  • Popup menu when right clicking DataGrid column

    I have a DataGrid and I'd like the user to be able to
    right-click on the header and pick from some options in a menu.
    Such as give them the ability to clear the rows in the grid. I saw
    on Flex Examples you can add an option to the normal Flash menu
    that pops up but thats not what I want. I want an actual Flex popup
    to appear with my options in there. I saw this done somewhere once,
    but can't find it now.
    This would replace the need for a button below the table,
    which I think will look nicer.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Miklos, you will have to hang your option in the GoTo Menu (id 5888) while creating your From. This menu is Form dependent, therefore when you open another form it will be reseted. After this you will see your option with the right mouse click.
    Catch the MenuEvent and bind it to the class you already use to bring your "Analysis Report" to the front.
    Check also object Form.Menu for further info.
    oMenuitem = B1_Application.Menus.Item("5888")
    MenuParam.Type = SAPbouiCOM.BoMenuType.mt_STRING
    MenuParam.UniqueID = "REPTMNU"
    MenuParam.String = "Analysis Report"
    MenuParam.Enabled = True
    oMenus = oMenuitem.SubMenus
    oMenus.AddEx(MenuParam)
    It's also possible to add it in your Xml Form file as follows:
    - <FormMenu>
    - <Menus>
    - <action type="add">
      <Menu Checked="0" Enabled="1" FatherUID="5888" Image="" Position="0" String="Analysis Report" Type="1" UniqueID="REPTMNU" />
      </action>
      </Menus>
      </FormMenu>

  • Firefox 6. When right clicking a tab no drop-down menu appears. Why do I not have the option to pin, unpin, etc.

    I'm using Firefox 6 with all current updates. This is on a desktop pc running Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
    At some previous time I was able to pin tabs - I pinned three. Lately I do not have a drop-down menu when right clicking on a pinned or unpinned tab. The feature is just not there.

    Try the Firefox SafeMode. <br />
    ''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
    ''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
    # You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    # Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
    ''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
    If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

    Hello,
    ''jstavene wrote:''
    can find nothing under the tools menu for private browsing?
    Then it's not the same issue.
    If Firefox is set to '''Never remember history''', then you're in “permanent private browsing” mode, in which case the menu item ''Stop Private Browsing'' will be grayed out. Perhaps that's the case, and you don't find the menu item easy to see?
    * [[Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track]]
    If that's not the case, then menu items can be hidden using the userChrome.css file. Check if it exists, and if it's there, rename it, then restart Firefox.
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css
    In Firefox Nightly (what will become Firefox 20), per-window private browsing has been added, so the menu item under the Tools menu is gone. It's been replaced by New Private Window under the File menu. I don't suppose it's very likely that you're using such a cutting-edge test version of Firefox though.
    If that doesn't solve the problem, since it's a different issue, it would be best if you would ask a new question.

  • In version 9 is there anyway to put the "Open Link in new Tab" back to where it was when right clicking on a link?

    The menu editor addon no longer works with FF v9.0.1, is there another way to change the location of the "Open Link in New Tab" contextual menu item when right clicking on a link?

    You can do that with code in userChrome.css.

  • Pop up menu on right clicking an image?

    Hello,
    I am new to LabWindows/CVI.
    Requirement: "To get a pop-up menu on right clicking on image"
    Right now, I display my images in window numbers (0 - 15). Is it possible to be able to get a pop-up menu on right clicking an image window. If yes, how? If not, could you please suggest other methods to achieve this task? Should I display the image in a separate parent panel for example? How could I do this?
    Any help would be great.
    Cheers

    I would use the code generator for right click event. then fill it up with whatever code you want under right click case. You can access these when you double click your UIR file, then on the top of the page click Code\Preferences\Default... then choose desired events for picture then go to Code\Generate\all callbacks and skip through the ones you don't want to be replaced.

  • Error message when right-click on desktpp

    Hi.
    I get a error message in Win 7 64 pro when right clicking on the desktop to get to settings saying:
    "Debug Assertation Failed! Program c:\Windows\system32\igfxsrvc.exe File D:\Program Files\Mirosoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\ATLMFC\INCLUDE\atlcorn.h
    Expression: 0&& "Release called on a pointer that has already been released" For information on how your program can cause an assertation faileure, see Visual C++ doc. on assserts
    (Press Retry to debug the application)"
    Then I click abort and the message goes away and up pops the settings (I've tried clicking both retry and ignore with no luck) . Highly annoying and appeared after I've installed my brand new x1 carbon with latest drivers and bios with Think Vantage System Update. Anyone know how to solve that??

  • When right clicking an image in Bridge, the "open with" option doesn't display Fireworks

    This is not the case with all the files, but some.  For example, there was a .jpg file that I couldn't open in Fireworks when right clicking and choosing "open with", although Illustrator and Photoshop were both listed.  Note: I have Cs5 Extended.  Thank you in advance.

    The "open with" menu is set in the OS, not Bridge, so open Windows Explorer and work on it from there to add what you want.

  • How to click, when "right-click dominant" is turned on?

    My sister is on a 17 hour train ride now with her new macbook with Leopard. She doesn't have a mouse/wacom tablet with her now. Without knowing the implications fully, she went into the mouse settings, and turned on "right-click dominant". Her computer only has one click button, which now brings up the mini-menu that comes up with a right-click. Control-click does the same thing. She is stuck. She can't get back into the preferences to unclick the setting, because she can't click.
    Is there a way?? How to click, when "right-click dominant" is turned on?

