Transfer of customer and vendor open items available? (like asset transfer)

Hello,
May I ask you about your opinion.
In SAP we have functionality to transfer assets from burks"A" to bukrs "B".
Do we also have this functionality for customer and vendor open items?

                What is customer and vendor open items.

    Hello Shailesh,
    When you procure some goods from a Vendor you create a "Vendor Invoice" for it & similarly when you sell goods to a customer you create a "Customer Invoice".
    So in simple accounting terms you need to pay money to a vendor & get money from a customer (i am not getting into complicated cases).
    The vendor invoices for which you have not paid money are called "Vendor Open Items". Similarly the customer invoices for which you have not received money are called "Customer Open Items".
    The SAP tables for this are:
    BSIK --> Vendor Open Items
    BSID --> Customer Open Items.

  • Bapi or FM for clearing Customer and Vendor Open Items

    Hi.
    I am looking for a bapi to post incoming payments from customers (F-28) and outgoing payments to vendors (F-53). I already tried BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT_POST, but with no success (just created a new open document), so if somebody knows how to use this BAPI to perform the clearing please post an example.

    It can use the BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST but only to post the document for incoming and outcoming payment, because they are account documents.
    But there isn't a BAPI to clear the open items: u should create it.

  • Offset customer and vendor open items from different company codes

    Dear all,
    I would appreciate if you could help me with below issue:
    We have 2 company codes, these 2 company codes are under one company, i.e one group.
    When one company code (company code A) make vendor payment, the other company code (company code B) where this vendor is a customer and having Dr. balance, request company code A to deduct the amount receivable from B's customer, i.e vendor of company code A.
    Could it be possible to do this ín SAP?
    How to offset these two balances while running automatic payment F110?
    I would obliged any of your advise.

  • Table for Customer and vendor open balance on a key date

    Dear All,
    Can anyone please let me know Table for Customer and vendor open balance on a key date. We are developing one customized report.
    I have checked with the below table :
    Customer-KNC1, KNC3,BSID, BSAD
    Vendor-LFC1, LFC3, BSIK, BSAK.
    But these are not working properly for all customers and vedors. Also, in open items, there are items with clearing documents.
    Plesae let me know, how to go for it.
    Please suggest.

    Through BTE1650 you can fetch it . for this you have to  do some development.
    You can add additonal field to FBL*N reports with using BTE exit.

  • Profit Center in Customer and Vendor Line item

    Hello Guru
    i have one doubt we have activated the new GL in one of client for profit center level. while posting through any of financial transaction particularly customer and vendor there is no filed for input parameters for profit center. while booking these kind of transaction system pick up the dummy profit center. even our field status group for  gl master data and posting key made as optional PCA filed not displaying.    client want it should be pick up  automatically from line item and should be input parameters.
    how to resolve this issue please let me know.

    Hi,
    You are saying that u have activated New G/L, but are u gone for document spliting also or not? if you have activated document spliting customer and vendor line items not at all required any profit center because it will petch the profit center from oppsite line item automatically for giving tallyed balance sheet at profit center leavel, so no question profit center required or going to dummy profit center because dummy profit center will be locked automatcially once u activate document spliting.
    if you have not activated document spliting then customer and vendor line items may require profit center its depends on your field status settings, if you feel that it should not go to dummy profit center then maintain some profit center in 3keh & 3kei settings for customer and vendor reconcliation accounts, so that it will post to that profit center.

    there are 14 steps u have to go through while uploading...
    first u create Project and Sub Projects...
    1 Maintain Object Attributes
       select Batch Input Recording.
               click on Overview.
       enter Recording
    Then it wil ask for the Transaction code there u enter XK01 for creation
    u enter all The details Which are Given to u in Excel by ur CTM Members.
    note: Dont use Mouse while Entering the data.Use Only Key Board.
    After Entering all the required details  click on  Save...
    select Default All
    System-> List -> Save -> Local File
    Convert Excel to Text File(Text Tab Limited)
      2 Maintain Source Structures
         Create Source Structure.
    3 Maintain Source Fields
         click on Copy Fields
         Select From Data File
         Select Max Len
         save + back
      4 Maintain Structure Relations
         save+back
       5 Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules
          Extras -> Auto Field Mapping
          select Edit All Target Fields
          save + Back
       7 Specify Files

  • Do F-32 Clear Customer and Process Open Items just do BKPF/BSEG adds/chgs ?

    !uestion 1:
    When a user executes F-32 in  "clear customer" and "process open items" modalities, are BKPF and BSEG the only tables that actually get changed via adds or updates?
    Or are there other tables affected as well?
    Question 2:
    If BKPF and BSEG are the only affected tables, can I safely emulate the effect of the F-32 Clear Customer and Process Open Items Modalities by:
    1) examining the BKPF/BSEG records added or changed;
    2) using the appropriate BAPI(s) to accomplish these adds/changes (like BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST)
    Question 3:
    If BKPF and BSEG are NOT the only tables affected by F-32 Clear Customer and Process Open Items, can I emulate these modalities of F-32 thru an appropriate combinaton of BAPIs ?
    Note:
    The reason Im asking these questions the way I am is because a search  of SDN turns up no really good answer to the question of whether the Clear Customer and Process Open Items modlaities of F-32 can be emulated by one BAPI or a combination of BAPI's.
    So by formulating questions (1-3) the way I have, I'm hoping that someone will provide SDN with a clear and definitive answer to the "F-32 BAPI Emulation" question.

