  • How do I save browser and download history with timestamps?

    I want to be able to have access to and be able to export all my browser and download history on Firefox with timestamps. From the looks of it, Firefox doesn't place permanent time-stamps on browser history, and begins removing download data from the main download window after it reaches a certain volume. I'm mainly interested in knowing whether I can retrieve and export history and/or download data which is months old for forensic reasons. Basically, I just want to have a day-by-day breakdown of the sites I visited over the last year on Firefox instead of a month-by-month one and '6 months or older' pile.
    It would be nice if someone could clarify whether or not Firefox supports or can be made to support any of this, and if months-old browser history still has original time data associated with it that I can use to categorize it day-by-day.

    You can open the downloads.sqlite file in a program or extension that can handle SQLite database files.
    * SQLite Manager: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/sqlite-manager/
    # Open Profile Directory -> XXX.sqlite -> Go
    # Hit the Execute SQL tab
    # Use a Select like this:
    <pre><nowiki>SELECT datetime(startTime/1000000,'unixepoch') AS startTime,name,source AS url,target,currBytes AS bytes,((endTime-startTime)/1e6) AS time,currBytes/((endTime-startTime)/1e6) AS speed,mimeType
    FROM moz_downloads
    ORDER By startTime DESC
    </nowiki></pre>
    If you need more (or less) data then add open the XXX table to see the names of the available columns and add them to (or remove them from) the SELECT line separated by commas.

  • Problem with Timestamp

    Hi
    I am using Oracle 10.1.0.4. When I am storing events with the received
    timestamps, it stores in GMT. But I am calling the stored procedure
    with timestamp in IST. Similarly when I search for that using IST, It
    returns the results matching the corresponding GMT. If I search 6.30 AM
    IST, It returns results for 1.00 AM.
    Appreciate your help

    What kind of timestamp datatype?
    How are timestamps "received" and stored?
    Time zone settings (sessions and database)?
    SQL> drop table tider;
    Table dropped.
    SQL> create table tider (t1 timestamp with time zone, t2 timestamp with local time zone);
    Table created.
    SQL> select sessiontimezone from dual;
    SESSIONTIMEZONE
    -05:00
    SQL> insert into tider values ('1-jul-6 1:0:0 pm','1-jul-6 1:0:0 pm');
    1 row created.
    SQL> select * from tider;
    T1
    T2
    01-JUL-06 01.00.00.000000 PM -05:00
    01-JUL-06 01.00.00.000000 PM
    SQL> alter session set time_zone='Europe/Stockholm';
    Session altered.
    SQL> select * from tider where t1='1-jul-6 8:0:0 pm CET';
    T1
    T2
    01-JUL-06 01.00.00.000000 PM -05:00

    /Originally, I had just the one function with VARCHAR2 arguments. This failed to work properly because when dates were passed in, the automatic conversion to VARCHAR2 was dropping the timestamp. So, I added a 2nd function with DATE arguments. Then I started getting "too many declarations of is_same exist" error when passing TIMESTAMPs. This made no sense to me, so even though Oracle's documentation says you cannot do it, I created a 3rd version of the function, to handle TIMESTAMPS explicitly. Surprisingly, it works fine. But then I noticed it didn't work with TIMESTAMP with TIME ZONEs. Hence, the fourth version of the function. Oracle's docs say that if your arguments are of the same type family, you cannot create an overloaded function, but as the example above shows, this is very wrong.
    Lastly, just for grins, I created the two number functions, one with NUMBER, the other with REAL, and even these are allowed - they compile. But then at run time, it fails. I'm really confused.
    Here is the apparently incorrect Oracle documentation on the matter: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B12037_01/appdev.101/b10807/08_subs.htm (see overloading subprogram names), and here are the various types and their families: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e17126/predefined.htm.

    >
    That is because when you pass a TIMESTAMP Oracle cannot determine whether to implicitly convert it to VARCHAR2 and use your first function or implicitly convert it to DATE and use your second function. Hence the 'too many declarations' exist error.

    Possibly because of another 'too many declarations' error? Because now there would be THREE possible implicit conversions that could be done.

    I think the documentation, for the 'date' family, is wrong as you suggest. For INTEGER and REAL the issue is that those are ANSI data types and are really the same Oracle datatype; they are more like 'aliases' than different datatypes.
    See the SQL Language doc
    >
    ANSI, DB2, and SQL/DS Datatypes
    SQL statements that create tables and clusters can also use ANSI datatypes and datatypes from the IBM products SQL/DS and DB2. Oracle recognizes the ANSI or IBM datatype name that differs from the Oracle Database datatype name. It converts the datatype to the equivalent Oracle datatype, records the Oracle datatype as the name of the column datatype, and stores the column data in the Oracle datatype based on the conversions shown in the tables that follow.

  • Xy -Graph with timestamp

    Hi forum,
    i need help again. I have a .csv file from labview where the first row is a timestamp:
    08/10/201423:45:53.871
     the other rows are floating data.
    I would like to read this data and plot it with timestamp on the x-Axis. How i could do this in labview.

