To capture the joining date

Hi,
Is it possible to capture the joining date required by the applicant in PB10?
We want to capture the time required for joining for an applicant i.e 1 or 2 months. How this can be be captured in PB10 screen.  Please let me know the table name and how to configure it
Request if anyone can help me out with this.

There is an option available in pb40 where you can create a new action called "tentative date of joining" try it out. It may fit your requirement. If you execute TOJ, you get an action screen where you can maintain the possible date of joining. Once you save it, it gets back to PB40 screen. It can also be used to send follow up reminder mails to the applicable people by setting the infogroup as a flag in feature M0001 on an appropriate idtext. If that is not enough you can further create new action with your custom names and behavior with dynamic actions.
You must configure new action as follows
SPRO -> Personnel Management -> Recruitment -> Applicant Actions -> Change applicant actions
Here make new entry witha code "xx" and name "Tentative date of joining", status should be 1 or what ever applicable, you can check mark enter personnel area, applicant group and applicant range, it is not mandatory. it is just for selection criteria. then leave infogroup empty and checkmark update infotype.
Next step go to following path:
SPRO -> Personnel Management -> Recruitment -> Dialog Controls -> Change Action Menu -> Applicant Actions Menu
Make new entry here with applicable usergroups, sequence where this TOJ must appear in PB40 and then insert "xx" as your customized action, then check for the same if it appears in pb40 and and working. You must get a screen where applicant action is shown. Once entry is made and saved it gets back to pb 40 and not other IT will be displayed.

    Hi Ravi,
    The system is defaults to capture the document date as baseline date,  the user wants to change the baseline date which has been captured by the system, then he changed the baseline date while posting the vendor park invoice.
    later he is saying that the changed baseline date is not taken again it has taken the document only. why it has happend like this.
    one question:- is user can change the baseline date while posting the vendor invoice ?  if he can change how the system should be configured for this where the setting should be made to take baseline date as given by the user.
    Appreciate any one suggest me on this request.
    Thanks

  • How can I capture the screen data sheet from netwrork analyzer?

    Hi All!
    Could you help help me this! I want to capture the screen data from network analyzer, and save it to my PC. How can I do that with LabVIEW 8.0?

    Hello,
    Do you know if the 8722A is similar to the 8722B or C model?  We have a LabVIEW driver for those, but the A model is not listed.  Click here to go to the driver download site.  Even though your instrument may not be on the list, the driver may still work with your instrument, so I recommend downloading and installing it to see if you get anything.
    When you want to capture the whole screen, what exactly do you mean?  Do you want to capture an actual screenshot of the display of the analyzer or do you just want to capture all the data in digital format and send it into LabVIEW? Do you need an excel type file?  Are you seeing the display on the instrument itself or a user interface panel program on your computer?  If on your computer, is it LabVIEW or a different software program?  I am sorry, but I am not familiar with your instrument or how it works, but hopefully we can get this figured out for you!

  • IDOC capturing the old data from Vendor master instead of modified data

    Hello Friends,
    Could you please guide me on the below issue  ?
    Vendor master was changed with the address being modified at 1300 system time.   => change log shows as 1300
    Payment run and IDOC generation ( RFFOEDI1 ) was executed at 1400 system time.  =>  IDOC created time as 1400
    but  , Still the  IDOC captured the old vendor master address data onto the IDOC .
    this is very strange to me and no idea how this can happen.
    thanks

    Moderator message: I am sorry but I had to remove the "correct answer" as it was not correct.
    It is well possible to remove the purchasing view via archiving, since archiving of vendor masters is divided into 3 activities: archiving purchasing view, archiving company code views, archiving general data.
    Of course there are preconditions: you cannot archive purchasing data view if you had already created orders. In that case you have to archive the orders first.
    See the network graphic,  in SARA enter object FI_ACCPAYB, then click the icon for network.
    In that particular case you would even create inconsistencies if you delete a table entry.
    And before you delete table entries you should in general know about the relationship of tables.
    Just thinking that a vendor master is LFA1, LFB1 and LFM1 is much to short. Goto DB15, enter FI_ACCPAYB (this is the archiving object) in the lower part and see how much tables are returned. These are all tables that can have data if you maintain a vendor master.
    Now check all those tables if they have a relation to LFM1 and if they contain data
    what will happen if you delete the vendor despite of existing orders? you probably get a dump when you access the purchase order.

