To include a guestbook

Hi everyone,
I would like to know, how to include guestbook in Adobe Muse.
My customers want to put some comments on a GuestBook...
Widget? Html Code?

This would require server side scripting to process the submitted data, insert it into a database and retrieve those comments on a page. Muse outputs purely HTML pages and such CMS features aren't natively supported in Muse at this time. However, this is possible to achieve if you publish the site to Business Catalyst and use the Comments module for the purpose (available in webMarketing plan and above) where the Users and Comments data would be stored on BC servers that you can always manage through the BC admin. Though this would require some coding skills to implement.
Or an easier alternative would be using Facebook Comments if that fits your purpose - http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/comments/

I am not sure if I want to make a guestbook, but since I work in Video Production, I want to create a page on my site for clients to comment on the work I did so potential clients visiting my site can read the comments that were posted. What do I need to do make a page like that?
This wouldn't be a blog but could I use the blog template for that? Perhaps apple will include a guestbook in a future update hopefully..

Need help embedding guestbook, stat counters, commentable blog

Hello, I am looking for a safe and easy way to add a few things to a webpage I am building for a non-profit.
-A guestbook which will allow users to note their presence, ideally would like to include a way to send their personal information (such as mailing address or email), but would not like this info published for privacy reasons. Does this sound like creating a login for some, "guest" for others not wanting to go through the trouble? How do I do this?
I do not know html, but am willing to learn. I am leary of using free software to create a form because I do not want the information in other people's hands (would like to respect the privacy of individuals). Is there any way to create a database/buttons and insert into the snippet? I'm sure it's not that easy, but there must be an easier way using iWeb. Index this information, now I know I'm asking for too much!
-Stats counter to get an idea on traffic.
-Also, tips on how to increase traffic, searchability and so forth.
-A Blog in which guests may submit their own information if desired.

Hello all, thanks for your help so far.
I've gone with a Wufoo form and have one of them sent to email. The other, on the other hand, I would like to be posted. I've looked at the integration sites they are compatible with (all which charge $). Is there any way to post the results via rss that is not one of there guys? I just would like, instead of an email, post it to site..Is this so complicated? OK, yes I know. I did notice that one of the partners puts the information into a forum, which seems like a pretty cool idea, too.
The baseline is: I would like visitors to be able to write their own information onto the site. However it gets there. Blogs, comments, forums.
And again, I do not use MobileMe. If Apple were to offer it to us as a donation (non-profit then we'd be happy to let everyone know that. Until then, we have to be as free as can be.

IWeb and guestbook

Thanks in advance for the answers, but do you know how to link to the guestbook installed on my server, in iWeb, without iframes? I want to make a page with iWeb and integrate de guestbook in the middle of the page, but I don't want to do it with iframes.

Template and guestbook

I have made a homepage in dreamweaver using templates. I use
a free guestbook that is a link. How can get the guestbook in the
template? It looks very silly when it has to be open in a new
window...

To add the guestbook to the new Child page would likely be
impossible when
you are using a hosted guestbook as you are (i.e., it's not
on your
site/domain - you are using it from an external domain). To
do this using a
'local' guestbook, you'd have to bring all of the guestbook
pages within the
Template's envelope by copying and pasting from each
guestbook page
(including the scripting on the page) into each new child
page. I'm
doubtful that this method would be within your skill set at
this moment.

Flash guestbook question

First off, I am using all CS3 software (Flash, Dreamweaver,
etc) and PHP 5 and MySQL 5.
Now I have a website that works as i want it to so far (it is
in flash)
I also have a Flash guestbook that uses PHP and MySQL and it
works fine independently.
I want to be able to put the guestbook swf inside of a box on
the flash website so that when the user clicks a link it opens the
guestbook inside the website. . Can anyone tell me how to do this.
I tried a a simple link button with an actionscript which I
included. It is funny, because it acts like the guestbook is
loading, but not playing.
Now, I don;t know if it makes a difference, but I noticed
that n each one of my swf files for the website, there is a
'loader' layer, but in the guestbook there is no 'loader' layer.

Have you tried to use google fonts? I have used them and they work for me.
When you add your font for example:
Copy paste:

and then for font family.

