The problem of table range.....?

HI ALL~
I use Jheadstart 9.0.5.1.9 & JSP.
I set the LayoutStyle==>table and table range size==>30.
When I navigate page one(1th~30th records),it show correct data in table. but the data in table doesn't correct after I navigate several next page,it not refresh and the data is old~
How to resolve the problem?

Hmm, this is strange. Does this also occur in the Oil demo? It should not matter what the table range size is.
Maybe the old data are still in your browser's cache. Can you try changing the browser settings so that it does not use the cache anymore (temporarily) and deleting everything that is in the cache now? You can also try using a different kind of browser, if you have one.

Well if this output is from SQL Navigator then I suggest you ask on an SQL Navigator forum what their output means.
As for tuning "select * from employees" I can tell you it will do a full table scan and performance cannot be improved for such a statement.

Hi,
Using SPACE against the keys (LAUFI, LAUFD - specifically LAUFD) will most likely return no results. LAUFD, being one of the keys and the date which the program is supposed to run (considering that this is settlement data - it has already run) - implies that this field will be populated. Putting " = SPACE" in your where clause is saying that you want to find records from the table where those fields are not populated. That is fine for LAUFI, considering it is the indicator for a proposal only. In my requirement, my client did not want to see proposals but only real payment runs - therefore, LAUFI = SPACE is correct.
The reason you are having poor performance while selecting form this table is because it is a cluster table like bseg. This thread explains a little bit of why cluster tables are a performance nightmare when trying to select - although it is about bseg, you will get the idea:

Keyboard is the problem not table

hello camickr,
the example is right in its own way. I got the stopCellEditing method. I think I have not communicated the problem properly.
the problem is that even if I use this method I know what to do (return false ) what I need is actually trapping the tab key and not allowing the focus to shift to another cell.
I don't want to stop editing but actually disallow the focus to shift. it would be nice if some one could give me the idea of blocking the tab key rather then how to use the methods of cell editor.

Why are you creating a new posting? Reply to the original posting. Its called a conversation. Nobody else in the forum has any idea what you are talking about or what you are referring to because they don't know the context of your other postings. Thats why I linked back to your original posting in your second last posting.
I don't want to stop editing but actually disallow the focus to shift.And that is exactly the way the example code works that I gave you. It does not allow you to tab to a different cell or click on a different cell until you enter valid data in the current cell or escape from the current cell.
I think I have not communicated the problem properly.A picture is worth a thousand words which is why I always post simple exectable code that you can test.

Dynamically changing af:table range navigation

I have a requirement of changing range navigation on another variable "items per page" on the table.
1. User can select any number of items to be displayed at a time on page from a drop down with values 10,20,30 etc.
2. I have a valueChangeEvent Bound to this drop down to set the table rows.

and i select 20, the display is still displaying the last six records. Only if i click "previous 10" on the table, do i get
20 records and the range navigation for the table disappears.
How can i control this?
1.I mean to always display number of records as selected by the user irrespective of which range of
records he is seeing.
2.To display correct value in "previous" and "next" navigation controls depending on value selected by user from dropdown

Hi,
Please try to analyze your tables once with DBA's help.
If the above does not work, try to use hints which will force use the index created on the column.
Do not use any conversion functions on that column, in the where clause while checking any condition.
If you are storing numbers in a character column, try to have the conditional value as character value in where clause instead of number type.

Problem with Table control lines

This is the problem with table control lines:
I have screen with table control and I would like change the table control lines dynamicaly.
Exp:
In my PBO the Internal table which I am using to loop the TC is havig 7 records and its displayed with 7 records, now I have added one more record into my ITAB and now ITAB is having 8 records, when I am looping this ITAB with TC its taking the TC lines 7 only.
here is the code:
Initial values in gt_scr400 = 8
Initial values in tc_scr400 = 8
Now added one more recor into gt_scr400 , now gt_scr400 = 9.
LOOP AT   gt_scr400
       INTO wa_scr400
       WITH CONTROL tc_scr400
       CURSOR tc_scr400-current_line.
ENDLOOP.
I have used this logic :
DESCRIBE TABLE gt_scr400 LINES g_rec_300 .
tc_scr300-lines = g_rec_300.
but its not modifying the lines in my table control.
How to change the TC lines based on ITAB total records.

there is a field in TableViewName-xxx
don't remember the exact field name for (total no of records)
you can check it in debug. when you add records in Internal table, u need to modify this field which is set at the first time when table control is populated.

