Text in Mail list is cut off

Using MacBook Pro, OS10.7. The bottom of text is cut off in Mail list. An example is included.

Why should I start a new thread if this one was never resolved and I am still having the same problem?
ANYWAY,
I was able to fix this by finding an answer on a different forum.
Simply increase the text leading using the text format option, like so:
var format:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
format.leading = 2;
field_txt.defaultTextFormat=format;

  • Text to the right is cut off on print/preview of web pages

    To the WebMaster's of oracle.com
I' still like to print out information from your web site about hot topics (like your recent articles about BPEL), so a long flight will get more interesting..
However the text to the right is cut off when printing (using IE6 on WinXP). It seems that the formatting requires a minimum width.
I would also prefer to see the "print view" link at the top of an article and not at the bottom.
    With best regards from Germany,
    Stefan

Stefan....this problem sometimes occurs with articles containing wide code samples. Can you please provide the specific problem URLs?
We are aware that the "Print View" functionality is less visible than it could be; unfortunately, moving it to the top of the page isn't as straightforward as it seems. We're working on it.
    Cheers, OTN
This problem should now be fixed in the three BPEL Cookbook installments.

  • Text inside the portlet is cutting off

I have a process portlets and the text inside the portlet is cutting off. For example, instead of displaying the name of the process "Certificate of good standing" I get "Certificate of Goo..." How can I make the text wrap or show the full project name. I try placing the portlet in a full page, but it's still dose not fix it. Anyone know where it can be change?

Here is the solution that I got from puspendu
    And it worked:
From your question , I am assuming you are using the ALIP version of the BPM. The portlets UI are designed to only display that many characters for the application name and display the full name as html title field.
If you really want to change you can go to the application.jsff file under ptjsp folder and change to display the applicaiton.name instead of applicaiton.shortname.

  • Text in Dynamic Textfield gets cut off

    Hi
I have a dynamic text field which is just one line of text.
For some reason letters like g or p that go below the regular
line of text get cut off.
I have made the field bigger, and also played around with the
_height Property but it doesn't make a difference.
I have imported the font into the Library. When I embed it
the font doesn't cut off but looks very different. And if I change
the field to a static field it doesn't cut off either, but the font
looks a little different as well.
    Any ideas?

  • Why does Large text in a Form get cut off at the top when I save it as a PDF

Hi. I've created a form in Acrobat with 2 text fields. I set the size to 40pt and 30pts using Helvetica. When I fill out the form and save-as a PDF the text displays as cut off at the top.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Making the text fields MUCH larger than the font.
Changing fonts. I've tried Helvetica, Verdana, Arial
    Selecting Multi-line
Does anyone know how I can keep it from cutting off? The only solution I've been able to find thus far is reducing the font size significantly, which is not an option.
    THANKS!

I'm using Acrbat Pro version 10.1.4
The text looks perfect in Acrobat. I'm choosing File > Save As from Acrobat and then when I open it with Preview or Reader it cut's off the text.
    Thanks for your help.

  • ICal 1.5.5 To Do lists get cut off

    Hi:
I may be one of the last to still be using iCal 1.5.5 (G4 10.3.9 -- haven't found a good enough reason to update). I want to print the calendar with the To Do lists, but they keep getting cut off the bottom. My lists are too long -- +too much to do!+
I tried using the 'Scale' function in the page setup menu, but that had no effect on the outcome. I thought I did that once before, maybe I didn't. Either way, it didn't work.
Search after search finds nothing -- just more frustration. How could Apple have created something that won't print all the information? It doesn't even go to a second page?!
Any and all help sure would be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!
    Robert

I do not have a problem on the view I have on ical on my screen. I am trying to get it to print exactly what I have configured for my view.
You could have ical delete them X number of days after completion. I want to keep track of all the to do items - I just want to be able to print out a to do list that doesn't have all my completed items on it. Of course, I might want that later.
I want the print job to reflect the view I have configured at that time for the screen.

  • Hyperlink Dialog box in a list being cut off

So the image is what I'm seeing when I try to edit a cell in the URL column. The left is being cutoff and the cutoff line, while it may not be that clear from the pic, is in fact the left side of the browser window. It doesn't matter what browser you use
or what zoom level the page is set to. It is cutoff all the time.
It appears to be a bug in Sharepoint but I don't know how to report it or what I could do to fix it.

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that when you edit a hyperlink column in quick edit model, its Dialog box is cut off.
But by my test, the hyperlink Dialog box in quick edit is working fine:
Is there any custom style for your page layout? If so, please verify its "overflow" property.

  • Dropdown list is cut off in reporting service (SharePoint Integration Mode)

We have a report running in SharePoint integration mode and we have a set of parameters. But the last parameter (near the bottom of the browser) with drop down list cannot be displayed completely.
    Kevin Li

    Hi KevinLi,
According to your description, the last parameter in your parameter drop down list is not completed displayed. Right?
In Reporting Services, when having too many available values which will exceed the report parameter drop down list area, it suppose to generate scrolling bar for selecting. In this scenario, it seems those available values just end at the bottom of
the browser and exceed a little bit. But it can't trigger generating scrolling bar. However, it think you can select the last value successfully. So it doesn't effect your using too much. If you really need to display all values in parameter drop
down list, you can try to change the resolution of your screen.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
    Best Regards,

  • Mac Mail message content cutting off half way through

Hi - For only a few of my clients - when i send an email and add a pdf to it, the recipient only sees part of the message and not all the way down to my email signature. It appears to be when a pdf is added, anything after its placement gets chucked off - any ideas?? Only for a few clients though. The message appear in its entirety in my sent folder. Thanks

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • Calendar ordering issues (cut-off text)

I have a calendar that I have successfully ordered and received in the recent past.
Two more recent orders for the same calendar have given rise to messages from "print services" that they cannot print the calendar because of cut-off text.
There is no cut off text in the calendar but when I do a print preview I see that each month is cut off (Janu.., Febr ..., etc.) and the year does not appear as it does on the versions I have already received.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Can anyone from Apple tell me what to do? I don't seem to be able to act on this part of the text.

