Path are:
CATALINA_BASE=c:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0
CLASSPATH=.;C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\bin\bootstrap.jar;d:\jdk1.6\lib\tools.jar;c:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\lib;c:\jdk1.6\lib\tools.jar;%JAVA_HOME%\lib;%JAVA_HOME%\lib\tools.jar;%TOMCAT_HOME%\lib
JAVA_HOME=d:\jdk1.6
JRE_HOME=c:\j2sdk1.6
TOMCAT_HOME=c:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0
Path=%Path%JAVA_HOME%\bin;;d:\jdk1.6\bin.
Sorry but your question isn't related to Java. It's a pure Tomcat question and should be asked in a Tomcat forum. (And they probably wants to know how it fails, and what error messages you get)

WebLogic Server installation Crashing with a fatal error - SIGSEGV
Hello WLS Gurus,
I am in the process of installing Discoverer 11 and I am facing problems with launching wls1036_generic.jar installer.
I have installed installed Java 7 as follows:
cd /u02/appldisc/11.1.1/Middleware
tar -xvzf jdk-7u25-linux-x64.tar.gz
JAVA_HOME=/u02/appldisc/11.1.1/Middleware/jdk1.7.0_25
I then excuted:
$JAVA_HOME/bin/java -Xmx1024m -jar wls1036_generic.jar
and the installer crashed with this error output:

“Generic WebLogic Server Installer generates a Crash immediately after opening GUI on ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 Library (Doc ID 1570688.1)” which states that
“ This is an issue with AVX support appearing on newer hardware. Default glibc is incompatible with it. This problem happens due to a Red Hat Bug: Segmentation fault in dynamic loader on AVX enabled CPU “
Solution:
1. Set the following Environment Property on your active Shell.
- open a bash terminal and type in:
$ export LD_BIND_NOW=1
2. Re-Run the installer as bellow example.
$JAVA_HOME/bin ./java -jar wls1036_generic.jar

Using Sun Java System App Server Update 1 with JDK1.5's XML
Hi,
I have some new code that uses new XML features from JDK 1.5,
e.g., the Validation API.
However, this code fails to run on Sun Java System App Server Update 1,
since the server uses the 'endorsed' mechanism to load outdated XML libraries.
When I remove the outdated XML JAR's from the server's 'endorsed' directory,
the server fails to start....
I would really like to keep using the new XML features....Where are you placing your jars? I would bundle them with your application. Do not replace the system jars.
There were some package changes to avoid collisions that I believe made jswdp 1.4 and sjsas 8.1 -
I'd start with the basics, can you ping the iMS machine? Can you telnet to port 25 on the machine? Do these steps from the MSX server.
If those things work, which I suspect they will not based on the text "Host unreachable" in your question then I would put master_debug slave_debug on the channel which the MSX system is arriving, either going to be tcp_local or tcp_intranet. Then look at the resulting log file on the iMS system.
Hope this helps,

Regarding Characteristics variable with Replacement path error
Hi Masters
I have created one replacement path variable on characteristics for 0material for first query. This query contains the details of material number only(50 values are available). My second query contains material numbers and material price are there (53 values). When I executed my query, im getting only material number of second query only(50 values are displayed as output, I hope datas are retrived which is common on both query for material number, Please confirm my this). I couldn't get second query's rest of fields like material price of material number. I don't know, what is wrong...?
Could u please help me
Thanks in advance
Raja.SHi
I don't think so, i have to create the characteristic value for material price.

Java servlets and Tomcat server
Hi friends
i am using Sun One forte Community edition . i am trying to make a hello world servlet .
there are 2 Files one is Index.html , HelloWorld.java (Servlet)
I call this servlet from the index.html file.
evertime i call it it gives me and error of Apache tomcat file not found .The tomcat server is inbuilt with the Sun One studio.
the directory structure is
-----HOME
-------WEB_FOLDER
----------Index.html
----------WEB-INF
-------------CLASSES
-----------------myServlet (package)
---------------------HelloWorld.java
-------------LIB
The problem is I am not getting how to write the path of servlet in index.html to call the helloWorld servlet.Make this entry in your server.xml file located in tomcat_dir\conf.
<Context path="/abc"
docBase="webapps/abc"
crossContext="true"
debug="0"
reloadable="true"
trusted="false">
</Context>
Suppose i want to develop my servlets in another folder Let it be "XYZ".Then your package statement must be, 'package xyz;'. Place all your servlets in webapps/abc/WEB_INF/classes/xyz dir.
Place all your Jsp(s) and Htmls in webapps/abc/pqrs dir.
Now they all come under one context 'abc'.

