Third party SFP optics on a ONS15216 DWDM Mux solution

We have an existing DWDM network utilising 15216-SC-4B band splitters and 15216-FLA-8 8 port Mux filters. The devices connected to the filters already are an ONS15454 with MXP_MR_10DME and some 10GE Xenpaks in 6509s.
We need to connect in some Brocade SAN Switches as these are the only ones supported for a Netapp metrocluster solution. We have two options for this:-
1. Purchase 6 x MXP_MR_10DME cards at great expense
2. Add another pair of 8 port MUXs on the next available band and use third pary SFPs that are supported in the Brocade. Smartoptics make a 4Gb FC DWDM 100Ghz SFP which is ITU-T standard. Is there any reason I cannot patch these Smartoptics SFPs through a Cisco 15216-FLA-8 mux? Will this be supported?

If I am not wrong ur network is like cisco network- Third party network.
If the problem is related to errors etc I think u can figure out where the problem is and either cisco/third party then have to take care to the problem.
Only problem I see is when optics goes bad. It can be bad of any fault in that equipment or by other equipment. Sometimes power level can go up to a level not accepted by receiver

Hi guys,
The original optical drive in my Mac Pro (2006, MacPro 1,1) has failed and I need to replace it. My questions is does the replacement explicitly have to state OS X/Mac compatibility? PATA drives are getting harder to come by, let alone Apple compatible drives, but for all I know OS X will pick up any IDE drive just fine. Anyone know for sure?

well, not 100%, but I can tell you my experience, fwiw. My mom's husband's PC was dying and I was working on getting the old hard drive out and the photos off of it, which I managed to do (with some help). He said I could take whatever was left, so for a laugh, I grabbed the LiteOn dvd burner that was in there and put it in my Mac Pro (3.1, I think). Surprisingly enought it worked just fine, didn't need anything else. I put it in bay 2, plugged in the power and data cable, set it to cable select, and was good to go. It lasted a few years, but these things do wear out eventually, and no, it didn't say anything about OS X/Mac compatibility. so, my opinion is as follows: Go for it. It ought to work. How can I have SAP to identify third party new hires as a new employee?

Situation:
Our company has changed our vacation quota policy for new hires. In 2011, new hires did not receive any vacation their first year. In 2012, that policy has changed to give them vacation based on how many months are left in the year. Example:
If hired Jan 1 - June 30 = 80 hrs, July 1 - Oct 31 = 40 hrs, Nov = 24 hrs, Dec = 0 hrs. I have configured the Rules for Generating Absence Quotas to make this happen, however we've discovered a slight problem.
If a new hire has never been in our system, the logic works perfectly, however, in the case of third party employees, they are already in the system, thus have a Actions infotype with their third party onboarding hire date. At this point they are defined as employee group = 3. After 90 days, we hire them as a production employee, employee group = P, so now they are now a company employee. When they process through the generation rules, the system does not recognize they are a new hire employee because it uses their Actions entry date based on their third party onboarding entry.
Question:
When determining seniority, I'd like the system to use their third pary new hire action and not the third party onboarding action. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?

I did create a rule to determine if anyone coming through time eval is a new hire based on vacation elig. date in IT0041. It compares Today to the vacation elig. date and if they match, set a time type indicator to 1. I also added another decision to determine if they were a part time employee and pro-rate their quota entitlement based on what's in their IT0007 weekly working hours. Instead of setting the time type indicator to 1, I recalculated based on a percentage of 40 hrs/wk and then updated the time type to that percentage. In my quota generation rule I use that time type as a multiplication factor to recalculate their new pro-rated amount rounded up to the nearest whole number.

Delivery status for third-party-sales

Hello,
because of a customizing error our US colleagues created several sales orders with a open delivery status even no delivery is requested for third-party sales orders.
Does someone know a solution how to complete these documents without creating the delivery note? We now changed the schedule line category to solve the problem for the future but we have to find also a solution for the existing documents. Our colleagues want to change the table for VA05 to deselect the item category third-party. But in my opinion we have to complete the documents it selves.

put a Reason for rejection in sales order and save the document. you no longer can use these documents.

