TLS patch not working

Hi all!
I'm trying to apply a patch and it's not working. I've searched the web, metalink included and nothing... plus, the version numbers confuse me. Please advise.

Tell us about the product, type of OAS, version and what patch are you trying to apply.
Frankly, digging from the logs of your output some of this information and you would get fewer responses than what you would get if you introduce your system.

Robohelp 9 with patch - Not working with IE10

Hi,
We have a problem with webhelp generated from RoboHelp 9 when viewing with Internet Explorer 10. We can't open a topic on the left or open a search result, until we either :
A) Resize the window
B) Resize the splitter between contents and the content pane on the right
C) Open the dev tools via F12
We have installed the patch provided by adobe for existing webhelp generated by RH9 at the following address :

I have also tried to install RH10 and generate the project again, but the same issue occurs.
I don't know what else to look for, the problems are what the patch was released for, but it is not working in our case.

We are reproducing with Windows 8 Pro 64bit, with Internet Explorer 10 (Update version 10.0.3).
I see on your website the snippet "Topics not opening in IE10.". On our web server, we add the IE8 compatibility tag for our web application to work correctly. I have created a new site without this tag and the fix is working.

Why do some patches not work with looping?

In playing around with the Looper, I've stumbled across a couple of patches that don't work with it: Clean Stereo Chorus and Dream Sequence. No signal seems to make it to the Looper. Any idea why this would be? I'm just scratching the surface of MainStage and don't really understand all the routing and such. Could there be something in these patches that routes them around the Looper somehow?

My question got me thinking about the routing, so I looked at the difference between patches that work and patches that don't. Sure enough, patches that do work have Loopback in one of the Send slots. So I added that to one of the patches that wasn't working. But when I click on the little circle beside the send (which I assume has something to do with the level), it shows "-∞". A patch that works, on the other hand, displays "+0.0". I can't figure out how to adjust that, though, and I don't know why some patches aren't set up for Loopback.

ACS 4.0 EAP-TLS Cert not working

Hey,
so i generated my certificate signing request, took it to my CA, got a cert. From "ACS Certification Authority Setup" i installed it onto my ACS appliance, then from "Install ACS Certificate" installed it (it prepopulated the privkey and password so i assume it got that from the cert file). I then add the CA from the "Edit Certificate Trust List". All this goes off without a hitch.
However when i try to add the "Certificate Revocation List" I am unable to add both LDAP:\\\ and http://. I have confirmed that the http:// is working on the CA, and every indication is that the ldap is working too but i don't know of the tools to test that with.
When i go into "System Configuration"->"Global Authentication Setup"->"Allow EAP-TLS" i get the following error.
Failed to initialize PEAP or EAP-TLS authentication protocol because CA certificate is not installed. Install the CA certificate using "ACS Certification Authority Setup" page.
What exactly is not installed about the Certificate? it's on the ACS server, it's configured and the date range is correct.
I've been banging my head against this all day and could use some suggestions. :)

Ok, i now understand it a little better. I needed to install 2 certificates. the first being the Root CA's certificate in the "ACS Certification Authority Setup" section (i mistakenly thought this was simply where i download my generated cert for the next spot.
The second cert is the one i generated using "Generate Certificate Signing Request", i then took that to my Root CA, generated a cert and installed that along with the private key under "Install ACS Certificate".
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction since the error i was getting wasnt helpful to me.

Baselined patches not working with Windows 7x64

I have baselined some patches for a few Windows 7 64bit machines we are
using now. If I look at the 'Bundle Deployment Status Details' for the
machine in ZCC it shows Distribution and Installation Success. Looking on
the machine the patches are not installed. In event viewer I do find the
following errors at the time of the supposed install success but nothing
else. Running 10.2.2 on the client and 10.2.2 on the Windows 2003 server.
I can install the patches fine via Windows Update or manually. Does
patching work properly with Windows 7 64bit? Didn't see anything in the
docs or in the knowledgebase.

French Patch not working?

