To get selected cell info in table for WDA.

i'm developping in netweaver2004s.
a view has a table and a button.
another view has input fields.
i want to get cell info(selected field name not value)
so i use that info in another view.
i want to know same command 'GET CURSOR' in WDA.
please let me know that method.

Hi,
You can specify the importing parameter ID as type string in the action handler of the button. It will contain the ID of the button.

We have Oracle Human Resources 11.5.7 and I would like to know which is the best way to use when need to query data for employees valid within a specific period (From/To) or at specific date.
For example:
Say Current Date= 25-OCT-05
1.
If I want to query the number of employees booked for a training event occurred as at 01-AUG-05 and one of the employees booked left as at 30-SEP-05, I would like to be included in the query.
or 2.
If I want to see the employees assignment details for a specific period to see the active(latest) assignment details as at that period.
I would appreciate any feedback regarding the best way to do such queries as far as accuracy of data and performance is concerned.

Actually I'm already using this..
My problem is when I need to retrieve information for a specific period of time.
For example say I want to retrieve all sickness absences for Year 2004 and want to retrieve the last employee details (people & assignment tables) that fall within this period (either with an effective date >= sysdate (ie. still active) or which was current upto 31-dec-2004 and might changed later on).
To be more specific let's say an employee took sick leave in 2004 for total 10 days and has the following rows in per_people_f and per_assignments_f:
per_people_f:
start_date end_date person_id other personal details
01-FEB-2001 - 15-MAR-2004 3808 xxxx
16-MAR-2004 - 30-JUN-2004 3808 yyyy

How To get selected row in a table

Hi experts
 I have been using a table in which I am using a column Tree by nesting . I have written code for dynamically expanding table tree . But I want to know current selected element of the table, for this i have done following
steps
1) created an action on Action lead select of the table .
which has a parameter with type node element .
2) now i need to use parameter mapping in domodify view .
as
IWDTable tab = (IWDTable) view.getElement("CatalogTable");
 tab.mappingOfOnLeadSelect().addSourceMapping("XYZ", "element");
But i dont know what is correct parameter XYZ to be passed.
also if i am wrong in approach please let me know .

How to get the position of a selected cell in a table without using the mouse event?

Dear All,
    I have a question about table:After clicking the cell of a table, the cell is into the edit status. How to know the row number and column number of the cell, when I click a button?

How to get selected entity from ADF Table

I'm using EJB and ADF Faces.
I have an ADF Table, and when a row is selected I'd like to be able to get the EJB Entity that was selected, is this feasible?
The reason I would like to do it, is for a Dialog. I have a popup dialog, and in the popup the user can do a search. The results are displayed in the ADF table. When supplying the return value from the dialog:
AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().returnFromDialog(?, null);
I would like ? to be the EJB entity representing the row, because I need to return the value of more than one of the columns. Is this not realistic, or should I just add then to a List and pass that back?

I hacked some code from the inbuilt JDeveloper Help. Are you saying there is an easier way than this, or did I state the question poorly and you gave an answer to something else? My english is not always perfect.

Get selected elements from a table

I have a requirement like i m enhancing standard component in that i have added one button on click of that i want fetch the selected line item from the table ( which is a normal table). selection mode is auto.
i tried with the following code.

Instead you can directly read the node if that row is a lead selected one.

where is the above code written..is it written in OnLeadSelect event of the TABLE..

As the selection mode is Auto there is no multiple selection..hence try to use the lead selection only.

Calc: How can I get absolute cell references in tables to work?

Hi, I'm new to Star Office, and have run into a problem in my first spreadsheet.
I have a data table in my spreadsheet.
Some cells in the table need to make calculations based on other cells in the table.
When I sort the table, however, the cell references are made to be incorrect. I expected that I could just use absolute references (e.g. $A$2) and when the table was sorted those references would be updated to refer to the new absolute location of that cell, e.g. $A$10). However, the absolute references are being left literally the same ($A$2) after the sort, making them reference a different row of data than intended. Relative references of course don't work in this situation either (I tried for thoroughness). (I thought Excel behaved the way I expected, but I just tried it in Excel 2007 and it is exhibiting the same behavior as StarOffice Calc.)
I'm also concerned, although I haven't tried it yet, about what will happen when I reference cells in this table from another table using absolute references that the same problem will exist...
So basically, I can't find a way to use absolute references to cells in a table that will persist correctly when the table is sorted. Any suggestions?

