its not displaying the tool tip
r there any coding we need to do
pls can anybody clear my doubt
r there any setting we need to make in chart designer
or any event for mouse over
thanks

hi,
In that case, create an extra context attribute in that node, and dynamically assign values(text that you wanted to display as tooltip) to it.
Then, map that context with the series element.
Enable the "label" of the businessGraphics from the chart designer.
The result will be that, although u will not get tooltip, but in the labels, you can display what you wanted.

Hanoz

  • Tooltip for RadioButtonGroupByKey

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me how to set different tooltip for a RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element. I create the Simple Values for the an attribute and bind this to the RadioButtonGroupByKey.
    As each UI element has one setTooltip() method, how can we set different tooltip for each radio button in the RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element.
    Thanks.

    Hi Armin,
    Thanx for the answer, actually I was looking for someone to confirm it
    Partially Saravanan is correct as I can modify the tooltip on each selection of the radiobutton but this will not solve the problem as for all the radiobuttons I will see the same tooltip.
    Thanks Again.

  • How to use series in business graphic ui element

    Hi All,
    How to use the series in business graphic ui element? my requirement is i have to display the sales in selected months in graph(these values dont know at design time).
    Regards
    Srikanth

    Hi,
    Use the dynamic node  and bind this node to the BG source node and series nodes.
    Create a node and bind this node to the BG source and the value that you want to shown in series has to be bound to that attribute of the node and similarly with the category.
    Check out for the dynamic node creation and bind this node to the BG.
    Regards,
    Lekha.

  • Fixed length co-ordinates for business graphics

    Hi,
    We are using business graphics UI element with (chart type  : Bars, Columns). The graphics output is working fine but the co-ordinates value of series is automatically getting adjusted to the maximum value of series values obtained.
    But i want the co-ordinates values to be of fixed length. I tried changing the customizing values for value axis (Minimum value - 0 and Maximum value - 100) but doesnt seem to work.
    Can someone help me on how to achieve this?
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hello Vijay Raj,
    the MinimumCalculation / MaximumCalculation needs to be set to UserDefined.
    Kind regards,
    Silke
    <ChartAxes>
      <ValueAxis id="ValueAxis1">
        <Minimum>0</Minimum>
        <MinimumCalculation>UserDefined</MinimumCalculation>
         <Maximum>100</Maximum>
        <MaximumCalculation>UserDefined</MaximumCalculation>
      </TimeAxis>
    </ChartAxes>

  • Unable to set tooltip for item (sap.ui.core.Item)

    sap.ui.core.Item does not have the property 'tooltip'. But it borrows 'tooltip' property and setTooltip( ), getTooltip( ) methods from sap.ui.core.Element.
    Still, if I set the tooltip for item, it is not reflected. What might be wrong?
    Consider the following piece of code for example:
    var item = new sap.ui.core.Item({text:'Item'});
      item.setTooltip('tooltip');
      var oCollection = new sap.ui.ux3.Collection({ items: item
      var oCollectionInspector = new sap.ui.ux3.CollectionInspector({
      'fitParent' : false,
      'collections' : [
      new sap.ui.ux3.Collection({
      'title' : 'My Accounts',
      'items' : [ item]
      oCollectionInspector.placeAt('content');

    Tooltip is applied on the Item, but it seems Collection Inspector set its own tooltip for the Item. You can do something like this to set your own tooltip,
    var item = new sap.ui.core.Item("myItem",{text:'Item'});
    var oCollectionInspector = new sap.ui.ux3.CollectionInspector({
      'fitParent' : false,
      'collections' : [
      new sap.ui.ux3.Collection({
      'title' : 'My Accounts',
      'items' : [ item]
      oCollectionInspector.placeAt('content');
      oCollectionInspector.onAfterRendering = function(){
           sap.ui.ux3.CollectionInspector.prototype.onAfterRendering.apply(this,arguments);
           $('#myItem').attr('title','My Tooltip');

  • Business Graphic show elements sorted

    Hi ,
    i use a business graphic UI Element to display some results.
    Categorie -String (Projectname)

    use the  following steps...
    1. open that chart editor using Edit Customizing Option.
    2. from the Overview select Series node. Right click on it and Add Series.
    3. Series1 will be added. now select Series1 and in the below section go to Area Properties node.
    4. expand it and choose the color you want for the first series.
    5. similarly add Series2 with teh desired color.
    6. then go to the view designer after saving the required changes.
    7. go to the properties of simpleseries1 and in customizingID field write 'Series1'.
    8. similarly fill other simpleseries also with the respective values.
    save it
    activate and its done.