How to deploy Reports which is saved as JSP in Reports 9i , in Tomcat serve
Hi,
I have saved rdf as JSP in Reports 9i and try to deploy in Tomcat server. Initially i got some error regarding taglib, RWException.class. But i put Oracle9IAS classes in /WEB_INF/CLASS folder so able to run JSP.
I am Giving URL As
http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp/IN_FREQUENT_DIALLEDNUMBER.jsp?server=HTP&userid=eulogy/eulogy@eulfenny&destype=cache&desformat=HTML¶mform=yes
If i am not giving Server=HTP, then getting ERROR
Reports Error Page
Wed Feb 18 14:34:09 IST 2004
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: REP-51000: Reports Server name is not specified
If I am giving Server=HTP
Reports Error Page
Wed Feb 18 14:35:15 IST 2004
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: com.sun.corba.se.internal.Interceptors.PIORB
I have placed this class in /web-IF/Class folder, After all i am getting this error.
But My requirment is to run the Jsp without giving Server=HTP
Any One can suggest, It is possible to run this JSP in Tomcat without Using Reports Server(9IAS BC4J instance).
Appreciate all your reply & Thanks In Advance.

RajeevH,
reports cannot be migrated at this time, indeed. -
XSQL with jdk1.2.2 - javai.dll error
I successfully used the xsqlCommandLine utility with jdk1.1.7. When I try with jdk1.2.2, I get an error that javai.dll is not in the path. If I put javai.dll from the 1.1.7/jre/bin in my path, the xsqlCommandLine process runs without end, as if windows (NT) is searching for something else. I'm using the latest classes12.zip and the xmlparserv2.jar files. Any help?

no oracle jdbc oci driver for jdk 1.2 yet ---
also --
The only oracle JDBC driver that can run with JDK 1.2.x is in the
OTN download area and is named "816SDK for JDK 1.2"
it will work with the JDK 1.2.X using the JDBC 1.22 spec from JDK
1.1.X.
IT DOES NOT PROVIDE THE FULL JDBC 2.0 FEATURES/ FUNCTIONALITY
THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE JDK 1.2.X CLASSES.
you're using a jdk 1.2.x/jdbc 2.0 feature -- which is anticipated
to be included in the 816 driver later this year -- it's not in
the "816SDK" JDBC driver you're using now..
816SDK can be thought of as stepping stone between 815 using jdk
1.1.x and 816 supporting jdk 1.1.x and 1.2.x.
i think of it as "8.1.5 and a half" to avoid the naming confusion
between "816sdk" and "816" .

greetings -
We installed a new Server 2008 R2 server this spring. It is configured as a Terminal Server with 16 Wyse t10 thin clients connecting with RDP. We are a small resort so we run Springer Miller Host and SpaSoft. Ever since moving from PCs to the thin clients
and TS we have been seeing SpaSoft randomly crash with KERNELBASE.dll errors and also a lot of c0000005 and c0000006 errors. Springer Miller support says its a Microsoft Networking issue so no help there. The company we worked with to install this has no clue
so I hope to reach out to this community to solve this. I can also open support case with Microsoft Support but I am not sure if they will be of any help. Here are some examples of the errors:
"Event 1000

There are no network specific errors in any of the logs. I am thinking that SpaSoft needs to be run as an administrator but I am not sure how to do that in this environment. We have disabled DEP for all but essential Windows processes. All of the firewall
and AV has been completely disabled, and still getting these errors. Is there a way to run these applications as admin without the user actually being an admin? Should I go ahead and open a Microsoft support case? ThanksHi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.

I don't understand as to why this error is appearing. For easy purpose marking the error part BOLD.
Please help me out if there is any solution for the same.

Whenever I start the tomcat server, Im getting an error in netbeans?
Whenever I start the tomcat server, Im getting an error in netbeans?
Starting of Tomcat failed. '127.0.0.1' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Even I set the path & catalina_home in Environment variables. I start the startup.bat file and catalina.bat file also.
I'm waiting for your quick response.Hi Ershad,
I think this issue is more related to Apache Tomacat, I would suggest you ask in Apache Tomcat forum for a better support, it is appropriate and more experts will assist you.

Jambor

I am running WLCS 3.2 with WLS 5.1 & SP6 on an NT 4.0 system and the
java -version gives this output:
D:\WebLogicCommerceServer3.2>java -version
java version "1.3.0"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0-C, mixed mode)
When I initiate WLCS using the startCommerce.bat file it complains this way:
Error: no `server' JVM at `D:\jdk1.3\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll'
So my question is what did I forget to do when I moved from JDK1.2.2 to JDK1.3?
This is probably an easy fix but it's late in the day and my brain
turned off a few hours ago so I'm gratefully asking here in the newsgroup.
Thanks in advance!

marchFIRSTI think the script starts JVM with -server option and you do not
have HotSpot server installed. Change -server to -hotspot or remove
it altogether.

As we all now, there's a huge security hole in flash. It's not a question, what to upgrade urgently in 32-bit systems, but the crap company Adobe didn't provide us a 64bit version of this new flash beta. The question is: In 64bit systems wouldn't it
