Traffic lighting error
Hi,
I'm using OBIEE 11g to build a dashboard that makes use of traffic light conditional formatting. However, it seems that on a grid on the dashboard, some values are not generating a traffic light image despite the fact they are within the range covered by the traffic light formatting. I have applied the formatting to entire columns, not just to individual cells. Does anyone know of anything common that might be causing this error?

I have started OC4J_UM (it shows internall error message when i start traffic cop so it loads it).
Traffic cop did not leave messages in Appache because server did its part and i found UM Webmail Client Log and it says :

Using this I could get traffic lights only at header level. if I replace 'TS_HEADER_DETAILS' with 'TS_ITEM_DETAILS' , i can see lights only at item level.
Insummary I can get lights eithere in Header or item level, but I need at both the levels.
Please suggest some solution to overcome this problem..

I want to know the concept of Traffic light(Red=Error,Amber=Warning,Green=Information).
I want to know in which context we can enable Traffic lights in Production Planning. Can any one give the configuration path to enable Traffic light feature in the Production Order release. Traffic light should be green if the Production Order release has no error. Please suggest how to enable this feature during Order Release, Order confirmation etc.

With this in mind, I'd doubt the previous statement that the order status is 'completed'. Such orders wouldn't be picked up for the Delivery Due list. It is possible that either there is a line item that is not relevant to delivery yet it makes the order header status incomplete. Thus Delivery Due list picks up the order # based on the header status but when it checks the line items, there is nothing relevant for delivery.
Check again the order statuses, not just on screen but in the tables VBUK/VBUP. Additionally, you can search for the notes yourself using the message ID/number (e.g. VL 001, which you should see, along with the long text, when you double-click on the message). -

i am a student and new to graphical programming.i am using labview 6.1 to monitor and control a system of traffic lights from a central location.my problem is geting the lights to go on and off.
You asked the same question here and the answer is still the same. Provide some details on what exactly you're attempting to do and what specifically is the problem. That means details on what kind of hardware you're using to interface to the lights, any error codes being generated, etc. Posting your program would help as well.

I was wondering while doing collective delivery processing against STO..i am able to process delivery inspite of red traffic light when it should be only under yellow light ...How is that possible ? also would like to know how and when red and yellow light appears..

Red light indicates error from where you cannot proceed further.
Yellow light indicates warning, but you can still proceed further at that level.......which may affect at further level.
Green light indicates ok
In your case, check if you can run the whole cycle successfully. if the system lets you pass through the red indicator........it could be system bug.

How to show traffic lights on push button in ALV Grid?
Hi Experts,
I have an requirement where I have to show traffic lights on push button in ALV grid of a container. I am showing access sequence for each condition type in my grid. Now, if the access sequence contains 'PLANT', it should show 'green' on push button or else it should show 'red'. How I can I achieve this?

How to delete request in yellow traffic light?
Hi experts:
I created one infopackage yesterday to load the vendor text from our DEV source system. Its update mode is "Initialize Delta Process". When I right click on the infopackage and select manage, I see this request is still in yellow and 'Request has a yellow traffic light in the monitor - Cannot be deleted.' And when I go to Data selection I got the information: "Init. select. for field name currently running in request ***".
Does anybody know how to delete the request still in running or in yellow traffic?
Another thing is when I double click on the infopackage a warning message will pop up with: " Assign a language field to IOBJ 0LANGU; danger of short dump". Do I need to take care of this warning?

Make the request forcefully into RED and then delete it, you can do it in RSMO or goto Obejct and Manage and then Click on YELLOW color Ball and then it will popup one window there make to red and delete it.
The reasons for Yellow
Check the DataSource in RSA3, if it is working fine and able to see the data in RSA3, there is no problem in DS level, then checl the Mappings and any routines in BW for that DS, if this is also fine then check the below options.

Check RFC Connection between ECC and BW systems, i.e. RSA1-->Source System->Right Click on Source system and Check.
You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract the data from ECC, so add these profiels in BW.
S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
And also check the following things.
1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

ME23N restrict IDOC creation and keep traffic light yellow
Hi,
I have a requirement in which I need to restrict the EDI IDOC if there are errors in the PO. Also as the IDOC is not created the messages (type NEU) should remain with the yellow traffic light as the IDOC is not processed. What would be the best approach to keep the traffic light yellow , I have identified the point to restrict IDOC creation but the traffic light is set to red.

Yellow light in Output type shows its Not Processed. If you are talking about exits EXIT_SAPLEINM_002/EXIT_SAPLEINM_011 they come into picture when Output type processing started. So ultimately they will have either Success/Error status.
Even by setting sy-msgty = 'W' in EXIT_SAPLEINM_002 and raising exception will not help.
You can play around with FMs mentioned in group WMCP and can check. -
ALV editable with traffic lights
Hello all,
I need some help about ALV editable; my reports display an ALV grid editable, and update all the new values on the DB table, but I have traffic lights as values on the DB table.

I got all the match code form the table (DB) , so on my report I could modify all the traffic lights but when I save the modifications, I got a message error.
And the second problem was, I couldnt come back to the value initial and I getting the same message.

Traffic light project for Multisim
Hello, I am trying to design a working traffic light for both N/S and E/W sides of traffic (i.e., six lights). I will build it later, for real, using the Elvis II breadboard. I have been looking around at other schematics on the web, I have drawn many of these on Multisim and none of them work. It also needs to be a U.S. traffic light, as the ones in the U.K. are different. I have tried many different combinations, with the 555 timer and the 4017 decade counter, but I don't know how these components actually work. I need help. The simplest circuit would be better, I know, like some kind of RS flip-flop or JK flip-flop (?). I don't know how these components really hook up together or how I am supposed to get the timing right, where the red and green on opposite times will stay on for a required time, like 15 seconds for demo purposes, and then go to yellow on the side the green was on for 3 seconds ( after the green goes out and the red stays on with the yellow) and then it flip-flops to green and red on the other side for 15 seconds. I don't know how to go about this. A good example would be very helpful. Thank you, brett1405

I am trying to build the same type of circuit in Multisim and am unable to get any simulation to run. The error keeps saying my "timestep is too short", which I have no idea what that means... Do you have any suggestions? I wasn't able to find the sample circuit in my Multisim version for the traffic light either.
I have what looks like a mess of a circuit and I don't even know where to begin to trouble shoot it...

Displaying traffic light in a web template.
Hi BW Experts,
Here goes my problem:
In my project I added a new row into a Bex Query which is working fine. But when i executed the same query in the web templates in the WAD i got a formatting error while displaying. There are particular fields for each row in which values itself are not displayed instead it displays either red or green traffic light if values are decreasing or increasing respectively. Originally there were 5 rows, when i added a new row between the 4th and the 5th row, the 6th row displayed values but no traffic light while the newly added 5th row fields displayed traffic lights. when I tried to swap 5th and 6th row, same problem ocurred again in the 6th row.

Hi Expert,
I have a problem after filter the traffic light in ALV and I try to filter again at the traffic light or anoters column I will be got an information message "Filter internal error: 15".
Could anyone please tell me how to fixed this problem?
P.S. I have this problem both BCALV_GRID_04 and another my programs.
