Three Levels of Hierarchy in REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY

Hi All,
Can we have a Three levels of Hierarchy in the function module REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY. I know we can have a two levels like Header and Item. If any other function module is available for this please let me know.
Requirement is :-
First Level - Maintainence Order
Second Level - Operations related to MO
Third level - Components related to operations
Thanks in advance.
Pankaj

Hai Pankaj,
I think it is not possible, you can have only two levels only. Header / Line Item only.

    oops sorry if i sounded vague....
    using jdev version 11g
    well I am trying to use the hierarchy viewer data visualization component to create a hierarchy which shows the managers and employees below them.
    am using a single query based VO which has two columns manager and employee.
    then created a self view link with that vo
    the data control looks something like
    manager(first level)
    ----manager or employee(first level)
    ---------employee(third level)
    I am dragging entire data control on the page so that the create hierarchy viewer option appears.
    from there I am stuck...
    when I am running the page, I am getting just two levels...the last level is not showing up :(.....

  • WAD Problem: data below 6th level of Hierarchy is not displaying.

    Hello Experts,
    I am executing a template in the portal and while giving selections for particular 'cost element' in the selection screen, the message is coming saying no records available.
    There are 9 levels of hierarchy and up to 6 levels the data is coming properly but for the remaining three levels the data is not coming although records are present for the other three levels as well. While the same query with same selection is working fine in RSRT/ Analyzer.
    Please help me out.
    I am new to WAD also please let me know if there is any settings for dispalying hier. node in WAD.
    Thanks in advance.

    If you just want to display the Hierarchy Level (not filter or sort by it), try just turning on the display of the attribute on the query and/or report, instead of making it a navigational attribute.
    Hope this helps...

  • OBIEE BI Answers: Wrong Aggregation Measures on top level of hierarchy

    Hi to all,
    I have following problem. I hope to be clear in my English because it's a bit complicated to explain.
    I have following fact table:
    Drug Id Ordered Quantity
    1 9
    2 4
    1 3
    2 2
    and following Drug Table:
    Drug Brand Id Brand Description Drug Active Ingredient Id Drug Active Ingredient Description
    1 Aulin 1 Nimesulide
    2 Asprina 2 Acetilsalicilico
    In AWM i've defined a Drug Dimension based on following hierarchy: Drug Active Ingredient (parent) - Drug Brand Description (leaf) mapped as:
    Drug Active Ingredient = Drug Active Ingredient Id of my Drug Table (LONG DESCRIPTION Attribute=Drug Active Ingredient Description)
    Drug Brand Description = Drug Brand Id of my Drug Table (LONG DESCRIPTION Attribute = Drug Brand Description)
    Indeed in my cube I've mapped leaf level Drug Brand Description = Drug Id of my fact table. In AWM Drug Dimension is mapped as Sum Aggregation Operator
    If I select on Answers Drug Active Ingredient (parent of my hierarchy) and Ordered Quantity I see following result
    Drug Active Ingredient Description Ordered Quantity
    Acetilsalicilico 24
    Nimesulide 12
    indeed of correct values
    Drug Active Ingredient Description Ordered Quantity
    Acetilsalicilico 12
    Nimesulide 6
    EXACTLY the double!!!!!!! But if I drill down Drug Active Ingredient Description Acetilsalicilico I see correctly:
    Drug Active Ingredient Description Drug Brand Description Ordered Quantity
    Acetilsalicilico
    - Aspirina 12
    Total 12
    Wrong Aggregation is only on top level of hierarchy. Aggregation on lower level of hierarchy is correct. Maybe Answers sum also Total Row????? Why?????
    I'm frustrated. I beg your help, please!!!!!!!!

