To create images continuously using a byte array  while streaming video

Can someone please help me in creating images from a byte array continuously which is required while streaming video on implementation of RTP?

    Can anyone please explain me how to use the concept of byte arrays.. to perform credit and debit operations of a 6byte amount. Say for example.. the amount contains 3 bytes whole number, 1 byte decimal dot and 2 bytes fractional part.

    as explained in the other topic, remember your high school years and how you leart to add numbers.
    then, reproduce these algorithms for base-256 numbers.
    fractional? just google about fixed point math and floating point math. The first one is easier, as they are managed as integers.
    example, you want to store 1,42€. Then you decide the real number to deal with is N*100, and you store 142. You get 2 decimal places of precision.
    in the computer world it's easier to store n*256 as it's just a byte shift.
    then the addition operations are the same, and you just interpret the values as fractional numbers.

I have written the code to get the image from the remote server in a java class. The java class returns the byte array of the image and i have to display that in an servlet.

    Can you clarify whether you are asking about video that you are streaming from the Internet to your Mac through the Time Capsule?
    Or, are you asking about streaming video that is already stored on the Time Capsule to your Mac?
    In either case, what happens....video quality wise..... if you test by temporarily turning off the wirelss on the Mac and then connecting it to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule using a spare Ethernet cable for a few hours?

  • Create Image Catalog using Bridge?

    I have a collection of ClipArt CD's, definietly over a thousand images in total. I'd like to create a catalog of these images, so there would be ~20 per page (I guess thumbnails), along with the file name, and the CD it came from. I suppose each CD would have it's own set of pages (E.g. header of page = "CD 23").
    Is there any way I can create such a catalog using Adobe Bridge, or maybe a different Adobe product? If not, would there be any other products (ideally freeware) that would do this?

  • Using iPad to view live streaming video?

    Hi,
    I currently got a gig recording game day videos for a local school. Right now, I'm recording with a panasonic digital camera with a firewire 800 cable going straight to my Macbook Pro. I am using iMovie right now to record it "live."
    We saw an other school have a similar setup, but they are also able to stream the video to their coach's iPad. I've asked their video guy, but he didn't want to share his setup. Is there a software or additional hardware that is needed to make this possible? Any advice would be great, and thanks for your help in advance.

    ah the old blue lego. i think means that the video/site requires flash. which the ipod touch doesn't have. and as of yet is not available.

  • No audio while streaming videos when using Firefox

    Sometimes when I try to stream a video from sites like putlocker, sockshare, youtube etc. the video plays fine but there's no audio. Sometimes the audio will play if I reload the page. Also, if the video is playing and I pause it and then play it after some time, the audio may go off again. This is happening a little more often now and its annoying. If I play the same in another browser, the audio plays just fine.

    Did you check the volume setting in the Flash player?
    You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

    *disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later

    i am using a servlet using tomcat server to send multiple images to a client. i have stored all the images in a single byte array.and then encoded using base64. i am sending it to the client side and decoding it. when i extract the byte array and then try to convert it to image it shows an illegal argument exception.please help me?

    long?He wanted an unsigned int (which of course doesn't
    exist in Java) and if you look at his original code it
    was returning long.Well, it's not so much that I wanted an unsigned int, it's just that the data was stored as a 32 bit unsigned integer. Since the data represented numbers with a range of 0 to 2^32 - 1, the range exceeded what I could put in a Java int, thus I need to stuff it in a long - well, that was my reasoning anyway.

    1. I tryied saving the image in a .jpg file,

            fos1.close();3. Once I have the image in a file I'm trying to load it using a JButton, but the JButton doesn't display the image. I think that for some unknown (at least for me ;-) reason the file isn't still available to be used in the ImageIcon, this is my code:

            jBtnDocu = new JButton(imgIconDocu);What's wrong here?

    Does the byte array contain a JPEG image? Where did
    you get the contents of the byte array?yes the array contains the JPEG image, I have a database in PostgreSQL, and the images are stored in blob in the database. I have to call a service in the server and in return it gives me the 3 images as byte arrays, that's the reason I only have the byte arrays. so I tryed saving the images as jpeg files in my hard disk to show them, but it appears that they are not available to show them in Swing after saving them. I can only show the images if I close my application and start it again :-(
    I tryed flushing and closing the FileOutputStream after the writting process (fos.write(bytearrayImage);
    fos.flush();
    fos.close();)
    Y also tryed:
    fos.write(bytearrayImage);
    fos.close();
    fos.flush();But it doesn't work either :-(
    What do you recommend me?.

  • Imageicon created from byte array gives -1 height and -1 width...

    when I am trying to create an imageicon object from byte arrays the length and width of the object are coming to be -1.So I am unable to resize the image..
    This is happening for only few images, most of them are working fine and I can resize it...
    What possibly could be wrong??
    ImageIcon imageIcon = new ImageIcon(pImageData) where pImageData is bytearray..
    but I am getting imageIcon.getIconWidth()=-1
    and
    imageIcon.getIconHeight()=-1
    Can anyone help???

  • Using the jprogress bar for file byte array downloads

    I am currently using a byte array to send files back and forth between computers. To show a file is transferring i change the mouse to the hour glass but would like to use the jprogressbar.
    To send the file i read the file from one computer into a byte array, and then send it through an objectoutputstream. I am not sure how the file is sent or received though. What can i use to judge the length of time it takes to get one file from one computer to the other? In doing a debug, it looks like the oos sends the file to the other computer, and it is basically like an uploading process. is there a way for me to judge or tell how much of the file that is being uploaded is left?

    If i know the file size how can i then check the progression? I would also like to use an progress bar on the upload of a file to the other computer, and for the download of the byte array to the other computer i could first give it the file size. if then what can i use to base my progression off of?
    i looked at this and it says i am not able to do it, but thought there might have been improvements in the jdk since then, and i might not be seeing them

    If you don't need to manipulate the image in any way I would suggest you just read the image file directly into a byte array (without ImageReader) and then create the BufferedImage from that byte array.
