The auto-brightness of my iPhone is not working, and my system is really unstable. What is Apple going to do about those bugs?

I would like to know when Apple will fix these terrible bugs of the last software updates. My phone isn't working properly. I'm considering the idea of getting another smartphone...

If your system is unstable, you should consider restoring your device through itunes to get a fresh version of the operating system.
If your auto-brightness isn't working, it's possible that there is an issue with your phone's ambient light sensor which is hardware and not affected by an iOS update
Are you using a case? if so, it's possible that you're using one that was made for an iPhone 4 instead of a 4S which has an ambient light sensor that is a few millimeters to the left, so some iPhone 4 cases could cover it slightly, causing the ambient light sensor to not work as affectively

If you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to rest the passcode during this process:

There is an issue with Photoshop specifically related to recent updates in which causes the licensing to revert to trial after a certain number of launches (typically 2-3).
The current workarounds are to either:
- Sign in with your Adobe ID again every few launches
- Uninstall Photoshop CS6 and then reinstall it but don't install any of the updates
The issue with the updates is planned to be fixed in the coming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No, they will give you a refurbished (but basically a brand-new) iPod touch in the same color. I have the Silver as well...sort of kicking myself for not waiting for the Blue one to come back in stock.

Probably not, but if you are travelling in different countries, do you have the international roaming feature enabled and have you added this feature with your carrier so that you are able to use your phone abroad?
If not, then you would need to do this before using your phone in Europe.

If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.

Most of your purchases content can be downloaded again via the Purchased tabs in each of the store. I realize that this will be a problem for the iTunes Store on the iPad, but that has nothing to do with apps, since apps are in the App Store.
If you backed up synced with iTunes before you restored the iPad, your content should be in iTunes on your Mac and you should be able to sync it back again.