    Christopher:
Try clearing out the iPhoto cache folder inside your User/Library/Caches folder. See if that will help.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Spry menu link text cut off in IE8

I have built a website in Dreamweaver using a horizontal spry menu bar. The site works everywhere when I tested it in all browsers on several different computers. However, when someone else checked it on their computer, the text on the links is cut off. Like where the link says Neurosurgery, it bumps up against the edge of that link and cuts off half of the word. The shorter text links aren't cut off, but they aren't centered. They are using IE 8, which I checked it on and it worked fine on my computer. Turns out his computer isn't the only one doing this, but I can't seem to replicate the problem on my computer even though we are using the same browser. I have had him clear his cache and it hasn't helped. The site is kyneurosurgery.com. I included a photo of what the text is doing on the other computer. I'm not sure how to even begin trying to fix the problem since I can't see it on my computer.

    How to Get Help Quickly
This is a user-to-user forum. Unless you see EMPLOYEE under a screen name, you should assume the poster is an upaid volunteer. Everyone's time is valuable, including yours. The following tips will help you get answers more quickly:
    DO
Check the Dreamweaver FAQ. The answer to your question might already be there.
Give your post a meaningful subject line, indicating of the nature of the problem.
Give sufficient details (such as operating system, browser, hardware platform, and other relevant information) for others to understand the nature of the problem, but don't go overboard. Short, focused questions tend to get answered more quickly.
If your problem concerns a web page that doesn't display as expected, upload the page to a public website and give the URL. But don't post links to anything you don't want indexed by a search engine. Create a test folder on the site, and remove the page when the problem has been solved.
Give details of any error messages.
Say briefly what you have done to try to solve the problem yourself.
If your question involves a database or server-side technology, such as PHP, ColdFusion, or ASP, say which one, and include it in the subject line.
    DON'T
Don't post a series of questions in a single post. Splitting them into separate threads increases your chances of a quick answer.
Don't repeat the same question in different forums, as this makes it harder for both you and those trying to help you to keep track of progress. Duplicate posts will be deleted.
When someone has answered your question, don't start asking more questions in the same thread. Keeping threads separate with clear subject lines makes it easier for others who might have the same problem to find the information they need.
Don't be impatient. If you don't get an answer in 24 hours, post a follow-up question in the same thread, asking if you need to give more details. The lack of replies might also indicate that no one else knows the answer.\
Don't hijack existing topics by replying with unrelated questions or suggestions. Start a new discussion thread so your question stands out.
When your question has been answered
If you started the thread, buttons like those in the following screenshot will appear at the bottom of each reply. Use these buttons to indicate that you have been helped or that you have received a satisfactory answer. You can choose up to two answers as "helpful" and one as "correct". Once selected, you cannot change your mind. Marking answers like this helps others identify solutions to their own problems.

  • E-mail messages cut-off

e-mail format has been changed recently resulting in e-mail messages being cut-off on right side of message. Has anyone else
experienced this problem and if so, what is the fix.

I am a new user of Verizon Webmail and wondered why the print is microscopic.  I have "older" eyes and it's about impossible for me to read many of the emails I receive.  In addition the messages are completely cut off on the right side of the screen and I don't know how to fix that.  I hate to say it, but I am missing my Comcast Webmail more each day although it may simply be that I knew what I could do there and have no clue on Verizon's site.  Can't seem to find a way to make the print large enough to read easily and I'm getting tired of the "nose prints" on the screen from having to get so close.

  • Notes cut off when printing, issue with margins

When I print a slide with notes, the notes complete cover the width of the page, flush left and right. My printer cuts the margins automatically (not a bleed), so those portions of the text in the notes gets cut off.
Any way to control the margins, left and right, when printing notes from Keynote?

Keynote print layout is a bit of a mess, and is well commented on by users, it prints differently than previous versions, eg  in handouts the slide image is much smaller than previously, in grid, the slides are off the printable area on the left.
We are hoping this is fixed in the round of scheduled updates.

  • Excel 2007 Converted to PDF cuts off information

I am using Acrobat 8.1 and I am having trouble converting the information from Excel 2007. Some of the text in the cells are cut off on the ends. Is there some kind of tweak to stop this? Thanks

Select the Adobe PDF printer in the print menu. Then go through the Excel file. Excel (like WORD) reflows the document to best fit the printer. In this case you are apparently outside the printing range of the Adobe PDF printer. You may have to reduce the font size.

  • Mac windows cut off files at right hand edge

In most apps, I choose to open a window to look for a file.
After about two or three steps down in the hierarchy (I'm at 1440x900 monitor resolution) I have to drag to expand the window or the rightmost file list is cut off by the edge of the window.
Why doesn't the window scroll as you progress down through nested folders, so the contents of your most recently inspected folder are completey visible?
Is this a bug, a "feature" of the OS or a setting that I can change somewhere?
iMac G5 Mac OS X (10.4.5) minimal RAM (512MB) installed

Okay, the problem transpires to be one with OSX. If you see this problem then the solution is quite simple
    ============
The OS X version of Lightroom (the app itself) has a bug with rendering panels that causes interior content to sometimes overextend the width of the column. It doesn't happen all the time, but it will happen from time to time.
To fix the issue, hover over the vertical divider between the work area and the panels, click, hold, and expand the panels all the way to the left until you stop. Then quit/relaunch Lightroom. The panel content should reset and be back in view.
