TMS error: "Offline Call could not access file as supposed (see.."

i am running an NSP Netweaver on top of Windows 7. when performing RSTPTEST, I get the following error, right at the end. All the other tests are fine.
It looks like an permissions problem with possibly the file system, but i have tried giving all to all.
I have been trying for days to fix this.
if anyone can help, please do.
i have checked log files, and about the only useful one is the SLOG1019 which gives me one line
FATAL No stdout redirectio NSP 0000 20100510080609 BCUSER pc
when i try to distribute the TMS i also get "Transport control program tp ended with error code 0212" again, looks like an authorization error.
i am not a basis person, more developer.
any pointers and help, cheers

Meaning of returncode 212 is:
could not access file as supposed (see SLOG for more details)
Is there any error in the corresponding SLOG?
You can find the SLOGxxxx.<SID> under usr/sap/trans/log.

I have a similar problem which i did not have before...and it exists only in some powerpoint files which i want to print as a pdf file...and i get the same message as above.

I am getting below error in DTW
could not load file or assemplt 'ADODB', version =7.0.3300.0, culture=neutral, publickeytoken='b03f57f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. the system cannot find the file specified

Hi Deepak,
Kindly follow the check list
1. Right Click DTW and run it as Administrator.
2. Are you using same DTW version as SAP B1
3. Uninstall and re-install DTW.
4. If you are using 64-bit DTW, try to use 32-bit one.
5. Check the Template, is it of the same DTW version.
6. Remove all the unnecessary columns.
7. Last try different Template extension.. (e.g: CSV (Comma delimited), or Text (Tab delimited))

Error message 1606 could not access network location itunes.\

i had itunes before and it was not working so i removed all programs relate to apple and itunes and quicktime.
now i m trying to install itunes again and before it even install it shows up this message says " could not access network location iTunes.\" and just totally stops the installation...i've tried just about eveything from editing registry to upgrade my service pack..still no use. i even called the apple tech support and they can' even do anything...i just got an itouch and i can't use it because i don't have itunes...soo frustrating ..

assuming you already have a library? Check out my itunes music library, but my issue still persists sadly.

HT3275 Time Machine error (109). Could not access backup disk image

I keep getting a Time Machine error message that says it can not access the backup disk image "……sparsebundle". I have had issue after issue with Time Machine. I have completely started over twice with setting up Time Capsule. Please help!

Install Error: "Error 1606. Could not access network location :."

This is really a continuation of some recent messages on a very old thread here: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=32&threadID=655442, where users have been hit with the above error. There are 9 other threads here referring to 1606 (excluding this one and the old thread). Most 1606's refer to specific files/folders; this one just shows ":.", which suggests a blank/missing entry somewhere, perhaps in the registry.
All solutions I've seen here recommend running the Offline installer - that didn't help.
In more general searches, other suggestions arise: the Microsoft "FixIt" utility, various Registry-repair utilities (free and non-free), etc. I've tried these (including spending some bucks!), with no success.
I've also run a Reg-Mon/Process-Mon (SysInternals.com) on the registry traffic during the install, and closely reviewed the activity in the installer during the 1606 "retry" phase, and I've not noticed anything "obvious". I can post a simple CSV file of the Reg and File accesses during a retry - about 2 x A4 pages - in case anyone might spot anything suspicious. Presumably, a comparison between the logs of a successful install, and a 1606-one, should identify the cause of the 1606, but this would be a massive project - involving hundreds of thousands of file/reg/svs entries/events - without some very very tight filtering on the entries.
Any suggestions MOST welcome!
Jackie: I'm using Firefox browser, 3.6. I doubt if it's the cause of the problem - but, at this stage, "anything's possible"!.

I solved this problem by using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (WICU) to uninstall the old Java release.
After that, the new Java release installed perfectly.
Error 1606. is a very common error and almost always can be solved by using WICU to uninstall the previous installation.
You can get this error for most any software that using the microsoft installer.

ADOBE READER 8.1 WILL NOT WORK-KEEP GETTING ERROR MESSAGE 1606: COULD NOT ACCESS NETWORK LOCATION %APPDATA%

Have tried to uninstall the Adobe Program but it will not let me. I keep getting the 1606 error message. I have went to the Microsoft Help site and it says that the registry may need to be modified. They also advised you that if you do not modify it correctly you may have very serious problems.

Some registry entry may have been corrupted, and it needs to be fixed. If you don't know how to edit the registry, do you have somebody who is confident enough to edit the Windows registry?
Anyway, for now I just want you to check something in the registry - don't modify anything yet!
Click Start | Run | type regedit [Enter]
Once the Registry Editor is open, drill down to the following subkey
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
In here you should see multiple entries, one being AppData - what is the data value on the right side? It should be %USERPROFILE%\Application Data.
Please close the registry editor now, and report back what you found.

I'm getting Error 1606. Could not access network location \.