How to display table range navigation bar at the bottom of the tr table i

While I am using trinidad, I have to face a critical issue. Can I display table range navigation bar at the bottom of the <tr table> in Trinidad? and remove the range dropdown list, only show the "previous" and "next" link? The project is critical on the UI, this problem is very small but has to be fixed? Does anyone have any ideas？

Message mapping problem: BAPI with range table parameters

I try to call the BAPI_ALM_ORDERHEAD_GET_LIST in a 4.70 system via RFC connector. The configuration already works with another BAPI. With this here I get message mapping exception:

(How can I switch the trace language to English easily? I try to translate:

But the mapping test tool in the Integration Builder Design does not report any warning or error.
My guess is that the problem lies in the parameter structure of the BAPI_ALM_ORDERHEAD_GET_LIST: I have to fill the IT_RANGES selection range table, so it looks as if I need several instances of the item in the corresponding XML. Can I use "Duplicate tree" in the mapping editor? Here I got another exception?

Hi Udo,
you gave the final hint, indeed I used a XML file that was not evidently not compliant to the message type I created (even though it had been validated by Altova XMLspy).
From now onwards I only use the "Create instance" function of the test tool to create the XML body of my test messages...

Problem in refreshing the data of the UI element Table

Hi Experts,
I am having a problem.
I have a screen which displays list of variants in table ( variant name , variant desc )
I am binding the entries of table in WDDOINIT method.
but when i go back to selection screen view and come back to display variants view, WDDOINIT is not triggering.
Now if i move the code written in WDDOINIT method to WDDOMODIFYVIEW method, its not retaining the lead selection as the binding happens on every server round trip. if i check with First_time = 'X'. its same as that of having it in WDDOINIT method.
How do i overcome this problem of refreshing the table data.
any clue is highly appreciated.

Here I have a Problem regarding the creation of Table using CSS.
In My Application i have a table with multiple rows(Rows are Dynamically added to the table).First i am setting the table with the following properties:
width:900px;
height : auto,
Overflow : visible,
Max-height: : 200px.
If I use above properties,I'm getting a table with 5 or 6 rows(height upto 200px).After that i am getting the Vertical ScrollBar.
The problem is when a table has many columns, Vertical and Horizontal Scrolls are coming at the time of setting the table. The table height is not Increasing dynamically.
How can i use "height" property in CSS? (I want the table height to be increased when the columns are more.)

Is this correct? I can export the movie from iMovie in a m4v format, but I think I need to convert this to iso format before I can burn the disc.
I know there are programs like TOAST that will do this, but it is expensive.

Burn will not do what you want, and there is no real substutute for iDVD.
Why is there no iDVD on my new Mac?
Apple insists that the entire world has access to fast broadband (and are prepared to pay for the considerable bandwidth usage) and wants to distribute home movies to friends and relatives via download (iCloud, YouTube, Facebook, whatever) rather than mailing them a DVD. Whilst Macs with a Superdrive continue to be able to burn video DVDs, the software for so doing, iDVD, is no longer included in the iLife bundle that came with OS 10.7 Lion (which also omitted iWeb) or that comes with OS 10.8 Mountain Lion. Ok,i ha d checked my code by using your logic and giving the run time error ......
i had debugged my code (orignal onementioned in above thread with little modification) in which i am able to see that finaloutput (intrenal table) is getting filled properly and the problem arises when the cursor comes to the write statement ... it is repeating some of the values when output is displayed where as before displaying output this iternal table is having the correct data. i am using the following code :-

Why encounter the problem when i create a table

I want to make a news release application,therefore i have to create tables,firstly,i have created a categories table:
just like :
category_id(number)
category_name(varchar2);
secondly,i created the second table which is for storing the news contents,so i created the second table news,just like below:
news_id(number)
category_name(varchar2)----this column is refered from the categories table
news_title(varchar2)
news_content(Blob)
news_editor(varchar2)
release_time(timestamp);
there comes the quetion,when I was creating the second table,an error occured,which said,matching primary key(s) not found.what is the problem ?somebody konws,and does someone have the news board application developing experience ?who can give me a guide ?

Have you specify category_name as primary key of the previous table. Then only you can refer the column in the other table.
