The suitable LabVIEW data type correspinding to the array of structure in Visual Basic ActiveX DLL

I need to call a VB ActiveX DLL from LabVIEW. When I run my LabVIEW code, I always meet an error as:
Error 1 occurred at Incorrect Function in T06.vi
Possible reasons:
LabVIEW: An input parameter is invalid.
I have read the VB DLL code that defines the data type. It fills data to a structure, then puts this structure to the array, and sends the array of structures to the method.

Hi,
if you have a complete source code including EM_nkd_DataPoint class module, take a look inside in order to see data types for Amplitude, DataPointType, DataSource and Wavelength (probably for Amplitude and Wavelength is SINGLE). If this code is not available, maybe the author mentioned a type for T_SUB and MEASURED even if they are constants.

I' like to use some code written in Visual Basic into LabVIEW. I think the best way to do this is making a dll_activeX. When I use the dll present in the "zipped" file it works (I've registered the dll as described in the article).
If I compile in a DllActiveX the Visual Basic project (Visual Basic 6.0), present in the zipped file, and I try to use, after the unregistrtion of the old one and the registration of new one, it doesen't work.
I received the following error:
error 3005Occurred at automation open: Object specified is
not creatable in a ActiveX Dll with LabVIEW.vi

I am not sure why you are getting the error. I downloaded the zip file re-built the dll and then registered it. I originally had LabVIEW open, so I closed and re-opened it so that it would see the new object. I then pointed the ActiveX refnum to the Project1 class. I still had a few broken wires so I hit ctrl-shift-Run Arrow to force a recompile.
After all that I ran the VI at it worked great. Once that was done I unregistered it and ran the VI. I got an error as expected. I then re-registered the dll and ran it again. No error.

Adding fields with data type "TIMS" to the BP transaction

This is Anil regarding the addition of fields to the BP transaction.
here my problem is for BP transaction I could not find any BADI or screen exit to add the fields. Even EEWB tool does not allow us to cretate the fields with data type "TIMS". so could you please suggest any other way to add these fields to BP?
when I enter the values to the time fields in BP transaction, they must reflect in
BUT000 table also?

In the physical layer, Column Properties change the data type to int.
If still problem exists, In the Business Model, write a case statement like
case when column1=1 then 1 end
and apply count aggregation on the new calculated column,add the column to presentation table, use that new calculated column for report.

Need to know data type which could take the result of - data TYPE RAW.

I have the following Req:
I need to make a RFC call from one SAP system to SAP Banking Services system to retrieve Contract ID.
But the field contract id happens to be of TYPE RAW. (16 characters)
So my problem is - I need to know the data type could take the result (contract id) of that RFC call.
As the declration -> data: v_con_id Type RAW --> isn't a valid syntax.
Please help in this regard.

As you have mentioned about the declration ->
data: v_con_id Type RAW --> isn't a valid syntax.
lets try another one assign a variable to RAW data TYPE and inturn assign v_con_id to that variable.
var_raw(16) type RAW,
v_con_id type var_raw(16).
I am though not sure just try out

Data type size for the view column

I am creating a view from base table using substr() for some fields. The data type size of the column in the view becomes twice the size of the corresponding column in the base table. Example
SQL> create table temp_sat(name varchar2(20));
Table created.
SQL> create view temp_view as select substr(name,1,10) name from temp_sat;
View created.
SQL> desc temp_view
Name Null? Type
NAME VARCHAR2(40)

Sysgen : How to read the input port data type, width and rate dynamically in a masked subsystem ?

Hello everybody,
     I am designing a general purpose block in system generator. I pass the user parameters to the block through masking it. Some user parameters can change the block configuration. The input port data type, width and rate can also affect the block configuration.
     The problem is that these values (input port data type, width and rate) are subject to change. So I should read them dynamically, then change the block configuration through programming the "Initialization Commands" field. But unfortunately there is no straight way to read the input port information.
     There are some methods in for example the "Black Box". these are:
input_width = this_block.port('din').width;
input_rate = this_block.port('din').rate;
But these methods are not applicable to a masked subsystem.
I have tried other ways also. You can find them below. None of them worked.
Does anybody know how can I solve this problem?

Today we rely on Simulink to perform parameterization of your designs in two ways:
Parameterizable Subsystems and Blocks : Parameters themselves can be MATLAB expressions that need to be evaluated for which we need the MATLAB interpreter
The very useful Rate and Type propagation or Simulink compilation that allows us to specify types & rates in one location that gets systematically propagated to all.
To truly make the HDL Netlist that is generated from SysGen parameterizable, we would have to implement some of this capability in the HDL netlist itself by:
Using Generics(VHDL) or Parameters(Verilog) - We would have to capture the bit width(type) propagation through levels of hierarchies and finally parameterize the IP itself based on this value
Since IP itself does not have this capability through generics, we would have to package a separate tcl script that updates the IP parameterization appropriately in response to top level parameters(or GUI parameters)
Interpreting MATLAB expressions and translating them into VHDL/Verilog expressions (alternatively tcl expressions of IP). In simulink, mask parameters can be passed from one level to the next. Also parameterization of a block can be composed of Matlab expressions using variables from ancestor masks & the MATLAB interpreter – so we will need to somehow capture that as well.

I Have Namespaces Are Different,
So,I Changed the Namespace in the XSD File with the New Namespace Which I created in IR.
I Changed in Two Places Like this

But it is giving Error lik this

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.
