To add Cover page in SAP Script if pages are more than 10.

Hello Experts,
I want to print a Cover page first if and only if number of pages exceeds 10 in SAP Script.
Cover Page should be the first page and then the remaiing pages.

It's not possible to find the no of pages the script will generate, until it's printed. Again, you need the cover letter as the first page.
There could be a solution to your requirement. Call the script and get OTF format without printing it to spool. You will get to know the no of pages in the main script . If it's more than 10, call the secondary script to get the OTF data of cover letter. Merge the OTF of main script to OTF of cover letter and print the OTF data to spool using FM PRINT_OTF.
Check this link for similar code. In your case, the spool of the two sapscripts needs to be merged.

If # is coming means, that is the problem with the printer. I think u might have used your local printer to see the print preview.
Don't use LOCL or LP01. Our local printer won't recognize those characters.
Just change the printer name to client printer name. It will work.

Hi Gurus,
How to use same page fragment more than once in a page. I have a complex page fragment which has lots of Bindings (Binding Property set with backingBean variables).
I want to use the same page fragment multiple times on the same page with different tabs.
I want different ApplicationModule Instance for the page fragment in different tabs.
So I have created a Bounded Taskflow with pagefragments which has this complex pagefragment.
I've dragged the taskflow to page and created regions.
I'm able to execute the page successfully when I have only one region but fails if I have region more than once in the page.
Can anyone help me how to resolve this issue.
Web User Interface Developer's Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework: section 19-2 states we can have same pagefragment more than once in a page.

Finding last page in SAP Script when there are multiple layouts involved?

Hi,
I want to find out the last page in the SAP script. I have used &NEXTPAGE& = '0', this is finding the last page of a one layout however I do have three layouts in my script. I have also used the &SAPSCRIPT-JOBPAGES(3ZC)& and I have taken one counter and comapred as follows-
If &SAPSCRIPT-COUNTER_1(+)& = &SAPSCRIPT-JOBPAGES(3ZC)&
LAST PAGE.
endif.
This is also not working. Please advise if there is anyway to find out the last page from print program.

Hi,
U can do like this, Set a flag in ur driver program when u reach to print the last layout then pass this flag value to Script. In script check when this FLAG = 'X' & &NEXTPAGE& = 0 then u print the required in ur last page.
Eg:
define a FLAG in ur driver program and make the value as 'X' when it reach the last layout.
in script, write the condition like:
/: IF &FLAG& = 'X' AND &NEXTPAGE& = 0
write text.
/: ENDIF.

I want to display help text for each region in my page. I have 5 regions in my page.
I have a big help text for each of my region so can any easy way is there to put the help text for each region more than 10 lines .I tried lot by searching forums but not able to implement. any document is there then please let me know.

i mean either if we click the region title name it should display some help text of near about 10 lines in a popup window.
Or on moseover whenever we will put the cursor into the region title then it should displat the help text message of line 10.

Can I use Pages with more than one user?

I recently purchased Pages and want to be able to use it with two different users (one personal, one business). Is this possible? If so, how? I have no problem using it with the user I purchased it with, but my business user does not the option for Pages in the launchpad. How can I use Pages across users?

Pages should be installed in the Applications folder at the top level of your hard drive to be available to all users of that Mac. By default, if you are logged in as an administrator, applications are installed in this folder. I haven't done it, but I understand that if you are not an administrator, applications are installed only in that user's applications folder.
My installation of iWork is from the retail disc from more than three years ago but I did check for an app purchased from the Mac App Store in another user account on my Mac & had no problems finding it or launching it from Launchpad. Launchpad can be very cluttered &, unless you take the time to organize it, it can be very difficult to find a particular application. I would suggest trying to launch Pages from a Finder window or with a Spotlight search. And keep the Pages icon in the Dock for easy access the next time.

Use FBL3N report and input your Cash Payment GL accounts which are used in FBCJ for cash payments
It will give you a list of all payments made and you can filter the report based on amount...
Also, you can include Vendor account as "Off setting" field.. If off set account is not available in the report, include it from Extras > Settings > Special FIelds... This will generate a workbench request which you need to transport from DEV to Production
Also, if Offset field is not ppopulated, refer SAP OSS note 112312... This has all the steps you would need

Hi,
you cannot add new fields using ITCSY. It is the interface structure between a SAPscript an a value-changing form-routine.
Need example anyway?

Table where Sap-Script Paragraph formats are stored

does anyone know the table where the Paragraph formats are stored?
Problem: we have a Form with 740 Paragraph formats, they all are of font-type courier, and now need to be either blank or Helve.
and well i simply dont want to change 740 paragraph formats manually.

I already know how to create and edit paragraph formats in SE71.
Those 740 Paragraph formats have been created by myself.
But now i need to make a change of the Font type to all of them.

How do I stop firefox from refreshing pages constantly? I have to click "back" dozens of times if I'm on a page for more than 15 seconds.

every page on every open tab refreshes every 30 seconds and each time it is saved in my cache. If I want to go back to a previous page, I have to click back once for every 30 seconds I was on the current page. Very annoying!! It just started doing this recently and I don't know why. I did reset the about:config to "0", but that didn't help.

Want to block tracking for speed (page loading) more than privacy. Will it help? What are appropriate addons?

When loading pages, new sites off of Google new for instance, I notice that the page takes a very long time to load while analytics load for google, facebook, advertisers, etc, in the bottom left of the screen. It seems to have gotten much much worse in the last couple of years. The pages load MUCH faster with javascript disabled. But too many other web functions require javascripting to leave it off permanently.
Would a Firefox add-on help speed things up a bit by blocking tracking/analytics? Would it disrupt too much other content/service?

It is a royal pain to use until you get it setup for all your commonly visited website - there's a steep learning curve with NoScript, but I wouldn't surf without it.
If you are not already blocking advertisements, you might want to consider AdblockPlus and a good filterset.

I keep a default version of Firefox installed to refer to so I don't forget what the average user has to deal with, when I am doing "support". It really irks me when web page loading is delayed while waiting for a a slow "ad server" to decide which advertisement it is going to load for me for that web page visit.

Custom package layout problem when there are more than 6 pages

When I add a seventh page to a custom package layout for printing whatever changes that are made to that page take affect on page 1 not on page 7, i.e. if a I rotate a cell on page 7 the affect is not seen on page 7 but it is on page 1 which messes up the layout on page 1, and if I add an eighth page any changes made to it are seen on page 2 and so forth. How do I prevent this so changes made to pages after page 6 are independent of the earlier pages?

There are a number of Bugs in Firefox that can cause that to happen. A few of those Bugs have been fixed for Firefox 4.0, but the developers decided not to "backport" those fixes to 3.6.x or 3.5.x for some reason.

Uploading iWeb page to Tripod doesn't happen because there are more than 3 levels of subdirectories.

I've used both Tripod and Yahoo as web page holders for many years. Pages I create in iWeb will FTP to Yahoo, but not to Tripod. Once it gets to the "Scripts" folder, uploading stops at, "Navbar". It tells me there are too many levels of subdirectories. Is there a way to simplifiy the iWeb hierachy? Thanks

You can cut out one level by not uploading the main folder produced by iWeb...

I have "upgraded" from Pages 2.0.2 to Pages 5.5.3 and can no longer customize my line spacing. Does anyone know if there are more than 4 options for line spacing?

Is it possible to customize line spacing in Pages 5.5.3? My previous Pages 2.0.2 allowed me to choose spacing in 0.1 increments, but as far as I can tell Pages 5.5.3 only offers four options. Very limiting for creative documents.