I replaced my single layer DVD burner with a Pioneer interanl 109. Using iDVD 5, and the French patch, I did have this working sometime in the past under a previous system build. Now, using th latest build of Tiger, the tab in iDVD for disk size does not show up in Projects anymore. I reinstalled the French patch, EXACTLY like they said, and I even threw out the VendorSupport.drprofile in the system, like they suggested. Still, I do not get any additonal option in iDVD's Projects. Not 8 gig nor 4 gig. There is no pull-down menu present.
Arrrrr!
Anyone know what I'm missing here?

Compat-wireless -1 channel patch not working !

Hello there,
I've recently bought a usb wireless adapter (ALFA AWUS036NEH) in order to use the aircrack-ng suite.
Unfortunately, the kernel drivers have the channel -1 bug, so I install AUR package compat-wireless-3.2.5-1, which is supposed to be patched for this bug.
I modified the PKGBUILD to only install rt2x00 group driver.
Once the install is done, i reboot or do
modprobe rt2800usb
and the card is working fine for conventionnal use.
But when I use it for airodump, i've still the fixed channel : -1 bug...
My pci card (Broadcom) has the same bug... (even after applied the patch ofc)
Can anybody help me? (for example tell me how to manually install it?)

Have you tried downgrading your kernel a couple of versions... maybe to the 3.2.5 version? And of course, re-building and re-installing the package.

Cars game performance patch not working

i have bought a cars game dvd for pc/mac and installed it on my intel 20" 2.66 Core2Duo iMac but after using the performance patch for universal binary downloaded from apple website and launching the application it asks for a playdisk whilst the DVD is inserted into the drive.
so what should I do to make it run on my intel based iMac?

3.01 patch not working under Vista 64 SP1 ?

Hi,
Under Vista64 SP1; launching "Audition 3.0.1 Patch Setup.exe" shows a first dialog box for language selection... after clicking "OK" nothing happens.
Launching "instmsiw.exe" brings up a dialog box which displays "Wrong OS or OS version for application"
Launching "components.msi" starts the installation, but stops with a message "The wizard was interupted before Adobe Audition 3.01 Patch could be completely installed"
Any advice ?

LOVs not working in Webi Report for SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 Patch 3

I have developed reports and universes in SAP BO 4.0 SP 5 and i have migrated those reports to higher version of BO which is 4.1 SP2 Patch 3.
My universe is working fine with LOVs but when i run the webi report , the LOVs arent working.
have anyone facing the same issue. any idea why the LOVs arent working on higher version.?

The List of values we will assign in universe in order to get filtered data works on universe query panel
but the same objects when i am using in report(webi report) , the List of values are not working .i.e
they are not getting displayed in webi report.
for ex: i have country object having country names as LOVs and state objects having state names as LOVs . Now when i select Country value , the LOVs of state objects should get filtered and shows only states which belongs to country .
the above logic is not working in webi report , i am only able to select country and when i go for state, the state names do not get filtered.
please let me know why this is happening in the SP2 patch 3 version and its working fine for SP2 , but the chrome issue gets solved after applying patch 3 and not if we only upgrade to SP2.
the webi reports are not working in chrome browser if we using SAP B04.1 SP2 and lower version
but the LOVs are not working in SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 patch 1, 2,3.

Applets not working with Java 1.7.0_51 in MII 14.0 SP4 Patch 5

Hi,
I'm currently evaluating the migration of our MII 12.0 developments to MII 14.
But I'm running in several issues just trying to use simple things like a SQL query template with an iGrid Display template in test mode.
Used versions are: MII 14.0 SP4 Patch 5 and on client side the latest Mozilla Firefox with Java 1.7.0_51
At first I always get a java security warning when the applet is being loaded about unsigned applications.
At second the applet itself is not running. It always shows "No data available" and the java console shows the following errors (iResult is the id of the applet):
iResult [ERROR] - Couldn't set query template: No Query Defined
iResult [ERROR] - Couldn't set display template: null
iResult [ERROR] - Couldn't set display template: null
Is this perhaps a general problem, that the MII applets are not working with Java 1.7.x versions?
If I call the same MII page from a client with Java 1.6.x it is working without errors.
Do you have some suggestions for me?

Apple tv patch 6.1.1 extended desktop not working

My apple tv just upgraded to patch 6.1.1(6698.99.19) from 6.1(6698.99.19)
I have an Ipad Mini2 which I normally use to view movies on my tv.
I will select the apple tv, (with air play) and play the movie using Moliplayer on the Ipad mini2.
I was able to play from a mac pro I have in my office if I wanted to.
This used to work great as the apple remote controlled the movie and you could set the ipad mini2 down on the desktop.
After the patch, the above does not work. What happens, is the movie is not played.. however an audio icon pops up on the apple-tv
and you can hear the movie audio.
So after this patch, you can only view the movie with mirrored desktop selected after this latest update.
Both the apple mini2 and the mac pro produce the same result.
Additional steps..
I have taken the apple tv and used Itunes to re-install the software with a USB cable. Unfortunately .the same result.
I assume I have a bug I am reporting that can be logged.
Additionally. is it possible to put back the older version of the software so the apple TV will work as before?

I have the exact same problem aswell. Did the update from 6.1 to 6.1.1 on my Apple TV 3rd gen. When using my iPhone 5 showing pictures och videos from my camera roll it works just fine over Airplay. So the problem is not the transmission. When playing a video from my Synology NAS using VLC for iOS nothing happens on my Apple TV like it did before the update! Annoying

If I rollback the mlr#4 , everithink works fine. With mlr#3, mlr#2 the problem is the same.
The platform is one for development installer on RedHat 5 OS.
Any ideea ?

1000 Thanks for your tip. I run into same issue on W2K3 with 10.1.3.4 MLR#4 (so far last MR allowed for AIA apps).
I had the orabepl.ear file of the size as was mentioned earlier: 2.530.260 in the bpel\system and other one on the j2ee\ocj4_soa\applications folder.
Copying did not help.
I had to perform following steps from the <MLR#4>/custom/scripts/post.bat file which takes the file from the bpel\system,
ADDS some another .jars in it and ONLY THEN move it to the j2ee\...\applications folder:
copy %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\j2ee\orabpel.ear %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib\orabpel.ear
copy %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\j2ee\ejb\oc4j_ejb_services.jar %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib\ejb_services.jar
copy %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\j2ee\ejb\ejb_ob_engine_oc4j.jar %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib\ejb_ob_engine.jar
cd %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib
%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk\bin\jar -uvf orabpel.ear ejb_services.jar ejb_ob_engine.jar
After doing manually these steps the orabpel.ear in j2ee\...\applications has got the size: 2.798.840 which was bigger as right after patch application.
Then I deleted the orabpel folder from the j2ee\...\aplication-deployments
started the j2ee containe (it was named: oc4_soa ) and the BPEL Console started live well as before in 10.1.3.3
As I did verify from other files The rest of steps from the post.bat file seems did well, only this part was not executed.

The new Update with the Patch for Camera Raw is not working. Code U44M1P34

Hi there,
i have a problem with the new CC Update - including the patch for Camera Raw 8.7.1
Error Code: U44M1P34
Photoshop CC (2014)
After Effects CC (2014)
Brisge CC
The logfile shows 1 fatal error:
FATAL: Payload 'Photoshop Camera Raw 8_8.7_AdobeCameraRaw8.0All 8.0.0.22 with a number following.
I have tried to uninstall an reinstall. Did not work at all, because the same Problem is shown.
I did not install in other folders. All other updates worked - but not this update. The problem seems to bee only caused by the Camera Raw Update.
Are there others with the same Problem? Any ideas?

Hi Jeff,
it seems that i have found a dirty, but working solution for my problem on this site: Getting fatal Exit Code 34 when installing an app
To change these 3 folder names and reinstalling of my Programs worked fine without any errors:
Adobe PCD -> Adobe PCDold
backup -> backupold
caps -> capsold
Now the Programs are on the actual status with all updates included and everythings seems to be fine.

Again after last patch: Windows 64 - PDF preview handler not working

Adobe's PDF preview handler doesn't work unter Windows XP/Vista/7 64 bit. Because of that PDF preview e.g. in Windows explorer or MS Outlook isn't displaying PDF preview.
This issue has been discussed in this forum some months ago, and this page gives a solution that has helped:

Instead of fixing this well-known issue with the last patch Adobe decided again not to fix. And after installing the patch you have to repair PDF preview handler again...
