To delete a row created through "Add Another Row" in OA Framework
Hi All,
I am using Add another Row concept in one of OA page.
The fields in row are mandatory.
So if user cliaks on add another ro, so new row gets added, but suppose he doesnt enter any data then it gives error on submit button, saying"fileds are mandatory".
Is there anyway by which user can delete the row created by "Add another Row".

Actually I want to remove the row where user has not entered any data.
As the some of the fields are mandatory, so when user clicks on submit button, it throws error that please enter values for mnadtory fields. I want to remove this validation for the row where user has not entered any data.

Add another row in the advanced table

i am having trouble with adding another row in the advanced table, the first thing is that i have created an add another row in the footer but when i click the add button an error occurs and the other problem is that the advenced table is retrieving rows from the database with some data in it but what i want when i add another row is to add a row in the same table but with the fields empty so that the user can fill them by himself to be added to the same table in the database

Advanced table Add another row
Hello everyone,
I have created an advanced table region in my custom page. This is not a mandatory region in my page but there are other fields which are mandatory in the page. Right now i am unable to add another row in the advanced table unless all the other mandatory fields in the page are given some values.
Is there any way to comeout of this situation.

In the Advanced table, i have a delete button(its of type image) for which i have disabled the client and server side validations and implemented PPR for that button. Now when i click on the delete, the page moves up after deleting the row and i don't want that.
How should i handle this situation?

How to add another row dynamically in Adobe Forms ?
Hello All,
Can someone advise on how am I able to add another row to my table upon the click of a button in Adobe Form ?
Based on some sample PDFs that I downloaded from the net as reference, it seems that all I need to do is add the statment "_Car.addInstance(1)" in the script editor that will trigger upon a clicking of a button where Car is a subform that is of Type : Flow Content and Direction : Table Row set.
Any suggestion/advise will be greatly appreciated.

Be aware, though, that while you are able to add any number of additional lines on the PDF, the original Web Dynpro context is not aware of these actions. This means that your application needs to create the corresponding new nodes in the context before the data contained in these nodes can be submitted back to the application.

Urgent: Add another Row feature and Query bean
Hi,
I have added "Add another Row" feature to the result table of a query bean which is results based search. The table is also updateable. I am able to update rows, save, rollback and query another set of records again without any problem.
But, if I add a row, save or rollback those changes and go back and perform a query, it doesn't return any records. What would I be missing?

When I try to add another row to a classic table I get the following error:
Attribute set for Responsibility in view object UserRespsUpdateVO1 failed.
I followed the directions exactly in the Classic Tables: Adding Rows section of the help files. What would be causing this error?
Also, the Add Another Row button always covers the last row of my table when it first renders. The last row of the table is only seen after pressing Add Another Row or after using the browser Back button and then returning to the page a second time.

TapashThanks for your help, Tapash. All my former problems are now resolved. I wrote my own code to replace the default behavior for adding a new row. Everything works fine except for one thing: when I try to add more than one row at a time, I get an error complaining about one of the fields being required. The default behavior used to handle this automatically, so now I need to know how to do that myself. Any advice you could give me would be most appreciated.

Unable to delete Planning application created through EPMA

Iam unable to delete the planning application created through EPMA.Tried logging in as admin still its not allowing.
I tried in application view-> right click and delete.it will ask for all related info and when I say 'delete', the status is aborted.
Can anyone tell whether we can delete an application created through EPMA. or is there a way to delete in backend.

You could try and find more information from the logs, first change the level of logging for EPMA, it is set as standard to INFO and it is probably best changed to DEBUG.
To do this
Stop EPMA
Go to the deployed Web application directory.
For Tomcat, this is C:\Hyperion\deployments\Tomcat5\EPMAWebTier\webapps\awb\WEB-INF\conf.
Open AWBLog4j.properties.
Modify this line:
log4j.logger.com.hyperion.awb=ERROR,logfile, stdout to log4j.logger.com.hyperion.awb=DEBUG ,logfile, stdout
RESTART EPMA
Then try and delete again and check to see if the logs have further information.

How to keep pressing add row button to add new row
Hello,
I know that you can set the add row process to add many rows at once by pressing the button one time, but can anybody show me how to make it possible to keep hitting the add row button and it keep adding a new line?
Right now it will only add one line and when I press the button again it does nothing.
Thank youHi, I have the same (or close) problem. I was trying to create a tubular form with ADDROW button and I did it. During creation wizard I did specify a table where added data should go. The solution I was looking for was to have only one empty row when I load my page and be able to add more empty rows one by one by clicking on ADD_ROW button. The problem is that when page loads it is already filled up with data from table (which I did specify during creation and where data should be writen to) and only when I press on ADD_ROW it will addd an empty one.
Is there a way to do it the way I wanted?

Multi-row form with button to save and add another row
Can you have a button on a multi-row tabular form that would save the current changes, and than open a new row up on the fom for a new entry to be entered? This would combine the save and add a row button functions.
Add Row button is doing exactly what you are asking for - it will save the chages you

Autoupdate SUM of certain cells if you add another row

I'm making a calculation of some kind. The sum of the calculation are in cell A1. The values are from A3 to A10. So in cell A1 I typed =SUM(A3:A10) and it worked. But let's say I add a value in cell A11, which I would want to be in the calculation of cell A1. Isn't there any easy way so cell A1 autoupdates from =SUM(A3:A10) to =SUM(A3:A11)?

The Numbers way to do this would be a table with a header row and footer row:
Put the sum formula in the footer row.
That gives you this:
Then you can click a cell in the last row of the body of the table, here row 10, and hit return.
Add a value there and you will see that the sum changes correctly.

Error when i remove a row after i add three rows
i have a table component to some person
if i add 2 new rows to the table without commit changes,

Master Detail Form - unable to add detail row
Dear,
I have a test application that runs for years on apex.oracle.com.
Since 3rd of june 2010 I am unable to add rows on a detail form.
Any ideas?

I share the same issue as Lorenz, on a Master/Detail form, I am able to create my Master row and but nothing happens when attempting to create detail rows. I was able to switch my application to theme 13 (Traditional Blue) from 2 (Blue and Tan) and was then able to create and add details rows.
My dilemma. When switching to theme 13 and others, none appear to support Two Level Tabs in the same manner as Theme 2. Essentially the applications look and feel is not going to go over well with my user base of 3+ years.
Is there another standard theme that will support Two Level Tabs like Theme 2 and allow the addition of detail rows on a Master/Detail form?
Is this a reported 4.0 conversion issue?
