Terms & Conditons issue while PO printing

Hi everyone,
In transaction ME23N, while previewing the printout, For any PO with regards to the
year it was modifed i am supposed to display the Terms & Conditions text based on
that year, i had copied the standard script but now i am stuck as i do not know if i
can write a condition statement to pick up the correct text element based on the
year? or is there any other way to solve this? Would be glad if any one can share
their knowledge or ideas if they had come across similar isues earlier?

Hello Ken,
U can write the condition to call different standard texts for different years.
I think u have multiple standard texts having terms&conditions
depending on the year.
If u don't have, create standard texts.
and call them in a window based on conditions.
Just like below:
if &YEAR& = '2008'
INCLUDE Z110_US_AVIS_TEXT1 OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
endif.

I have a user who has all the administrative rights and also the rights for purchasing. When he tries to take print outs of GRPO, the system gives a message that the user is not permitted to do this action. Also, the user has full authorisations for the print preferences?? Can anyone plesae suggest me how to handle this?? We are on SAP 2005 B PL 26.

Thanks for the reply. I checked it and the user has full authorization for the same. But there is no such option for printing in purchase?? How do i handle this now ? Also Jeyakanthan, when i give full authorization to the user, he can take print outs. The moment i give selective authorizations, the problem arises.

Issue while printing to A4 from Xerox J75 (fiery) through Mac OSX 10.9.3.

I've encountered an issue while printing to A4 from Xerox J75 (fiery) through Mac OSX 10.9.3.
The document and printer settings are set for A4 but the print job goes to the printer as A3.
The problem only occurs while printing through Adobe Photoshop CS6.

I get into trouble if I choose A4 borderless instead of A4 in the Photoshop Print settings.
There, Tray 2 is dimmed out
To be honest, I don't see borderless in your settings, but my doing that on my printer causes a default to the larger Tray 1.
That's all I have tonight. If I think of anything else, I'll post it. Here's thread on this issue as well.
Wrong paper size sent to the printer

Issue while Printing Barcode

Hi All,
We have an issue while printing Barcode from SAp script.
We are using the barcode BC_C128B with font HELVE 10. We can see proper length of bar code
in print preview but when we take the print of the Bar code the dimensions of Bar code get doubled.
Could you please provide some expert inputs?

Use SE73 and change the font in the barcode as per your requirement , if this barcode is used in any other programs then copy this barcode to Y or Z name and change according to your need and use it in your program

Oracle fusion Middleware 11g -- forms issue while hitting url

we are facing one issue while hitting the url mentioned below

FRM-92052:fatal error: cannot connect to the server at URL /forms/lservlet
here in the above CRMS_KR.htm we have hard-coded all the parameters value that in other case is read from formsweb.cfg
whereas if we hit the same CRMS_KR.htm renaming it to basejpi.htm and hitting below url then its opening our home page i.e our test.fmx called from this .htm file

Below line in CRMS_KR.htm was causing the problem because while directly hitting the CRMS_KR.htm we had hard-coded all the tag values which in other case is read from formweb.cfg

Issue while exporting report in PDF using crystal report XI

Hello,
I am facing issue while exporting a report to PDF through crystal report XI. Reports are generating properly in the crystal report browser but when I am exporting the reports in PDF or trying to get print by clicking on print button, reports not generating properly.
Allignment in the exported PDF reports getting changed and reports margin is also changes. Due to this some part of report is chopped and printed on the next page.
I have deployed my application on IBM WebSphere 6.1 server and I am getting following error which might help to identify this issue.

The stack trace is caused by whitespace in your CrystalReportViewer.jsp file. Look up SAP Note 1199025 for the resolution.
It's not related to the PDF formatting issue. There's been changes to the formatting with the most recent version - Crystal Reports for Eclipse 2.0 - so if you haven't already, I recommend you upgrade.
Note that there's differences in font metric calculation when using Adobe PDF format such that there's no way to get exact agreement between output of the CR and PDF. But the latest version helps greatly.

Follow the steps below and check if that resolve the issue:
1. Open Mcafee software, from the Virus and Spyware Protection section click on Schedule and run scans. Click on Real time scanning and then on Turn Off. select till I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the Turn Off button.
Now try reinstalling the HP Software and check if the installation goes as expected.
If the issue persists continue following the next steps below:
2. Open the run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir% and click on OK.
3. Type hpoins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
4. Type hpwins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
5. Launch the Run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER into the Run dialog and click on OK.
6. Launch the Run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER into the Run dialog and click on OK.
7. Run the installation file and check for any difference.

10.9.2 Update Issue (VPN) - Eclipse Perl debugger issues while connected to VPN

I have yet another issue related to 10.9.2 update - Eclipse Perl debugger issues while connected to VPN...
One of the big changes introduced by 10.9.2 update - are VPN changes (security fixes). Unfortunately, whatever these changes are - they "broke" Eclipse (OpenSource IDE) debugger. I am not sure if *all* programming languages (Eclipse plugins) are affected by this, but I know for sure that 'Epic' (Perl plugin) debugger *stopped working* while system is connected through VPN.
Here is the error that gets “popped-up” in the Eclipse:

I was able to prove that this issue is related to 10.9.2 update:
Issue *does not* exist under 10.9.1 (I had to revert back to 10.9.1 to get it working again)
No updates were performed around the same time 10.9.2 update occurred (I verified that using Software Update log)
No configuration changes were introduced around the same time
Reverting back to 10.9.1 using Time Machine (thanks god I had backup !!!) fixed the issue
Steps to reproduce this issue:
In Eclipse, try to use 'Epic' (Perl plugin) to debug any perl script while *not* connected through VPNEpic debugger works
Connect to VPN
Start Epic debugger to debug same script
Debugger *does not* start, and "Timed out while waiting for Perl debugger connection" error pop-up comes up after some time. At the same time, exception stack (listed above) is printed in Eclipse's console
I am programmer/software developer, I work remotely (telecommute) and thus have to rely on use of VPN to connect to company's intranet. Perl - is primary language used by my team, and we use Eclipse IDE with Epic plugin - heavily. Use of Epic's debugger - is a *very large* aspect of my work, I cannot work without it. So in essense, 10.9.2 has *entirely* disrupted my ability to work! It took me almost a week to get back to normal work environment, and I cannot afford to let it happen again... I need Apple's development team resolve this VPN related issue, as soon as possible! Because of this issue, I am *stuck* with 10.9.1 and can not upgrade my laptop to any other versions. In fact, I had to disable system updates - just so I do not run into this issue again... I contacted Apple's Tech Support on 02/28 with this issue (Ref: 582428110), asking to raise trouble ticket. Since then, I tried to follow-up on that issue, but do not get any information. Please advise on the status:
is there a trouble ticket to track this issue?
is there any progress?
what's the ETA for an update that fixes this problem?

Issue while starting AdminSerever using wlst commands

Hi, I am facing issue while trying to start the AdminServer and Managed Server via nodemanager using wlst commands. I have installelled WebLogic 11g on windows 2008 R2. Mentioned below are the steps that I followed:
1) In Nodemanager.properties files I set following parameters to true. I did this, so that nodemanager can start the server in case of crash.
CrashRecoveryEnabled=true
StartScriptEnabled=true
2) started nodemanager and then started AdminServer from the command prompt as follows:
nmConnect('weblogic','password','10.23.226.58','5556','IMDomain','E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\IMDomain','ssl')
nmStart('AdminServer')
I dont see any errors but it seems the AdminServer do Not start properly as in the cmd window I don't see any 'started successfully' message - the message remains as *"Starting AdminServer..."*
However in the adminServer logs I see that the status is Running (refer logs at the end) and I can also see it as Running in weblogic console.
I really didnt care if its not giving a success message in cmd window but the problem occurs when I start the managedServer. After starting the managed server in about 10 minutes, there is a stuck thread. (I guess it is 10 mins because Stuck Thread MaxTime value is 600).
If I set StartScriptEnabled=false, and start by directly running the startweblogic.cmd then it works fine.
I am struggling with this for last 1 week, appreciate any help.

Wild char and smily coming while Check Printing

Hello Experts,
I am facing an issue while printing check and payment advise using custom program and form copying from standard RFFOUS_C.
Smily and arrow getting printed in the actual print but not coming in print priview. Can any one please let me know how to remove these type of wild char ???

Hi friend,
I am saying that some junk values may be added either from your code or from the printer when you are executing.
Because you say till the print preview its correct so no problem with the Form.
During conversion from print preview to hard copy there many be any values added just try using and program which had run fine and see if the error is same then its problem with you printer.
Else it may be the problem with your program.
Some times these type of wild characters may printing if the conversion doesn't take place correctly. As # display in the Chinese language. So check using one or two programs and verify it.
If you face issues after that please revert back to me i will help you.

No database version of course. Unimportant.
If I recall correctly, it is 'integer external ' and you would best double quoting the alphanumerics (which you didn't ).
Try changing integer in integer external in the ctl file.

ISSUE with accessing Printer on the DMZ !!

Hi,
We are facing issues while accesing the printer in the DMZ interface from inside interface.The issue is happening when we are adding a printer to a new desktop. The printer is added via print server.The issue started happening after the server team has implemented authentication PIN for printing.The printer gets added but while giving print ,it is giving error as print driver not found.We have checked printing after removing the PIN and it works fine.I am getting the following error logs from firewall.Can somebody help on this ???

Mujeeb,
Based on the syslog you post we are getting a Reset from the internal device, the FW is just closing the connection becuase it got a reset packet; this will be the normal behaviour of the ASA.
If you want to dig deeper on the issue you can place captures on the ASA and confirm the source mac-address/IP address of the reset packet.

We followed steps mentioned in for integration. WE have two SoA instances, home, oc4j_soa.

SSO Issues while opening a ppt file document only from Solution Manager

Version - Solman 3.1
Issue

While trying to open a Powerpoint(ppt) file document, from the service provided by Solution Manager thru a weblink:
1.A SSO authentication request of the server pops up requesting to authenticate Windows userid/password
2.After entering the windows password the first time..authentication is requested again..At times on the second chance of authentication, the request is successfull and the powerpoint document opens.. But we have faced issues wherein the issues had persisted for 5-6 chances and only then the ppt document opens.
3.Point to be noted is that even if the SSO authentication of the windows password is cancelled even the first chance the document opens..
4.Issue is only with powerpoint document and not with word document..
Going by point 3.. there is no relevance of the windows authentication to popup since authenticating or not authenticating doesn't matter.
Issue unknown is why is that whenever only a ppt document from Solman is being opened does the SSO Windows authentication window of Solman server opens.. Is there any settings to be considered..

2) Post the code for a program that opens a text file with the following in it:
hello world
and prints the contents out using System.out.println().
3) Modify the program in 2) to determine if the file contains the word "yes". Post the code.
4) An html file is no different than the text file in 2).