    Actually, the "right" answer in this case is to call CLEAR_DOCUMENTS and model the call after the call in PRELIMINARY_POSTING_ZANF_CLEAR

  • Profit Centre not picking in customer and vendor line items

    When we are posting the entries for customer and vendors and when i want to check the balances of customers & Vendors profit center wise it is not showing any balance but if i will check the same transaction in the P & L A/C it shows me the balance there Profit Center Wise
    Can we please tell me where i have to maintain the settings so that i can get the balances of customers and vendors Profit Center Wise

    Hello,
    Unless you are on New GL with document splitting functionality, no items on vendor and customer will be posted with Profit Center.
    You run 1KEK periodically to transfer the receivables and payables to PCA.

  • ICR - Selection times for Customer vs Vendor open items

    We have implemented note 1349849 and tested the selection again. I now have a strange result. The selection of customer open items is fast i.e. 120 000 records in 850 sec, however, the selection of the vendor items takes takes 3600 sec for same volume of items??...and times out.
    I have executed several test runs using the selection parameters for both customer and vendor number (just to restrict to one associated company) and the results are consistent, the vendor items take around 3 to 10 times the time as for Customer items.
    The respective total data volume in the open item tables was as follows:
    BSID - 1.8 mil records
    BSIK - 950K records
    Has anyone experienced the above scenario?

    Hello Kris,
    I suggest you run a trace on the selects and check which indices are used for the tables. You may want to create an additional index for BSIK (or BSAK?) to speed up processing.

  • Reset Cleared Documents and Vendor Open Items Report FBL1N

    Hi all,
    I have following scenario:
    - In last month, we had 2 documents (invoice and payment) cleared against each other. We created open items report as well as open items correspondence sent to Vendor. Obviously, the docs were not included in report.
    - In this month, we have reset and reverse clearing document of the documents. We create report again with the open key date as in last month. It should not include the 2 docs but it did with whichever key date we chose.
    Is there any setting that open item report doesn't include cleared item at the key date when we run report for previous month?

    Hi Dau,
    If i understand you correctly then you posted and paid invoice in Jan 2012 and generated the open line item report for Jan which correctly did not include this cleared invoice.
    Now in Feb 2012 you reset and reversed this payment document.
    The issue is when you execute the report FBL1N again then you get the open line item for this invoice correct. Please confirm what is the open item key date that you are using here for generating this report
    If you keep it 31.01.2012 then definetly this invoice should not appear in the report but if you keep that 29.12.2012 then this line item would for sure appear.
    The importance of key date is to limit the report to certain date. The system selects all items posted up to and including the specified key date and open for this period.
    so I think your issue is with the key date.

  • Foreign currency valuation (new) for vendors and costumers open items

    Dear friends,
    Is there any option  that when i run the foreign currency valuation program (fagl_fc_val) for vendors and costumers open line items not to generate the reverse posting? I have read in the sap library that the reverse posting is optional and the when you pay the invoice the system works the difference out between the valuation and the exchange rate of the payment, but i can not find it in customizing.

    I also like to add that it is best to post reversal because normally the revaluation entry is posted on the last date of the month and the reversal entry is posted on the first day of the following month, which means that the following month will have a new entry on the last date independent of the entry made in the prior month.
    The idea of posting the valuation entry is to value the customer and vendor open items which were posted (let us say 3 months ago in a foreign currency) with the latest exchange rate as of the end of the month. This way these payables and receivables stand corrected.
    Is there any reason why you don't want to post the reversal entry?

  • Intercompany Netting between Customer and Vendor

    I have 2 queries regaring netting of customer and vendor open line items.
    1. Is it possible to have netting between vendor of one company code with customer of another company code. Is yes, how do we do that.
    2. It is very much possible to net off vendor and customer for the same company code, but manier times payment proposal ( F110) contains amount in both outgoing and incoming payments, so in order to aggregate the amount to determine final amount to be delievered or recieved we need to manually re-process the same using Edit Proposal option. Using that option we can manually do this. But is there any way in Standard SAP that this manual re-processing is not required and this could be automated.
    Kindly let me know your views on the same. Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Ajay,
    1) Yes it is possible. It is done in the same way, except Intercompany Automatic Posting - Clearing Accounts (Tcode OBYA) need to be configured. We are using clearing account inorder to achieve the same.
    a) Customer invoice
    b) Payment to customer invoice using the clearing account in comapnay code B (At this time Customer invoice in company code A will be cleared).
    C) Vendoer invoice in Company code B
    D) Clearing Vendor invoice in company code B using clearing account belongs to company code B.
    E) At this time, there will be a Debit and Credit amount on Clearing account.
    F) Clearing Debit and Credit using Automatic Clearing SAPF124.
    2) There is no standard SAP delivered rather, you will need to customize to achieve your requirement using BDC.
