The middle crease with a shadow between two columns

Hi,
I'm looking at ibooks and see a middle crease with a shadow, like it's a book. How do I put that in my book? Now there's nothing there.
The crease makes it look more like a book.

There is no standard for something you do yourself. I don't understand your obesssion with 'standards'...must be a translation thing.
If you're asking what do most people use...most people use what they like. Consider that you've already noted that other people use something you found attractive. Either follow their example or make something up that suits your fancy. Ring bound....laces....leather stitching...old world treasure map clone...off world...neon....gross in the extreme....blood noodles....vines....old laces...new laces....worms.....coffin nails....inverted RPG creased alpha shadows...go nuts.

Problem with config sync between two CSM-S modules

I have a problem with config sync between two CSM-S modules.
I am using CSM-S software version 2.1(8).
The acitve module is used in a 6509 with WS-SUP720-BASE supervisor running software version 12.2(18)SXF12a.
The standby module is used in a 6509-V with VS-S720-10G supervisor (no VSS setup) running software version 12.2(33)SXI3.
Failover seems to work fine:

The last log message on standby device seems to be correct - there is no CSM configuration after the attempted config sync.
Our configuration includes about 3500 lines and it is really uncomfortable to keep in sync manually.
Maybe someone has the same problem?

I am running into the exact same issue. Upon further investigation I've discovered that this is a known bug, CSCtd09117. You can read more about it here: http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCtd09117 . Apparently this is fixed in ver 12.2(32.8.11)SX323 .
I haven't had a chance to upgrade yet, so I can't verify the fix, but if it works for you please let me know.

some nice coding here, I'm still amazed with what some people can do with "connect by". But I agree with some statements here that this can take "time", and to be honest, it's funny to see it working, but if you do not have a computer, just a calendar and some paper, would you go for "counting" so there must be a better solution?
The best working math in here is done by Aketi Jyuuzou, who writes so good English that I wonder why he still insists that he doesn't ;-)

I believe that if you edit any song information (Name, Artist, Album, etc.), iTunes refuses to edit the actual file (but keeps a cache record of the changes). If you "Compile iTunes Library" (see below), it will make a change to the duplicate file it creates, and keeps record of the ratings as well.
To compile your iTunes library, go to the "iTunes" option, and select Library... >> Organize Library... and select "Consolidate Files". This will duplicate your files, and move the duplicates to the iTunes Music Folder (organized by artist and such). You can then copy and move this file to your iMac.

You should be able to use COUNTIF where the range is th first column and the condition is the word in the second column. If the result is greater than zero then the word is in both columns.

I need to retrieve the a set of rows in between two rows from a table.

consider employees table and primary key employee_id.
With out using EMPLOYEE_ID column in the where clause or between clause, I need to get the records between 104 and 116 or a set of records between two rows.
Can any one help me in this... i know this is simple but am just a fresher to oracle development... help me grow....

Problem with replicated partitioning between two BSO db's. version 9.3.0.1

Hi there,
I have a problem with partitioning between two BSO db’s.
I created the partition, it validates and I made an export for the partion definiton(xml file).
Everything is fine if I set this partition up as transparent partition.
This means I can see the data from the src in the trg db as ecpected.
But when I change over to replicated (what in fact I want to do) nothing happens for the trg site - there are still no data. (Yes I have choosen Update all cells.)
I got no error in any way neither AAS nor in the app logs of src and trg.
(Mayby this it important: one src-dimension is mapped to void for the trg.)
Can anyone give me a hint or even confirm this behaviour ?

It sounds like you are doing it all correctly. One thing you might try just to be sure you are not getting any data in the target database is the following:
1) clear the target database
2) Run the replication for all cells
3) Run an export of all data on the target database
See if you get anything in the export file, maybe you are getting some of the data or possibly it is a rollup issue. Just a thought.

I cannot able to use Excel Macro functionality since it is a drill down report and report cells varies based upon the selection parameter.
and also i can't able to use Calculation, since this report contains lot of columns and if i use the formula, one more result column i have to include in all key figures and also business users not able to understand the report....
Is it possible to create a variable structure, for example user is executing for 10 days , the structure should display for only 10 days ans also i create structure for 31 days (ie one month)..

BC4J Objects with PKs based on two columns using multiple sequences

I have implemented a BC4J object that is based on a DB table that has two columns as the primary key. For example Table A's primary key is Group and ID and there is a DB sequence for each Group.
I use the BC4J object using servlets and JSPs and I have been able to implement an Update form.
I now want to implement a Create (New) form. I've read forum postings and info on the help regarding using the SequenceImpl class to override the EntityImpl object's create method as shown below:

But as you can see I need to know the value of the group attribute before I can get the next value sequence:

I would like to put this code in the Entity Object where it belongs. I guess my problem is simply how to create a new row in the View Object with a passed parameter which is the value of Group.

How is the EO suppose to receive the group id? Is it from the view row? If so, the VO can pass that group id to the EO through the attribute list and calling the
public Row createAndInitRow(AttributeList nvp);
API.
Example code would be:
ViewObject myVO;
// myVO is initialized
AttributeList nvp = new oracle.jbo.NameValuePairs();
// GroupID is the attr name of the Group ID
nvp.setAttribute("GroupID", <some-value>);
Row row = myVO.createAndInitRow(nvp);
If you do that the create(AttributeList attributeList) method of the EO will receive the GroupID value coming from the VO.
Then, you can use that for your sequence.

Foreign Key join between two columns in a dimension to one column in Fact

I have a requirement to join two columns in a Dimension to the same column in the fact.
My reports contains columns from this dimension and will need to use both the joins to get the correct values. So I am not sure if I create an alias to join the second column, if that will be output incorrect values.
How can we achieve this so that I can still use columns from the dimension and still run both the joins in my SQL eventually.

Column2
Fact
Column 3
Need to map Column1--->Column 3 and Column2 -----> Column 3

The possible scenarios are:
1) Column1--->Column 3 and Column2 -----> Column 3
Both Column1 and Column2 have their own logical tables in BMM
2)
Column1--->Column 3
Column1--->Column2
In this case You have Logical table with 2 different sources Column1 and Column2 using column mapping.
you can go for multiple logical sources in this case, based on column selection tables in the join condition
