Tools for automation testing on iPhone

Hi All,
Please let me know if there are any commercial tools available that can be used for automation of iPhone testing, on Mac Machines.
Thanks in advance
Amit..

Hi Ahetejaz,
What’s the detail requirement of security testing?
In the VS2012, we can do unit test, web test, load test and so on. I think all of them can’t do the security testing.

I think you need to find security test tool on the internet.

  • Tools for automated testing

    Hi,
our QA dept is looking for a tool for creating automated tests that simulate user activity on web sites (APEX-based particularly).
This tool probably should be able to create initial test scripts on behalf of QA engineer and then play them on its own to test our business processes.
Could anybody recommend a good tool for this purpose?
    Thanks

    Hi Edward,
Although it's maybe not entirely APEX, I saw Steven Feuerstein showing "Quest Code Tester for Oracle" (http://www.quest.com/code%2Dtester%2Dfor%2Doracle/ or http://unittest.inside.quest.com/product_info.jspa).
As Steven describes: Code Tester automates the process of building and running tests of your PL/SQL programs. The major breakthrough achieved by this tool is that you describe the expected behaviour of your program through a graphical interface, and then Code Tester generates the test code needed to implement those tests.
I found it quiet nice and as we're using a lot of PLSQL packages too, I think it can be useful in an APEX environment.

  • Hi, I got the problem with Firefox 27.0.1. I can not run Selenium on Firefox after login a website for automation testing. The browser is not responding.

Hi, I got the problem with Firefox 27.0.1. I can not run Selenium on Firefox after login a website for automation testing. The browser is not responding. However when I close Nunit, the page is back to be normal. The title is returned to the name of website without "not responding". I sure this problem did not happen on Firefox version 26. I just got this problem when firefox upgrading automatically to version 27. Please help me fix this problem because it is very important for my work. If you need more information pls send your concerns via my email address.
    Thanks so much

Hi, the work around suggested above should put you in working mode in the meantime. However to help investigate the issue it is possible to analyze what is not loading or taking a long time by analyzing the network traffic or http headers of the Nunit web page.

If you post the results with out the user data, we are happy to help.

  • Is there a tool for automated GUI feeding?

    Hi!
I did not find a better place for this question:
Let's assume that I have a running Java GUI, is there any tool to access the GUI elements, i.e. to connect to a running GUI (from another script or program), push buttons and fill in text to text fields and so on?
I would like to perform automated tests..
    Best regards

    Hello,
You can use the freeware tool Marathon. It is a nice tool which can be used for automated testing. It also has a script recorder. The script is in jython which makes our job easier.
    You can find this at,

  • Do we have any tools for automating the JavaFX 2.X application testing???

Do we have any tools available for automating the JavaFX 2.X application testing? If so, can somebody provide more information like which shall be the best to get started, whether it is open source or licensed e.t.c?
    Thanks in advance.

Using this we found that we can test only stand alone JavaFX application i.e. *.jar file only.
But we want to test .html file as our application shall pass certain parameters. As per my understanding, I think this is not possible using jemmyfx.
Is there a way to do this?

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Troubleshooting
    *http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-113-crash-mozilla.html
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
    *https://hacks.mozilla.org/2010/09/hardware-acceleration/
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

  • Please recommend a tool for stress-testing ?

Could anyone please recommend a (free) tool to do multi-threaded stress-test, on plain java classes ?
In more detail: I'd like to do unit-test for some plain java methods (only mathematical calculations. No web interface, no swing).
The emphasis is stress test: i need to launch multiple threads, all of them repeately invoking my method. Under these conditions, I need to report correctness (has the method yielded the expected return value), and statistics on response time.
Any recommendations would be appreciated . Thanks !

Working on a project that need me read data from delimited text file, the data will be converted to a tree-structure. So it's better parse the data into XML format first. What??? Why? You've got a text file and need an object tree, why do you think going to XML in between is a good idea?
Besides j2se or jdom, any fast tool for it?What do you mean with "j2se", that's not a XML handling tool (it contains several, 'though).
SAX sounds good for building object trees from XML, but there are several XML mapping libraries out there (try google).

  • Tools for load testing SharePoint 2007

Please advice a tools, which i can use for load testing a SharePoint 2007. We had one issue with performance and want now to detect a reason. So i need to simulate a load testing with 500-600 users for one SharePoint page.
I have found some information, that i can use a Visual Studio Test Edition, but my level of MSDN subscriber has just a Visual Studio. May be there is another free tools for this...

    Hi Evgeny,
SharePoint test data load tool (WSSDW.exe) can be used for your scenario, this article should help you to start with-

  • Run Firefox in headless mode, for automated testing. Ideally other concurrent instances will operate normally for other tasks.

I'm currently writing a Selenium 2 (Ruby) automated testing suite.
I would like to be able to pass something that invokes an instance of firefox in headless mode.
This would allow me to run automated tests whilst carrying on with manual tasks on another, standard set-up instance of Firefox.
If this is possible, that would be fantastic.

  • Tools for Performance Testing ?

    All
We are planning to upgrade to Oracle version 10.2.0.4 in SAP landscape.
    Here is my question:
We have one SAP box Oracle version 10 and other SAP box is with Oracle version 10.2.0.4.
Before upgrading to Oracle version 10.2.0.4 in the Production, we wanted to test the performance of Oracle version 10.2.0.4,
So we decided to run programs(report) in Oracle ver 10 box Vs Oracle version 10.2.0.4 box to check how system taking time to execute.
But my question is whether do we have any kind of performance analyser tools in SAP so that we can cross check with both the boxes performances.
I heard tool called coverage analyser is it works in this scenario.
    Rick

  • Tools for stress testing

Does any one have any idea if there are any oracle tools to perform stress test on App Server for a given application.

There are tools to perform the performance analysis of BPC, one is loadrunner.  But be careful when defining the "hundreds of users using the application simultaneously"; There are many scenarios in my mind, where you could have several hundred users using BPC, but not sending or retrieving data at the exact same time.  You might check the SAP sit eto see if any presentations are posted from the Sapphire conference this Spring.
    Hope this helps.

  • Thanks for Beta testing the iPhone. Let me know when you're happy with it.

I am so happy that Fresno was sold out of iPhones the day I went to buy one. Since then, I have been reading about all the problems the phones are having, and I'm glad I didn't get one. I am a loyal Mac user and look forward to owning an iPhone. I'm just glad there are people like you willing to beta test for Apple, and help them work out all the bugs. When you can hear the phone, visit flash websites, watch internet movies, and use a yahoo account successfully, sign me up. Until then, thanks for you hard work and patience.

You are 100% correct in calling this a Beta version.
I was a Q/A engineer for Intuit and Srint gave us
phone to Beta test for them when they first came out.
I have to say it was hard to find a funtion with a
"bug" in it. Wheras it is hard to find a feature in
the I-Phone that is bug free. I would have to say the
Weather feature works well... Its those other seldom
used features like the phone, calendar, contacts, and
it web are still in step one beta!! And foget aobut
support... I am still waiting on a return call from
    engineering for 5 days now.
Why would Sprint/Intuit give you the iPhone to test? It isn't even on their network much less a CDMA phone.

  • Performance Tool for Mass Tests

    Hello everybody,
does anybody know, if there are any tools (best would be freeware), besides  Mercury Loadrunner,  which you can make mass tests over the ITS ?
We just need 1 license or one installation to measure the performance when alot of users work.
We make a performance project and we need to simulate mass tests in the ITS.(WEB)
    Thanks already for help!
