The Sequence/order in which Data Import should be done?

Hi experts,
Can anybody suggest the sequance/ order in which we should do the data import using DTW, while setting up a fresh company, so that we can avoid dependancy conflicts?
Is there any document available?
Thanks and regards

    RegardsWhy? What is your business case behind this?
    In my experience an "order by" is used way too much without any real need to do it. Are your users interested to know in what order a few records from two years ago have been inserted? What about updates since that time?

  • Any way to control the order in which data is exported?

    I found it surprisingly easy to set up a form to submit its contents via a formmail script -- perhaps too easy...
    Using Acrobat 9 (and the demo version of Acrobat X), I've modified a form that students fill out so that when they hit the submit button it pushes the form contents to a script which relays it to an e-mail address specified on the form -- no problems there.
    But the order in which those fields are listed in the e-mail bears no relation to the order the fields appear in the form -- or alphabetical order of the field names or data values or the tab order. It's the same order every time. And as far as I can tell the mailing script isn't doing anything to change the order of the data.
    This is mostly an issue of making the e-mail friendly for the supervisor who has to look at the e-mails as they come in. (I've done a number of searches on Google and here in the forums before posting and haven't found any references to similar problems, so maybe I do have a funky script.)
    I'm wondering if a) there's something native to the form that could change the order of the data and b) there's some straightforward way of controlling that. (I imagine I could write some JavaScript to control the output I had to, but it seems like a needless step.)
    Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.

    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
    A solution would be to modify the server script to output in the order you want, as opposed to just looping over the collection of fields present in the incoming data as formmail type scripts typically do.
    That is what I wound up doing -- making a copy of the mailing script and reformatting the message body string to contain just the data responses my colleage wanted in the order he wanted. It beats the old method of requiring users to fill out the PDF, save the document and then e-mail in the PDF as an attachment.

  • Is it possible to change the dimension order when extracting data from HFM?

    Hello,
    When accessing Consolidation/Extract/Data is it possible to change the dimension order of the extract rather than extracting the standard order?
    I can see you can change the dimension order visually by going to "Reorder dimensions" but this does not carry through to the actual extract.
    If its not possible using this method is there another method? Trying to avoid using smartview for this purpose.
    Many thanks and kind regards,
    Rich

    Hi,
    No, it is not possible to change the order type.

    Assuming you're using SQL Server you can ask here:
    http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=23
    Otherwise, please ask in the relevant forum for the type of technology you're using.
    Basically it's either:
    select *
    from [table name]
    order by country
    If you want to do something with groups do something like:
    select (max) income, country
    from [table name]
    group by country

  • Lately the sequence order of the bookmark toolbar items changes from time to time. Rather irritating - is there a fix for this?

    The problem started about a week or two ago. Usually it is just one or two tabs which have shifted. I am using Xmarks. I have not noticed any changes on the items within the various tabs, just a random shifting of the tabs.

    Let me refine my question and issue because I'm now realizing that Logic is just delaying the recording, expecting latency (which is a horrible feature... good idea, but failed execution). So, is there any way to turn this off within the DAW? I want things to record on the grid. There shouldn't be any latency just trying to mix a few audio files together... right? Maybe I just never noticed in Pro Tools or the like. I'm going to test all the other DAWs as soon as I have time and see how they handle it. I know how to hone in the recording delay, but it never gets spot on for me. I still have to end up editing an externally recorded piece of audio, which is ok. But I don't find it acceptable when working completely in the DAW with just audio files...
    Maybe I'm just doing something wrong... so I'm going to work on the delay... but I'm hoping someone has dealt with this before.

  • How to find out the GR Numbers for which IR has not been done

    Hi Sap Gurus,
    Can anybody tell me how to find out the G R Numbers for which Invoice Receipt has not been done. Any TC or ant standard process to find out.
    Thanks N Regards,
    Siddhartha

    Hi Siddarth,
    Solution :
            1) Go to SE16 - Table Name : EKBE (PO History)
            2) Field - BUDAT (Posting Date)
            3) Transaction event Type:
                             - 1 (Only GR's )
                             - 2 (Both GR and IR)
            4) We can fetch both GR Numbers and also PO Numbers for which IR has not been done if transaction event - 1.
    In addition to MB5S, you can try this also...

  • How to update the sales order header & item data in TM system

    Hi Experts,
    Greetings!
    I need your help,I have a one requirement sales order data came from ECC these sales order data need to update in TM Sales order header table as well as item table also these fields are additional fields.
    Can anyone please guide me I am very new in TLM .
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Siva.

