now, the JScrollPane drive me mad..
I add a JPanel into a JScrollPane object
(the JPane's size is larger than the JScrollPane's),
then add the JScrollPane into a JTabbedPane.
when it run,
parts of the content(Example:some words) in the JPanel
would display in the JTabbedPane..
It is no use calling the "repaint".
so,I set the JScrollPane "getViewport().setScrollMode.
JViewport.BACKINGSTORE_SCROLL_MODE)",
this time,it displays properly.
but,another question appears,
scrolling become very slow.
give me a hand.

I means the text that should be displayed in the
JPanel displayed out of the bounds of the JPanel.
though I use "repaint()",
those text wrong displayed still there.
so,I change the method,
calling "myJScrollPane.getViewport().setScrollMode(JViewport.BACKINGSTORE_SCROLL_MODE)",
in this way,there aren't text wrong displayed.
but ,scrolling the JPanel become very very slow.
In jdk1.3's doc,it tell me " it requires a large
chunk of extra RAM".
there are 256M RAM in my PC.
how much RAM it need?

I've been losing some apps also in the Dock. As Niel said I think is that you may be able to just drag them back to the Dock, if you can find them.
What I do is open Launchpad and while you're in there, drag the application to the Dock. If you can't locate the apps, then disregard this post.

my computer had a virus and got scrubbed. So now my iTunes songs are on my iPhone4 but I can't get them all back on my iTunes account. Anybody know what I should do? I see 124 songs on my itunes account and 1123 on my iphone. Really would hate to lose them

I downloaded movies onto my iPad to watch when I was abroad, I synchronised with my laptop and now they are not on my iPad how can I get them back?
If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced. -

If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply.

If your iPod is set to update automatically take care when connecting to a different computer if your current one is out of commission. You will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. -
The files are ON the iPod, but I can't get at them
I had my iPod plugged in overnight to charge, and Windows downloaded an update and automatically restarted itself. When I woke up, my iPod was telling me there were no files on it, and iTunes was telling me to reformat the iPod. This wouldn't be such a big deal, except that, like most people, half the stuff on my iPod isn't on my hard drive because my hard drive is too small.
I've tried the free software that will let you transfer files from your iPod into iTunes, but because the files aren't showing up on the iPod, they're not working with those programs either.
When I go into the actual disk drive through My Computer and read the BOOTEX text document, it says this:

Thanks in advance for any help!Hi. The programs that transfer from the iPod to the PC generally rely on the folder structure being undamaged which sadly is not the case here. How many tracks were on your iPod? 2800 sounds a little shy if that's got to include all the artwork & other iPod control files. If you're lucky each recovered "lost chain" represents a single file. The trouble is working out what the fle type is. With a hex editor and a bit of detective work you could probably spot the diference between mp3 & aac files etc. If you give them the correct file extension they could then be imported into an iTunes libray set to consolidate tracks which would give them sensible filenames again. It might be possible, but it ain't going to be easy or quick....

New to all this upload stuff so pls excuse me ! So my computer had to be refreshed, I had ripped my CD's to iTunes and also purchased some, the purchased ones are still on iTunes but all of the ones that I had ripped have gone. I have them on my iphone 5, is there a way to put all of the music from the iphone back on to itunes? Have tried "Googling" without success have tried a converter app but still no joy. PLS HELP !!!

I have a new computer (Windows 7), saved my itunes from old computer onto an external drive. I have been able to back up all my music files, all my podcasts, but only part of my video/movie files came through and no playlists.
I held down "shift" and opened iTunes, then clicked "Choose Library" and it seemed to copy but was missing the videos & playlists
Help!You need to connect it to a computer with an internet connection and with itunes installed. You may be able to restore it via iTunes on the computer. What exactly did you do when you "reset" the iPod? You may have to place the iPod in recoverymode in order to get iItunes to see the iPod. For recovery mode see:

ok..so you can only have a certain number of computers you have like sharing the same account or whatever.. well ive used all of those and all of the computers have like crashed or something has happened to them..so i cant disconnect iTunes from those computers..so ive got a new computer..so how do i put all of the songs i have on this computer if all my home sharing things are used?.. and also, my iPhone has all of the songs on it.. so is there a way i could download them to the computer off my iPhone?.. and ive tried syncing my iPhone to iTunes, but it doesnt put the songs on the computer.

They were both functioning fine yesterday, but after the v.11 download today they aren't being recognised. Can anyone help me to get them syncing again? I am using an iMac, Mac OS X v.10.7.5, if thats of any significance.
Disconnect your devices then reboot your computer.
Before connecting your devices again reboot your devices. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

hiu i have an ipod which shares same itunes/icloud account as my iphone. i deleted the contacts off ipod and they have now gone off my phone too. anyone help, how can iget these back on my phone?
When you share an iCloud account between devices, any action you take on one device (such as deleting contacts) is synced to the others. (That's want iCloud does; syncs data across devices, keeping the data on the devices the same.)
The only way to recover them now is to try restoring your device to your last backup, or restore them from another backup source.
