The behavior of aggregation of target version

Hi,
New to use Target version. I wonder whether any different behavior of aggregation for target version in comparison to bottom up version?

Hi,
There is no difference whatsoever in terms of aggregation. However, if you wish to keep target values in parents unchanged after aggregation, you should place SET AGGMISSG OFF; on top of your business rule.

    Well, "File access permission denied" claims for an authorization problem . I suggest you double check file attributes in the project directory: it could be that you have downloaded this example from a CD and the read-only attribute has not been cleared.
    The library does not reside in the example folder: as you can see by selecting View >> Show full pathnames in the project window, it should be in ....CVI\sdk\lib folder.

    Hello,
    CM2012 R2 RTM on Server2012 R2 RTM with SQL2012 SP1
    installed SQL, WSUS and then CM.
    When finished adding WSUS, there was a post installation message but I skipped it and continued to CM installation, as suggested on some blogs. WSUS in CM seems to be a real mystery... and there are multiple workarounds and suggestions. 
    Now my CM is ready to GO. Configured discovery, boundaries. All components appear green OK. My hand shaked when I click on post Deployment message related to WSUS in server manager. So I clicked it. And received: Post Deployment Failed. There is
    a path to log file. The error:
    Fatal Error: The schema version of the database is from a newer version of WSUS
    than currently installed.  You must either patch your WSUS server to at least
    that version or drop the database. WSUS was installed with SQL DB.
    What do you suggest?

    1. I uninstalled WSUS, removed DB, restarted. And reinstall WSUS again. This time MS Management Console of WSUS could not be started. I did it after WSUS was added following your blog pix.
    I checked c:\program files\update services, there were couple of missing directories by comparison what was in case when I installed WSUS after SQL but before CM: Tools, Shema, and another A.. something. I saw this issue on NOOB. And people copied these
    directories from previous installation.
    How we can explain this behavior on RTM version?
    Then I uninstalled it again. And give another try... Here I found another interesting thing. Please compare your slide number 5 from your link and attached one. You can see that on Add Roles and Features Wizard page are missing items. Some
    of them were found in next screen of my installation (I am using RTM server) but one API and Power shell  cmdlets were not listed on final screen before start install. May be those are note important...
    I reinstall again... and the MS Management Console fails again. Exactly the same thing that I saw during 2 weeks of trying to make works. Don't see what I can screw up here.
    What about missing directories after reinstalling WSUS. Is that normal? And in IIS there is no WSUS.
    I don't see here any difficult thing, just simple wizard... But it not works. Second CM server.
    What I do wrong here to create a failure of MMC. There is any blog with examples of RTM Server 2012 and CM RTM. All stuff is 2012. So kind of guesses and no precise thing to do...
    Sorry for my cry :). The only solution is to call MS and pay $250 for SUCH a trivial thing that not works.

  • Adobe not rendering the current timeline, but a cached version?

    Hello!
    This is driving me up the wall, and costing me a great deal of time, so any help would be appreciated.  Inside my Adobe Premiere project I have a referenced composition from Adobe After Effects. Every now and then I need to tweak the After Effect composition, and when I do the changes instantly show up in Adobe Premiere. This is the behavior I am looking for. When I export everything out to Adobe Encoder for my final render, sometimes the changes don't show up and I end up with an older version of the file. It's as if there is a cashed version someplace that isn't being cleared. Any advice?
    Using Creative Cloud 64bit fully updated on a Windows 7 workstation.

  • Change to earlier target version and question on combs

    Is there a way to change the target version of a form without rebuilding it?
    I built some forms targeted at Acrobat 8 because of features used (combs mostly) but the client needs Acrobat 7 compliance (government IT policy).
    Also, I tried out the combs in Reader 7 and they seemed to work ok - does anyone know why they're not supposed to be version 7 compliant?

    Under the File Menu/Form Properties in the Defaults Tab you can set a target version. If you have added features to the form that are beyond this target version you will see warnings in the Warnings/Report palette. To activate this palette click on Report under the Window menu.
    I am going from memory here so the story may not be 100% correct but you will get the idea.
    The UI to add the comb to the form was added in Designer 8. The xfa grammar (the part that describes the comb in the xml template) has been available from the beginning. So the interpretation of the grammar to the comb is OK. Previous to version 8 of Designer you had to code the xml by hand (hence the term it is not supported). Make sure you test it but I am sure that it will behave the way you want.

    I take it you are talking about planning, process management is for "Bottom Up Versions"
    From the docs
    "Target versions use top-down budgeting. *Manage Process Tasks are not allowed*, and children of target members must be blank (for example, #MISSING) to enable data input at the top level."

  • Setting Target Version in Designer ES Not Working

    I am using LiveCycle Designer ES and I save the form target version to Acrobat and Adobe Reader 8.0 or later. However, whenever I open the form in Acrobat I receive the JavaScript Warning Window telling me that "The PDF form requires a new version of Adobe Acrobat....". However it opens in Reader perfectly fine.
    Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks.<br /><br />Designer generates a PDF version 1.7 for the target versions 8.0 and 8.1. Acrobat is able to tell the difference from the xfa template version. So an xfa template version of 2.5 is 8.0 compatible while 2.6 is 8.1 compatible.<br /><br />The xfa template of your form is 2.6 therefore Acrobat thinks its an 8.1 compatible form.<br /><br /><template xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-template/2.1/" xmlns="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-template/2.6/"><br /><br />The xfa template is set based on the target version. However, it will be bumped up if the form contains features not supported by the target version. So to fix your problem, you need to find out which xfa 2.6 feature the form is using and disable it.     I have CS3 and after I chose a color with the eye dropper tool, the filler fills in a grayer version of the color for some reason. Everything was fine till I accidentally picked the color sampler tool instead of the eye dropper tool. I undid that, but then after that everything with the regular eye dropper tool and the fill tool got messed up. How can I fix it?