    I am not familiar with the term "right-click dominant". The mouse section of the System Preferences has a "primary mouse button left/right" setting, but that affects the mouse, not the track pad. I would try all the modifier keys (and combination of) I can think of to see if one switches the track pad click. If that fails, a restart (press the power button and return) might straighten it out.

    Hi,
    Context Menus
    The user interface of a screen is defined by a GUI status, which you define in the Menu Painter and assign the type Dialog status. For each dialog status, the system
    automatically creates a standard context menu, which the user can display by clicking the righthand mouse button on the screen (or choosing Shift+F10). The standard context menu contains all of the function keys to which functions are assigned. It therefore makes it easy to access any function code that is available using the keyboard, since normally only the most important are assigned to the application toolbar.
    However, as well as the standard context menu, you can define context-specific menus for any of the following screen elements:
      Input/output fields
      Text fields
      Table controls
      Group boxes
      Subscreens
    When you select one of these elements using the right-hand mouse button, you can create a dynamic context menu in the ABAP program. This may contain any functions, and is not
    restricted to function keys. You cannot assign context menus to pushbuttons, checkboxes, or radio buttons. However, you can assign unique function codes to them instead.
    Example
    The following example shows some of the technical possibilities for creating context menus, but
    does not necessarily observe all of the style guidelines.
    REPORT demo_dynpro_context_menu.

  • Menu on right-click for numeric control

    Hello,
    is there a way to program a "menu on right-click" for a control (e.g. numeric), like there is for table controls?
    I'm working with CVI 8.0.1
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Greg

    Yes, every control can be added a popup menu with a few instructions.
    Design the menu nar in the UIR editor; do not associate it to any panel
    Load the menu bar when needed with the line menuHandle = LoadMenuBar (0, "myfile.uir", menuBar): by passing 0 as the panel handle it will not be associated to any of them
    In the numeric callback add these instructions:
         switch (event) {
            case EVENT_RIGHT_CLICK:
                // Context menu
               choice = RunPopupMenu (menuHandle, menuBar_Menu, panel, eventData1, eventData2, 0, 0, 0, 0);
                switch (choice) {
                     case menuBar_menu_item1:
                              // menu item handling code
                              break;
                break;
    Passing eventData parameters to RunPopupMenu function ensures that the menu is displayed at the mouse position.
    Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • Moving Files when Right Clicking

    Hello,
    I've been searching on the forums, and haven't been able to get an answer to what I am trying to accomplish.
    I'd like to be able to right click any file of my choice, and be ale to move it to a set of folders (Pictures, Movies, External Drives, etc). How to I go about adding these folders to the menu upon right clicking any file? (For example if you right click, you have an option to move to the trash, I'd like to add additional locations to move a file to).
    Thanks for your help in advance!
    Tom

    Automator actions don't quite work in that way. You can select from any of the currently available variables when editing the Automator window, but you need to specifically define a variable to use in any particular action when running the workflow. You can (sort of) build a custom list, but depending on the number of locations it might be cumbersome.
    1) Set Value of Variable {Variable: Original Items} -- save the original selection
    2) Get Specified Finder Items (ignore input) -- drag all of your specific locations to the window
    3) Choose from List -- select one of the locations (it will only use the first one)
    4) Set Value of Variable {Variable: Location} -- save for later
    5) Get Value of Variable {Variable: Original Items} (ignore input) -- get the original selection back
    6) Move Finder Items {To: (drag Location variable here)}
    You can also use the "Show this action when the workflow runs" on the move action to include the normal selection dialog - you will notice, however, that the only variable that you can choose from is the one you initially set in the action (in my example, that is the Location variable).
    After all of that, unless you only have a few locations that you use, it will probably be easier to just use the selection dialog. Of course, there is always AppleScript (especially to replace the Choose from List action to something that only allows one choice).

  • JSF Popup Menu on right click

    Hi ,
    I want to popup menu on right click of any component(say tree).I searched on the net and found the tomahawk <t:popup> component.
    This component popup the menu when mouse pointer enter in to the component but I don't want this behavior.
    I want to popup the menu only when I right click on the component.
    This is sample program
    <t:popup id="a"
    styleClass="popup"
    closePopupOnExitingElement="true"
    closePopupOnExitingPopup="true"
    displayAtDistanceX="10"
    displayAtDistanceY="10" >
    <h:outputText id="oa" value="#{country.name}"/>
    <f:facet name="popup">
    <h:panelGroup>
    <h:panelGrid columns="1" >
    <h:outputText value="#{country.cities}"/>
    </h:panelGrid>
    </h:panelGroup>
    </f:facet>
    </t:popup>
    DO you have any component like this ? Or any other way to do like this ?
    Thanks in Advance,
    KK

    I wrote a component a while back that does something similar to what you want. You'd probably need to fix it up and add any features that you need that it doesn't already have. It pops up a menu on a right-click, it allows you to provide a facet to supply the contents of the menu. I doubt I made sure it works in IE or any browser other than Firefox... so there may be JS issues. It has some other component dependencies you might want to remove also. I could get it to the point where you could try it out and fix it up if you want, but I won't have time until next week.
