Je dois intégrer des textes en arabe littéraire et en hébreu sur des documents Illustrator et InDesign.
Impossible de trouver une police compatible.
Je suis obligée de vectoriser mon texte en passant par un pdf.
Du coup je ne peux pas utiliser les outils textes habituels : paragraphe, taille de typo, etc...
Comment faire ?

2. Install Oracle Forms with Arabic Language supplement
3. In forms, set the item level properties in the International section as desired.
4. When running the form, set the keyboard state to type in Arabic.
Above all, the database must be using a characterset that supports Arabic

How to display long text in Arabic quickly Flash Builder ?

I have prepared an application for Android in Adobe Flash Builder. In application there are prayers in Arabic as a list. In app , short prayers are displaying quickly, but long prayers are displaying after a long time. This is my problem.
I share my project file in addition.Can anybody help me, please?
Note: I used SQLite database in my project as you can see and I used a font to view prayers in Arabic.

Delcare a table and getting the LONG TEXT is not the right way of doing this.
You create a TEXT object and change the TYPE to INCLUDE TEXT. Once that is done all you have to do specify the parameters of your long text - TEXT ID, TEXT OBJECT and TEXT NAME. These are the same parameters that you use for READ_TEXT funciton. You don't have to fetch the text manually, it happens automatically.
Make sure this is a part of the main window as this might run into multiple pages.

Standard Text in Arabic

i have created one standard text in S010 transaction using language code 'AR' . i.e
Arabic. In design mode is showing properly but when i am previewing it.
it is showing me transvere characters means last character is comming at the first place and same is
apparing sequentially.
For example :
Original text in design mode : abcd
Changed text in preview mode : dcbd.

For Arabic texts, you have to change the Character Set to "Arabic(Right-Justified)". In any of the SAP Screens, You can set it by clicking the last button in the standard tool bar. Or You can use Alt+F12.
There go to option Chartacter Set and then set it as "Arabic(Right-Justified)". Usually we will log in to our systems with West Europian(Latin-1). But, their default settings are different compared to us. So, for the checking the output, logon to the system using AR and then change the character set.....

Having trouble saving text from Arabic-script PDFs

I have several PDFs created using different versions of the PDF format with text that uses the Arabic script (i.e. Arabic, Farsi, etc.) All I need is to save the text properly into something like a Unicode text file, an RTF or a DOC file, or something similar. I use Adobe Acrobat Std ver 7 and often get error messages or the text that is saved is corrupted. What components/fonts/software/etc do I need to install on my machine to do this properly? While the operation that I need - "Save as ..." - is pretty basic, the variety of PDF documents I have is pretty wide in terms of when and how they were created, what languages they contain etc. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I actually did observe exactly that in a couple of cases, i.e. "copy & paste" worked when "save as" did not. Do you know what is fundamentally different between these two operations? Also, if I am willing to lose all formatting and just get pure text (I am thinking of "pure text" as a UTF8 or UTF16 byte stream), does this make my life any easier? Finally, how can I find out which font I have problems with when I "save as" and get garbage? E.g. if I open the PDF file in a text editor, where is the detailed font info?

Crystal Reports text in Arabic not exporting to PDF properly

Dear All
We use crystal reports XI developer edition along with Oracle 10G. The reports bring data from oracle which is in Arabic. The report works fine, displays the data in the viewer as desired, however when the user exports the report to PDF, the arabic text becomes jumbled.
I am not sure where the problem lies. Can anyone help me fix this issue.

Problem in translation of english text into arabic language

Hello Everybody,
Application:
I had developed an applciation which needs to be run in both EN / AR languages.
In the applIcation I am using POPUP_TO_CONFIRM FM for confirmation before exiting from a screen.
I am using a TEXT-ELEMENT for the text of tht FM , I had translated the text in that text element into
Arabic successfully.
Query:
When i am looged in through arabic lang , if the screen direction is LTR (Left to right) then
the text in the pop up was displaying properly in arabic.
but if the screen direction is from RTL (Right to left) then the text in the pop up is coming in a special symbols like ... or weird symbols. I am not understanding why?
Could any body give suggestion regarding this .