     Hi Martin,
    sorry for delay, but next time you should save your VI in LV2011…
    See this:
    - read in the text file and convert to array of strings
    - get columns (instead of rows!) and convert each column depending on its datatype to timestamp and float
    - plot data on XY graph
    You went wrong on
    - the format specifier for SpreadsheetStringToArray
    - indexing rows instead of columns
    - the whole process of data conversion: after converting to float you convert back to string to finally (trying) to convert back to timestamp…

  • Select not working with Timestamp

    Hi all
    I am badly stuck with a problem related to Date-Time.I have easily inserted a record in oracle DB with date time,so I used Timestamp.Problem comes if I retrieve the record with Timestamp again.I don't know where I am wrong.FYI I used preparedStatement.setTimestamp().
    On other hand,just for testing, if I add the record with date only then I am able to get the record back using preparedStatement.setDate().But I want the solution with time.
    Is there anyone to raise hand?
    For more,the data type is Date in Oracle.I checked the long value of time before inserting & retrieving record is same
    Thanks in advance

    In your example, what type of object is myDate?
    BTW: I almost always use TO_DATE with my PreparedStatements, but your right you don't and shouldn't have to. Looks like this:
    SELECT * FROM MYTABLE WHERE COLDATE = TO_DATE(?,'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')
    Then I would use a
    setString(1,'2003-11-01 23:59:59')
    This method is certainly not portable but it has always worked for me. However, it is probably more appropriate to use setTimeStamp.

  • Save the o/p of the query in Application Server, Filename with Timestamp

    Dear Experts,
    I have a scenario that on 1st of every month, a query needs to execute and save the output of that query in Application Server, Filename along with Timestamp.
    For ex: Production_19/09/2011
    So, I Created a Query Extract in RSCRM_REPORT and gave the path name and scheduled. The output of the query is saved successfully in Application Server.
    But I need Timestamp along with Filename.
    Please help me out with the timestamp issues, how could I include Timestamp with Filename (Query Name).
    Thanks,
    SAP BI

    Hi chaith,
    You can achieve the result with out any code. You have to use the APD concept to extract the query to a file.
    check the following link which help you to create a logical path
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/60e86545-9940-2d10-9f89-eb5bce1f9228?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
    you can use the path in the APD.

  • Internal error with timestamp columns

    Hi
    i have a table in which there's a TIMESTAMP column whenever i try to create a form on this table i cannot choose the columns in form builder data block wizard.
    Or even when i try to modify a form which was created before the columns were added.
    it generates this error.

    i tried this with forms9i & forms6i, same thing with both.
    is it impossible to develope forms on a table having a timestamp column??? or is there another way?
    Any help is REALLY apreciated.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Tony G.

    No the with timestamp types are not supported. Forms does supplort multiple timezones, but uses normal datatime fields mapping to dates in the DB. The Forms server then takes care of mapping the Client Time to the Database time and visa versa.

  • How to export iPhoto Album in iMAC and have similar folder structure(with Timestamps) which can be viewed in finder

    How to export iPhoto Album in iMAC and have similar folder structure(with Timestamps) which can be viewed in finder
    In simple terms, I wanted to view the photos in Windows system, similar strcture of iPhotos

    If you want to copy all of your photos to a Windows machine and have them in folders representing the iPhoto Events the were in quickly and easily just do the following:
    1  - open the library with the Finder as shown in this screenshot:
    2 - COPY the Originals/Masters folder to the Desktop.
    3 - copy the Originals/Masters folder to the Windows machine.
    This will give you all of your original image file in their Event folder on the Windows machine.
    NOTE:  With iPhoto 8 or newer the Event folders in the Masters folder will be titled by date (EXIF) if imported from a camera.  If imported from a folder the event folder will have the same title as the source folder.  If imported singularly or in a group without a folder the title will be a date, either the EXIF date or import date.
    With iPhoto 7 (08) and earlier the Event folders in the Originals folder will have the same title as the Event has in the library.
    This method would be quicker but not provide the additional metadata you might have added in iPhoto like keywords, titles, descriptions that exporting out of iPhoto with Format=JPEG and the checkboxes selected to include keywords, titles, places, etc, checked.

  • Calculation XML signature value with timestamp

    I know how to calculate a signature value based on the elment "SignedInfo" in a xml document.
    The problem is when a timstamp is used, hash value is also added to the signedinfo, but the calculation of the signature value is not the signature of that element, there is an extra calculation with that timestamp. Does anyone know the algorythm with timestamp?

    If you are trying to add a timestamp to your document, put it into a SignatureProperty and include the property for the signautre calculation; see here for an example: XML dsig: Can I sign a SignatureProperty of the Signature?
    If you are trying to do something else, you need to elaborate.

  • Update Oracle with timestamp

    How do I go about updating oracle DB table with timestamp from XI using JDBC receiver?

    Hi SSG,
    1) Generate a string in message mapping for the datetimestamp. You could also do this in the SQL statement by using the oracle SYSDATE function.
    2) In the JDBC receiver channel SQL statement you have 2 choices:
    - If the string is in the default datetimestamp format for your oracle DB, then you can insert it directly.
    - Use the to_date function to convert the string to an Oracle date. I'd recommend this approach. Here's some documentation for this function:

    I think your query would delete all the duplicate records. Keeping one, I just want to delete mutiple records with timestamp : 11:59:59.
    DELETE FROM loan_txn
    WHERE rowid != (
                     SELECT  MIN(rowid)
                       FROM  loan_txn
                       WHERE txn_date = TO_DATE('03/31/2011 11:59:59 PM','MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM')
                         AND code = 'R'
        AND txn_date = TO_DATE('03/31/2011 11:59:59 PM','MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM')
        AND code = 'R'
