Tracking inventory flow from gr to gi

Scenario is like this :-
A Purchase Order is made for a material code and is released completely (e.g. a po is raised for 100 nos.)  (T-code ME21N for Create and ME29N for Release).  The Purchase Order is made with Accounts Assignment Category as u201CQu201D and WBS element.
Goods Receipt are prepared for partly delivered quantities (e.g. 25, 30, 35 nos.). (T-code : MIGO). The material is received with Movement Type 101 Q for 25, 30, 35 nos.
On preparing the GR the Material comes into Project Quality Inspection Stock.
The material is subject to quality inspection, three inspections lots are generated for the three gr prepared for 25, 30 and 35 nos. Usage decision has to be given for these inspection lots. T-code : QA11. Each inspection lot of 25, 30 and 35 nos. is processed separately and a material documents are generated for the three inspection lots processed. The effect is that the Stock moves from Project Quality Inspection Stock to Project Block Stock.
The material documents generated in QA11 has a link to the Goods Receipt document, the Purchase Order through the Quality Inspection Lot.
Transfer Posting entry through MB1B and movement type 343Q is made to move the 25, 30, 35 nos. of quantities from Project Blocked Stock to Project Unrestricted Stock.
We need to do this Transfer Posting entry with Movement Type 343Q either with reference to the Purchase Order or with reference to the material document generated during the process of QA11. The stock will move from Project Blocked Stock to Project Unrestricted Stock.
At present the SAP does not allow Purchase Order reference or material document reference for movement type 343Q.
Please suggest if there are any configuration setting to be done for achieveing the same or are there any work arounds.
This is required to track inventory till unrestricted stock right from gr to gi.
Thanks in advance.
AJ

with batch management you can trace the inventory flow. You are still not allowed to do a 343 with reference to PO or materal document (this is just not SAP design) but batch managment allows you to assign a unique batch number when doing GR and this batch number has to mentioned in all movements until the stock becomes zero. So it is easy to trace the usage in MB51 or even in MB56

  • How to track the flow of data from R/2 to BI ?

    Hi Experts,
Question: How to track the flow of data from R/3 to BI ?
I want to load master data from R/3 to BI. In BI, i create an infopackage to load data from R/3. Under processing tab i set it as "PSA and then in the InfoObject (package by package)". Its a Full update.
Now, i start the update to InfoObject. The load goes on well.
Now, i want to track the flow of data from the master data table in R/3 to Datasource in R/3 then Extractors and then in the PSA in BI and then till the InfoObject. That is the complete flow of data from source table (in R/3) to Target table (in BI).
Please help me know how this can be done. (For example lets take cost element master data)
    Regards,
    Suraj S Nair

    Hi,
    Data flow :
    BW :
When u right click on the Master Data Info object -> Select Data flow. Then  it will  show u the details like DS name,IS (If 3.x)
Once u know the DS then you need to find out the source tables for the R/3 DS.This information will get using ROOSOURCE or ROOSFIELD tables  or help.sap.com.
My suggestion better to search in Help site for DS source tables.
    DS Tables :
The following link will provide you the source tables for some of the LO DS.

  • What is the best way to track a characteristic  from R3 to a BEx report?

    Hi,
What is the most convinient way to track these 2 characteristics in my enivornment:
    Data flows from R3 to InfoSource1, InfoSource2, InfoSource3 and InfoSource4.
    InfoSource1 and InfoSource2.flows to ODS1
    and
    InfoSource3 and InfoSource4. flows to ODS2
then ODS1 and ODS1 flows to Cube1 which then goes ro MultiProvider1
"Created On" characteristics came in from InfoSource1
    and
"Change On" characteristics came in from InfoSource2
Now when you go into BEx, these two are not shown in the dimension nor the report structure, but there are other Time characteristics such as Calendar Day, Calendar Month, Calendar Week.
What are the definitive steps can I take to track down the "Change on" anbd "Created on" down to my report in BEx?
    Thanks

    hi Amanda,
..how do I track down to a document to see what is actually being entered in the Sales Order document on R3.?
    - normally for this, we need to understand the definition of that field sales order document in r/3, if the description just the same as in sales order screen (VA03),
to verify the field we can press F1 on that field, and 'technical information', check 'Field Name'.
we can only mapped one field to one infoobject, you can create another date characteristic or use business content delivered,
if you are using business content e.g sales and install everything from business content, the mapping should be taken care by system.
    hope this helps.

  • Mapping data flow from R/3 to BW

    Hello,
I am pretty new to BW and I have been tasked with creating a detailed map of the data flow from R/3 into BW.
I need to record where the data originates from in R/3 (field names/tables) and literally track the flow of that data all the way including any info objects along the way to any cubes that it may be sitting in.
How do I track this flow ? And how can I identify what a characteristic in BW is in R/3 ?
Has anybody had to create a similar data flow ? If so how did you approach this ?
    Many Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi Matthew,
    From the R/3 side:
BW treats all the data from R/3 as Datasources.
From the Datasource the upload of data to the cube is done as..
    <b>Datasource->Transfer Rule->psa/infosource->communication structure->cube</b>
    (for a 3.5 system)
in case of 7.0 system... data flow is as follows...
    <b>Datasource->infopackage->psa->transformation/DTP-> Data target(cube)</b>
-> Go to transaction <b>RSA5</b>( for Business Content datasources ) and <b>RSA6</b>( for all the active Datasources ) found in the system.
-> There you can find all the data that you want...(For your mapping purpose this will do..)
-> You can as well check from the BI side in the transaction RSA1 -> click on the Monitor button on the left ( for custom objects ) or Business Content button -> choose the object from the tree... right click and replicate to find if all of them were used.
    Hope this helps!!

