i am using alv grid and i got the output. In the list i want to display the total number of records in the alv grid list.

If this is an ALV Grid report, then there are 2 answers:
===Answer1 (recommended by SAP)===
1. Create a "count" column of type I in your internal table.
2. In the field catalog specify do_sum = 'X'.
3. Put the value 1 in every record in your internal table:
LOOP AT itab.
itab-count = 1.
modify itab transporting count.
ENDLOOP.
===Answer2===
1. Add to your ITAB a column type c length 4 called color.
2. Put dummy data lines into the itab, and set their color to 'C310'. The alv Grid layout needs to set as:
ls_layout-info_fieldname = 'COLOR'.
3. In those dummy data lines, calculate the number of rows (the count) and put it as data.
4. You will have to add a hidden column (in FCAT: tech='X') and sort by it. For the dummy lines put '1' (for subtotal) or '2' (for total) and for regular data lines keep it initial.
The drawback of this approach is that the user has the power of destroying the sorting, so the yellow lines are not displayed at the end of report.

Extracting records/ transactions list in to excel sheet

Hi Experties,
I am facing problem while extracting data from CRM - Service Process Monitor.
I tried to extract data(records) from executed service process monitor through
System -> List ->Save->Local file->Spreadsheet
I am not getting actual records list in excel sheet
For example: Actual record - 244, But after extracting to excel sheet its showing only- 199
why its not extracting remaining 45 records/ transactions.
is there any setting or is there any other process of extracting ?
How to count total records without extracting to excek sheet ?

How to remove "Records passed" list when printing ALV report

Hi all,
I have developed an ALV report, in which I have used reuse_alv_list_display functional module to print the output. After pressing print button, when I view the output in spool request transaction, an additional list with Number of records passed and "Calculated total records" is displayed. How to remove this additional list.
I am using Get_print_paramaters FM to print.

Mass deletion of variants for Total Records

Hi there,
during tranings we create a lot of variants for the Total Records (UCWB->Analysis->Total Records->Save Variant). Is there a way to do a mass deletion of those variants?
The standard options of deleting variants only allows to delete one variant per selection.
We work with a SEM BCS EHP 4.

you can do a mass deletion of variants.
First you will need to find the program name for the Totals Records. This can be found from the totals records screen when you click the Get Variant button. Across the top of the dialogue box you will see;
"Variant catelogue for program XXXXXXXXX".
Note this program ID.
Go to TCode SE38
Key in the program - make sure the Short description for the Program is "List of Totals Records"
Check the Variants checkbox
Click on Display
From the menu - go Variants > Catelogue
This should give a list of the variants for the Totals Records. If not then you must have the wrong program.
Click the button which has the picture of the rubbish bin with the words "Selection Criteria".
This will then allow you to put a check mark against all the variants you want deleted.
Click the button which has the picture of the rubbish bin with the word "Variant"
This will then mass delete your variants.

Total records in IT0000 company code wise - SE16N

Hello All,
I need to check the total number of records in IT0000 for employees belonging to a particular company codes or personnel area. But there shouldn't be any duplicate entry for a personnel number in the total records.
In SE16N I am able to get an entire list but not company code wise. Is there any way I can generate the total no records in each infotype, on the basis of company code or personnel areas?

1 - If you have activated Complementary Measures, you should look at table PA0302 instead of table PA0000.
2 - As mentioned by Pedro, se16n will not allow you to get what you require in a single step. An Ad Hoc Query could probably allow you to create the report you want.
3 - Should you be able to get lists of employee numbers "on the basis of company code or personnel areas" (possibly using se16n to look at table PA0001), then you could use those lists to explore the different infotypes (tables PA0000, PA0002, PA0006, etc...) using se16n, but unless you restrict the output to the records with End Date = 31.12.9999 , you will end up with many records for each employee.

NewGL: Calculation of amount of totals records

Hallo zusammen,
ich würde in mySAP ERP2005 gerne das Neue Hauptbuch nutzen und möchte vorher gerne die Anzahl der zu erwartenden Summensätze berechnen, um zu wissen was da auf uns zukommt. Im Moment wird nämlich noch ein "externes" GL-System genutzt.
Dazu habe ich den OSS-Hinweis 1045430 gefunden und implementiert. Dieser stellt den Report RGUIST01 zur Verfügung, der es ermöglichen soll die Anzahl der Summensätze unter anderem anhand von Fremddaten zu bestimmen.
Dieser generiert zur Laufzeit den Report SAPFGSIS, basierend auf den Eingaben in RGUIST01. In RGUIST01 kann ich die Tabelle wählen, auf welcher die Liste der Felder basiert - welche wiederum mit der zu lesenden Tabelle korrespondieren sollte. Entsprechende Tabellen (die mit der zu lesenden Tabelle korrespondieren) habe ich in SAP angelegt.
"Füttere" ich aber den Report jetzt mit den Fremddaten beträgt die ermittelte Anzahl an Summensätzen immer gleich der Anzahl an Zeilen der Tabelle mit den Fremddaten, was aber nicht stimmt/stimmen kann.
Hat schon jemand Erfahrung mit dem Report RGUIST01 gemacht? Oder weiß jemand wie man den Report "richtig" benutzt?

Dear all,
I would like to use the newGL in mySAP ERP2005. Before I would like to calculate the amount of totals records. Therefore I implemented OSS note 1045430, which provides the RGUIST01 report that may calculate the amount of totals records based on the input of external systems also.
Background: At the moment an external GL system is in use and is planned to displace by SAP.
I have created an Z_structure within SAP that corresponds the external file and tried to run the report. But the results I got are always amount of totals records = amount of lines of excel file from external system.
Does anyone already have experience running this report for calculating the amount of totals records?

How can i Enable or disable property of particular record in list item (multi record) based on a corresponding check box(multi record) ,
e.g Form Structure:
if press a button then record should populate where multi_post_query

now wanted result is like below

When I am executing Profit center accounting totals records report 2KEE for a specific selection as below,

Controlling area:
Company code:

After report is generated and if drill down further, line items total is not matching with the report page, breakup gives different values but not the report value.
I tried report even after implementing OSS 892779 and 952263 but the result is same. I am using 4.7

How to get the total record count for the report

How can I get count of the total records shown in the report. When we set the report attributes, we have an option "Set Pagination from X to Y of Z"
Does anyone know how can I get the Z value from APEX variables.
I know we can use that query and get the count but I just want to know how we can use APEX Variables effectively.

Total records in database equals -1?

I have some code, accessing an Access database. As part of development I need to see how many total records there are, so I have the code I took off of bindings in CS 5:

Why would _total always equal -1? The code is otherwise functional but the -1 does not change regardless if I add a record or delete a record?

Total record display in resultlist (interaction history)

Hi all,
May I know how can I add the total search data so that it can display in the interaction history page to show the total record found?
In most cases, like in Activity, it will show the total record found in resultlist. But not in interaction history page.
Can anyone advise?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to use JavaScript to work with SharePoint list.
To create list items, we can create a ListItemCreationInformation object, set its properties, and pass it as parameter to the addItem(parameters) function
of the List object.
To set list item properties, we can use a column indexer to make an assignment, and call the update() function so that changes will take effect when you callexecuteQueryAsync(succeededCallback,
failedCallback).
And to delete a list item, call the deleteObject() function on the object.

Viewer TOTAL record count display CRViewer9

A application written in a previous version of Crystal Reports (7 or 8 ?) displays the TOTAL record count in the viewer (not in the report). I had to upgrade the reports to version 9 (RDC - CRViewer9) and when I preview the report there is no TOTAL record count in the viewer. How do I enable this in Crystal Reports 9?
