Time portion not exported from datetime columns

Hi,
in version 1.0.0.15.57, the time portion of the date colums is not exported when using any export format (always 00:00:00). I can see the date and time correctly in the table data browser after altering the session :
alter session set nls_date_format='YYYYMMDD HH24:MI:SS'
But when exporting the content the time section is lost.
Is this a known problem ?

After changing the nls_date_format, I open the data tab for the table, right-click on the table name in the connections tab (table browser), and select export/CSV. This give export the value "12:00" for all time portion. BUT I tried to right-click on the table data tab instead and choose export/CSV... the time portion is now exported correctly!
It is not the same result to export table content using the export menu in the data tab window than the menu in the connections tab.
Could you try it ? thanks.

    Roman,
how can you know that it is about AIX? The OP didn't tell us.
Besides that, I agree that different OS versions may be the root cause.

  • Ticker not loading from any column

is it possible to have a ticker not loading any data (from any column) ?
only scroll some text on the dashboard page.
    thank you very much!

    Hello,
In criteria, you have not selected any columns, seems
You should select atleast one column in criteria...
and in Row Format of ticker view, write the text that you desired... as naresh said..
If you have not written anything in Row Format, by default the column values will be displayed in ticker view

  • CF8. ODBC Vs JDBC Oracle Date. Time portion not returned

    Hi.
Just upgraded one of our servers to CF8. We are connecting to
a Oracle 10g R2 database and we have also started using Oracles
    JDBC drivers.
If I do the following query under ODBC and dump the result.
    Query :
    Select CALL_DATE
    From CALLS
    WHERE CALL_ID=1234
    CALL_DATE
    2007-10-09 19:03:32.0
    Same query under JDBC :
    I get
    CALL_DATE
    2007-10-09 00:00:00.0
    Where's my time part gone???
I know I can mess about with the SQL to return what I want,
but we've got loads of old apps that use CF to format the date and
time so it would be a bit unrealistic to do that! Plus we wouldn't
be able to work out the time between two dates.
    HELP!
    Ta
    Nick

I am facing a similiar issue in a different context. When I
use select xyz_Date from abc table in coldfusion cfquery tag, the
    out put comes as follows:
    CF5 - '05-MON-2007'
    CF8 - '2008-01-27 00:00:00.0'
Note: The xyz_Date is stored without time stamp in the
    database.
both running on 10.2.0.3 Oracle version. This is creating
problem when inserting dates when we only use xyz_date as a value
to be inserted. It worked fine on CF5 but not on CF8 due to format
change. Is there a way to set it to behave like CF5.

  • Time Machine not visible from SNow Leopard

I have a Time Capsule that has been performing sterling duty on my iMac and Macbook for the past couple of years.
Having just upgraded the Macbook to Snow Leopard I set it to backup for the first time (>60 GB) which took a day or so over Wifi - at this point the backup was visible and browsable.
After the backup the time capsule is visible in the Finder and I can see the sparsebundle, however the preferences suggest that I need a new backup and I cannot enter Time Machine.
The iMac, still running 10.5.8, can still see it's own backups.
There is approx. 250GB left on the Time Capsule.
    Any help?

Yes, just not finding anything changed. What's in the +Do not back up+ box in TM Preferences > Options, and what's the "Estimated size of full backup? just below it?

  • .mov files not exporting from FCP

    Hi.
I was working from the client's computer in FCP 5.0.
I encoded a 10min video via compressor for a client. It took 2hrs to compress which was the first sign that something was wrong. Once brought into DVDSP, I noticed that the .mov file of the opening & closing animation was not there - just black w/ audio.
Any ideas? I have to redo the clients DVD on Monday & I'm hoping I'll know how to fix this problem by then.
    Thanks in advance!
    Heather

    Heather:
    It took 2hrs to compress
I dpoesn't mean too much with no other info from yuor project.
    What format is your sequence?
    How long in minutes?
What do you mean with exporting to a mov file? You need to encode your movie to MPEG2 video and AC3 audio to use in DVDSP, or export your sequence as a Quicktime Movie, same settings, and use that as source and let DVDSP encode it.
Come back with more info !!
    Hope that helps !