  • PCA - Value flow from other modules

    HI All,
Can somebody explain how values flow from MM, SD, AR & AP into PCA. How are the account assignments derived and where value flow is done manually??
    Thanks, Ashok

    Hello
The following data is transferred to Profit Center Accounting:
    ·        Revenues and sales input - through assignment of sales document items
    ·        Direct costs - through assignment of production orders and cost objects
    ·        Overhead costs - through assignment of account assignment objects from Overhead Cost Controlling (cost centers, orders etc.)
    FI
When you post data directly in Financial Accounting, all primary data requires an additional assignment to a CO object.
The assignment of this CO object (cost center, order, and so on) to a profit center ensures that the data is passed on to Profit Center Accounting. The profit center cannot, however, be entered directly when the FI posting is made.
It is recommended that you define your cost elements so that the profit center field appears on the account assignment screen in Financial Accounting. This makes it possible for you to verify the assignment. You can do this in Customizing via the basis parameters for business transactions.
    SD
The assignment of a sales order to a profit center is passed from the sales order to the delivery note and then on to the billing document. The change in stock if posted to the profit center upon goods issue.
The following data is transferred from bills and debit and credit memos to Profit Center Accounting.
    Revenues
    Sales deductions (shipping, discounts etc.)
    Accruals (e.g. from rebate agreements)
The profit center is assigned at the item level of the sales order. As a default, the system proposes the profit center of the material in the supplier plant. If you require a different assignment, you have the following choices:
    ·        You can define your own substitution rules for profit center determination
    ·        You can enter the profit center manually
    MM
All the goods movements are created in Materials Management and, where necessary, reflected from a Profit Center Accounting point of view via a special account determination.
The profit center to which the data should be posted depends on which materials and which CO objects are involved.
The following MM activities are reflected in EC-PCA.
Example: Goods Receipt for Purchase Orders
Example: Goods Receipt for Production Orders
    Example: Invoice Receipt
Example: Goods Issue for Delivery Note
    Example: Change in Material Prices/Revaluation
    Example: Inventory Differences
    CO
All the secondary transfers between CO objects are selected and represented in the assigned profit centers.
You can represent the data in Profit Center Accounting by reflecting the original document directly, since only credits and debits arise on the CO objects involved in the transfers.
Also, The system can transfer the following activities from CO:
    Example: Order Settlement
    Example: Assessment/Distribution
    Example: Assessment to Profitability Analysis
    Example: Internal Cost Allocation
    Example: Transfer Postings
    Example: Calculation of Imputed Costs
Example: Transfer Price Allocation Between Partial Projects
Example: Settlement of Work in Process
    Example: Production Variances
    AA
The system selects all the profit&#8209;related data from Investment Management and Asset Management from the creation, use and sale of assets.
When a new asset is constructed, the data of the capital investment measure is transferred to the profit center of the order or project on which it is based.
Imputed depreciation is transferred to the profit center to which the cost center of the asset is assigned. Likewise, profits or losses from the sale of assets are also transferred to the profit center of the cost center.
In Customizing for Asset Management, one depreciation area is assigned to Controlling. The data of this depreciation area is transferred to Profit Center Accounting.
    Hope this gives an idea.

  • How to track the flow of Sharepoint SSRS report requests to troubleshoot slowness

How to track the flow of requests of Integrated SSRS report links in Sharepoint.
We are using SSRS with Sharepoint for reporting purpose. The issue is some of the reports get generated fast and some other reports generation is very slow. When the sql query of these reports RDL file is executed, the records are shown fast.
Also even on clicking the "Add Subscription" link of "Manage Subscriptions" of a report is very slow for some reports, while it is fast for other reports.
I tried enabling SQL profiler to track the requests.  I have checked profiler log for the SQL statements with exec sp_executesql. But they are not helpful.
Pls advice on how to track the request of flow of SSRS report request in sharepoint and how to troubleshoot the slowness in  "Add Subscription" link, response of some reports.

    Hi Pradeesh,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to track SharePoint SSRS report requests to troubleshoot the performance.

