The status wheel keeps going

I have an iPad 2, with the latest iOS. (As a side note, I recently had to reset the entire thing as facetime wasn't working, and my backup failed, so I restored and started over) in the upper left corner of the screen, there are the five dots, then "Verizon," then my wifi strength. Next to that, as I'm sure you all know, is where the little wheel pops up when the iPad is working. Lately, it keeps popping up. I have no idea why. I have turned off background refresh, killed all apps, yet it constantly pops up. What could the iPad be doing? Any thoughts?

I believe it's a IOS 8 bug. A number of people have reported it. I get it when I delete a tab in Safari.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

After you hold the power and home buttons at the SAME time until the Apple Logo appears (ignore the red slider to shut down) then let go of both buttons and you don't need to do anything else. Your iPad will restart all by itself. Just be patient, but leave your iPad alone after the Logo appears.

Im trying to download Premiere Pro 6 but in the CC desktop app the loading wheel keeps spinning? What can I do?

When I select "Install or update an application" and switch to the Apps tab the loading wheel keeps spinning. There are no apps listed.

After a long time (more than 1 hour), I decide to switch off my Mac holding the button down and when I boot and log in again, it works normally.
Remark: When I logoff, I do not ask to keep my open programs for the next session.
I have a MacBook Pro 2010 with 4GB Ram.

The update failed - using a USB to microUSB lead (that Apple annoyingly don't include!), try to restore the AppleTV software to current version software using instructions here:

Pay attention to differences in power connection depending on whether or not you have AppleTV2 or AppleTV 3.

Make sure you quit all your applications before shutting down.
And try resetting the SMC.

Well I went to the Tools/options/and general section & clicked on the restore default for the home page. However I am still having the same issue.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Since you did not say how long the battery lasts I am nut sure the battery is the problem.

my computer is very slow trying to open any applications and the rainbow wheel keeps spining. How can I fix this?

You didn't even tell us what iMac you have (late 2009 is not a very good description) nor do we know what version of OS X it is running. Without the minimum of information it's tough to troubleshoot.

I purchased a blu-ray of The Hunger Games and it came with a code for a digital copy. I redeemed the code on iTunes but the download has been continuing for 2 weeks now and it never finishes! The time just keeps going up. Never an issue in the past.

Everytime I launch iTunes it starts the download again and the counter keeps going UP, at one point it said it would take 3 weeks. I have paused and restarted the download, I have deleted the download, nothing works to finish or stop this download! Does anyone have a clue what's up?

ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"
