I would certainly back up everything to an external drive, preferable a bootable clone using CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper! before installing Lion.
You shouldn't have to reinstall yopur apps though.

Use iPhone as designed. Like any digital camera, download your photos to your computer and delete from the iPhone to create space required for iOS upgrade.

It is possible that you forgot to add a file extension (.json) while saving and in that case you may be looking for the wrong file.
Also make sure that you search for hidden files and folder in case the file was saved in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder]
Firefox won't import the file without a .json file extension ("Can't process ..."), but you can create a backup with any name.

For case A, create insp plan with usage "1- production" If you have one IP with this usage for given material then system will assign Plan to lot automatically. In your case for second plan update usage as 1.
For case B, system should assign 1st plan make sure for both plan udage is correct. for 1st plan usage should be 5 while 2nd plan usage should be 1. Now if your 1st have status 4 and key date before lot date then system will assign plan auto.

If you mean how to read/edit/use WORD documents on your Mac....your University should be able to sell you MS Office, or you can buy/download from Amazon.
You can also use NeoOffice (Google is your friend), or switch to Pages, the Apple solution.

Need Basic Information About Importing Word Documents

I just purchased a 24" iMac, after years of using a G4 running OS 9.1. I still need (primarily) a word processing progam and am considering either Word in Microsoft Office or Pages within iWork. I have used Office on both the Mac and PC platforms for years. However, I don't use the other applications within Office that often anymore. And with a new version on the horizon, I'm not sure if I want to buy Office 2004.
My questions focus on Word documents. I have many Word documents on my G4 that I still need to use. My belief is that if I buy Office, I should have no problem. I need to know whether I can I import these Word documents into Pages? If so, will they look the same (formatting) and can I work with (edit) them? What can I expect?
Also, when friends and colleagues send me Word files as attachments, will I be able to open them in Pages?
I appreciate your replies and any recommendations you can offer. Thanks in advance for the feedback. I appreciate it.

Welcome to Apple discussions.
In general, you should have absolutely no problem opening and editing Word documents. Keep in mind that some of Word's more esoteric features don't exist in Pages, so it may be possible that more complicated documents won't look exactly the same in Pages as they do in Word. But I exchange docs with Word users all the time and have no problems.

I has an iphone4 that i last backed up in July. I got a new 5s when i activated the 5s i forgort to first update the Iphone4. I went back and updadted the iphone 4. Now how do I get that info over to the iphone 5s.

You cannot combine backups. You can only use one or the other. Your first problem is the fact that you had not backed up the phone since July. When did you get the 5s? When you activated the 5s, did you set it up as new or did you restore from the old iPhone 4 backup? Did you set the 5s up as new and begin using it and you want to keep the data on the 5s and add the data from the 4? If that is the case, it cannot be done. When you restore from a backup, you wipe all the data off the device and take it back to the date of the backup. All newer data is erased.

Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

On my Mac, in Documents folders A-G have gone missing. When I try to access the backup in time machine, it won't let me go back at all. This is a major problem and I have no idea what happened or how to fix it!

All folders up to "H" have gone missing and for some reason when I go into Time Machine, I'm not able to access any of the backups. It won't let me select any of the screens behind the current one and when I click on the right hand side on any of the dates listed, nothing happens. I really need to get this fixed. Any help????

I don't know what will help at this point. You should never update a system that has problems, unless you're absolutely sure that the problems are caused by a bug that is fixed in the update. With your backups in an uncertain state, you should not update or do anything else except start a new backup.
