Title of a spool request

I need to change the tiitle of Spool request dynamically from the report program .
plz advice about the parameters ;
I have tried
ls_print-PRINT_CTRL-PRI_PARAMS-PRTXT = 'RRRRRRRRRRERRRR'.
ls_print-PRINT_CTRL-PRI_PARAMS-PRSAP = 'X'.
still title is not changing ..
One good example is in:

I'm SAP Basis guy, I've been asked by our functional team if it would be possible to change the default spool request title.
Our endusers have access to transaction SP01, where every morning, they can see the spools request that have been generated during the execution of night batches.
Currently, the default spool name is displayed :
Title or name of spool request LIST1S LOCL ZREPORTSUFFIX (in transactions sm37 and sp01)
Is it possible to change the default name of this spool request with some abap coding ?

goto transaction SPAD and change the default values as you require but i doubt whether you would be able to change the spool title after the job has been triggered i think it is nt possible
but for further requests you can change it from SPAD

Simple Request - How Do I Print a Spool Request in 3.1i?
Here is the scenario:
I have created an FI Misc Credit Memo for a customer who wants a hard copy of the document. Using transaction code FB12, I generate a correspondence. Then using transaction code F.64, I attempt to print the document. This generates a spool request with a number like 86,007.
From there I go to system>services>output control which takes me to the spool request screen. From there, I am missing the next step.
This screen has fields for:
Spool request number (attempted number given when spool request was generated - 86,007, field only fits 5 characters so comma has been excluded)
Spool request name ( I think this is my problem as I have no idea where to find this)
User name (field is populated)
From date (field is populated)
Client (field is populated)
Output device (have entered desired printer name)
Format (usually self-populates once a successful print request is entered)
Title (unnecessary field I believe)
Recipient (unnecessary field)
Department (unnecessary field)
No one on our staff has been able to help me with this issue so I've turned to the community. I am an end user (Tax Analyst) who possesses little technical knowledge. My apologies. Thank you in advance for any help given!Hello,
remove values from all the fields in the selection screen and enter only your spool number. The Execute wiht 'F8' and if the spool request is found, with the "printer" push-button you can print it.

SCRIPT: all first pages has one spool request
Hi Friends,
i've copied the program RFFOUS_C and form F110_prenum_chk as 'Z"
My requirement is given below,
Bottom of the bond sheet has cheque and top of the page has remittence details(line item, per page has 20 line item)
If the remittence details is exceeds in the first page then it goes to the second page(now its working fine)
if the user gives the bulk cheque printing then all the first page should print under one spool request and all the second page should print another one spool request.
Is it possible in ZRFFOUS_C program. if it is possible where we can change the logic.

Vallamuthu.MSure it is possible. If the title, prefix and suffix and suffix2 are same, printouts go to the same spool.
The rest is just a bit of thinking and clever usage of START_FORM and END_FORM. -
Hi All,
While running the program - Periodic Account Statement (t-code F.27) u2013 in background(Program > Execute in background) 2 spool requests are generated.
Why 2 spool requests are generated ? Only 1 spool request should get generated.
Correspondence Type used is a customized Correspondence Type(Z).
Unwanted Spool generated is of type u2018ABAP Listu2019 and title generated is u2018F140 LOCL 20100927KORKu2019.
Because of the 2 spools 2 hard prints are printed.
Please suggest as to what could be the cause of 2 spools ?

Output
If correspondences are printed, a log with the spool requests created by
the print programs is output for each program run. If you do not specify
in the program on which printer the log is to be printed, the program
may take the printer specified in the user master of the user who
started the program or the printer specified when the job is scheduled.
If the program is carried out online, the log is displayed on the
screen. If the program is planned as a job, the spool request name of
the log is made up of the identifier F140, the printer destination, the
date of creation and the program ID KORK.
The correspondences are printed by means of the corresponding print
programs. If printing is possible on the basis of the data and the
configuration, a spool request is created for each correspondence type
and company code. Regardless of whether printing actually takes place,
the processed correspondence requests are marked as completed by means
of a print date, so that reorganization can be carried out.
ie: you have a SPOOL with the log, and you have other SPOOL with the printable document that you must send to customers.