De-activate EXE License using Third-Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit

Is there a way to de-activate a license file using the functions in the TPLA toolkit? I'm using LV2011 and installed the toolkit. I've called the IP2Lib32.dll successfully to activate but it does not have a way to de-activate manually. To de-activate automatically, I run: myProgram.exe\ DEACTIVATE but this doesn't allow for the de-activation to occur from another computer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

He is referencing the Third Party License Toolkit from NI, not some third party licensing! I can't give a solution to his problem, as I know that Toolkit only marginally but it seems to me he wants to use that Toolkit to license his own library and have a way to revoke a license for that library.

Material third party

some materials are stocked, but if got a big sales order the
material send to customer directly from vendor,
if it's not a big order (quantity), we send it from stock/warehouse.
(this material can be as third party or stock item).
If I setup item category as BANS, is it possible
to purchase for stock? if yes, What happen
during the order processing ? (use stock or

i think this can be done by BANS as item category group in MM01
and in VOV4 item category assignment
orbanstas+tan can solve the problem
tas in dfltc=default item category
tan in mlitc= manual item category
while creating sales order manually change the item category to tas and and enter the quantity to be purchased in the second line
for example if u have a stock of 50 goods and a customer places order for 100
then in sales order first enter materil with 50 quantity
and in second line enter materil with 50 qty and change the item category tan to tas
please check i am not sure

Third-party optical drives

I had a Mad Dog CD/DVD burner sitting around, so I decided to throw it into the second bay. It worked at first, but it quickly stopped responding, and any program that tries to access the optical drives freezes up. Is the Mac Pro just not compatible with third-party drives?
Both drives are set to Cable Select. I'll try setting the first one to master, and the second one to slave and see if that makes the problem disappear.

When you say programs freeze when they try to access the drives do you mean both drives? And do you mean even to use them to read? If it's both drives that does sound like a problem with how the drives are jumpered, although cable select should work. Maybe the problem is with the Mad Dog drive not liking to be set that way.
Any drive you put in the system should work as a reader under 10.4.10, Patchburn is generally used to allow a newer drive to work with an older version of the OS and with the I-Apps to burn. But you are already running 10.4.10, which should see that drive - and we know it did see the drive. Under System Profiler, what does it say for the drive About this mac > more info >hardware >disc burning. It may not say Mad Dog, since they put their name on other people's drives, but I'd be curious as to what it says under burn support. That will give us a good idea to what degree the system is going to work with the drive.
There is always the possibility that the Mad Dog is dying. If symptoms return in the master/slave configuration that may have been the problem all along.
Let's hope that's not the case.

GLC-GE-100FX and GLC-T is not supported as documented in the 3560C Data Sheet.
You could try contacting your Cisco SE/AM and request for a Product Enhancement Request (PER).

In case of automatic po creation from third party order we have attach purchase organization and vendor to sales organization. This restrict only one vendor against sales organization.
Is any BADI available which we can use which to change vedor dynamically ?

Dear Vasant,
For automatic PO at the time of GR following are the prerequisites:
1) In Customizing
a) Auto PO generation must be activated in Mov. Type 101 & 161
b) the plant for which GR is entered must be assigned to standard Pur. Org.
c) Default Document type for PO must be specified in GR ( MB 01)
2) Application - Front end side
a) material must be valuated material
b) Purchasing Info record must exist for vendor , material & standard Pur Org.
c) Conditions in Info Records must be valid.
d) Applicable for stock items & not consumable items
e) you cannot enter any movement in GR block stock
f) Material Master & vendor master records must.
If you ensure all above settings then it is possible to have auto PO during GR.

I was trying to activate the functionalty for statistical GR in third party but STUCK due to following issues. For enabling this functionaltity I have checked "Goods Reciept" and "GR Non-Valuated" check in "Delivery tab" of PO.
1. After creating Statistical GR through MIGO (101), stock has been posted in plant. I was expecting no movement in Stock .
2. I was hoping there should not be in FI posting but FI entry is posted through statistical GR .
We are using third party process from many years but without statistical GR. Requirement from client is to post statistical GR without FI entry and no stock should be updated. Please advise if anyone has idea on this.
FYI--We have item category TAS and schedule line category CS in customisation. Also advise if above two settings in PO are enought to turn ON the statistical GR functionality.

As advised , pleae find enclosed screens for OMS2, PO and FI entry. FI entry might be wrong as while posting MIGO ..I was getting error "WE etnry is missing in table YFTFI_SUBST236 and I maintained some dummy GL accounts.