  • Setting series color in the Business Graphics UI element

    Hi all,
    I'm using the Business Graphics UI element in my Web Dynpro application.
    I set the color for various properties using chart designer, then I add the generated XML in the doModifyView method: bg.setDirectCustomizing(xml file) and most of it works.
    However, when I change the series' color, I don't see any change in the xml file (see snapshot).
    http://img90.imageshack.us/my.php?image=graphjy1.jpg
    My xml starts with <SAPChartCustomizing> and ends with </SAPChartCustomizing>.
    How can I set the series' color using the custom xml file?
    Thanks,
    Omri

    Hi,
    as the connection between your data and the customizing settings works via IDs you have to make sure that you set exactly the same ID for a data series as defined in the chart designer.
    In case that you use point customizing make sure that you do not set an ID for the points of your series. Instead set the series customizing ID for the series only! Keep in mind that point customizing always overwrites series customizing if both are defined.

  • Specific hardware recommendations for PE12, Graphics for Win8.1

    We are upgrading our video processing system from Win XP 32bit/ PE10.  I plan on going to PE12 and need better recommendations for CPU, Graphics, Memory, etc than the Tech/Specs recommendations. Most importantly, does PE12 use GPU acceleration?

    Not so much here, but over in the Premiere Pro forum several Adobe employees post to help people
    I can't remember which one, but at least one Adobe employee has "alluded" to the idea that the specifications on the product pages are "market" driven to increase sales, not "technical" driven to let people know what they should have for EFFECTIVE video editing
    The 1st configuration on the page I listed will work OK for P-Elements (it would not work so well for P-Pro)
    When you do start using v12, lots of help links at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1275830

  • Tooltip for AttributedString?

    Hi all,
    I format text in a JTextPane with Styles and Attributes. This works fine and looks like I expected. Is it possible to add a Tooltip to an AttributedString?
    I tried to add an AttributeComponent (in this case a JLabel) instead of the attributed string, because I could set a Tooltip for the JLabel. But the JLabel is not shown in my JTextPane. Maybe someone can give me a hint how to add a Tooltip to an AttributedString or how to display the JLabel as ComponentAttribute.
    Thank you.
    Axel

    Here's some code for a MouseMotionListener I put on my JTextPane and use to implement a hyperlink cursor over styled text representing a url reference:
    class TextPaneMouseMotion extends MouseMotionAdapter
      public void mouseMoved(MouseEvent e)
        JTextComponent jt = (JTextComponent)e.getComponent();
        int pos = jt.viewToModel(e.getPoint());
        if (pos >= 0)
          Element el = d.getCharacterElement(pos);
          AttributeSet as = el.getAttributes();
          if (as.getAttribute(urlRef__) != null)
            jt.setCursor(Cursor.getPredefinedCursor(Cursor.HAND_CURSOR));
          else
            jt.setCursor(Cursor.getDefaultCursor());
    }You can put anything you like into thje style - not just text attributes. Define your own keys (urlRef__ in my case) and if they are present when the mouse is over that part of the text then take the appropriate action.
    So in your case may be put the tool tip text into the style against your own well-known key and if its there in the mouse listener set the tool tip on the JTextPane.

    Hi,
    I've got the same error during my development of a page maintenance service.
    Please check if the cm.jar is correctly deployed in your splservice.ear and check also all other deployment directories.
    You can find them in the Output window of eclipse after execution of the "Deploy CM" script.
    When the cm.jar is deployed well, check if you annotations are correct.
    My annotations are looking like this:
    * Perform Batch Add.
    * @PageMaintenance (secured = false, service = CMIMDIMP,
    *      body = @DataElement (contents = { @DataField (name = CM_SIMULATION)
    *                  , @DataField (name = XML_REQUEST)}),
    *      actions = { "change"
    *            , "read"},
    *      modules = { "foundation"})
    */To connect a Page Maintenance Service, you must first create a service programm and the "service name" of the service program must match to
    the name of the service annotation that you have specified on your Page Maintenance Service, in my case "CMIMDIMP".
    There is no validation during the saving of the service programm, the validation happens when you save the Business Service.
    BTW. you can use jd-gui.exe to decompile the cm.jar file but you will not see the annotations !
    For viewing the ear file I'm using 7-zip.