  • Fiori Like Custom Launchpad - Two/Three levels of tiles

    Hi All ,
    We are trying to expose our developed custom UI5 applications to the end user in a Custom Launchpad similar to the standard one .
    We are trying to have two or three levels of tiles where there will be 4 tiles on the first level . Clicking on a tile in level 1 will bring up 4 tiles in level 2  and clicking on any of these Level 2 tiles will bring up 3 more tiles in level 3 .
    Can someone guide me as to how to achieve this . I have already created catalogs with tiles . I have also created groups and assigned tiles to groups as well. All this works fine . What I cannot figure out is how to create the 3 level hierarchy . I believe there should be something like a group inside a group / catalog inside a catalog but cannot figure out how to achieve this .
    TIA ,
    Himanshu

  • Custom Drill from the last level of Hierarchy

    I have a dimension hierarchy STAGE which has five levels L1 -> L2 -> L3 -> L4 -> L5
    and my fact table have 5 measure columns say M1 , M2 , M3 , M4 , M5 along with the dimension columns .
    My requiremetn is to show only the top level hierarchy and one measure column initially:
    L1 -- M1
    now user have to drill from L1 to L5
    L1 L2 M1
    L1 L2L3-- M1
    L1 L2L3--L4-- M1
    L1 L2L3--L4--L5-- M1
    by default when the user comes at the last level of hierarchy or the hyperlink to drill futrter gets disabled.
    Now my requirement is to show the detail report when the user comes at the last level and the there should be a link on it. when the user will clink on the last level link it should open below report :
    L1 L2L3--L4--L5--D1--D2--D3--D4--D5--M1--M2--M3--M4--M5
    D1-D5 are other dimension columns which are connected to Fact Table.
    Any suggestions??

    Abhiiiiiii wrote:
    Navigation is also a problem here since the column is coming coming runtime(after drill).What i told u is to use the navigation option insted of drill. So you need to create five reports each one for the particular hierarchy. and set the navigartion target as next level report in the hierarchy. Yes it is not the optiumum solution. But if you dont want the other two solutions given above you need to go with this only.

  • How many levels of hierarchy is supported in AII?

    hi,
      i heard that the mobile UI supports only two levels of hierarchy...
    otherwise is it possible to have Container-Pallet-Case-Item such hierarchy?
    thanks,
    vinoth

    Vinod,
    I believe multi-level tagging can only be done in stages. If you are not using a UI then a PML notification from a device controller can acheive packing hierarchies 2 at a time. So if you want to pack an item in a case and then the case in the pallet. You will have to first build the case to item hierarchy and then case to pallet hierarchy. I dont think the sequence matters and I beleive you can accomplish the same thing using a handheld- it would just be extremely tedious.
    The hierachy will built via the PML notification based on pack levels (filter values) or the SSCC tag in the PML. Hope this helps

  • How do I structure Information in three Levels in MDM 7.1?

    Hi,
    I am creating a Service Catalogue for a customer. They require three levels in the catalogue: "Packed Services" that are built up by several "Services", that can have several "Supporting Services".
    I am thinking  of using two main tables, and tuples to create BOS for Packed Service and Service. But how should I take care of the lowest level? They wish to be able to order Supporting Services separatly, so I dont think i can put it in a Qualified field in the Service Main Table.
    How about Relationships? Are they on the way out?
    Any suggestions? Is there other ways to structure data in MDM 7.1?

  • HANA level based Hierarchy is not displaying in AOLAP

    Hi all,
    I have created a level based Hierarchy in HANA which I have been able to display in Excel using a HANA MDX Provider connection:
    However when I try to use the Hierarchy in Analysis for OLAP I am unable to see it, instead the dimensions are flat:
    I have used an OLAP connection to HANA which otherwise appears to be working correctly.
    We are on SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 1 Version: 14.1.1.1036.  and HANA 1.00.69.01.386065.
    If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Steve Willis.

    Hi Stephen,
    This should be possible. In my environment, I'm able to access both the flat and hierarchical presentations for a dimension, if I expand the dimension in the tree (see screenshot). I have noticed that the flat presentation is the default. However, if I expand and drag the appropriate hierarchy, I am seeing the hierarchy in the crosstab.
    Are you able to expand the dimension and access the hierarchy?
    Best regards,
    Philip

  • OBIEE 11g level based hierarchy

    Hi everyone,
    here is my problem in brief
    I made a level based hierarchy for Products, and I need to show the product name beside the product code in the last level in the hierarchy, the steps i made to reach this is as follows:
    1- making the name and the code columns keys in the last level (in business model).
    2- making the name and the code as display columns (in presentation).
    what happens when i do this it shows only one of them depends on the order in the "display column" area
    My OBIEE version is 11.1.1.6
    is it a bug or something ?
    thanks a lot in advance.

    guys I found a work around for this problem, I made a logical column and i used the this expression:
    "ALM"."Dim Product"."LEVEL_16_NAME" || ' - ' || "ALM"."Dim Product"."LEVEL_16_CODE" , these two columns contains the desc. and the code for the product
    and then I made this column as a key and in the display columns.
    it works as i want but still considered a work around.
    thanks anyway :)

  • Level Base Hierarchy???

