The use of Listed substance

When looking at the standard data-models for EHS. SAP proposes that listed substance should be used together with pure sub and real sub.
Can someone explain why listed substance is needed?
Which data should be store there?
What is the difference between listed substance and pure substance?
I would greatly appreciate answers to these questions!

List Substance:
This is where one should load the data from your data provider (CLEO / CaaS / Ariel). No one should change or add values on a list substance level.
No material assignments.
Pure Substances:
This specifications inherit or reference the data from the list substances.
If you need to add or change data - this is the place to do it.
No material assignments.
Real Substances:
This is where you manually maintain (or calculate via EH&S Expert) the classification (GHS, OSHA etc.) of your products.
One real substance level you maintain (or calculate via EH&S Expert) the "Standard Composition" with pure substances.
This is the substance from which you create the MSDS.
Real Substance have material assignments.

Flex 4.5 What is the use of List verticleLayout rowHeight property ??

I've just used this as a set up:
A List with a skin with datagroup and a VScrollBar in it.
On the datagroup verticleLayout I set variableRowHeight to false and rowHeight to 43.
I have 8 items in my dataProvider but less can be seen in the list = the VScrollBar should be active and be able to scroll.
Unless I set a fixed height to 43 of my ItemRenderer the VScrollbar is bugged and doesn't allow scrolling as if there were no items in my List.
My ItemRenderer is very simple just a group with 100% height (which should fill the rowHeight specified but doesn't) and 100% width and rect in it so I can see the item in the list. And I do see them up to where the list height ends. The rest I can't, cause I can't scroll, which means that the viewport measures wrongly the itemRenderers.
Isn't setting variableRowHeight to false and rowHeight to a fixed number supposed to automatically set the height of each itemRenderer to whatever the rowHeight property has ? Or why should I use that property if then the itemRenderer doesn't get this height and screws up it's measurement ?
It's very simple to test, here is the list skin code to use:

Hi Shongrounden, sry for the late reply. You know how it is with time But better late then never! So here are the 2 examples - 3 bugs - 1 old, 2 new:
Both examples are with view source so you can test fast

Note: this example is based on dataGroup not List.
Scroll to the bottom (don't use mouse wheel) - > now hover over any of the 4 white areas (that's where the gap is -> handled by the skin) -> try the mouse wheel to go up. It won't work. If you try it on the first gaps it will work till some point you go down it won't. That's from Flex 4.1 and I reported this bug, just saying not fixed yet...

Note: this example is based on List cause the problem comes when useVirtualLayout="true".
I explained about the old bug and since I didn't want it to mess up this test case I didn't use it here gap is 0. Each ItemRenderer is a back rectangle 100% width/height. As you see the scroll doesn't work but it should cause there is a lot to scroll there. If I set gap then the scroller can be scrolled but just by the height of the sum of gaps... The only way you can scroll with this bugged scroller is to drag the scollerThumb if you can see it at all. When you drag it down the scrollerThumb shrinks as more itemRenderers pop up and when you "discover" them all you can scroll normally.
UPDATE: White writing this I tested and turned out that it's cause of the useVirtualLayout="true" (by default). But no matter I have variableRowHeight="false" and rowHeight="100" ... the scroller gets messed up...
Well I think you pretty much got the idea of what's bugged now
Note: If you add <s:Label text="{data}" /> to the CustomIR along with the Rect I have there = bug is fixed... Scroller calculates everything nice. I tried also to put <s:Group /> doesn't fix the bug... so I am not sure which exactly are the magical components that fix this bug
UPDATE on the Note: Even with the magical label there still the scroller doesn't properly calculate the total height of the viewport based on the items * rowHeight when variableRowHeight="false" and useVirtualLayout="true" - meaning you have to scroll down to see the scroller shrinking while normally it should calculate approximately or in this case precisely it's height.
3) In Case 2) if you set a gap="20" for example... there is a gap before the first itemRenderer... should not be there...
Note: Again - If you add <s:Label text="{data}" /> to the CustomIR along with the Rect I have there = bug is fixed...

