This bank statement header contains no statement lines to reconcile

HI All,
In 11.5.9 while laoding the bank statement(using 'Bank statement Loader') we get following error in Autoreconciliation report.
'This bank statement header contains no statement lines to reconcile.'
We checked all the setup, nothing is missing.
In the data file the transaction code, bank account number etc all things are fine.
Any idea what could be the reason for this error?
Thanks in advance,
Anant Nimbalkar.

Hi Alexander,
this is the wrong forum, the folks here usually discuss SAP Cloud Appliance Library related topics.
Unlukily I have no authorizations to move your question to the correct forum ;-(
Therefore you should ask your question again either in the SAP ByDesign SCN space (SAP Business ByDesign) or via OSS ticket through the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com).

  • Bank statement lines are unreconciled status even after the auto recon

In Cash Management, Bank Statements Loaded, Imported and Reconciled, but for the AP Transactions bank accounts there are few statement lines that are in unreconciled status and few are in reconciled status.
IN bank statement line the Error code was : No matching payment, No matching Open Interface transactions, No matching payment batch,

    Hi,
    1) please check whether you are using the correct bank statement for reconciliation in case if you have multiple bank accounts / Statements.
    2) Check whether the payments that were unreconciled were all functional currency or foreign currency payments ...in which case exchange rates might be causing this ..

  • CM Open Interface - reference back to original bank statement line

we are using Open Interface for our bank reconciliation. we found that, the API APPS.CE_999_PKG.clear always send us the Open Interface Transaction amount as the cleared amount, and we have no visibility to the amount in the bank statement line.
    eg:
    bank statement line is $100
if a user manually reconcile this line with an open interface transaction line with amount $200, the status will changed to reconciled and the cleared amount is $200.
the cleared amount passed through the API to our customize program also $200.
how can we get the amount $100?
we are doing some GL posting for the cleared amount. getting $200 will caused us to do over post, as the amount we received only $100 (bank statement line amount)

    Hi All,
I found this article, which explains about the bank statement mappings.
*Mapping BAI2, SWIFT Bank Statement Format Masking: BANK_ACCOUNT_NUM, BANK_TRX_NUMBER, BANK_ACCOUNT_TEXT, Agent Bank account number And Others [ID 752532.1]*
Based on this I defined a new bank statment mapping by coping the existing BAI2 mapping.
The only change I had to do was to change the position of the BANK_TRX_NUMBER to -2 and my problem got resolved.
Below is the question and answer as per the document.
Q2: Why following BAI2 datafile needs bank statement mapping as:
    BANK_TRX_NUMBER 16 -2 and not -1?
    16,581,156500,Z,813009392186700,000000002004/
    A2:
The bank statement mapping you give to populate depends on where the BANK_TRX_NUMBER is in the data file: Example:
Rec 16 structure is as follows:
    16,<transaction code>,<amount>,<funds type>,<bank ref #>,<customer ref #>,<text>/
    In the rec:16,581,156500,Z,813009392186700,000000002004/
while the NUMBER appears to be -1 position however the text is assumed missing here and hence the
    BANK_TRX_NUMBER 16 -2 will work.

  • Match bank statement lines across mutliple operating units

    Hello,
We need the ability to reconcile bank statement lines from a single bank account with transactions across multiple operating units. Any ideas how I can do this in Oracle R12?
    Thanks for your help.

Horrible code. If defies logic and basic Oracle concepts...
Why even use a package when monolithic cr@p like this is written?
What is wrong with this code you may ask? Everything.
What is right with this code? Nothing.
How to fix this code? Cannot be fixed. It needs to be trashed. Every single infected byte. And new code needs to be designed and written that addresses the requirements logically, adheres to Oracle concepts, and applies fundamental software engineering principles.

  • Choose Posting Date when entering Bank Statement

    Version: 2007A SP00 PL49 (and newer)
Problem: Because of SAP note 1296726, you have to use the bank statement date as the posting date for the corresponding journal entries and reconciliations.  This is not flexible: if I have a bank statement of 24/06/2009 and I want to reconcile an invoice with posting date 30/06/2009, I get an error: "Reconciliation date must be on or after the last posting date for
transactions selected for reconciliation Message 3821-3".  Using 30/06/2009 as posting date for this particular row is not possible because the posting date of the bank statement is 24/06/2009 and you will get the same error again because you reconcile that row JE with the total bank statement JE at date 24/06/2009 containing a journal entry on 30/06/2009 (namely that row JE).
Since PL49 and the fix of SAP note 1296726, it is no longer possible to use a different posting date and bank statement date and this is the main cause of the problem above.
Current Workaround: Don't reconcile the invoice when entering the bank statement and do this manually after you have finalized the bank statement.
Proposed solution: Make an extra field "posting date bank statement" in the "Bank Statement Details" window where the user can choose on which day he can post his bank statement (just like in other documents like invoices, ...).  In the problem described above the user could choose 30/06/2009 as the posting date, but keeping 24/06/2009 as the statement date.

This is true. I completely agree with that.

I'm not a business man, but an IT expert.  But as far as I know, your approach is correct.
Before we used SAP in our company, our previous accounting software made only one journal post for each Bank statement.  This way, the (series) numbering of the journal posts correspond to the bank statement numbers.

  • R12 CE Bank Statement Reconciliation issues.

We are about to setup Cash Management on r12.
AP and GL are already up and running.
I have a couple of questions:
    1. I checked user guide of matching criteria for General Ledger Journals, but it's only the Journal entries that refer to line description as the only matching criteria, is this the only one? No date and amount?
    2. How can reconcile the multiple bank statement lines be matched against one subledger transaction. ie Journal? (manually or automatically).
I am very new to this, could you anyone guide me how to proceed.
Thanks in advance for your help!