I run tx-VF31 (u201CPrint immediatelyu201D option of printer settings is unchecked). As a result, only one Spool Request is created and all the messages (outputs) are filled in this unique Spool Request. Is it possible to create one Spool Request for each message? I am using Smartforms and I have modified the parameters of its interface without success. The following parameters have been modified to u2018Xu2019:
OUTPUT_OPTIONS- TDNEWID
OUTPUT_OPTIONS- TDFINAL

Calling Transaction SP01 (Display spool requests) with parameters via URL
Hi,
I would like to be able to list all spool requests of a certain title via a URL.
Unfortunately ITS does not seem to work. A URL constructed like this
http://host:port/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?sap-system-login-basic_auth=X&sap-client=500&sap-language=EN&transaction=SP01&S_RQTITL-LOW=Testing123&okcode=CRET
causes a short dump that SP01 (Program RSOSP01NR) is a Module Pool.
I am therefore considering the following options:
1. BSP Program
2. Java WebDynpro
3. ABAP WebDynpro
Ideally, I want to be able to enter in my browser something like
http://host:port/<BSP_or_WebDynPro_stuff>&~title=Testing123
and for this to show in the browser a list of all spool requests that are named "Testing123".
Can someone advise whether any of the above options are preferable?
Also, whether such a program should call transaction SP01 with parameters (skipping first screen) or look to using the associated function modules.

Many documents into one spool request
How can I control the opening & closing of spool requests in ABAP?
The context is a program that prints dunning letters and their associated billing documents.
We want the hard copies to appear in the correct order (dunnning letter, its billing documents, dunnning letter, its billing documents,...)
One way to achieve this could be to have a single spool request for each "dunning letter + billing documents" set of documents.
Currently the documents go into the spool-request list in the correct order (in separate spool requests), but that does not ensure the correct order for the hard copies, since we have more than one work process handling the spool queue.My program is working: for each dunning letter and its billing documents there is one spool request. Some key points...
[1] Invoices in table MHND can be other than SD invoices. The non-SD ones were disregarded - trying to print them as SD billing documents would fail, and maybe mess up the logic for opening/closing spool requests.
[2] For each billing document, I used itcpo values exactly as for its dunning letter, except that:
for the dunning letter, itcpo-tdnewid = 'X' and itcpo-tdfinal = ' ';
for billing documents other than the last, itcpo-tdnewid = ' ' and itcpo-tdfinal = ' '.
for the last billing document for the dunning letter, itcpo-tdnewid = ' ' and itcpo-tdfinal = 'X';
If you use different values of any of tddest, tdreceiver, tddataset, tdsuffix1, tdsuffix2,..., for instance, then you will get a new spool request, whatever the values of tdnewid or tdfinal.
[3] Fortunately we already use our own print program for billing documents. So just before the CALL FUNCTION 'OPEN_FORM', I tested the value of sy-cprog, and if it was the name of my report then I assigned as in [2] to the structure for the OPTIONS (i.e. itcpo) parameter of OPEN_FORM.
[4] To pass values for [3] from the report to the print program, I used export/import to/from memory.
[5] Because I was controlling the itcpo values, I was able to arrange that something helpful to the user appears in the Title column in 'Own spool requests' (transaction SP02). This title comes from the itcpo fields tddataset, tdsuffix1 & tdsuffix2, and I arranged that the dunning level and the customer number appears in Title. -
How to know spool requests from other program?

i appended the title of spool request to the internal table and passed that interanal table to RSPO_RINIT_SPOOL_SP01 ,up to now its working fine .but what my requirement is ,i should pass the username and date through selection screen.in the same way i have appended data from the selection screen to respective internal tables and passed through the internal table.if i give wrong 'username ' in selection screen it should not display any spool job.even though its showing spool requests based on title.what was wrong?please help me out.

Is it possible to have Multiple Spool requests in one batch job overview?
Hi,
While running one of my z program in back ground, there are two spools generated (one by write statement and one by OPEN_FORM statement and both the spools are available in SP01 Transaction), but when i see the job overview in transaction SM37, I only see one spool request (that of the last spool request). Can any body in the group please tell me is it possible to see multiple spool requests in the job overview of one Abap program and if yes, how?

Anyway, does any one in the group think that display of multiple spools per one step job is dependent on client / SAP Server setting? Because as evident from the chain of mails in the link provided by Jayanthi, some people say that they see multiple spool requests for one program in batch mode job overview (SM37)? Call open form write form and close form in loop so that till sales order remains in the loop the form will continue to print. In this way all sales order in internal table will print in the same spool.

How to create the multiple spool requests for a single report.

I have one requirement to be completed , i need to send the out put of the report via mail in pdf format. for that what i did was, iam executing report in background and creating spool request and converting it to pdf and sending the file.
now the problem is, its a customer ledger report, for each customer i need to create a new spool request and send mail to that particular customer, now my dought is how to create multiple spool requests for a single pro and how i need to go about it.
And one more question is can we create a spool request for a report which is running in online.

output_options-tdnewid = 'X'.
and then using
job_output_info-spoolids
create a pdf using

Handle not valid for open spool request
Hello everyone,
i am facing an error while clicking the print preview option in change PO (me22n).
i have given the dispatch time in further data of o/p as 'Send with application own transaction'.
now, when i save and click print preview button i get an error as
"Handle not valid for open spool request"
Kindly give me some idea how to tackle this.

When I lock tracks I am not able to unlock them, how can i fix this?