  • Chaneg data capture--interface unable to capture the changed data

    hello,
    when i add a src table to cdc and start a journal,
    i am able to view the new insertions into the source table ,in journal data of the table.
    but when i run an interface the journalised data isnt getting updated in the target table.....
    but there is no error message comming up ...what do i do ?

    Hi,
    when you create interface and check mark the Journalize Data Only, there is a filter created on that datastore with JRN_SUBSCRIBER name. Make sure this subscriber name is same as the SUBSCRIBER that you have mentioned when you registered subscriber on the Datastore. If these two are different, then you will not be able to fetch data. Check the SNP_SUBSCRIBER table to get the subscriber name for the datastore/source table and in the filter give the same name.
    Let me know if it is working...

  • Problem in capturing the edited data while the table is sorted

    hi,
    i am using the TableSorter class provided by the sun tutorials to add sorting capability for my JTable. i need to print on the screen, the value of the cell whenever it is updated. so i am using TableModelListener and its tableChanged() method for this purpose. if i edit the data without applying the sorting then its printing fine. But if i edit the data with table sorted in a particular order by clicking on the table header then the tableChanged method is not being called. So some problem lies in the table sorter which is preventing the call to the tableChanged method whenver table it is sorted. Below is my implementation of JTable.
    TableSorter sorter = new TableSorter(new MyTableModel());
    final JTable table = new JTable(sorter);
    table.getModel().addTableModelListener(new
    TableModelListener()
         public void tableChanged(TableModelEvent e)
              int row = e.getFirstRow();
                                               int column = e.getColumn();
              System.out.println("Row: "+row+" Coloumn:  "+column);
    );Hope u understood the problem. plzz help
    thanx

    hi camickr,
    However the row number displayed is always the row of
    the TableModel before the data has been sorted. this is the feature i am trying for and couldnt achieve it. i do want to print the row of tablemodel before data is sorted but i am getting 0 and -1 as row and column numbers.
    I never saw -1 as a column number.
    if you have never seen -1 as column number then just compile and run the code given below. I just added a table model listener to the table model to capture data editing. So if u edit any cell without applying sorting then its row and column number is printed properly but if u sort a particlar column and with sorting on if u edit any cell you will get row No. as 0 and column No. as -1. try running below code and please let me know where the problem exists or post your code which worked without any of the above problems.
    I believe the code was updated in Feb of this year,
    so make sure you have the most recent version.yes i have the latest version of tablesorter.

  • Capturing the changed data in the interactive forms through HTML Viewer

    Dear all,
    I'm showing the Interactive Adobe form in the HTML Viewer and I want to capture it back after the user enters data in the form and save it to application server.
    Can I get some help on this. Please attach supporting documents if any.
    Regards
    Aravind

    sorry i've got no document describing this. under service.sap.com/adobe you'll find a lot of Adobe content.
    But basically use the Adobe Designer from program files\adobe\design 7.0\formdesigner.exe
    create new form based on the CAF tutorials in the Interactive Forms section, add a new data connection to a wsdl, bind input/output parameters to form fields and get a button executing the wsdl operation.
    create your interactive form callable object based on that template, configure the form to start process and as impersonalized form. create the form from the GP administration screen, download it and test it.
    ...And Good Luck!!!

  • What is the best way to capture the Form data Temporarly

    Hi,
    I have a form with lot of validations.
    Suppose user entered some of the fields and he decided to fill rest of the field later on.
    So he now want to save the record temporarly without applying any validation and next time when user logs in, the form should be populated with those invalid data and then he continues to fill up the rest of the fields, now once he SUBMIT the page..all the business validations should apply and record is commited.
    What is the best approach to acheive this??
    Have any one has the done this kind of requirement.
    Thanks,
    Deepak

    This is a little more complex as well because you'll need to save this data in a "temporary" table. Not temporary like global temporary, but just a staging table that has no constraints. In a real application, your table would not have NOT NULL constraints, but your user may not use them.
    Along with the previous post, you may need to follow this logic:
    1) If the save as draft button is clicked, you save to the table with no constraints.
    2) When someone tries to navigate to the form, you first check the "draft" table and if there is a record there, pull it. Otherwise pull from your production table.
    3) When the person clicks the commit/submit/etc button, save the data back to your "draft" table, copy the information over to the production table, and delete the temporary record.
    It's a lot of coordination honestly - my client asked for the same thing and when I explained the complexity involved for a form that only had 5 or 6 fields, they agreed. And when I say complex, I tell them it will cost them more money, yet provide little benefit. That usually solves it quickly.