  • CE Bank Statement Auto-Reconciliation failure

    Hey guys,
We have this problem about auto-recon not finding a match even if the bank statement line has an equivalent available
transaction for reconciliation. I am guessing it doesn't refer to the amount as the matching criteria. I checked Oracle support but it's only the Journal entries that refer to line description as the only matching criteria and I have AR lines that are not auto reconciled.
    What am I missing?
How do I set the matching criteria, be it AP, AR or JE??
I'm sorry if these are such newbie questions..
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello.
    Does this helps you?
Matching Bank Statement Lines with Transactions
Reconciling bank statements in Cash Management has two major steps: matching and
    clearing.
    • Matching: Match a bank statement line against a Payables payment, Receivables
receipt, Payroll payment, miscellaneous transaction, or open interface transaction
using a transaction number (such as the payment or deposit number), bank
account, amount, and currency. You can match a statement line against a Treasury
settlement using date and amount. You can also match a statement line against a
General Ledger journal entry. You can match a bank statement against a Payroll EFT
payment by using transaction number and date.
If matching criteria are not met, the statement line remains unmatched.
For manual reconciliation, there are no restrictions for matching statement lines
    and transactions.
    • Clearing: Clear the transactions that are matched to the bank statement line, if the
transactions have not been cleared previously. Only Payables payments, Receivables
receipts, miscellaneous transactions, and open interface transactions can be
cleared. Reconciled Payroll payments and General Ledger journal entries are
    matched but not cleared.

  • Autoreconcile many statement lines against payment batch

    Hi all,
I'm trying to reconcile many bank statement lines against one payment batch via the Autoreconcilation report. But is this possible? If yes, what are the steps which i should follow?
First of all i created invoices in AP, validate and account them. Then i submit Payment Process Request and the payment is created successfully. Then i have lines in Cash Management with data associated to the invoices which i paid before. But when i start Autoreconcilation report the status of the lines is still 'Unreconciled'. In the Statement lines i populate BANK_TRX_NUMBER field with the number of the payment batch, in the CUSTOMER_TEXT field i populate the value with the supplier and in the INVOICE_TEXT field i populate the value with the invoice number which is already paid by the PPR.
I have Reconciliation Exceptions as follows:
Statement line amount is not within the tolerance range How to solve this? I set the Reconcilation options and the tolerance range and if i submit the autoreconcilation program to reconcile one line with one payment it is working fine but when they are more than 1 line against 1 payment ?
    EBS Version : 12.1.3.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bahchevanov.

  • Bank Statement processing on wrong date recall

    Hello,
The customer has booked one bankstatement on today and it should have been booked on 31-12-2008.
Is there somebody who can tell how to correct this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Paul van Vliet

    Paul
There is no way of manually changing the statement date once the the bank statement has been finalized.  If it is really important for this to be changed then I would recommend that you approach the support desk.
The question here however is what exactly needs to be changed.
So for example if the posting date definition for the bank transactions in this bank statement was set by posting date then the postings will need to be cancelled and then regenerated at the correct date - i.e. in this case 31-12-2008.
There is no simple procedure which reverses a bank statement.  From the bank statement you could drill down to each individual payment/journal entry document and cancel each one.  However please note that even if you do this there will be no impact on the previously finalized bank statement.  In addition any new bank statement will carry forward the balance from the previous statement.  This actually could be handled by creating a bank transaction line to reflect the opposite of the balance movement of the previous statement e.g. payment and then finalize the bank statement, following which this payment is cancelled.
I have given you some suggestion based on some assumptions made of your current position but the real recommendation is for you to contact the support desk.
I hope you find a satisfactory solution soon.

  • Manual bank statement status "being posted"

    Hi guys,
We are using manual bank statement. We have created one statement, posted it, but the status in ff67 is still "being posted".
The accounting document has been created correctly; we have checked the corresponding bank account with FS10N and the amounts were posted.
In FEBAN the system displays a yellow triangle next to this statement.
Is there something we can do to corrcet the status?
    Thanks
    Ionut

    Hi Ionut,
Please, use the program RFEBKA90 to set correct status of this
    bank statement:
    tr. SE38 -> Program: RFEBKA90
    Enter parameters:
    ID:
    Change Status: 8
    (SAP note 15759).
Then FEBKO-ASTAT will be 8 'Posting complete'.
Incorrect bank statement status could be caused by system terminations etc.
Also, you can review the note 1546009.

table to see the link between line items on bank statement to customer invoices

    Hi,
There is no link from VBRP to BSEG directly.
This is because the data in BSEG is posted to various accounts and the VBRP is usually for a Sales Order or Delivery.
However there is a link from BKPF to VBRK and VBRK is linked to VBRP.
BKPF-AWKEY has the the Invoice number VBRK-VBELN
    Hope this helps.

  • Manual Bank Statement - Upload of line items

    Hi,
We are trying to implement Manual Bank Statement for a specific client. We are not going for electronic bank statement, taking into consideration fewer number of transactions in the month.
The bank statement for the month has approx 40-50 transactions/line items.
The format for entering data in manual bank statement is - Transaction type, Value date, Amount, Document no.
My client intends to create this format in Excel, and upload all the 50 line items at one stretch. But only 21 line items are getting uploaded at single instance.
Also, after inserting row, only one row is inserted at a time. This process would be time consuming.
Is there a solution whereby the entire 50 line items are entered at one stretch in manual bank statement
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
The copy paste does not work in FF67. Only first column gets copied and then you have to copy paste column wise. This is limitation is SAP standard transaction and is not modifiable.
LSMW will not help much as the records to be uploaded in the same statement and paage down can not be handled in LSMW.
Your ABAPer need to record the transaction in SHDB and the can create a custom program to upload the excel using that recording. This is easy for programming point of view.