    Hi Siva
      "/SCMTMS/TRQ~ROOT" is for sales order header and "/SCMTMS/TRQ~ITEM" is for details.
      I assume you need to
    enhance the structures for these nodes to hold your add. fields;
    and do the same for the input parameter of service TransportationRequestRequest_In (which is used to create OTR) from PI side;
    Pass the add. fields during service call (impelment in ERP system);
    Map the fields from service paremeter to node attribute (implement in TM system, BAdI   /SCMTMS/TRQ_SE_TPNRQ_REQ~CHANGE_MODIFICATION create modification table for the input parameter).
    I cannot find source code for all of that; hope it helps.

  • How to setup the sequence order's of PO's vision instance

    I need to create PO's in a sequential order in vision instance. How should I do that?
    Thanbks
    regards,

    Hi,
    We have already mentioned how to create PO sequence in earlier post in this thread...
    You need to follow below steps:
    1) Login to Purchasing Super user
    2) Open "Purchasing Options" form.. (Setup --> Organizations --> Purchasing Options)
    3) In Document numbering section, do mention the details of PO Number, like PO Entry (Manual/Automatic), PO Number type (Numberic/Alphanumeric), Next number (e.g. 10000)
    For your case use Next Number : 100000 (6 digits)
    4) Save
    5) Return to PO creation page and start creating POs.
    Hope this will help.
    Kind Regards,

  • Procedure needed 4 changing the sequence order

    For example, there are ten employees. The first employee’s id will be 1. The second employee says his id he wants to be 14. For the third employee, the employee id should come in sequence, i.e it should assign 2 by default, if he have not requested an id. Again when the fourth employee comes, he will request for number 4. When fifth employee comes, he will be assigned number 3, when he has not requested of his choice. When sixth employee comes, number 5 should be assigned, since number 4 is already in use.
    So how can I write a Procedure for this?

    this example might be of help.
      -- assuming that you have this in your procedure:
      -- pEmpId Number        => for Employee ID
      -- vEmpId Number        => place holder for employee id
      -- vCtr   Number        => counter for checking rows
      -- emp_seq_no           => sequence for employee
      -- employee does not request for an Id
      If pEmpId Is Null Then
        Loop
          Select emp_seq_no.nextval
            Into vEmpId
            From dual;
          --check if existing on the table
          Select empid
            Into vCtr1
            From employee
           Where empid = vEmpId;
          If vEmpId <> vCtr1 Then
            exit;
          End If
        End Loop;
      Else
        -- employee requested for an Id
        Select Count(*)
          Into vCtr1
          From employee
         Where empid = vEmpId;
        -- check if existing on the table
        If vCtr1 > 0 Then
          -- code goes here on what do you want to do when
          -- the requested id exists
        End If;
      End If;note: this code has not been tested.

  • How to see the sequential file for which data is uploaded.

    hi experts,
    here iam transferring data to  application server.
    just chk the code once...
    the output is sucess.
    in al11, in temp iam not in aposition to find this data. how to see it.
    open dataset dsn for output in text mode encoding default.
          if sy-subrc <> 0.
              write :/'dataset cannot be open'.
          else.
              loop at it_upload.
              transfer it_upload to dsn.
              endloop.
              if sy-subrc = 0.
              write :/'sucess'.
              endif.
              close dataset dsn.
          endif.

    What is the value of the variable 'dsn' (i.e. the filename?).
    If it uses directories (i.e. something like "/dir/dir/dir/filename"), you shouldn't look at the temp but follow the path that the variable 'dsn' has.
    If there is no path in the filename 'dsn' it usually is defaulted to the temp directory (DIR_TEMP ("/tmp") or often DIR_SAPUSERS "./"). If the filename doesn't show up in either, check your BASIS people.
    Remember though, the filename is CAPS sensitive the the name "filename" and "FILENAME" are seen as <i>two different names</i> and will show up at different places in in the directory (iirc CAPS are first before lowercase).

  • I did not receive one of the songs ordered and charge.  What should i do?

    On Itunes I ordered and paid for a song and it did not go on my shuffle.

    Hello Denise,
    Is the song in your iTunes library still?  If so, make sure you have your iPod configured to sync this particular song, unless you manually manage your iPod's contents (meaning you would have to manually drag the track to your shuffle to sync it to it).

  • Which Data usage should I believe?

    Ok. So I recently purchased the 200Mb plan for my phone. Now I reset the statistics just two days ago and it already said I have used 57Mb. But if I use the ATT data usage service it says I have only used 14Mb. Help?

    AT&T's usage statistics are what you will be charged for.
    Note, however, that sometimes it takes AT&T's billing system a while to catch up. Most usage shows up within several minutes or an hour, but not all, and if you are roaming on a non-AT&T network, it could take many days.
    Also, did you re-set usage at exactly the same time AT&T did? Sometimes when you switch plans, AT&T takes some time to catch up.