  • Correct location information not exporting from iPhoto

    Hi,
I have painstakingly updated location information on several events in my iPhoto library.  I now want to give copies of these events/photos to a friend, so he can add them to his iPhoto library (with the updated location information).
When I exported the event, I selected "Location information" in the dialogue box that comes up (in order to include the location information with the exported photos).  However when I then import these photos to my friend's iPhoto library, the old/unupdated location information for all photos shows up.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated!
    Brian

    Hi Terence,
Thanks for your response.  I have successfully updated/changed the location of many photos in an event (and these changes are saved).  However, my problem is that when I export these photos/event, the old location information shows up in the newly exported photos (i.e. when I put them into a different library on a different mac).
I have also tried creating a new library to refresh the cache, but that did not work either.
    Any other thoughts?  Regards,
    Brian

  • I can not export from phosotshop elements 10 and premier elements 10

I have windows 8, my computer is new and came with photoshop and premier elements 10 installed, but I cannot export anything, I can see the option under files tag, but I cannot select it, it appears in a lighter grey.
    Thank you

In the PSE10 Editor the Export and Automation menus are grayed out by design. They are intended for use where third party plug-ins, add-on’s or scripts are installed.
When you have an image open in Full Edit and you have finished your adjustments, simply use:
    File >> Save As
You can choose from a whole list of file formats.
You can also export directly from the PSE10 Organizer (windows only) by selecting thumbnails and clicking:
File >> Export As New Files
In PRE10 when you have finished editing your video in the timeline, click the Share button to export. There are a variety of templates to export to a folder on your hard drive or to burn a DVD etc.

  • I can not export from Xcelcius Present 2008 to PowerPoint or Word

I can successfully export to PDF, but not to PowerPoint or Word.  I have Excelcius Present 2008, version 5.2.1.0, build 12,2,1,94
I have MS Office Standard Edition 2003 SP3.  My operating system is Windows XP Professional, version 2002, SP3
When I go to the Flie/Export menu and select PPT, it asks me for a file name and where to put it.  After naming the file and selecting the folder to store it in, I click OK and I get a small window that says "creating SWF file".  After 3-4 seconds that window disappears, but it seems the file is never actually created.  I search for it in the specified location (or even on the entire computer) and it can not be found.  Also, I understand that Xcelcius should open PowerPoint immediately after the file is created, but this is not happening.

    Hi,
You can refer the following SDN Thread where the similar problem is reported.

  • Audio not exporting from Keynote to Quicktime

I have recorded a 50 minute slideshow with a voice-over narration in Keynote. There are mp3 sound files on some of the slides, i.e. short clips of various sounds. When I play back the recorded slideshow in Keynote, my voice-over and the sound clips and visuals work perfectly fine. However, when I export my recorded presentation to Quicktime, only my voice-over and the slides are included in the movie, the sounds clips are missing. All of the transitions and effects work perfectly fine in the movie, it is just the sound clips that are missing. No matter how I save the file in Quicktime I cannot get the mp3 sound clips into the QuickTime movie. My computer is a MacbookPro running OSX 10.9.4 Mavericks, using Keynote 6.2. I just bought Quicktime Pro7 to see if that would help, but it did not. Would greatly appreciate advice on how to get all of audio into a movie, I've spent more than a hundred hours on this presentation. Many thanks.

Yeah, me too. Bump. Can anybody explain this behavior?!?