Mirror Imaging Text (RTL arabic-style languages)

Hi,
I have an odd requirement, to be able to display text typed into a purchase order or sales order and display it on the smartform as it's mirror image.
The background is our Arabic smartforms need to display English as well as Arabic. Arabic only is not a problem and works, SAP displays all text in it's correct right to left (RTL) format. English only also work, text is displayed left to right (LTR) but to produce a smartform with both is a problem. We have gotten around it so far by turning off the RTL function in Arabic smartforms and hard-coding the titles in Arabic as mirror images of themselves.
But now, the business wants user to manually type some text into purchase or sales order and this text is to appear on the smartform. This text will be in Arabic and needs to be displayed RTL as a mirror image of itself. So, the business has asked me to write a function module which accepts text strings and converts them into mirror images of themselves.
I have to admit I'm stumped - 8 years of ABAP and I've never been asked to do this before.
Any suggestions?

Text in Arabic - Periods at "start" of phrase (right justified) instead of at the end (left)

Hey guys, so I'm using CC and I'm trying to copy text from a word document written in arabic. I havethe preferences set to Indic and it is written correctly (from right to left). The only problem is the periods are showing up at the beginning of the sentences instead of the end. Any thoughts?

Yes it most likely is the 3px jog.
My advice is if youre designing a 'static' site (as this is) it is best to use floats instead of margins to position containers.
Floating the left and right column will work just fine and provide a more stable contruction.
To test if it is the 3px jog take 3px away from the width of the right column.
If you dont want to float google '3px jog' for a solution, there are several.

Apple start page text in arabic

when i open safari for some reason the apple start page has started to display the text of the apple stories in a font that looks like arabic.
the rest of the fonts eg. itune top songs, are all normal english

Make sure you dump the fonts Helvetica Fractions and Times Phonetic if you have them.

I'm not sure why you've got:
ctx_ddl.set_attribute('mylex', 'index_stems', '8');It should be
ctx_ddl.set_attribute('mylex', 'index_stems', 'YES');Arabic stemming in auto_lexer DOES work. I've successfully tested it in a PHP environment.
It's not easy to do in SQL*Plus due to character set issues. It may be that what you think you're putting into the database is not what the stemmer thinks is in there.
If "docs" is a VARCHAR2 column, then do:
"select dump(docs) from test"
and make sure that the characters you get back (in decimal form) are what you would expect given your character set settings.
Also, no stemmer is perfect. They will not contain all possible stems for every word. Make sure you run your test with a variety of terms. I can't read Arabic, so have no idea of the terms you're using.
You can look at the tokens in your index table as follows. To find all tokens with their token_type (generally, 0 for normal words, 9 for stems) do:
select token_type, token_text, dump(token_text) from eq_test.dr$index_test$ii order by token_text;and to get just the stems:
select token_type, token_text, dump(token_text) from eq_test.dr$index_test$i
       where token_type = 9
       and token_text not in

so how can i do to have a result all the girl with name فاطمة and فاطمه

Have you try to use CONTAINS with a logical operator (AND), here is the sample code for your reference:
SELECT * FROM fulltexttable where contains(*,N'حليمة AND حليمه', LANGUAGE 1025)

DIsplaying arabic text on UI

I need to know how can we set the localization for any device so that it can display text in arabic without the use of unicodes.
Actually currently i read unicodes & then display the arabic data. I want that these unicodes should not be used so that when i read arabic data from any server i display them on the UI as it is.
Please let me know if this is possible. If not please provide me with some solution.

For properties files you don't actually have a choice, they support only 8859-1 (this is probably the most commonly asked question on this forum).
Having the characters represented as ASCII escaped Unicode does not mean that you cannot read the files, however. A number of editors render them just fine. For instance, UniRed and SC Unipad.