  • How to capture file modification date and time over the web

    HI!
    I am creating a web based application and I am using webutil package for al lot of my work being that I ma working with renamin,deleting and uploading files for a users machine to the database. There is one functionality thing that I have to do in this application that webutil does not take care of and that is capturing the modification date and time from a file on the users machine. Please help me capture the date and time of a file on the users machine.
    Thanks!

    Since webutil allows you to write file on client PC directory, then you first create a directive file, then host that directive file. the directive file content is just the command lines when you manually do it on PC.

    To capture job logs, try this:
    Get job log
      select single joblog into tbtco-joblog from tbtco
                    where jobname = <your jobname>
                      and jobcount = <your jobcount>.
      check sy-subrc = 0.
    Convert to message type
      call function 'COMMON_LOG_READ_T100'
           exporting
                client                        = sy-mandt
                logname                       = tbtco-joblog
           tables
                logtable                      = logtable
           exceptions
                logname_missing               = 1
                log_handle_error              = 2
                log_is_empty                  = 3
                log_not_found                 = 4
                temse_conversion_not_possible = 5
                temse_error                   = 6
                temse_function_error          = 7
                others                        = 8.
    logtable will contain message ID, message type, message number, etc. from T100.

  • How to capture the data if i am using two Fiscal year variant

    Hi
    My client is required need two type financial statement one is as per company act and calender year.  Other one is company act and fiscal year.
    regarding we have maintain two fiscal year variant one is assigned to company code as per calender yr other one is assigned to Spl.Pr G/L. but how to capture the financial data from company code in case we are using two fiscal yr variant.
    Rekha

    Hi
    U cannot maintain two two fiscal year varaint for a company code in GL. As said by u maintain one fiscal year varaint for GL and the other one for FI SL. When u post FI document in GL automatically the same will flow into FI SL for the corressponding period.
    For example ur Fiscal year varant is April to March in GL
    and Callendar year in FI SL and u do a posting in April 1 (period 1) in GL then it post it to  4th period in FI SL automatically since April is the 4th period in FI SL since it uses K4 as the fiscal year variant.

  • Can the material date of manufacture be captured

    HI
    currently, the date on SAP is the date we capture the receipt against the PO for a raw material,my  question is  related to using another field so that you can capture the manufacturing date and run a report to track the dates of stock on hand.
    this is for raw materials procured externally for which i want to track the manufacturing dates and want to run a report to see what is on stock.

    Hi,
    Inorder to capture Date of Manufacturing you dont have any standard by SAP to have a tab in PO,
    But it can be achieved while taking GR of a material.To get this you need to follow few steps.
    Firstly create a material with *Batch management active and Min. Rem. Shelf Life and Total shelf life
    Now create a Class in CL02 and assign the standard characteristic LOBM_VFDAT which calculates the Expiration date, shelf life
    And asign this above created class in classification view of your material
    Now if you create a PO after all above settings and do GR then while doing MIGO you can see Date of Manufacture in Batch tab.
    Here you can give the manufacturing date of the material so that system will calculate the shelf life expiry date by itself with the sort rule which has to be created in Tcode CU70.
    In creation of sortrule in CU70 you can define whether you want FIFO or LIFO of isuing the material.
    Thanks.

  • Need to capture a Status date and keep it unchanged if I change the status

    Hi,
    I have a task list with multiple status like NOT STARTED, IN PROGRESS, WAITING FOR PROOF, WAITING ON SOMEONE ELSE, APPROVED, COMPLETED.
    Now, I wanted to capture the WAITING FOR PROOF date so that I can compare it with TASK DUE date and set if it is "On Due" or Over Due" so I used the following syntax:
    =IF(OR(Status="Waiting for proof",Status="Waiting on someone else"),DATE(YEAR(Modified),MONTH(Modified),DAY(Modified)))
    This works, but if I change the status from WAITING FOR PROOF to COMPLETED, the captured date is changed to "No" which I do not want to happen. I want to retain the same date captured even if I change the status.
    Many thanks,
    Vasanth

    Vasanth, your issue is because you are using the "modified" field whichchanges anytime you open the record. What you may need to add is a datefield that you control and will hold the date you which to compare against. You could initially capture the "created" date in that field then update it ONLY if specific field changes happen so you can change the Status field without disturbing your date comparison. This would require some calculated fields to update this date field only when it is necessary. Good luck!
