Time doz not sync

Dear experts,
while setting up Oracle RAC on RHEL server 5 on VMWare Server, I have setup 2 nodes and now installing Clusterware, but it happens when the installer goes on copying files on remote node ie. node 2 it gives the error of time mismatch, the error is:
error while copying directory /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs_1 with exclude file list 'null' to nodes 'rac2'.
[prkc-1002: all the submitted commands did not execute sucessfully]
rac2:
     /bin/tar.../bin/olsadmintool: time stamp is 162 s in the future
and bcoz of this error another error emerges which is:
Remote 'AttachHome' failed on nodes 'rac2'. refer to ..../installactions.log for details.
I have tried to set the time but it does not match and node 2 always lags behind some minutes and this error comes up.
and bcoz of this following could not be configured
configuration Assistants
oracle notification server configuration assistant
oracle private interconnect configuration assistant
oracle cluster verification utility
can you plz help me fix this issue

yea I did install VMWare Tools but I did not set the variable to True. but now as I have set it true and rerun the clusterware setup but it did not work and again the second node lagged behind some minutes. anyways, Iam going to install VMWare Server 1.0.4 as I was trying with version 2 which is beta. I think that will help other issues also.
although my installation of clusterware was successful but at the end it could not configure configuration Assistants
oracle notification server configuration assistant
oracle private interconnect configuration assistant
oracle cluster verification utility
and becoz of that cluster service did not run and many other configurations failed and system could not be configured properly. now I am going to try from scratch and see what happens.

Time does not sync?

I have a Wi-Fi iPad that I sync with my Mac on a regular basis. I noticed that the clock in my iPad is about 4 minutes fast. The Mac's clock is correct, however, it does not sync the time?? It syncs the time on my old iPod Touch but not the iPad?? What gives?

It seems they could use some new guys in the department that does the clock algorithms. My iPad also drifts worse than my grandfathers cuckoo clock.
The alarm is a mess every now and then, and a friend of mine had to restore his iPhone after it all of a sudden decided to shift a couple of days and hours. No manual or iTunes sync, hard reset, network provider switch or anything could convince the phone to reset to the correct date. He waited for days, hoping it would reset itself somehow, after all it should sync with the telecom provider, but eventually bit the bullet and wiped his phone. And it wasn't the providers fault, as all of the company phones are using the same network.
NTP Apple. How hard can it be?
Maybe there's security stuff involved? They must have a pretty good reason for something so simple to get so complicated. It looks like they're using multiple timers and offsets...

Cisco SPA525g2 Date and time Not Synced with the PBX server

Hello,
We have a couple of SPA525g2 phone connected and registered to our PBX server. We were able to configure 3 extensions on different lines of the phone. However, at times we were encountering issues with the other lines configured on the phone. There are times wherein 1 extension configured on the phone is having one way audio issue, but the other extensions configured on the same phone is working fine. and we have to reboot/reset the phone several times for all the extesions configured on the phone to work.
Also, whenever we reset the phone, the date and time will be way way behind the current date and time, eventhough we have already set the correct date and time before we reset the phone.
How can we resolve the one way audio issue on 1 or 2 extensions of the phone, while the other extensions configured to it is working fine?
How can we make the phone sync the date and time with the PBx server?
Any input and help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated...
Btw, date and time issue not sync with the PBX server is just happening on SPA525g2, we have other phones like SPA303, SPA504, and SPA232D/SPA302D. All other phones' date and time is in sync with the server even though we reset them except SPA525g2.

ISync not syncing all contacts to Moto Razr V3i

Hi,
I have a Motorola Razr V3i that I'd like to sync with my Mac address book. I'm running Leopard 10.5.1. I keep the Address Book as the reference for all my contacts. When I connect my Razr to the Mac, I want to replace all the contacts on the phone with the entries in the Address Book. I have set options in iSync to sync all contacts with phone numbers. I am facing two problems with this:
1) During the sync, the application tries to replace data on my Mac with data from the phone. Is there an option that I can set by which the information on the Mac is never overwritten by the information from the phone? I want information to go one way all time - from my Mac to the phone.
2) After the sync, I discovered that not all the contacts had been imported. A few random contacts are not transferred from the Mac to the phone. I thought that this might have something to do with the fact that the phone used to be synced to my earlier install of Tiger. So I did a "master clear" and a "master reset" on the phone. But even after doing that, some of the contacts (different ones this time) were not synced. And due to the problem described in #1, iSync tried to replace all my existing contacts on the Mac with blank information on the phone.
What's the point of iSync if I have to check whether all contacts have been imported, and manually enter the ones left out. I checked for a software update on the phone, but there was none available.
I'd be happy to provide additional information to get this problem fixed.

I am having the same problem with Leopard 10.5.1 Isync and my razor V3 from Cingular. In addition the contacts in my address book are duplicated after syncing with my phone. Basically after using Isync my address book gets doubled and cluttered with names and no phone numbers, the data gets completly screwed up. Whats going on?

Why are some iCloud services not syncing with my Mac?

iCloud seems to be syncing just fine between my iPhone 4S (AT&T 4G) (iOS 5.1.1) and my iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G) (iOS 5.1.1), but not with my MacBook Air (Late 2010) (Mountian Lion 10.8.1). Here's a list of iCould services that I've noticed are and are not working:
iCloud mail (@me.com) and Gmail syncs and updates on my computer sometimes. (I get that these might be seperate issues. I think I need to change the "port" on one or both – suggestions?).
Exchange email syncs and updates on my computer most of the time.
Notes syncs and updates on my computer never.
Photo Stream has stopped updating and syncing on my computer altogether (worked for the first few weeks and not for the past few weeks).
iMessage synced with my computer and phone before Mountian Lion released (that is, all incomming iMessages sent to my Apple ID would be recieved at my phone and computer), but I don't think it's worked since.
iCal, Contacts, and Reminders seem to update and sync on my computer all of the time.
Because they're all iCloud services I want to think there is a one common problem – which is why I've created only one thread. But because they are not common to all services, I'm guessing it might be a case by case basis.
Of course I should state all iCloud services are turned on for all devices and computer, and I am using the same Apple ID for them all. Also, all devices/computer are connected to internet via Wi-Fi/4G pretty much all the time. Finally, it's possible there are other issues I've missed—although it seems unlikely since I use them all, all the time)—I think this is a pretty good representation of my problems.

For photo stream, if the source of the photos is an iOS device, be sure the photo app used to take the picture has been turned off, not just sleeping.
Have you rebooted the computer? The router?

I recently upgraded from my iPhone 3 to iPhone 4S. My old iPhone had been unable to sync for some time and I blamed it on the faulty cable. With my new cable I tried to sync the 3 before advancing to the 4S to be sure I had all my data. Will not sync.

Now that I have my new iPhone, I would like to first sync the old phone so all the data will be available for the new phone. I would also like to have an extra copy of my audio ebooks on the old iPhone so my husband and I can both listen at the same time using earphones while driving long distances in the car and then discuss the book. We have been unable to do this with the old iPhone alone due to constant road noise.

I am having a weird problem with my phone every since it was updated this last time. I can sync movies from my computer to my iphone but any movies I buy with my phone I can not sync to the computer. But I redownload it to the computer and can then sync.

I for the first time since buying my iphone and ipods for almost three years am concedering getting rid of them as I am getting tired of this problem. You are correct. Syncing should transfer any purchased media, including videos, from your device to your iTunes library provided your computer is authorized for the Apple ID used to make these purchases. You mentioned that you have uninstalled iTunes before, but if you didn't follow this guide exactly, uninstalling iTunes and all of its components in the order specified, it may not have been successful so you should try again: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7.

If you're using Windows try uninstalling iTunes and all of its components as by following this guide exactly: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7, then reinstall the latest version of iTunes. You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful. Note: uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

Did you try here:

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Next try on another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

I posted this question a while ago and didn't receive any responses but there are a lot of people who have viewed it and 10 have said they have the same question so I thought I would update you that I added my nanny to my exchange server account (created an email for her) and I send all invites to that email address and they work. So sending invites from an exchange server account to a non-exchange server account apparently is a bug so to solve it, get on an exchange server I guess.

It's not entirely impossible actually as someone has pointed out to me that I can turn on Call Forwarding and that stops any incoming calls. I've just forwarded it to my google voice number and then turned on "do not disturb" in google voice and whenever I get a call it goes straight to my google voice voicemail and my phone does nothing. The only thing now is I still get text messages but I think the phone calls bugged me more because they would make my music turn off for much longer.
Even though this isn't a perfect solution it's something so far so maybe you shouldn't just come out and say there's NOTHING I can do because so far I've found part of a solution. If you don't have anyting productive to say then just don't reply and close the tab. Thanks.
At this point I'm wondering if anyone knows of any Jailbreak tweaks that can enable what I want. Unless of course it's agaisnt the rules of this forum to mention jailbreak stuff...