I was able to work around the problem by creating an index column in the table with a unique number for each row of data and using vlookup() to reference the correct row. If there is a more elegant solution I'm still interested :)

OK. Think I've got it now thanks to looking at the short keys and searching for "Full Screen". The upper left key is "`" which looks like a grave - a slightly angled single quote. But when I look at the "Application" setting for Toggle full screen it is set to "'" - a "normal" single quote. Sure enough, if I hit the normal single quote key the toggle works.
I have not been anywhere near the hotkeys and can't imagine why anything would change it from a grave key to a single quote - especially as they look almost identical on the screen. I'm guessing that Adobe changed this (maybe only for international users?)
Anyway I now know how to toggle full screen, although it makes the "Premiere" keyboard with its big purple key for "Toggle full screen" redundant. Does make me wonder what the shortcut key of "'" or CTRL + "'" gives that I'm presumably missing since it appears to have been remapped.

Dr/Cr indictor getting updated wrongly in J_1IPART2 table for ETT-RLFC

Dear All,
While Reconciling the excise reports, I had been observed some issue in J_1IPART2 table for the excise transaction type RLFC.
All the entries for Excise TT RLFC the Dr/Cr indicator should be “S-DEBIT” but system has updated the value “H-CREDIT” for all the entries.
Because of this issue system is displaying the values wrongly in RG23APART2 register.
Reference Oss notes: 1756565/1907900.
I had raised oss to SAP as well only recieved intial response saying will be assigned to expert & he will get backs to you.
But I haven't recieved any response from SAP.

Need a better way to reset selected cells in a table

Hello all,
I have been looking at the various threads discussing resetting only selected fields in a form and leaving others unchanged.
The form I am working on has a table of 20 body rows with 8 columns. I want to have a reset button that resets 6 of the cells in each row.
I am using the following snippet:
for (var nRow = 1; nRow < 21; nRow++)
for (var nCell = 0; nCell < 6; i++)
xfa.host.resetData("form1.page1.wrapper.ICC.Table1.Row[" + nRow + "].rate[" + nCell + "]");
This works but is extremely slow (on the order of 10 seconds) and my pc is no slouch. There has to be a simpler (and faster!) way to do this.
I saw one thread where the cells that were to be spared from the reset could be listed but just could not make that work at all. I thought about putting the cells to be spared into a subform but that went nowhere, as I was only able to place individual cells into separate subforms.
Any suggestions will be welcome ... with formcalc script if possible:)

Just two small issues. I would wrap the first for loop in {} and then you have i++ in the second loop:

It looks like your table is static (rows do not repeat). One option would be to build up a variable/string with the objects names and then reset that. This is a reset example from one of our forms (http://assure.ly/gBJYj9). Here it is resetting one row and two fields outside of the table:

In InDesign, how can I name individual cells in a table for interactive PDFs?

Hi, I'm creating interactive PDFs for a client that include tables with empty cells that will be populated afterwards (depending on what information a customer puts in on a form).
The forms are created in InDesign and exported as interactive PDFs, but I need to be able to name the live fields (in InDesign) before I export the Interactive PDF, so that I don't have to select each indivual field in the final PDF and rename them.
The reason I want to be able to do this pre-PDF production, is because the forms will be rebranded over and over again and I don't want to have to rename hundreds of cells time and time again in Acrobat Pro.
The deveopler who's populating the cells already has predefined names for them, so I can's simply give him the names that Acrobat automatically defines.

What version of InDesign are you using? If CS6 or CC, you can add fields and enter a name for each in the Name field of the Buttons and Forms panel.

How to get selected value from a Table?

when i select a value form the table i want that value to be passed to controller for deleting that record,
please help in understaning what code must i write for the same?
the "Zpms_Master_Input.Output.It_P9001.Employee_Code" is the first field which i want to capture in some context or temp. variable to pass it on to controller for further porcessing.
please give a sample code on how do i catch this employee code value and use it for my processing.
