I get this error when trying to have my Airport (for wireless printer sharing) join my current O2 Broadband wireless network:
*AirPort Utility was unable to find your Apple wireless device after restarting.*
*The settings for this Apple wireless device have been successfully updated, but there was a problem re-joining the wireless network or finding the Apple wireless device. You may need to select your network from the AirPort menu and try again.*
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

This has been a total joke...Same problems as many here and zero response from Apple! I've had an AX for 3 years or so and it has worked fine, that is until it dropped its connection 2 days ago. I went to reset and the utility prompted me to do some updates...then magically it all went down the tubes!

Well, I tried everything including the many possible fixes listed here at the discussions...and of coarse NOTHING. I returned the new AX today, and surprise the people at the Apple Store had never heard of the issues, let alone have idea of what to do next! VERY MAD!

Given that a significant number of subscribers are having the above referenced issue with attempting to download the current update for InDesign, WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO, in order to get our contractually paid-for updates to our legally and contractually paid-for Adobe software, specifically in my case, InDesgin's current update?
Please, NO TECHNICAL mumbo-jumbo which most likely will cause the overwhelming majority of users, like me, to seriously corrupt their computer files, but rather an honest, straightforward "what to do" from real CS/Engineers working for Adobe, as to how to FIX this issue, period.

UPDATE:
Here is a way in which I think I was able to "update" my InDesign CC application:
(1) Sign-In to your Adobe Account

(2) Click on the MENU icon
(3) Click on the product InDesign icon
Your browser should display the page for Adobe InDesign CC
https://www.adobe.com/products/indesign.html?promoid=KLXLU
(4) Click on the Download icon,
Your browser should now display the page to download InDesign,
https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/indesign
(5) a Pop-Up window should open, and display:
Launch Application
This link needs to be opened with an application.
with the first option to select being the CreativeCloud(URIHandler)
(5) Select this application and click OK.
What happened when I followed steps (1) thorugh (5) is that:
(a) InDesign CC(2014) was installed,
(b) InDesign CC, updated, and then
(c) InDesign CC(2014), also updated.
Why this all worked, is a mystery to me.
Looks like a separate, "new" version of InDesign, InDesign CC(2014), was installed, the existing "old" InDesign was updated, and then the newly installed Indesign CC(2014) was further updated.
A BIT MORE, when I launched my InDesign CC app, and checked to see if there were Updates Available, there in fact was an Adobe InDesign CC 64 bit (9.2.2) update.
I clicked on UPDATE and my "old" InDesign CC app was "successfully updated."
FURTHER INFO: I may have neglected to list some important info ... OS: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center, 64-bit
Confused, I am able to launch BOTH of these apps, and hopefully I may use one of these versions of the InDesign CC app, to do some InDesign work.

No, if the AirPort Extreme will be used with another router from another manfacturer.
Ironically, the less expensive AirPort Express can do what you ask about with virtually any wireless network using a special feature called ProxySTA. It won't extend the wireless with a non-Apple router, but the Ethernet port will be enabled.

I would say that you would want to look into the "Exchange Mode" for GMail. That would allow your iPhone to sync calendars, contacts and email with GMail just fine. Doing the same with your outlook should also then sync those same with your PC using Outlook. I've done teh iPhone side of this, but I since I don't run Lookout for my email client, I'm not sure how that will work on the PC side.

1) That sounds like a strange translation. But basically, it wants to connect to Exchange and it's complaining.
2) You can attempt to go to Tools->Options->Personal and set Personal Information Manager to None, and in Lync Management Shell run set-csclientpolicy

There may be more, I've never tried to completely disable Exchange features from Lync.

I developed a really simple app in Flash Pro CC for android. I published it using AIR 13.0 for Android. When I tried to install it I received the Parse Error: "There was a problem parsing this package"
Im not sure if the problem has something to do with my app xml file, but here it is:

try saving your fla and the published files to a new directory and see if the error resolves.

I am running Windows Vista Business 32-bit on a fresh installation of Windows. I have reloaded iTunes 10 and updated my library from a backup I had on my server. I continue to recieve the following error when I try to download a new album that I purchased.

Crucial M4 SSD MBP "There was a problem installing Mac OS X" Try Reinstalling

So I have an extra ssd. I decide to put it in my MPB mid or late 2009 to give it some extra life.
I am doing a fresh install from a thumb drive. The macbook find the partition and boots into the installer. about 10 seconds into progress bar this appears: "There was a problem installing mac os x" Try reinstalling.
The progress bar goes away.
The thumb drive is good... it installed on my mother's laptop just fine.
I have the ssd in the place of the old Hdd until my adapter comes around to put one of them in the opti bay.
Does anyone have any ideas or has seen this before?

I forgot to mention a fresh mountain lion install. The M4 has latest firmware as of today.

Ethernet port as a bridge to the wireless network

The short answer, would be Yes.
The longer answer requires setting up the computer in the correct
way to do so; and hope that any advice to going there was followed.
And knowing more about your hardware situation may yield better
or easier answers; a better solution to using all the computers.
You can share a network connection through use of settings in the
appropriate System Preferences panels. Other sharing preferences
would probably have to be checked and if necessary, changed.
I never change anything that just works, without good reason, and
so far, since I have no need to share between my computers by wire
or wireless, I have not done so. I do have files on external hard drives
and on USB Flash Drives, and can put stuff on CD & DVD media.
Given that, I don't network my computers over AirPort, Ethernet, or
by FireWire, etc. But others here do. Your HelpViewer in the Mac
can tell you how to network or share internet over ethernet, etc.
More information on your situation is needed to propose answers.

Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
Unlock the padlock
Locations: Automatic
Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

No internet connection (wireless)
Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

Time Capsule to join existing wireless network

Hi All,
I have a question, as despite experimenting and reading all I can find on the subject I am no closer to a definite answer.
I have the old 500gb Time Capsule (802.11n non-simultanious version).
I presently have a BT HomeHub 2.0 as my wifi router downstairs, and use a Linksys WRT54GS to connect to the network SSID provided by the HomeHub. All my desktop machines, etc are then connected into the 10/100 switch in the WRT54GS, giving them access to the WiFi network.
Ideally I wanted to replace the WRT54GS with my Time Capsule, so that my desktop machines upstairs plug into the 10/100/1000 ethernet ports on the Time Capsule, which is then in-turn connected wirelessly to the BT HomeHub downstairs for Internet access. (The benefit of this being increased speed thanks to the 802.11n technology in the HomeHub and Time Capsule).
Sadly, the Time Capsule does not seem to like connecting to the HomeHub's SSID, each time giving me the flashing amber light. Normally, I would simply re-configure the network so the BT HomeHub connects to an SSID provided by the Time Capsule, but my version of the HomeHub is not capable of doing this, or using a WDS type setup.
WiFi signal strength is good where the Time Capsule is located, the network is using WPA/WPA2 mixed authentication, and other devices can connect to the SSID.
Any help on this is much appreciated,

When the Time Capsule "joins" a wireless network, (which is the only way that it could connect to the HomeHub network unless you use ethernet) the ethernet ports on the device are not active. When you configure the TC to "join", it really takes on the function of a wireless backup device, nothing more.
The Time Capsule cannot be configured for a WDS type arrangement with your HomeHub because it is not compatible.
If you want to connect the Time Capsule to the HomeHub and have the Time Capsule create a wireless network, then you must use an ethernet cable from one of the LAN ports on your HomeHub to the WAN port on the Time Capsule and configure the TC to act as a "bridge".
If you are unable to run an ethernet cable, the next option would be to use ethernet powerline adapters to use the wiring in your home to transmit the ethernet signal.

Join a wireless network vs Establish WDS

I recently purchased 1 extreme and 3 express.
What is difference between "joining" wireless network and "establishing" a WDS?
I just want to extend the wifi wireless network and won't be using iTunes or speaker or printer sharing.
Can I have one express join extreme's wireless network and have the other two expess establish a WDS?
Or, I can only choose one type, either joining or establish for all 3 expresses?
In WDS, is this correct "extreme" -> "express (main)" -> "express(remote)"? And if I want to extend more I would add anther "express(relay)", right? Can I log on wirelessly to "express(relay"? Or, only remote and main has wifi connection function?
And, does placing the express horizontal or vertically affect the range? Which is better?

Here are the basic steps to configuring for a static WDS with the newer 802.11n AirPorts:
AEBSn - WDS Setup
(Note: To facilitate the WDS set up, temporarily connect the remote (& relay) base station(s) to the AEBSn by Ethernet during the set up phase, and then, relocate it to the desired location when complete. Also, jot down the AirPort IDs (MAC addresses) for each of the base stations to be used in the WDS. The AirPort ID and is printed on the label on the bottom/side of the base station.)
Main Base Station Setup - AEBSn
o Click the AirPort status menu in the menu bar and choose the wireless network created by the base station you want to set up as the main base station.
o Open AirPort Utility (located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, or in Start > All Programs > AirPort on a computer using Windows).
o Select the main base station, and then, choose Manual Setup from the Base
Station menu.
o Enter the base station password if necessary. If the base station is using the default password of public, you will not be prompted for a password.
o Click Wireless in the toolbar, and then, choose “Participate in a WDS network” from the Wireless Mode pop-up menu. Note: You will need to hold down the Option key in order to get this option on the AEBSn, 802.11n AirPort Express Base Station (AXn), or Time Capsule (TC).
o Click WDS and then, choose “WDS main” from the WDS Mode pop-up menu.
o Select the “Allow wireless clients” checkbox if you want client computer to connect to this base station.
o Click the Add "+" button and enter the AirPort ID of the base station you want to connect to this base station.
o Click Update to send the new settings to the base stations in the WDS.
Remote Base Station Setup - AX#2
o Open AirPort Utility; select the remote base station, and then, choose Manual Setup from the Base Station menu.
o Enter the base station password, if necessary.
o Enter the same network password as the main base station, if necessary.
o Click AirPort in the toolbar, and then, click Wireless. Choose “Participate in a WDS network” from the Wireless Mode pop-up menu, and then, choose the same channel as the main base station from the Channel pop-up menu.
o Click WDS and choose “WDS remote” 0from the pop-up menu.
o Enter the AirPort ID of the main base station in the WDS Main field.
o Click Update to transfer the settings to the base station.
Relay Base Station Setup - AX#1
o Open AirPort Utility; select the relay base station, and then, choose Manual Setup from the Base Station menu.
o Enter the same network password as the main base station, if necessary.
o Click AirPort in the toolbar, and then, click Wireless. Choose “Participate in a WDS network” from the Wireless Mode pop-up menu, and then, choose the same channel as the main base station from the Channel pop-up menu.
o Click WDS and choose “WDS relay” from the WDS Mode pop-up menu.
o Enter the AirPort ID of the main base station in the Main AirPort ID field.
o Click the Add "+" button and enter the AirPort ID of the remote base station this relay base station will connect to.
o Click Update to transfer the new WDS settings to the relay and remote base stations.
