What is a high dimensional message?
If it can be turning into a series of bytes and back again you can transfer it any number of ways. Sockets, FTP, HTTP, SocketChannel, TCP/IP, sneaker net etc.

to have stopped working and/or the session is just idling doing nothing.

SYS@destp>We have had an issue in the past where the connection was being dropped by the network when the process runs for few days, hence we have added the following to the sqlnet.ora and listener.ora files:

How to transfer passwords encrypted from client to server?

Hello dear community,
I have already some experience with programming and did a lot of web-software, but I never was facing the problem that passwords are transfered as plain text to the server when using a login-form.
For my front-end, I use Java ServerFaces 2.0.
I read a lot of hints like using a javascript based MD5 library and send the password as MD5 but this can be sniffed an decrypted easily.
Do you have some hints to easily implement a secure transfer of values from client to server?

You should only use one Apple ID for both phones. All apps that you bought for your 3 are linked forever to the Apple ID used to buy them. If you set up your iPhone 5 as a new phone, rather than restoring from a backup of the 3, you will lose the messages, but you can sync to get the pix, contacts and music. It is safer to do it as a new phone, because sometimes restoring a backup from an earlier version of the phone can cause problems in the new phone (as told to me by an Apple store "genius" two days ago.)

Dear All,
I am facing a performance issue in a particular operation ( which was completed in 21 Minutes earlier). Now the same operation takes more than 35 Minutes. I took a trace for those session ( 10046 level 12 trace ) and found Lot of waits in SQL*Net message from client.
Elapsed times include waiting on following events:
Event waited on Times Max. Wait Total Waited

I copied only the highest wait in the tkprof output.
And I found from the tkprof and even in raw trace file this event waits more time after excuting

In awr report , this query taken less than a sec for more than 2000 executions.

VinodhGood idea to check the raw trace file. It is important to notice that this particular wait event appears after the fetch of the result from the database. The client receives the SYSDATE from the database server, and then the client performs some sort of action for about 10 seconds before submitting its next request to the database. The SQL statement that immediately follows and immediately preceeds this section of the trace file might provide clues regarding what caused the delay, and where that delay resides in the client side code. Maybe a creative developer added a "sleep for 10 seconds" routine when intending to sleep for 10ms? Maybe the client CPU is close to 100% utilization?

I'm not sure how you transferred the other information, but creating an iCloud backup on the iPhone 5, and then restoring it on the iPhone 5s would be the most common process.

How to transfer the Dispatch customizing from client 000 to working client?

Dear Experts
we have installed GTS 8.0 since this morning. Now we would like to put the default customizing from SAP (which is available in the 000 client) to our working client. Till now, all customizing tables are empty.
I had a look in the OSS notes and found the note 1286195, where it is described to activate the BC-Sets for the customs processes in Switzerland. But the note is valid for GTS 7.2. No information about the 8.0 version.
My question is, do I have to activate the Sets according to the note also in our system? if not, how can I transfer the default customizing form the client 000 to my working client?

You can follow the given step to get standar configuration of SAP:
Choose a transaction in the customizing ( eg. Define Partner Function)
Go to the menu Utilities u2013 Adjustment
Select the FRC connection from client 000
Select your entries and click on Adjust
Select COPY ALL button
Click on YES (copy changes)
Your entry is added in the list
You need RFC connection to client 000.

There are two situations where you can use this depending on the type of client:
1. To keep inventory reports on a client (that is not an MP), create the following file:
%systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
2. To keep inventory reports on a MP (that is also a client), create the following file:
<x>:\sms_ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
The XML file will be saved in the inventory\temp folder.