After finally getting QuickTime standalone loaded successfully, I went to install ITunes and got the above message. I looked on this discussion board and found the link that recommended editing the registry entry: "HKEYCURRENTUSER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\USER SHELL FOLDERS. The link told me to double click on Common Administrative Tools, but I have no such entry in this folder. What do I do next. Thanks. Rich

check 'em again, one of them is wrong and pointing to a network location instead of your C: drive. They give a list of 5 main registry keys to check through, could take you some time.
And BTW, that article isn't very clear. The entries for
HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
should read like this
AppData value=%USERPROFILE%\Application Data
Cache calue=%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Cookies value = %USERPROFILE%\Cookies
and so on, instead of having a drive letter, they are set for %USERPROFILE%

Error 1606 reads "Could not access network location %APPDATA%\".

Database Studio 7.9.08.09 - Could not access to user management; Deleting old settings and reinstallation did not bring a change -- database studio deinstallation cannot be performed anymore

Hi Community,
for a few months I have been struggling with a SAP Max DB database Studio issue and finally, I had to give up the idea of being able to fix this on my own. I am desperately seeking for help and I hope that you may be able to give me a hint, advice or even a solution.
This is what happened:
I used to run Windows 7 on 32bit. I also had Database Studio installed - which was running fine then.
After a harware upgrade, I am running now Windows 7 on a 64 bit System. All my files from my local disk (C:\) have been restored and copied onto my new system.
I reinstalled Database Studio Version 7.9.08.09 onto my new System. But on the first try to start the program I received the error that said "Could not Access to user Management.See Window -> Show View-> Event Log Viewer for more Details."
However the Event Log Viewer was empty.
After searching the web for a solution, I followed the advice given in this community and deinstalled Database Studio and deleted the C.\Users\MyAccount\sdb folder manually.
I reinstalled Database Studio and started it as Administrator.
However, the error is still appearing.
And, what makes it even worse is : now I am not able to uninstall Database Studio anymore.
When I run SAP MaxDB Installation Manager and select the instance of database Studio to be uninstallled I am receiving the error:
"ERR: Unhandled Exception: Can't call method: "GenPackageList" on an undefined value at SDB/Install/Gui/Dialogs/SelectInstance.pm line 328"
Any advice is highly appreciated.

I am running the following Java-Version:

I myself am not a SAP customer. However, the Company I am working for is a SAP customer.
Can you explain in Detail, how to create a ticket with SAP?

QT install error 1606: Could not access network location 1\lib\ext\

This all began when trying to update to latest version of iTunes 9.0.3. I first tried running the update via iTunes, and saw this message. Next, I downloaded the update file (iTunes + QT) and ran from my desktop as admin. Still the same result.
I have removed both QT and iTunes from my computer. I have deleted the temp folder (C:\users\owner\AppData\Local\Temp), restarted computer. Ran QT installer only and still same message.
I did download the Windows Install Cleanup utility, but couldn't use it directly on QT or iTunes as they were already deleted. I did use it to remove the other Apple programs resident on the computer.

What's happening with this one ... as far as I can work out, the \lib\ext\ being mentioned in the error message refers to Java program directories. The QuickTime installer tries to put a file into those locations ... for example, on my Lenovo, the file in question is:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip
So, if there's some sort of issue with Java on the PC, sometimes the install of that file doesn't go through, and we get the network location error messages. Whatever the precise nature of the problem with the Java location is, updating or installing Java seems to help get people past it.

Deploy Web Site Error:Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SqlServerCe, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies

I have created a ASP.NET web Site (not Web application), using Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate and "SQL Server Compact 4.0 Local Database" in my C# Code.
I am able to successfully compile & publish the website to another IIS Web Server, with Operating System Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. I can even test, successfully, this website on the machine I developed it in.
I am publishing the website, from within Visual Studio, to a Network web server running IIS. To Publish I am using Build-> "Publish Web Site". In the Publish Profile, I am using Web Deploy Method. Even though I am using, successfully,
"SQL Server Compact 4.0 Local Database" in my website, the "settings" (in Publish Profile) does not detect any Databases in the project. Which may not be a problem.
When I try to bring up the web site on the IIS Web Server machine I get the following error..
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SqlServerCe, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies .
As my project is a Web Site, not Web Site Application, I do not have a references node in the Solution Explorer. I think the System.Data.SqlServerCe.dll, which is type GAC in my project, is not getting published to the webserver, which is causing this Error.
Can I copy this .dll over manually ? If yes, where to put on the ISS Web Server ? I do not see any bin folder.
Any help to resolve this error will be appreciated.

Hello.. I went ahead and created web application project and have gone past that error. But I have a new error now
System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeException: Unable to load the native components of
SQL Server Compact corresponding to the ADO.NET provider of version 8876.
Install the correct version of SQL Server Compact. Refer to KB article 974247
for more details.
Compiling and Publishing (Deployment) are both successful
In my project, when adding reference to SQL Server Compact Edition , there are 2 possible locations to reference the DDL from:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v4.0\Private
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v4.0\Desktop.
I have tried both. I get the same error as shown above.
Interestingly, in My WebConfig, I do not see any reference to System.Data.SqlServerCe.
Yet, the Website works when I click on Ctrl+F5