No Apple Remote or Apple Mini-DVI to VGA Adaptor included with new MacBooks

I just picked up a new (black) MacBook yesterday from the Apple Retail Store in Meadowhall (Sheffield). I was quite surprised to open the box and find that the Apple Remote and Mini-DVI to VGA adaptor cable are now optional items and no longer included in the package. Okay, they're not expensive (an extra £30.00 to add both of them), but I just thought I'd mention it to let potential customers know.
I have to say that I'm very pleased at the speed bump and the 250GB hard drive though (you can never have too much space). Also good to have 2GB RAM out of the box (rather than paying an extra £90.00 for the 2GB model). Excellent!

bford0001 - 15% restocking fee? Did you buy it from an Apple Retail store? I bought a black MacBook from them just under two weeks ago (a 2.2 with 160GB HD and 2GB RAM) and they let me take it back and walk out of the store without charging me anything!
One other thing I have noticed - why has the L2 cache dropped to 3MB from 4MB? I know the processor is more powerful, but doesn't that mean it would just about level out, because of the reduction? I noticed the same for the £1,299.00 MacBook Pro and that on the other two models, it's gone up to 6MB. Anyone know how this would change the performance?

Needed: Sum of LineCount Including Groups and Detail Data On Each Page Used To Generate New Page If TotalPageLineCount > 28
Background:
1) Report SQL is created with unions to have detail lines continue on a page, until it reaches page footer or report footer, rather than using subreports.    A subreport report is now essentially a group1a, group1b, etc. (containing column headers and other data within the the report    with their respective detail lines). I had multiple subreports and each subreport became one union.
Created and tested, already:
1) I have calculated @TotalLineForEachOfTheSameGroup, now I need to sum of the individual same group totals to get the total line count on a page.
Issue:
1) I need this to create break on a certain line before, it dribbles in to a pre-printed area.
Other Ideas Appreciated:
1) Groups/detail lines break inconveniently(dribble) into the pre-printed area, looking for alternatives for above situation.

I have OSX Maverick on an iMac using Outlook e-mail. PDF attachments are included in the e-mail as the whole document rather than just the PDF icon. How can i have just the PDF icon as an attachment?

For your own viewing, you can of course control-click on the attachment and select "View as Icon".
For others' viewing, it depends upon their email reader. To ensure that attachments are not displayed expicitly you can put them all in a zip file (via control click and "Compress") then attaching them, or you can use third party stuff like Attachment Tamer.

Increasing the Swap space is the only thing i noticed in all SAP Notes for your problem.
Configure more swapspace please and restart the installation.

IPod nano issue with shuffle function--includes unchecked songs

When I use "shuffle" on my Nano, it is including songs that I have deselected from my music library in iTunes (i.e. songs I don't want loaded to my Nano).
Anyone know why this is happening? I thought unchecked songs weren't transferred to the device, yet I can play them on it?
Is this a glitch or known error?

Check the following:
- Is the iPod full?
- Is the iPod set to update automatically?
- Is the iPods update behavior restricted to a certain number of playlists?
- Rightclick the iPod in the sourcelist, hit update.
- If nothing else works, try reformatting the iPod with the latest Updater

ToComp is not working correctly for Particular and Element 3d (pics included to demonstrate problem)

So, Im using AE CS6. The two plugins concerned are Element 3d and Trapcode Particular.
Im going to include alot of information since I'm not sure what would come in handy to know to solve this.
The final goal is to have the particle emitter follow the left wing of the object when the object is moved using the null named 'Scythe'. (See first photo)
'Scythe' is the brownish null at the center of the object.
I have used the follwing expression line on the Particles X,Y emitter:

'Element Position 2' is the green Null you see in this picture, and is also the proper position for the particle emitter.

However, when this expression is applied it moves the emitter location. As shown in the following picture.

The emitter is only in the proper location on the first frame (first pic), on the second frame (second pic) and every frame afterwards, it is elavated to another position.
Can someone help me correct the new position without manually adjusting the ([0,0,0]) value in the expression line?

If I am not mistaken, the null you are trying to use is parented. You need to use toWorld instead of toComp.