    2LIS_03_BX- Initial Stock/Material stock
    2LIS_03_BF - Material movements
2LIS_03_UM - Revaluations/Find the price of the stock
The first DataSource (2LIS_03_BX) is used to extract an opening stock balance on a
detailed level (material, plant, storage location and so on). At this moment, the opening
stock is the operative stock in the source system. "At this moment" is the point in time at
which the statistical setup ran for DataSource 2LIS_03_BX. (This is because no
documents are to be posted during this run and so the stock does not change during this
run, as we will see below). It is not possible to choose a key date freely.
The second DataSource (2LIS_03_BF) is used to extract the material movements into
the BW system. This DataSource provides the data as material documents (MCMSEG
    structure).
The third of the above DataSources (2LIS_03_UM) contains data from valuated
revaluations in Financial Accounting (document BSEG). This data is required to update
valuated stock changes for the calculated stock balance in the BW. This information is
not required in many situations as it is often only the quantities that are of importance.
This DataSource only describes financial accounting processes, not logistical ones. In
other words, only the stock value is changed here, no changes are made to the
quantities. Everything that is subsequently mentioned here about the upload sequence
and compression regarding DataSource 2LIS_03_BF also applies to this DataSource.
This means a detailed description is not required for the revaluation DataSource.

I have copied my CDs into iTunes  (currently running v11) to play on my iPod.  I have now bought a non Apple mp3 player to use when I am out running.  How can I copy the many tracks I want from iTunes onto the new player?
    Thanks

I tried Notpod but can't get it to work.  Part of the problem, I suspect, is that I can't create a folder on my player (a SanDisk Clip+).  I also can't do this in Windows Explorer.  Whilst I can see the Clip+ in Explorer, the option to create a new folder isn't there.
The error mesag I get in Notpod is:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  If you click Quit the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex"
Then, when I plug the Clip+ into a USB port, iTunes thinks it is my iPad - which is because, I guess, Notpod hasn't worked.
I can drag and drop files from the Music folder where my iTunes tracks are stored onto the Clip+ and they get converted but I'd rather synchronise a Playlist from iTunes if I can.
    Thanks anyone who can help

  • How do I get text to flow from one page to the next in Pages 5?

How do I get text to flow from one page to the next in Pages 5 with the Maverick system?

What may be overlooked in Pages v5 is the notion of combining Text Boxes via the Menu > View > Show Arrange Tools. When you select two Text Boxes, an extra panel unfolds at the bottom of the Arrange Tools window. Uncheck one Text Box and this panel abruptly disappears.
One can achieve text flow effects between Text Boxes differently based on how one positions the Text Box overlap, and choice of effect above. Though not the accustomed flow found in Pages ’09 v4.3, flow does occur. Consider the possibilities of combining a Shape and a Text box to cut an irregular Text box.
If I create two Text Boxes and position them side by side with outline touching and choose Unite, this creates one larger Text Box and text flows across and down. On the otherhand, if I overlap the upper left corner of a lower Text Box over one above and to the left, then choose Union, pasted text fills the first Text Box and then flows across and down into the other box. Here is a Union example:
Intersect will leave a small Text Box where the two overlap, so not much value there. Subtract will cut a chunk out of one Text Box that is the size of the overlapping piece of the second Text Box:
And Intersect will leave an island in the center where the two Text Box overlap, with flow jumping over this bridge.
Clearly, this is not what we were accustomed to in the past, but with imagination, style, and layout tuning, it does offer alternative Text Box creativity and layout. Of course, there is the option of simply returning to the previous Pages version for true Text Box linking that most will want to use.

Is there a way to import several tracks at once from my Boss BR8 so that they show up as separate tracks in GarageBand?

I had to google your device - looks like it's a vintage multi-track recorder that records to Zip disks. So I guess there's no digital USB or Firewire multichannel output and no way to transfer your tracks digitally - or is there? If not, your only option is to record the device's audio track by track into GB.

  • Text Flow from service order to requisition

    Hi Everyone,
I having a problem regarding text flow from service orders IW31/IW32 to requisition ME53N.
I created/updated a service order in IW31/IW32 and enter some text in "Operation Short Text" column. When I release the service order the short text should ideally be reflected in purchase requisition. What's happening right now is that "If the length of text entered in IW32 is more than 40 characters then the text is reflected in requisition ME53N otherwise any updates to this column text are not reflected in ME53N".
I debugged ME53N and found that it gets the value of text using READ_TEXT so I hope the same is stored in standard text while saving IW31/IW32. I checked the text also which is created after saving Iw32 and it contains changed data only if the length of the data is more than 40 characters.
To me it looks like standard SAP process that the text will flow from service order to purchase requisition only if the data length is more than 40 characters. If anyone has any idea can you please share. Is there any sugesstion for correcting this. Any reason or OSS.

  • How can I make a form where text flows from one line to another?

I have created a fillable multi page form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. The form was originally created in InDesign, using lines for text. I saved as an interactive pdf, opened in Acrobat Pro, and created a form using the "Create Form" function. This worked great, but some parts of the form have multiple lines that need to be filled out, so the customer would continue typing and the type would flow from one line to the next. Right now the lines are individual fields. Can I easily convert these fields so that the text goes from one line to the next as the person filling out the form types?
    Thank you for the help.

The easiest way is to do a slight redesign to get rid of the lines and then use a multiline field instead of multiple single line fields. If you really need to have the lines, you can use an approach that's demonstrated in the following sample: https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=AG6oZ3bi3DYHokxDPeWN7A
