The target comp.java cannot be started because it is not a runnable target

I am using JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3.0.4 (SU4)) on Windows Server 2003. After compiling java program, when I try to run it, it gives following message:
"The target comp.java cannot be started because it is not a runnable target."
Could anybody help, what is problem? Do I have to make some configuration?

if comp.java doesn't have a main method the surely it compile but will run since you need to a main method in order to run the your java program.

and point JDeveloper to the browser executable

I'm tying to run the Tree Binding example (ADF UIX Tree Binding Sample) -- (http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/jdev/index.html).
I have defined an application workspace and DB connection for it, but get this error when I attempt to "run" the ViewJSP project.
"The target struts-config.xml cannot be started because it is not a runnable target."
Running JDev 9051 against DB9i. I am new to this version of JDev, but have familiarity with the previous releases (904x).
What do I need to do here? How to I configure JDev and to make "structs-config.xml" a "runnable" target?
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to run one of the components in struts-config.xml, like a JSP page or struts action.
Select the starting page or action in struts page flow, right mouse and choose run.

hi am trying to run my adf application am geting this error The target base_domain cannot be started because it is not a runnable target. am in window xp running jdeveloper 11g release 2 and my database is 11g

Can you provide the complete error stack?
Did you try deleting the Default Domain & re-run? If not, can you try it?

I moved my iTunes library FROM a Win 7 32bit HD to a new Win 7 32bit HD.
On the old HD iTunes uses 145GB of HD space.
On the new HD iTunes uses 145GB of HD space.
On both instances of iTunes I have selected "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC"
My iTouch is a 3rd gen. 64GB unit.
In the past I would only take 75% of the available space. Now I am short 22GB.
What am I missing?

Appears to be fixed.
Moved all music recorded at 128bit or less to different location.
Moved video files to different location.
Synced sections of iTunes collection individually: Only Music, then Podcasts, etc.
Seems to be working fine. Apps also came over without changes.
???? Only thing missing is my PLAYLISTS.
???? Someone know where they reside on my old HD list and why they did not come over?

To resolve this issue, delete the backup in iTunes Preferences and then create a new backup. If you would like to retain a copy of the backup, you can move the backup file to a different location. The backup is located in the locations below.

\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
To delete the backup file:
    Open iTunes Preferences by choosing iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).
    Select Devices.
    Select the device backup to delete.
    Click Delete Backup. iTunes will ask if you are sure you want to delete the backup. Click Delete Backup.
    Click OK.
To manually create a new backup, right-click (or Control-click) iPhone on the left side of the iTunes window under Devices and choose Back Up from the shortcut menu.

"This disc cannot be used because it is not recognized" Error

For about the last month I have not been able to burn any cd's. I have just upgraded to Leopard and that still didn't fix anything. I can read cd's but when I put in a cd-r disc to burn, the error "This disc cannot be used because it is not recognized" comes up.
G5 2 ghz, Sony DVD RW DW- U10A drive.

I too have been having a similar problem. I can read CDs but not burn them. The drive that I have is a pioneer 112D with the latest firmware installed v 1.24, (did it today) This drive is a replacement for one that died about 6 months ago. I have OS 10.4.11, the newest patch burn installed, repaired permissions, repaired disk from a start-up disk, tried to burn from toast, and itunes,and disk burn. I looked in the LaunchDaemons folder but it was empty. I called Pioneer and while it is still under warrantee, I have to send it in and wait 4 weeks to get it back. Not good service in this day and age! Anyone have any ideas?

Before you delete the full system directory you try deleting just this one:
