Hi all ,
I got new job as APEX developer ,my team leader asked me to create new theme or to modify the old one which is existed in APEX.how is that???I have to give the designer the themes that i have in order he can apply his design on ...what kind of information and files that i have to give to designer.and how can i apply the new theme on my application ...

I just tried a test library, re-imported fresh images from a hard drive, and the date changes still revert.
So neither your external drive nor your Aperture library are to blame.
What do you mean test in a different user acct? Would it be a good idea to uninstall and re-download aperture 3?

To test, if some settings in your user account are faulty or preferences files corrupted, it helps to create a new user account from the "Users&Groups" System preferences. With a brand new user account you can see, if something in your current account is causing this.
Should you see, that Aperture is not even working from a new and clean account, I'd reinstall Aperture, and if need be the Operating system. Are you using any plug-ins?

Can I modify the design notes status list?

I'm one of the people who quite likes using design notes.
Does anyone know if I can modify the standard status list?
I'd like to add a couple of new items so that I do not have
to always add them as value pairs.

We ran into the same issue so we chose to create our own email submit button. We even allowed our users to enter their email, subject line and body using response boxes. We used the standard button and added the following Javascript on the click event.

A variation on a theme - iPhoto and modified photos

I want to ask a question that's been asked before, but with a twist: I just spent several hours editing photos I had imported into iPhoto. Photoshop Elements is set as my preferred editor in iPhoto. After editing each photo, I chose "Save for Web." I did not change the names, thinking that these were being saved in a different location than the originals. Now, when I go to find the edited photos, Spotlight does, in fact, show two versions of the edited photos, one under path Users/myusername/Pictures/iPhoto Library/modified/2009/eventname
The original is under path Users/myusername/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Data/2009/eventname
I'd like to post some of the modified pics to a Website (not iWeb), but I can't get to them. I can find them and open them individually. Is this what I have to do? Open each modified pic individually and then save it to another location?

FWIW here are some tips on using PSE with iPhoto:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 6 the Saving File preferences should be configured: "On First Save: Save Over Current File". Also I suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: The new rebuild option in iPhoto 09 (v. 8.0.2), Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" makes this tip obsolete.

Can Illustrator modify a design to be tiled, like for backgrounds?

I know Photoshop has a way of doing it (where is that function again?) where it can take an image and you can offset it or something so if its put as a tiled background on a web page, it will all fit it. Does Illustrator have a way of doing something similar?

This is the fourth thread that you've started about this subject. I would suggest that you choose one and stick with it.
I'm going to return to my previous question (from your first post): Are you just trying to replace the images in your theme with new images, or are you trying to create an entirely new theme?

IDVD '08 - Modifying Revolution Theme Chapters Background

Hello everyone!
I am authoring a DVD using iDVD '08 (7.1.2) and I've decided to use the Revolution theme.
I modified the menu and fonts for both the Main and Chapter screens. However in Chapters screens, the "scrolling text" that is running in the background says "REVOLUTION CHAPTERS" and I can't find a place to edit this text, as I could do on the main screen.
Does anyone know if and how this can this text can be changed? If so, please let me know how. I'd be so grateful.

In the Chapter menu the title usually is Chapters 1-6 (if you have 6 or more chapters)
Click on the title and change to whatever you want to rolling text to be. You may have to click on the rolling text to get it to change right away.

I currently use CS4 and have designs using this. If I upgrade to CC will I still be able to modify my CS4 designs? I'm thinking of unistalling CS4 to add memory to my computer.

If my system currently has CS4 and designs have been created with CS4, will I be able to modify those designs with Creative Cloud? Also, If I upgrade to Creative Cloud, should I uninstall CS4 to make more space on my computer?

Yes, legacy files can be opened in CC. Whether or not you uninstall CS4 is entirely up to you, but since opening files in newer versions may sometimes change appearances due to technical changes, it's usually a good idea to keep older versions around during transition phases, if only to check for those issues and verify that they are "real".

Theme not coming properly

Hi Experts,
We are having Federated Portal and the custom theme XYZ is developed in Consumer Portal. The ESS/MSS iviews are linked through Remote Role Assignment from Producer portal.
The theme is not coming properly. From Mashead to Top level navigation the theme XYZ is coming correctly but when I opens the page having iviews then the iView Tray is showing the SAP Standard theme and the content in the iView is sometimes taking correct XYZ theme.
I have cleared Federated cache, navigation cache and also cookies, but still it is not coming properly.
When I view source iView then

Try by re-starting the portal.
This is rarely necessary when dealing with the SAP Portal theme.
The advice from Sushil looks more like the solution as it is common to not upload the consumer portal theme in the producer portal. Because in an FPN the producer theme will be used when the consumer theme isn't found:

Next source of problems with themes is when your consumer and producer are on a different version (specifically when the producer is on a higher SPS or EHP) even when the consumer theme was imported into the producer.

Error occurs when SAVE a new UR Theme project in NWDS

I´m a new member of this community and I´ve a problem:
I´m install eclipse theme editor, to modify appearence of webdynpro application using NWDS.
Problem occurs when I tried to save a project, using the SAVE button, An application message appears:
"An error occurred while performing SAVE as operation.Failed to execute runnable (Java.lang.AbtractMethodError:com.sap.engine.lib.xml.dom.DocumentImpl.getXMLStandalone()Z)"

Set the theme in WordPress -HELP

   1. Open a browser and go to your local WordPress admin area (the URL is typically http://localhost/wp-admin/)
   2. Log in to WordPress.
   3. In the left sidebar of the dashboard, click Appearance. This should open the Manage Themes area. If not, click the arrow to the right of Appearance, then click Manage Themes.
   4. Click Activate below Adobe Developer Connection Theme 1.0 by Codify Design Studio; this activates the theme files you just copied into the ...wp-content/themes folder.
   5. Type http://localhost/ into the browser to see the first page of the blog with the theme files applied.
When I type http://localhost/ in my address bar, I see this message:
"Seeing this instead of the website you expected?"

Not too sure on this, but the following MacTech article includes some AppleScript code to change a slide's background colour and texture. I have successfully tried both examples in PowerPoint 2008. When I also tried them in PowerPoint 2004, all I got was various errors. Maybe PowerPoint 2004 needs different keywords, syntax, etc., or perhaps these scripting features might only have been added in PowerPoint 2008.

Default Workbook Formatting - Apply Styles to Design Item Cells

Hi All,
I am trying to create a template workbook with design items and formatting that I want to use to build a number of end user workbooks with multiple queries.
The baisc idea is that the template workbook would contain a Theme with styles applied to design items. I would then make this as my default workbook ( not global default but only my user specific default workbook ) and then build the rest o the workbooks with queries in them on multiple sheets.
So these workbooks with queries would also contain the Theme from the template workbook. And in future if any formatting changes need to be made I would only have to change the Theme on my template workbook.
Sounds perfect in an ideal world. The challenge I'm facing is that I am unable to apply a SAPBEX style to design items object. Since the number of cells is dynamic on an Analysis grid I want to apply the style to the Analysis grid object as the help describes it - see below.
I am not turning off the formatting check in the data provider since it shows key figures in internal format. I have key figures that are rounded to zero decimals as well as % values in my queries and want to show them without decimals and with the % sign. Turning off the formatting flag removes the Std. formatting from the query definition.
So I was hoping to keep the formatting turned on and then apply a style to the analysis grid object. Please advice if htis is possible or any workaround to achieve this.

Hi Ravi.
You cannot apply a style to a design item. The design items are using pre-defined styles, so you will have to modify the already existing SAPBEX*-style that handles the part of the design item you want to customize. If you cannot tell which style does what, just make a change to it and run the workbook to see what you changed.

Hey guys,
I run a radio show out of St. John's, NL, and we're trying to get our digital presense stronger. Does anyone know any good, usable software that will make creating a webpage simple for a mac?
The site is www.afterthemovies.com ... We're really interested in making it a strong site, but it's a long, painful designing process.

Sorry I haven't been able to get back to this one sooner. RapidWeaver is theme based. No HTML coding is needed unless you wish to do so. The themes can be modified easily, CSS and javascript can be used to modify the themes or content even further. There are many themes to choose from beyond the included themes, some free. Beyond themes there is a wide assortment of page types to be used within a theme and a web site can use one or more themes, external sites can be called. Going a step further, there's additional plugins that will allow you to create complex sites. A blank template is available with instructons to create your own themes. There are also 3rd party apps that support RapidWeaver. It can become quite a system unto itself.
I've used a few programs but this one allows me to toss together a complex, large site fast, the code is clean and managing the sites is effortless. Try a demo, you might be surprised.
Personally, I'd like to see how iWeb developes. There's some fine things in that program.

Why are only a limited amount of themes showing up under the Design Tab of the ribbon?

Word 2013 provides some default themes for users' convenience, however, we understand it may not meet all users' needs. To have more themes, we can modify existing themes to make your own custom themes. We can start by modifying existing theme
colors and fonts:
To create a custom color theme, choose Colors -> Customize Colors. Use the Create New Theme Colors dialog box to pick and choose which colors apply to text or various graphical elements in your document.
To create a custom font theme, choose Fonts -> Customize Fonts. Use the Create New Theme Fonts dialog box to select fonts — one for the headings and another for the body text.
In each case, give the new theme a name and save it. You can then choose that theme from the Custom area of either the Colors or Fonts menu.
When you’re using a set of theme colors, fonts, and graphics styles, you can collect the various elements as a theme: Choose Save Current Theme from the Theme menu, and use the dialog box to give your theme a proper descriptive name and save it. The theme
you create then appears in the Custom area of the Themes menu.