Input fields of the used DC view is disabled

Hi Experts,
I am new to webdynpro and working on the support project. i have came across one unusual problem which i would require your help.
I have a DC which have one one more DC added in the "Used DC list". Now We already have embedded the View of the Used DC into our own DC.
Now the problem is the Input fields like date etc which is der on the embedded view is visible but not enabled. I checked it on the ORIGINAL VIEW of the USED DC and there the property enable is true. But when we embed into some other DC then those fields were not seems enabled.

the problem is with Node cardinality. please check the cardinality of ur node it should be 1:1. if the cardinality of ur node is 0 to n, in design time input field will be enabled but in the runtime, the input field will be disbaled mode.

Does use-new-list-stack CMD +/- work in Grid View?

With the use-new-list-stack dock setting, does CMD +/- shrink and enlarge icon sizes in Grid View? From what I can see, it seems to work in List View, but not Grid View. But I've read reports to the contrary that claim this works even in Snow Leopard. So, I'm asking.

In Lion, Command + and Command - will enlarge/reduce the displayed icons in a Dock folder set to Grid view.
I could not get the same action in Snow Leopard.

No more use-new-list-stack?

Oh boy, this one is going to hurt. The List view is thew only Dock view I can tolerate, and ever since Lion I've been implementing the use-new-list-stack option that allows items to be dragged out of List view the same way they can be from Grid and Fan view, along with allowing icon resizing and a narrower stacked hierarchy view. And it looks like the old command:
defaults write com.apple.dock use-new-list-stack -bool YES && killall Dock
is no longer working. Please tell me someone knows of another way. Not sure why it never became the default. Please.

If your country code does not appear in the list…
Go to System Preferences > iCloud > Keychain and enter your Apple ID password (Settings > iCloud > Keychain, from a mobile device)
Select the ‘Create Different Code’ option. (Mobile devices only)
Select the advanced option and choose whether to create a random code or no code, selecting the later allows syncing across devices but not with Apple’s servers.

How do I create a URL to filter a view when the value I have from list one is the ID that was used by list 2 to pull in the list 1 title?

My list "Tasks" has an record with Title = "Build SSIS for Duke Energy" and its ID is 1. Then I have a list "Journal" where I have tracked entries related to the progress of the task. When I create the Journal entries I passed
in the ID of the task 1 which then pulled the title into the Journal's Associated task lookup column. Now I'd like to have a column in the Tasks list that would have a URL to take me to all journal entries related to the Task. But passing in the ID 1 of the
task does not work.
If the lookup column has the actual Title from the task in all the time and it is not dynamically pulled every time the list is queried shouldn't I be able to filter on the Title e.g. "Build
SSIS for Duke Energy"

I ended up going with a workflow to build the URL and sending the title to the look-up column.
I tried the script at that site and ran into several problems. It didn't work with views that were grouped, the calculated links did not show on the edit and view forms. I assume those forms would have to be changed to run the script also.
In addition to, I have to add a CEWP to each view and I was also losing the "Items" and "List" options (next to "Browse") from the ribbon until I clicked around in the list.
What are the downfalls of a workflow? I ask because many people default to using a similar TextToHTML script like you mentioned.

How can I use the call's list?

Dear friends,
I have some problems with a call I received and with my boss.
On my Iphone 4S I can see the list of the last calls. Let's say that I have a 45minutes incoming call from my friend. Looking the detail by the arrow, on the right, I can see also other information, like the complete number and the lenght of the call (45 min, in this case).
Now the point: someone heard me during the call and said I got that phone call form someone else!
I replied that is not possible: you can modify the name of the contact, in this case it seems that I got the call from the new name, but I also showed that if you modify the number too (yes, it's possible) the call disappears from the call list!
Now I have the complete call list and I can show that the "trick" is not possible, but they don't believe me and, since the question is quite important, I'm risking to loose my job.
Can someone give me the confirmation that is not possible to do this? I mean, I want to be sure of my theory that no one can change name and number of the call and keep the call amongst all the other calls...

You cannot use your iPhone as a normal storage system. The only way to get documents and other stuff on it is to sync via iTunes (unless you use an app like evernote, which has its own sync).

For example you could see the whole month, the day you select was highlighted and at the bottom of the page listed any activities.
Now this does not happen. Am I missing something?

Ditto! I have always preferred the month as the default view and the list at the page bottom let me know what I need to pay attention to for today (or tomorrow, or any future date). Having to scoll through every hour of the day to find items that may or not be there is a huge waste of time!
I hate this calendar!!!! I've been okay with other changes in ios7 but they need to make changes. How about letting us configure our own calendar views? Choose "home" page look by month or week, itemize daily view by hour or by items entered, etc.

Unable to get the SharePoint 2013 List names using Client object model for the input URL

Please can you help with this issue.
We are not able to get the SharePoint 2013 List names using Client object model for the input URL.
What we need is to use default credentials to authenticate user to get only those list which he has access to.
clientContext.Credentials = Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials
But in this case we are getting error saying ‘The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.’
Instead of passing Default Credentials, if we pass the User credentials using:
clientContext.Credentials = New Net.NetworkCredential("Administrator", "password", "contoso")
It authenticates the user and works fine. Since we are developing a web part, it would not be possible to pass the user credentials. Also, the sample source code works perfectly fine on the SharePoint 2010 environment. We need to get the same functionality
working for SharePoint 2013.
We are also facing the same issue while authenticating PSI(Project Server Interface) Web services for Project Server 2013.
Can you please let us know how we can overcome the above issue? Please let us know if you need any further information from our end on the same.

I sure that CSOM will authenticate without passing the
"clientContext.Credentials = Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials" by default. It will take the current login user credentials by default. For more details about the CSOM operations refer the below link.

There's been a problem with this all day. Seems to be a server problem - wait a day and try again, or use itunes on the computer to update, that works.

Not sure which driver you mean when you say "the driver in the Mac's list". Apple does not provide a driver for this device, so if you mean one of the default printers that are included with 10.6, like the Generic Postscript or Generic PCL, then these will only work if the optional PS or PCL print kits were installed in the machine. Given your inability to print then it would seem that you have neither kit installed. So this would require you to install the Canon UFR2 driver, which you can obtain via this link.
With the UFR2 driver installed, you add the printer using IP > LPD. Enter the IP address of the iRC2380, leave the Queue name blank and change the Name to iRC2380. Leave the Location field blank and in the Print Using menu, browse to the "Canon iR C2380/2550 UFR II (UK)". Click OK and then Add to complete the queue creation. You should now be able to print. Please reply if it does not work.

Can I make a birthday reminder repeat every year? (Using the Birthday Reminder List)

I see that when I enter contact birthdays they show up on my calendar...great. But what about the children of my contacts? I thought I would enter their birthdates using the Birthday Reminder List, but when I enter their birthday, it insists on entering the due date....will this reminder keep repeating each year? If not, there's no sense in entering the birthdate. I know I can set up an annually repeating event for the birthday but it just seems like I should be able to use the Birthday Reminder List for this. Thanks

Here's what I've done which may work for others. I've scrapped the idea of using the birthday reminders function. Instead, I created a new calendar (click the settings icon in the upper right of the icloud website) called "Birthdays-Non Contact". Then I entered the missing bdays as all day events (repeating every year) on this calendar. So now all my birthdays show on my main calendar....some come from the birthday field in the contacts database and the rest come from my newly created "Birthdays-Non Contact" calendar events.
Interestingly, if I choose to show only my "Birthdays-Non Contact" calendar, all my contact birthdays appear on it as well, so it gives a complete list of all my birthdays and nothing else....cool.
I should say, everything I'm talking about is what I see on the ICloud site. My husband has the phone at the moment which I presume will show the same picture.
