self registering now and everything appears to be normal. not sure what was going on, but things appear OK now.

System not recognising the '0x09' TAB as separator in txt file.

In recever system I have give tab separator '0x09' as the field separator but I am getting the same file in recever side also.
ex: sender

In recevier side the field separator in not working.
Can you please tell me where I am doing wrong.

Hey,
Do not copy and paste the FCC parameters from microsoft word (other editors too) because some times it contains hidden foot prints which can not be seen and they creates the problem.
Create a new CC without using copy n paste e.g. field names and use '0x09' as separator and try again.

Query in a Role transported to Q system, not available in BEx Q system.

Hello Everybody,
After going through number of posts, I could not find a solution to my query.
I've created a query, assigned it to a role. Collected the necessary objects into a BEx Tranport Request. Assigned it to the correct package. Now after the TR has been imported into BW QA system, I dont see the query in BEx BWQ (Quality System). Do I need to transport the role too, to the BW QA system again (Role already exists in BW QA as well as PR systems)

This has been reported in many threads...
This usually happens when some element of the query is not collected properly / does not get generated in the target system properly.
To correct this ..
go to RSRT and execute your query ( you should be able to find it there ) and then you will find the query in BEX.
