Hello
I have an JWS-Application that starts another JWS-Appliction via BasicService, showDocument(...).
Is there a way to transfer a large amount of data from the first application to the second one without using the filesystem?

OK. It seems it can, so long as the user agrees (and it has not been barred by the system admin. etc.). First I got a dialog saying.
The maximum size of allotted storage is 262,144 bytes.
The applications has requested to increase it to
15,000,000 bytes.But once I'd OK'd it, then the console output read:

Alternately, to keep it both entirely sandboxed and without prompts. Request only the 262,144 (80Kb by my calculations) and write the data part by part within that limit.
The reading app. would need to check the persistence cache on a Timer (or similar) while the writing app. in turn checks it regularly during write operations. As soon as the reading app. has noticed and read the latest chunk of data, it sets a flag in the persistence service, and the writing app. writes the next chunk.

Drag whatever you want from the card onto the desktop.
Now put another card into the reader and drag that which is on the desktop onto the second card.

Transfer data from a purchasing organization to another.

Dear all,
I am currently using two purchasing organizations: A and B. I don't want to use B anymore. There are source lists, purchase info records, suppliers, PRs, POs and maybe other data that are currently related to the purchasing organization B.
What should I do transfer the data to the purchasing organization A?
What would be the consequences of the "migration" of source lists, purchase info records on existing POs, PRs, on invoice verification, PR release strategy, PO release strategy, vendor master data, material master data...etc?

It is like a migration from legacy, only difference is that the source is your own SAP system.
so you need extract the relevant data and do a load exchanging the purchasing org.
vendors can be extended to the new organisation via XD99 copying data from the old organisation.
material master is not purchasing org specific, hence no change needed.
Source list an info records need to be loaded, which can be done with LSMW.
you have to decide yourself what you want do with existing open orders, the vendor would not really understand and probably not even see a difference in the PO form if you cancel the order for the old organisation and send a new order for the new organisation.

I hope the earlier post by kashyap is good enough an answer. anywas in addition to it let me give a detailed
explanation of how you can populate an internal table.
1) Append data line by line.
     Syntax : APPEND [<wa> TO / INITIAL LINE TO] <itab>.
this appends new line to internal table <itab>.
2) Using COLLECT statement.
             COLLECT is another form of statement used for populating the internal tables. Generally COLLECT is used while inserting lines into an internal table with unique standard key. The syntax for COLLECT statement is as shown
     Syntax : COLLECT [<wa> INTO] <itab>.
3) Using INSERT statement
     Syntax INSERT [<wa> INTO / INITIAL LINE INTO] <itab> [index <idx>].
INSERT statement adds a line/work area to the internal table. You can specify the position at which the new line is to be added by using the INDEX clause with the INSERT statement.
Now coming to your request..
To append part or all of an internal table
     Syntax
              APPEND LINES OF <itab1> [FROM <n1>] [TO <n2>] TO <itab2>.
*     Note:
Without the FROM and TO options, this statement appends the entire table <itab1> to <itab2>.*
b) To insert part or all of an internal table into another internal table
     Syntax
          INSERT LINES OF <itab1> [FROM <n1>] [TO <n2>]
          INTO <itab2> [INDEX <idx>].
c) Using Move statement.
To copy entire contents of one table into another in one execution
     Syntax MOVE <itab1> To <itab2>.
               OR
          <itab1> = <itab2>.
but u hav to be careful because he contents of itab2 will eb overwritten on the execution of this statement.
These copy the contents of ITAB1 to ITAB2. Incase of internal tables with header line we have to use [] inorder to distinguish from work area. So, to copy contents of internal tables with header line the syntax becomes,
ITAB1[] = ITAB2[].
Coming to the letter part of your question, Yes, we can copy values between tables having different structures.
for this we use
                            MOVE-CORRESPONDING <itab1> TO <itab2>
    this executes the statement for their header lines. Searches for the sub-fields which occur both in itab1 and itab2 and then generates, for all relevant field pairs which correspond to the
        sub-fields ni , statements of the form MOVE itab1-ni TO itab2-ni. The other fields remain unchanged.

If your old device is an Apple using iOS 5 or later, and you have an iCloud account, you can transfer all your saved messages, email accounts, photos, notes, and other personal settings to your new iPhone.

Connect your old Apple device to WiFi and to a power source.

My original external has an error and needs to be reformatted but I dont want to lose this informations its my entire Itunes library.

Sounds like the source drive is formatted as case sensitive and the destination drive is not. The preferred format for OS X is case insensitive unless there is a compelling reason to go case sensitive.
Why can't you change the filename? Is it because the source drive is having problems? If so is this happening with only one or two or a few files? If so the best thing would be to copy those over individually and then rename them on the destination drive.
If it is more then you can do manually and you can't change the name on the source you will have to reformat the destination as case sensitive.
Btw this group is for discussion of the Support Communities itself, you;d do better posting to Lion group. I'll see if a host will move it.

Can you transfer data from one numbers spreadsheet to another using conditional formatting?

I have a tracker document set up for client payments and when I indicate payment received, it flags green using conditional formatting. However I would like these to automatically transfer to another sheet - without having to cut and paste the associated data to the other sheet. Can I set up conditional formatting to do this? If not how could I get and automatic transfer?

Hi Kangers,
There are a number of ways to transfer data from one table to the next. It should not be hard to set up.
Conditional formatting would not be involved it moving the data but you could set it up to flag the data in the new table.
Without knowing what your tables and data look like it is hard to propose a solution.
