Time capsule now does not work with Lion just installed.

Just downloaded Lion to Mac Air. Time capsule now does not work. Where is the problem?

Restart the TC.. lion is stupid.. it forgets what it is connected to with alarming frequency ... like someone suffering dementia.
If it continues to have issues, plug the TC directly to the lion computer by ethernet (if not already) and try again. Change the wireless to manual in airport utility and change the wireless name.. to force a new configuration. Once setup you can just use wireless.
In the end you may need to reset the TC.. just hold in the reset button for about 10sec. It should then become available.. a reset does not do anything to data on the hard drive but you might need to restore any passwords.

Did you try removing the printer from the queue and then reinstalling it?
I attempted to print this morning for the first time after upgrading to Lion and discovered that while everything appeared normal on my Epson printer, it would never print.
I opened System Preference > Print & Scan and deleted the printer.
I then added the printer back and it now working again. Worth a shoot first I should think.
Much easier the a downgrade.

Either it's incompatible or it's a PPC-only application. PPC applications are no longer supported in Lion because there is no longer a Rosetta emulator. Contact Corel for support.

VMware Fusion 2 does not work with lion

I need the VMware Fusion to run my dictonary on the Mac. I have up to now Fusion2 and this does not work with the lion.

Keynot does not work with Lion OSX 10.7.2

First there was the problem with the hidden Library/application Support/iWeb/domaines, which is an important problem for me as I use my web site to show people what kind of work that I do (videos with still photography); now there's the problem with Keynote, which does not even open with Lion OSX 10.7.2. Up until now, I was using Keynote to do my video projections in small town halls. I use Protools for the sound and Final Cut (that's another problem!) for the photos and then do a Quick Time session which I put in Keynote. It was working just fine - until Lion came along.
It seems to be well known that Apple is going to discontinue iWeb (let's not talk about what they did to Final Cut) - and now it looks like they've got plans for Keynote as well. It looks like the solution is either to use PowerPoint rather than Keynote, or to downgrade back to Snow Leopard. I'm tempted to change to PowerPoint just to keep in the race, but where is Apple taking us? I'm not sure that what Apple want's us to do is really good for us! But is it realistic to hang on to Snow Leopard? Are the PCs better or are they doing the same thing? It almost seems as if there were commercial agreements between those who run everything...but that's another story - or is it?

Yes, it should work with Lion. It does for lots of folks.
Are you getting an error message of some sort? If so, see #C2 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.
If that doesn't help, try re-selecting it, via Time Machine preferences.
Or try a "full reset" of Time Machine, per #A4 in the Troubleshooting article.
Or reset the TC itself, per http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3728

Installed Lion, tried to use gestures but does not work, have macbook with full trackpad without bottoms, went to System Preferences, Trackpads, checked for all features, is there anything else I need to do?

Acrobat X Pro is the only version Adobe states works with Lion. You'll have to upgrade.

Entourage does not work with Lion

After installing Lion, the icon of Microsoft entourage is crossed (mail programme). After opnening the message " this program does no longer work, powerpc programs are not supported...We also work with Mail, but have lots of files in entourage that we need. Can someone help? Thanks.

I have been running 2008 under Lion for a couple of months now. I never went to 2011 because they dropped a lot of features that I and my office used collaboratively (redirect, projects, etc.)..and a few other reasons.
So I decided to be the guinea pig and try 2008 under Lion. It does NOT require Rosetta. It will run.
However it's supremely buggy. Frequently crashes especially on clicking on HTML emails with heavy web-encoding within the email. Restarting will fix this but it sure is annoying.
Much more annoying is a definite stop and spin of the 'beachball' that happens on a regular basis. I wasn't getting this with Snow leopard so I don't believe it to be time machine interfering. I'm suspect that Versions is trying to help 2008 somehow. I've learned not to force-quit it but instead go do something else in the finder and eventually it will come back.
Under Snow Leopard and Leopard I had a lot of issues with duplicate contacts, messed up contacts, and corrupted contacts. People in our office could never share a contact's VCF file without the email address having an extra space randomly inserted into the email. Office's website identified the problem only by showing other people's complaints. But there was never a solution.
These annoyances plus 2011's faults will probably finally drive me to Apple Mail. It's a shame. There's a lot about 2008 Entourage we really like.

Time capsule base station not working with Airport Express

Hi...
I have a network setup using the airport base station hat is part of my (older) time capsule. I also have an older Airport Express.
My network is working fine...and looks like the first image below. When I plug in the Airport Express and reset it...I get what you see on the second image. The thing is...the airport utility is supporting the base station just fine prior to looking for the airport. I presently have airport utility 6.3.2 and my airport base station has firmware 7.6.4.
Any help would be great....thanks!

Your express is a G wireless model and not compatible with the N wireless TC.
You can use it but only by using it with ethernet and setting it up as AP.. you also need to use 5.6 utility not v6.. apple removed support for G wireless devices from v6.

IPhoto change time and date does not work with Flickr

Hello everyone,
In my iPhoto librairies, I do change my photo date and time to set them we they were actually taken. Here, I'm refering especially to photos which are:
* scanned photo
* stiched photo
The issue is:
When I share these photo on Flickr, Flickr sort them with the previous date time setting, even if I have selected to change the original file in iPhoto.
So it is painful to end up seeing that all the work done on iPhoto is not reflected elsewhere.
This issue can only be in iPhoto as the old date time should be swapped with the new one.
Let me know when the fixed will be implemented so I stop loosing precious time editing photos!

I have an Access Database created with Access 2010 installed on a machine running Windows 8 using the Access 2010 Runtime code. For the most part the database works but all reports that require a date in the header come out with ##error. Works fine
with full access on any other machine. Just this one were we are using Runtime. Any ideas?
Make sure you don't have Date used as a Field Name, as it is a Reserved Word in Access and can cause unpredictable behavior.
Also make sure you have compiled the VBA code, before using the Runtime version.
Have error handling in place, to capture errors in your DB.

Sonnet pro express card does not work with lion 7.3.4 warning

After upgrading to Lion 7.3.4 my volumes attached via a Sonnet Express Pro 34 card via SATA no longer mount.
I have the current driver from Sonnet 2.2.8
The volumes appear in Disk Utility, AND pass both the disk verify and repair
However, attempts to mount the volumes result in a message from Disk Utility to attempt repairing the disk

Tried deinstalling and reinstalling the Sonnet driver. Doesn't help.
Really odd that the drives will readly pass Disk Utility's first aid checks and repairs, spin up and down under Disk Utility, but simply won't mount.
Revereted back to 10.7.3 and now back on line.
Hopefully Sonnet will create a fix, but wow, could be Lion 10.7.4's fault given that the underlying drive structure looks sound to Disk Utility (even under 10.7.4). Lion 10.7.4 dislikes something about the Sonnet Tempo Pro Expresscard/34 sata connected drives.

Creative Suite CS 5.5 Design Premium does not work with Lion

Diese Meldung ist aber falsch. Eine Internetverbindung besteht (wie auch der angebotene Test"Netzwerkdiagnose" ergibt / ich kann ja auch diese Meldungschreiben).
Einzig Adobe Bridge kann ich starten, bei allen anderenAdobe Produkten erhalte ich dieselbe Meldung. Eine Aktualisierung der Softwareüber die Bridge (Hilfe --> Aktualisierungen) bringt keine Änderung.
Was kann ich tun?
Ich habe bereits eine Neuinstallation über die DVDsversucht. --> ohne Ergebnis.
Die Creative Suite funktioniert so nicht.
CS 4 hatte funktioniert. CS 5.5 funktioniert nicht mehr.