    Sorry, I am new to the forum, and a novice with not much knowledge about computers. Sorry if some terms that I use here may not be entirely correct, as I am ignorant of terms of the trade. My Operating system is Mac 10.6.8. I am using Photoshop 10.0.1. I am doing a many layered color RGB setting artwork from scanned and photo images, 8 bits/channel. I have been working on this project for a month without any problems. I was using the eye dropper tool. I selected a color in my artwork and it showed up in the background color box, in the tools window, as a match from the sample that I had taken. Then I selected an area, with the lasso tool, and I accidentally picked the tool called "color sample tool", that puts a little target on the sample area and then a box pops up with numbers that move when the tool moves. That wasn't what I wanted, so I got out of there and chose the eye dropper, I selected the color, it looked good in the box in the tools window, but then when I went up to the fill command and chose fill ( which was set at 100%). I filled the selection, but it was not the color I chose that is in box, it was a grayed and lightened version of the one that I chose. I checked the layers setting and the opacity and fill were at 100%, as was the fill setting. I can't figure out what is making it not fill in the color that is chosen in the tools color window. Does anyone on this forum have an idea of what might be happening and how to fix it?

  • Invalid/unnecessary CORR documents created when copying to target version

    we recently discovered a large amount of inexplicable and unnecessary CORR documents in our target system V110. This is the summary of my investigation:
    Invalid CORR journals:
    In our foreign currency companies, the system creates reversing and non-reversing CORR journals in the target system V110 after the copy task
    ran. The journals contain unexplicable amounts and posts to items and
    ttypes that were not used in the source system V100. This creates
    incorrect values in the target system. Does anybody know what is causing the creation of
    those CORR journals and how can they be stopped?
    Unnecessary CORR journals:
    The system posts a reversing CORR journal in the target system due to a
    difference between the source and target system. But even when the
    difference is corrected in the source system it still continues to post
    the CORR journal each month as reversing indefinately. Does anybody know why the
    system is posting this CORR journal as reversing instead of non-reversing
    and how can we stop those CORR journals from being posted after the
    correction the the source system is done?

    I saw these CORR records many times during copy process.
    One of the explanations:
    Copying into Another Group Currency
    To copy into another group currency, enter a currency translation method in Customizing for the copy method that is to use a rounding method. When performing a copy task, the system carries out the currency translation specified in the copy method.
    The copy task consists of the following steps:
           1.      Read source data
           2.      Execute mapping (if defined)
           3.      Execute the BAdI (if defined)
           4.      Currency translation and rounding according to the currency translation method
           5.      Write target data in the target version
    When totals data is copied, rounding differences can cause additional data rows. When documents are copied, additional document line items can be created.
    If you periodically copy data (that is not accumulated), you can create the opening balances by copying the associated totals records one time only using the nonperiodic copy function .
    If you copy the totals records cumulatively and copy documents at the same time, the system behaves as follows:
    ●      Totals records and documents are translated separately. However, documents are always translated periodically.
    ●      Then the system compares the translated totals records with the sum of the translated documents. Here, the translation of totals records takes precedence.
    If a difference is found, the system creates a correction document. The document text denotes that this is a correction document. The correction document is also listed in the copy task log.
    When data is translated into another group currency, the copy task log shows the following in addition to the ordinary information:
    ●      In the source data section: the group currency key of the source version
    ●      Error messages generated during currency translation
    ●      In the target data section: rounding differences
    ●      Correction documents (if created)

    What should i do to support version 4.0 or later PDF .

    You will see that XFA Specification 2.0 was draft for Acrobat 6 and only became fully supported as XFA Specification 2.2 in Acrobat 7.
    It relates to XML forms, which as far as I can see, did not exist in that format before XFA Specification 2.0.

    I created forms with javascript, which it manipulate the form base upon users selection on different drop downs. I have set the form target version to "Acrobat and Adobe Reader 7.0.5 and above" but there are user using Adobe Reader 7.0.9 and 7.1.0 are experiencing problems. The form were either not working properly or unable to save their data. I did enabled "Extended Features on Adobe Reader" on Acrobat Pro 9. I tried to set target version to "Acrobat and Adobe Reader 6.0.2 and above" but the form will not work at all. The form works fine on Adobe Reader 8 and 9. Thanks in advance.

    I just have another user experiencing problems. I double checked their Adobe Reader version, which is 7.0.9. The issue they are having is that they can load, fill and save form fine but when they edit the saved form, they can't. Do you have any idea why they couldn't edit the saved form even I have already enable that feature?

    You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
    Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
    Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
    You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
    Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
    Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.2 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
    Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
    Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
    Once opened and saved in Pages 5.2 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
    Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
    All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
    Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
    Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

    Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

    I have discovered that my question above is a non-question. A user triggered by looking at the below article about Illustrator 2014 cc 17.0.2

    He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
    le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
    I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

    I clicked the brush tool, then clicked on color swatch that brought me to the colors and clicked OL... but not able to get the color I need.

    Well if I follow him, he creates an Exposure Adjustment Layer.
    Then he cranks up the Exposure, lightening the entire body, which he does not want. It's only the head.
    So leaving the Exposure set to where he put it, he selects that adjustment layer, clicks on that white thumbnail mask first, then paints
    using the brush and black. What this does is "hides" or Masks the exposure effect where he paints, it doesn't paint the picture black.
    He finds having to "mask" the entire body a lot of work. So he changes the mask to black by inverting it, and changes the swatch to white.
    Then being sure the black mask thumbnail is selected, he paints the head with the white color, punching a hole in the mask so the exposure setting comes through on the face.
    Does that make sense?