  • Multi channel audio not exporting from fcpx xml as mono to logic always comes in a mixed surround

I have a long edit cut with 24 bit multi channel wav files (i.e 6 microphones on separate tracks but in a single wav file.)
This is very a very common production practice.
when i import into fcpx it defaults to seeing the files as surround. I change this to mono so i can mix and spit the audio between each mic.
The last step in the edit is to hand the mix off to the sound designer in logic.
however no matter how i export the xml file for logic. it always comes in as a surround file again instead of mixed mono files.
it shows up in logic as 6 tracks but all but generally only the top track has a mono mix of all 6 and the rest are blank.
it shows that all 6 are seen as 5.1 surround indicated by the icon.
interestingly if i just import the file directly into logic it comes in as 6 mono files. (the icon for mono showing and all are separate microphones)
Any ideas on how to get fcpx not to export the audio xml as surround? (it seems that it is locked to that on import no matter how i modify after)

Ok so i order to help anyone who is interested.
The only ironic solution to this problem i found was to use a plugin called xto7 to convert the xml to the old fcp7 format.
i then imported this into premiere pro.
this was then able to export an OMF that when imported into logic 10 that was using the correct 6ch mono setting as separate tracks.
Insane but it works until Apple fixes the incorrect meta data import in FCPX that sets the xml export to the default import that is always surround.
this is the only way i was able to send stems with all the edit points and fades for the sound editor.
If you don't have premiere lying around you maybe able to do it with fcp7 too we just didn't have it in this studio.
Fingers crossed Apple fixes the fcpx xml export.

  • Email attachments not exporting from outlook 2013 with Acrobat XI standard

I can't get my email attachments in Outlook 2013 to export along with the message.   I've got the option checked in the settings to include attachments, and I don't get an error message when the PDF is created.  But it includes the message only, regardless of whether it's set to output as a portfolio.  I'm using the latest version (11.0.10) of Acrobat XI.  Does anyone have a suggestion on what the problem might be and how I can fix it?  Thanks very much.

    Hey mikem750,
Once you convert the email to PDF, you have to click on Attachments under the Navigation pane. You can then save the attached file and then convert it to PDF format.
Choosing 'include attachments' option under conversion settings will simply include attachments (original format) along with the converted email message.
    Hope this information helps.

  • List DateTime Column Shows Pacific Standard Time When it Shouldn't

    Hi all,
A list in a site has the column DateTime applied to the view and it's showing the Pacific Standard Time when something is added to the list.  The Created Date is correct and shows our proper timezone and time of day but the DateTime column is 4.5 hours
behind which corresponds to PST.  I've check central admin and the web application time zone settings and they are set to our time zone as required.  Is there something I'm missing here?
    Thanks everyone.

    Hi  ,
According to your description, my understanding is that your DateTime column shows Pacific Standard Time not your proper time zone in the SharePoint 2010.
For troubleshooting your issue, please have a look at the blog :
    http://www.brainlitter.com/2012/04/09/how-to-set-regionaltime-zone-settings-in-sharepoint/
Also please go to your SharePoint Server -> Date and Time setting,  make sure the time zone , date and time is correct.

  • Export 7 months' worth of notes/comments from Outlook 2013 Calendar Events?

Upon start-up, before we got our CRM suite installed, one of our sales reps was keeping all his call notes and comments in Outlook's Calendar Appointment boxes. Now we want to get those seven months' worth of notes exported from Outlook
as text so we can import them into our CRM. I can't figure out how to get those 200+ notes exported from Outlook...a little help?

They are in the calendar notes field? What format do you need them in and did you try File, Open & Export to bring up the export wizard?

  • Firewall nags every time I start an export from quicktime!?

Every time I start exporting from quicktime the firewall asks me to allow incoming network connections and to enter my admin user name and password.
I've checked the firewall in system preferences and quicktime is on the application list and set to allow incoming connections.
I've also tried reinstalling quicktime but to no avail.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Go to "/Library/StartupItems/LexSleeper.app” and delete the file. You'll likely need to use an admin password and be prompted to enter your password before the app will be Trashed. Reoboot and the message should be gone and you should be able to empty the trash.
