Throttling the messages

Hi,
We are pushing the data from SAP to XI. From XI, the same message is sent to two different receives. But one of the receiver cannot receive more than 1000 transactions/messages. Is there any option in XI where I can Throttle messages based on the receiver. Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Do you use a BPM with option "per for each" with a Block?
Check whether you can use a ForEach instead of a ParForEach.
In the case of a ForEach you can set the maximum number of processing branches as part of the absolute upper limit (transaction SWPA). The absolute upper limit is set to 999999.

I have a requirement where there would be upto 10000 requests coming simultaneously to SAP XI and the reciever (SAP ECC) has a capacity to take only 1000 requests simultaneously.
Is there a possiblity that i can queue the messages in SAP XI and send them one after the other
Please let me know if there are any other options

Hi,
when the data comes into SAP PI it will automatically destribute itself in the queue on the outbound side...you can check this in SMq2 or Q1...
Are you facing any particular issues or you feel you will face issue with 10,000 hits.
Also, if you put the data in EOIO the processing time would be huge....so unless its killing your system dont do that

I get the message "The application "Finder" cannot be launched. -600 Read

For the last couple of days my G5 was not shutting down, so had to hold in front power button, manual sleep sometimes refused to wake and applications failed to quit. and yesterday i got the following error.
I get the message "The application "Finder" cannot be launched. -600
A reboot got things working for a bit, but on opening 'TextEdit' a document that had locked up before the reboot was displayed, on trying to save the file 'TextEdit' locked up again, trying to do a 'Preview' 'Grab' of the screen worked but then locked up 'Preview'.
So i booted into 'Safe Boot' logged in, did a virus scan using ClamXav just for piece of mind.
I opened 'TextEdit' and the same document opened as before yet i still could not save it. So i rebooted.
After reboot i opened 'TextEdit' and again the previous document appeared and this time i was able to save it. And so far no apps have failed to open or quit.
My question is, i know prior to booting into 'Safe Boot' the system fixes somethings, what does it 'fix'?
I did run the ASD (not the AHT) disk and all was ok, so thought it should be a software issue, on running TechTool Pro4 i did notice 'Finder' errors which i set to fix (just opened TechTool Pro4 and it has locked up but did 'Force Quit' unlike 'TextEdit' which has just failed to even 'Force Quit')
On looking in on the 'Console Messages' i have seen as below:

I have an image on a firewire caddy (which has 10.5.8 bootable on it) so i can easily erase the boot drive and image back but i want to understand what is actually happening.
Is it worth running AppleJack 1.5 or similar?

In Tiger/10.4.x it disables Startup/Login Items, clears Font Caches, tries to repair the HD. loads Safe Drives, disables Airport & Quartz.
In Leo/10.5 it does more, but doesn't disable Airport, which now has a Sfe Driver I presume.
I suspect From the Console post that perhaps SAfe Boot repaired the HD, but of course that doesn't take care of any corruption done while it was muxed.
Run Disk Utility & Verify the HD, it at least will tell us something.
Is it worth running AppleJack 1.5 or similar?
Assuredly, AppleJack is great & won't hurt, & will eliminate a lot of questions if not the problem.

Org.samba.winbindd logs constant throttling respawn messages in system.log

I am running Mac OS X 10.6.4 on a MacBookPro5,1 (Intel Core 2 Duo) system.
My network connectivity is fine as far as I can tell. I recently discovered the following message being logged over and over in the system.log log file:

This is really annoying when trying to view the log output to diagnose a problem I with an application I'm trying to develop
What can stop these message from appear in my log output?

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.
Back up all data.
Double-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

I have the latest version of Pages installed, yet there are documents I try to open and the message "you need a newer version of Pages to open this document". Help?

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.2 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.2 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Now one month later, the problem has returned.

I have reinstalled Mac OSX 10.6.3 and done the updates from there.
I have reinstalled ilife 11 from disk and done the updates.
I have deleted all the suggested files and then redone install and updates.
I have tried just reinstalling iphoto and doing updates.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

As the mailbox is enabled single item recovery.
I just want to make the items neither in deletion folder, nor in purges folder.
So I think there are two ways to achieve this.
Method 1,disabled the single item recovery. then delete the items in deletion folder ,so it wouldn't enter to the purges folder, it just deleted permanently. then enable the single item recovery
Method 2,delete the items in deletion folder,then the messages move to the purges folder, then delete the messages in purges folder.
the Method 1 is not so good ,as it need to disable the single item recovery firstly, then enable single item recovery .
So I want to use the Method 2

No man, itas not comming..I am using the below logic to print my message:
CONCATENATE text-I01 lv_printdate1 text-I02 INTO lv_printname
SEPARATED BY space.
MESSAGE i002(zm) WITH lv_printname.