    Hi,
    I have two dimension tables which have join relation in physical layer, and now on top of this 2 tables i need to create Level Base Hierarchy in BMM Layer.
    By Maintaining single Logical table with all the required columns from 2 tables (using Multiple LTS) and creating hierarchy on it.
    I want to know Is this is the right way to create Level Based Hierarchy????
    or is there any alternative way to do,
    Please need your suggestions.
    Thanks.

    Since you got 2 tables follow as below:
    Assume DimA and DimB are 2 tables and you want to create Level Base Hierarchy for DimB. In this case other table DimA treat as fact, and create alias for that dim as FactDimA.
    Joins in Physical layer
    FactDimA->DimA
    FactDimA->DimB
    BMM: Pull these 3 tables and create level based hierarchy as needed and for other dim just create default hierarchy
    Use metrics in FactDimA and descriptive or char type columns from DimA
    If you have any issues; I assume you are not following as I said.
    Finally mark as correct ;)

  • ALL level in level based hierarchy

    I want to induce a level ' ALL' for a level based hierarchy. meaning ALL should display at toplevel as one value drilling ALL should come as follows
    Country code ---> country name--> site name--- > site id
    these are 4 columns here... inside a view ( joining 2 tables)
    Thanks prasad

    If you are using OWB, just use a constant operator to load your upper level with ALL. If you are using AWM, create a view on top of your dimension table with a mockup column that would just have ALL as its value.

  • Help needed - OBIEE - Level Based Hierarchy - Expanding Month for one year affects all previous years

    I am creating a level based hierarchy for the Date Dimension
    year --> quarter --> month --> date (one path)
    year .--> month --> date (the second path).
    I create the pivot table using these dim hierarchies. But the problem is,
    when I click on, say "Month" under year 2012, it expands everything above 2012 (such as 2010, 2011 etc).
    I don't want to expand all the years, but only the one I clicked. Anyone knows what is the solution for that.
    I am sorry that I cannot attach any screen shots to explain better.
    I would really appreciate your help on this.
    Thanks
    JD

    I am using OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0.
    ok, I tried one hierarchy per dim table but didn't work too. When I created a logical column as Month + Year (e.g Jan 2014) and added to the hierarchy, its working fine. But that creates other issues on the
    client side.
    I guess, since the month is common to all the years its expanding when clicked. I also added month and year as "chronological key", but that didn't work either.
    Please advice any solution if you know it.

  • How to implement Three Level Sort ?

    I am performing a complex search and get a List of Object. Now, the problem is I have to sort this list in three levels. That is,
    If I have Object like this
    public class A {
    private String id ; // unique for every record
    private String attr1;
    private String attr2;
    private String attr3;
    private String attr4;
    then I have to Sort the List of above type of objects
    First level -attr1 as Asc
    Second level -attr2 as Asc
    third level - attr3 as desc
    Could u suggest some way to implement this.

    I would suggest using the built in Collections framework for sorting.
    have class A implement the Comparable interface then implement the compareTo method as follows:
    public int compareTo(Object o) {
        A a = (A)o;  // <-- may cause ClassCastException if (o instanceof A) != true, but that should not be a problem.
        int value = attr1.compareTo(a.attr1);
        if (value != 0) return value;
        value = attr2.compareTo(a.attr2);
        if (value != 0) return value;
        value = a.attr3.compareTo(attr3);  //Notice I switched a.attr3 and attr3 for desc
        return value;
    }That should do it for you.
    Now put everything into an instance of java.util.List and pass that to java.util.Collections.sort(java.util.List);
    If you didn't create class A, and therefore can't add a method to it, then implement a Comparator. The idea is the same, just look at the java.util.Comparator API and use java.util.Collection.sort(java.util.List, java.util.Comparator) method to sort;
